Luke Skywalker feels the comforting presence of his mother, Padme Amidala, and Luke hears her words from the distant beyond.
Padme says to Luke: "Luke, my son, I'm your mother Padme, the wife of Anakin Skywalker. I call out to you from beyond the edge of reality itself. The forces of evil seek to resurrect Darth Vader by a horrific means, which is a harbinger of doom, and they also seek to make a monster in your own image to destroy civilization.
You will have to make a choice whether to face your destiny and destroy these malevolent clones or hope that there is some other way to avert the disaster that awaits each of you. Know that I will be with you and will always watch over you. My love goes with you even until the end."
Luke understands the importance of this message and tells his counterparts in the Jedi Council that the Dark Jedi have conceived a terrible conspiracy to make clones of Luke Skywalker himself and Darth Vader that threatens the entire galaxy. They must prepare for war.
