Star Wars Clone Wars
Animated Star Wars TV Television Show Series Cartoon Network
Chapter Summary Episode Guide Season 1 and Season 2
Chapter 1: Like fire across the galaxy, the Clone Wars spread. Supreme Chancellor Palpatine enlists the Jedi, Obi-Wan Kenobi and Anakin, to lead an assault on Muunilinst, a Separatist stronghold. As the Jedi prepare to lead the Republic Army to this new battlefront, Anakin must say goodbye to his secret love, Padme Amidala. Obi-Wan Kenobi and Anakin prepare to lead an assault on Muunilinst.
Chapter 2: The Republic fleet, led by Anakin Skywalker and Obi-Wan Kenobi, encounters resistance as it enters the orbit of the planet Muunilinst. The Republic's attack gunships manage to land on the planet, where they encounter the Droid Army of the Separatists. Advanced Recon Commandos, the elite shock forces of the Republic Army, are deployed on a special mission within the city, but their ship is shot down behind enemy lines.
Chapter 3: On the planet of Muunilinst, the elite ARC troopers, cut off from their original drop zone, must make their way to an enemy command center. Along the way, they must face off against the Droid Army in a tricky urban battle zone.
Chapter 4: The Separatist leader San Hill panics as the Republic Army advances. But Count Dooku has sent powerful new enemy, Durge, onto Muunilinst. This vicious bounty hunter leads a band of mercenaries toward the heart of the Republic's forces. The Republic Army now faces a challenge greater than ever imagined against this tenacious villain and his forces.
Chapter 5: On the water planet of Mon Calamari, Jedi Kit Fisto leads an attack on Separatist forces. He commands a squadron of amphibious clone troopers for the undersea offensive against a well-armed aquatic squad of the Droid Army.
Chapter 6: Count Dooku seeks a new ally with the power to defeat the Jedi. On the planet Rattatak, he encounters a mysterious fighter who dominates every opponent in the combat ring. She introduces herself to him as Asajj Ventress, a Sith warrior.
Chapter 7: After denouncing her claims to be a Sith, Dooku challenges Asajj in combat and defeats her. But he is so impressed with her skills that he gives her an important assignment to assassinate Anakin Skywalker.
Chapter 8: Back on Muunilinst, Obi-Wan leads a team of Lancer Troops, specialized clone troopers mounted on speeder bikes. Durge and his mercenaries prove to be a stout challenge to Obi-Wan and his army. Meanwhile, the ARC troopers penetrate the enemy command center on another part of the planet.
Chapter 9: Obi-Wan continues his assault on the Separatist command center on Muunilinst. The Jedi general and his Clone Army takes the battle directly to San Hill and the Separatist Droid Army.
Chapter 10: Anakin Skywalker is leading the Clone Army in a fierce space battle when a mysterious ship engages him. When the pilot, mysterious Dark Jedi Asajj Ventress, leaps into hyperspace, the impetuous young Jedi follows, ignoring Obi-Wan's orders.
Chapter 11: Anakin continues his pursuit of Dark Jedi Asajj Ventress, disobeying Obi-Wan's strenuous orders not to do so. During an intense dogfight, he tracks her through hyperspace to Yavin 4. Obi-Wan Kenobi, who is acting as a General of the Army of the Republic, dispatches a platoon of ARC Troopers to support his Padawan.
Chapter 12: Mace Windu is on Dantooine with huge droid ships that pound the enemy into ruin. Master Mace and his squad of clone troopers are in a battle against super destroyer droids on the planet Dantooine. All seems to be going the way of our heroes until a huge shadow looms overhead. It's the Seismic Tank, a monster ship that hovers over the enemy and pounds them with a huge pounding device.
Chapter 13: Mace is doing his best against the Seismic Tank and the merciless Super Destroyer Droids. Some very cool Jedi action in both this and the previous episode culminates with Mace taking down the hovering menace and enjoying a brief respite with a local lad who sports a familiar looking floppy hat.
Chapter 14: Luminara Unduli and Barriss Offee are completing some Jedi training and building some light sabers in an ice cave which doubles as a Jedi Temple on the planet Ilum. Once Offee has her light saber complete, both of these Jedi Knights sense a disturbance in the Force which turns out to be a gaggle of cloaking equipped, probe droid-like assassin droids bent on tearing down the temple and whoever may be inside. The two female Jedi put up a fierce resistance, but the Droids are too many. Unduli and Offee find themselves buried beneath a heaping pile of slag. Then, Master Yoda on a Naboo cruiser wakes from a deep mediation and says: "To Ilum we must go."
Chapter 15: After using some tricky old mind tricks on Captain Typho, Yoda "convinces" Senator Amidala that they must take a slight detour to Ilum to see what exactly is transpiring. Upon arrival, Yoda disembarks the ship in search of what it was that stirred his Jedi meditation. It doesn't take him long to be discovered by the invisible droids, but Yoda senses the droids despite their cloaking abilities. Yoda's on to them from the get go. Yoda quickly dispenses with the would-be assassins and upon entering the temple, finds a large pile of rocks which we all know have buried two of his promising disciples.
Chapter 16: Padme is worried about Yoda, so she leaves the ship and heads out into frigid Ilum with C-3PO and R2-D2 to find him. As they approach the cave, they tangle with Droid soldiers. Inside the cave, Yoda tries to free the trapped Jedi. The entire crew then must battle Droid forces as they return to Padme's ship.
Chapter 17: Anakin follows Ventress to Yavin 4. A contingent of clone troopers arrive but the troopers are systematically disposed of by Ventress. Anakin's ship is destroyed.
Chapter 18: Anakin and Asajj continue their hand-to-hand duel on Yavin 4. Ventress, an expert fighter who battles using two lightsabers at the same time, proves to be a formidable foe for the young Jedi.
Chapter 19: The battle between Asajj and Anakin becomes more intense. Anakin, filled with rage, attacks his foe, the Dark Jedi and ally of Count Dooku, mercilessly. Still, she is a crafty fighter with a few tricks of her own.
Chapter 20: Obi-Wan Kenobi celebrates a successful campaign on Muunilinst and the Army of the Republic has taken many prisoners. When Anakin returns from Yavin 4, the Jedi Master upbraids his charge for disobeying a direct order. Still, Obi-Wan is impressed with Anakin's bravery. Meanwhile, on a distant planet, a band of Jedi Knights faces a mysterious and powerful enemy. General Grievous (part man and part machine leader of the Separatist droid armies) also appears.
