The Dark Jedi discover the hidden location of the Jedi holocrons inside the vault of Cloud City. Immediately, the Dark Jedi begin to retreat from Cloud City and utilize the jet packs on their backs to fly high into the sky. They enter the Dark Jedi star freighters waiting for them above Cloud City.

On Coruscant, the Dark Jedi attack has been reported to the Jedi Council. In his private apartment at the Jedi Temple, Jedi Master Luke Skywalker, who is the head of the Jedi Council, hears a voice in his mind providing him with important information.
