Padme speaks in a warm and kind voice: "This is for my unborn child. If you are a girl, your name will be Leia. If you are a boy, your name will be Luke. I must tell you our future is uncertain because I'm now married to a Jedi called Anakin Skywalker. This relationship is forbidden by the Jedi. If they learn of us, your father's career as a Jedi may be ruined.

My feelings have told me that Anakin will become the greatest Jedi Master, who has ever lived. Hopefully, our marriage will remain hidden so that we can remain happy and together. You will be loved by both of us tremendously. We are anticipating your birth with much joy."

Leia hears these words and begins to cry. R2-D2 shuts down the transmission.
