SS.com Exclusive: Today Lucas discusses Durge, what fans can do to guarantee future Star Wars projects and the production budgets of each Star Wars film. CLICK HERE to see the newest update from George Lucas, the creator of Star Wars.
What is the total time period in years between Star Wars Episode 4: A New Hope to Star Wars Episode 6: Return of the Jedi ? (SuperShadow: The entire classic trilogy takes place in less than five years.)
Dear "the great and noble SuperShadow." (SuperShadow: Don‘t forget the part about the greatest genius ever. Must never forget that.) I was just writing you to say that it would be awesome to have a Star Wars Jedi Fighting Game for Nintendo's Wii. (SuperShadow: Not gonna happen. Star Wars fighting video games ala Mortal Kombat never do well. LucasArts can‘t make a decent profit from such video games.) If you don’t know, the Wii is motion sensored so it would be awesome to use the controller as a light saber and you can possibly play Revenge of the Sith and movies like that! (SuperShadow: Yeah, I‘ll send your request to LucasArts. You need to check out their official web site to find out what kind of video games they have in development for the various video gaming consoles.)
Why doesn't Lucas get Joss Whedon involved in the Star Wars TV series? (SuperShadow: Is this some kind of joke? What has Whedon ever accomplished? Buffy the Vampire Slayer was a small, minor hit on an insignificant network that no longer exists. Firefly bombed big time. Lucas won‘t even return Whedon‘s phone calls.)
Why did Obi-Wan Kenobi in Episode 4 say Luke Skywalker’s father wanted Luke to have his light saber when Anakin never said that? Obi-Wan just left Anakin for dead at the end of Episode 3. (SuperShadow: I‘ve said this a million times so I‘ll say it again. Lucas is making this stuff up on the run without giving any deep thought. Lucas is a multi-billionaire of epic proportions who answers to no one. He could care less if the prequel trilogy contradicts the classic trilogy in numerous ways. Lucas thinks it‘s funny for the fans to take things so hyper seriously. It‘s just a low-budget film saga.)
Does Yoda have any brothers and who are they? (SuperShadow: Yes, three brothers. Verso, Drooks and Partisa.) Is Luke Skywalker a better fighter than Darth Sidious? (SuperShadow: No, not at all. The difference between Luke and Sidious is that Luke has the will of the Force on his side. So even though Sidious has superior light-saber skills and Force abilities, Sidious could never defeat Luke in a confrontation, no matter what the scenario might be.)
How do you get light sabers to get through stuff if someone designs them? (SuperShadow: Light sabers can penetrate most substances. That‘s why the Jedi decided to use light sabers instead of blasters when Kaja Sinis formed the Jedi Order. Notice that Grievous‘ henchmen had weapons that could block light saber blades in Revenge of the Sith. So it is possible to create something that a light saber cannot hack through.)
How did Anakin go from being 6 feet 7 inches to 6 feet 0 inches? Looks funny at the end of Return of the Jedi with Anakin being as short as Obi-Wan. (SuperShadow: Too funny to be believed. Again Lucas cares nothing about continuity or common sense. The technical explanation is that the cybernetic technology extended the length of Anakin‘s body significantly. You need to remember that Lucas wanted Vader to be extremely menacing. Lucas never thought that it would be impossible to find a 6 feet 7 inches actor to play Anakin in the prequels. In fact, Lucas thought that A New Hope was going to be a failure so the thought of making six Star Wars films seemed ludicrous back in the early 1970‘s when Lucas created Star Wars.)
Hey SS, quick, simple question: What planet in the Star Wars galaxy or known planet beyond the outer rim, most resembles Earth? (SuperShadow: Earth-type worlds are plentiful. There are thousands of planets in the Star Wars galaxy that are exactly like Earth in size and atmosphere.)
First I just want to say that this web site is flipping awesome. (SuperShadow: That‘s why we are the most successful.) It's the best Star Wars web site on the web. (SuperShadow: Nobody is close to SS.com.) And I think it's really cool how the fans have so much input with Star Wars. (SuperShadow: Before the rise of SS.com, the fans had absolutely no say in Star Wars. Now the fans control the very fate of the series in all forms.)
Anyways on with my question, I was reading the book "Dark Lord: The Rise of Darth Vader" by James Luceno and it says that when Vader was burned on Mustafar that his eardrums were melted, meaning he couldn't hear. So they gave Vader some type of artificial hearing system through the suit. My question is in Return of the Jedi, when Luke takes Anakin's mask off, Anakin seems to have no problem hearing Luke. If he could only hear through a device that is IN the mask, then how did Anakin hear Luke? Thanx, Shadow. You rock. (SuperShadow: I don‘t read any of the Star Wars books. Nothing in the novels is official. It doesn‘t matter what details are stated in the books because they do not represent the true vision of Lucas.)

Teach me how to be a great Jedi Master. (SuperShadow: Forget the Jedi Order. Existing as an important member of the Illuminati (The Enlightened Ones) is the most rewarding life imaginable. It is more addictive than the nectar of the technological gods.)
Hi Georgle Lucas, I am a huge Star Wars fan. (SuperShadow: Take another view.) Keep up with the good work. (SuperShadow: Back in 1997, there were dozens of Star Wars fan sites with domain names. Ten years later in 2007 and there are only a few left standing. SS.com proudly receives more unique daily visitors than all other Star Wars web sites combined.)
I have one question the fight between Qui-Gon Jinn and Darth Maul. When Obi-Wan falls down after being hit by Darth Maul, when they get in to the laser beams, I wonder why does Qui-Gon start to meditate? I would like to know. Thanks for answering. (SuperShadow: Qui-Gon has been completely exhausted by Maul. Qui-Gon is trying to regain the advantage over Maul be extracting power from the Force by concentrating intensely. It didn't work needless to say. Hahaha.)
|
Yo SS, what's up, man? (SuperShadow: Endlessly inspiring the world with my genius.) Can you tell me some info on "The Lost 20 Jedi" and what other Jedi were involved other then Count Dooku in them being lost? I can't find the answer anywhere. Thanks, man. (SuperShadow: Lucas says that the Lost 20 Jedi do not exist. This idea was dropped from Attack of the Clones and never implemented as factual Star Wars history.)
Idea for Indiana Jones 4: Indy, on an archaeological trip, discovers the kyber crystal that Darth Sidious used, becomes a Sith, and conquers the Milky Way Galaxy. (SuperShadow: Sweetness personified. This idea totally rages. This one will definately be forwarded to Lucas. He will be amazed.)
|
Will you bring General Grievous back in the new films? In the animated series, Obi-Wan blows him up and Grievous comes back as a robot. Could you replace the alien parts with other alien parts? (SuperShadow: General Grievous will have a prominent role in the computer-animated Star Wars TV show that will debut on TV in late 2008. This TV series is set during the Clone Wars in between Episode 2 and 3. It should be noted that Grievous will have no role in the live-action Star Wars TV show since that one is set after Revenge of the Sith.)
Hey GL. I have one question regarding Darth Vader in Episode 3 when 3 of his limbs are cut off. 'What inspired you or what made you want to put Anakin/Vader through so much pain?' (SuperShadow: Lucas has always planned to dismember Anakin in the most gruesome manner imaginable. It provides the necessary wrath for the Vader character.) I have pictured everything in my head right up to when Anakin turns good again and perishes. And you've put Anakin through a lot of difficulties. Anakin is, by far, my favourite character. (SuperShadow: Fans love Anakin.) I think Hayden Christensen did a fantastic acting job. (SuperShadow: We all agree.)
Oh two more questions: 'In what time frame will the TV shows be set?' (SuperShadow: Refer to the above question.) 'And will Hayden Christensen and/or Natalie Portman being playing a role in movies Episode 7, 8 & 9 or the Star Wars TV shows?' (SuperShadow: Nat will have no further involvement with Star Wars. Hayden might provide voice talent for the computer-animated Star Wars TV series.) They are so talented and have brought so much to the movies. May the Force be with you. (SuperShadow: SS controls the Force for all time.)

I'm confused about this message thing. How do people get your reply back from saying something? Do you MSN people because I'm confused about that if you don't know the person's name or address thingy? (SuperShadow: There are no personal replies. The submissions at SS.com are completely anonymous. The best ideas, sent in each day, are forwarded to Lucas. Many of your ideas will end up in future Star Wars projects. Such is the almighty power of SS.)
May 2007 is the 30th year anniversary of the release of Star Wars Episode 4 - A New Hope and the 10 year anniversary of the release of the re-mastered original Holy Trilogy. (SuperShadow: Real fans refer to the first trilogy as the classic trilogy.) Any chance these movies will be released in the theatres this spring? (SuperShadow: No chance. Not even a little.)
There is nothing, absolutely nothing, as awesome as seeing the original trilogy on the big screen in a theatre full of fans. (SuperShadow: Agreed. However, the fans have been satiated regarding the Star Wars experience with the DVD release of all the Star Wars movies. There is no demand whatsoever by the fans to see the classics and the prequels on the big screen again. To rip off the loyal fans again, Lucas is going to have to create 3D versions of Star Wars in the same vein as James Cameron's Avatar. Don't worry Lucas will find many new ways to take your money. Hahaha.)

Hey SS. What is the name of the planet the shield generator was on in Episode 6 Return of the Jedi? Some refer to it as the Forest Moon of Endor implying the planet is Endor and the Forest Moon has no name. The Emperor calls it the Sanctuary Moon. Some just call it Endor. What is its name? It has been a long debate at work. Please, please post this. Thanks. (SuperShadow: Lucas says the Endor Moon's official name is Noticus 3.)
I was watching Return of the Jedi the other day and I see the part where Luke Skywalker kills the Rancor and afterwords, as the gate opens and people start to take Luke away, a fat, shirtless man runs into the area, looks at the now deceased Rancor and starts crying? What's the story behind that? (SuperShadow: That guy is known as the Rancor Keeper. His name is Malaki. He took care of the Rancor for Jabba the Hutt. The Rancor was his best friend.) Thanks, love the site. (SuperShadow: It's so boss having the # 1 Star Wars web site of all time.)
|
If Darth Maul can become a Sith spirit, then he is a Force ghost. Is it true or false? (SuperShadow: Officially, Sith cannot come back as ghosts because they enjoy no afterlife. However, to please the fans, Lucas is allowing Maul to appear as a Sith spirit in Episode 7 to 9. This is a clever trick to enhance the box-office potential of the next trilogy.) And I think Maul can defeat his master Sidious. Is it true or false? If it's false, how can Sidious defeat Maul? (SuperShadow: It's an absurd argument to say that Maul can beat Sidious in a fight. Remember that Maul was defeated by a padawan called Obi-Wan. If Maul couldn't beat Obi-Wan, he would have absolutely no chance against the master of the dark side.) Thank you for answering my questions. (SuperShadow: My pleasure.)
Does Chewbacca perish? (SuperShadow: Chewie perished in the Star Wars novels because you don't have any dramatic tension if primary characters are invincible. It should be noted that Lucas believes Chewie is still alive because Chewie will have a large role in the forthcoming Star Wars Sequel Trilogy.)
|
Hey SS. I have one question. When GL releases the 6 Star Wars movies in a DVD box set, will Yoda be fixed up in Episode 1? (SuperShadow: No, never. Lucas is extremely fond of the muppet Yoda and says he will not replace any of the muppet Yoda with computer animation. This includes all the Yoda footage from The Phantom Menace and the classic trilogy.) That puppet is the biggest let down (maybe Jar Jar Binks) in all 6 movies. Cheers. (SuperShadow: Yeah, digital animation is the greatest thing to happen to film special effects. We must remember that in the old days they didn't have this Heavenly technology at their disposal.)
Hey SS. What's Force insanity? (SuperShadow: Force insanity is a powerful Force technique that allows a Force user to make a weak-minded opponent act crazy for a short duration of time.) And where is your site graphics? (SuperShadow: The only Star Wars pictures we have are ones dedicated to Princess Leia's awesome bikini and Revenge of the Sith. You can find links to these two web pages on the front, main page of SS.com.)
|
I have an idea for the Star Wars TV show. Maybe Vader could find an old video of him and Padme, watch it and while Vader does have sad music and the line about the angel Anakin says in Episode 1. Thanks. (SuperShadow: Great idea, but not gonna happen. Vader will have no role in the live-action Star Wars TV show.)
What's up, man? How things going? (SuperShadow: There is one thing that has always been true. It will be true forever.) I love the SS web site and I have a simple question. For the light-saber battles, what is the style based off of? Like what martial art? (SuperShadow: Various forms of Western and Eastern sword fighting make up what we see in the Star Wars movies.) Please answer my question if possible and thanks again. (SuperShadow: Hear our blood roar as we role a lucky se7en.)
|
Hey SS, what's up? (SuperShadow: Can't complain.) I've heard Lucas was planning a completely new post production on the first trilogy. Is this true? (SuperShadow: That idea has been shelved. Lucas will continue to make minor changes to the classic trilogy, but nothing substantial like entirely new special effects will ever be done. Lucas is too cheap to spend that kind of money on the classics.)
Hey S.S., how you doing? (SuperShadow: Ahead of the curve so to speak.) I have some questions for ya. Can you please answer them? (SuperShadow: Sure. Why not? Hahaha.) Does Dooku plan on betraying his Master? (SuperShadow: Yeah, it's kinda an inside joke, but all Sith conspire to destroy each other. The entire reason for the rule of only two Sith is because of that deception.) Is it possible that Palpatine let Mace Windu take control of their fight, so that Anakin had to pick one side? (SuperShadow: Not plausible. Sidious can't see the future so he couldn't risk his life in that way. Windu had Sidious beat until Anakin intervened.)
Was Anakin a Jedi Knight or a Padawan during Episode 3? (SuperShadow: You need to re-watch Revenge of the Sith. The whole reason Anakin was angry at the Jedi was because they wouldn't make him a Jedi Master. So it is safely assumed Anakin was a full-fledged Jedi at the beginning of Revenge of the Sith.) Is George Lucas a Jedi? (SuperShadow: No reality exists where Lucas could be a Jedi. Hahaha.)
|
Hey your Amazingness, (SuperShadow: Is that the best you can come up with? SS is beyond anything you can imagine.) I have some questions for ya. (SuperShadow: That's my job. The sole reason I am the only famous Star Wars fan on the planet. Hahaha.) Who would win in a battle: Anakin Skywalker or Darth Maul? (SuperShadow: Hmmm. Anakin, probably.) Then who would win: The winner of the previous fight or Yoda? (SuperShadow: Yoda, but it's difficult to say really.)
Then who would win: The previous winner or Mace Windu? (SuperShadow: This is a real toss up. Yoda and Windu are practically equals.) Then who: The previous winner or Darth Sidious? (SuperShadow: Sidious, with extreme ease.) Then who: Previous winner or Luke Skywalker? (SuperShadow: No one can defeat Luke. He is invincible as much as a mortal can be.) And finally, then who: The previous winner or Obi-Wan Kenobi? (SuperShadow: Obi-Wan would stand absolutely no chance against Luke.) Please post! Thanks. (SuperShadow: Just doing my solemn duty.)
Hey S.S. You guys are the best. (SuperShadow: Sadly, there is no close second. Hahaha.) Question about the Siths' rule of two. In Return of the Jedi, Sidious and Vader openly discuss bringing Luke Skywalker in as their ally.
Did Vader not have knowledge of the rule or was he just confident that he and Luke could overthrow Sidious? (SuperShadow: This is an unfair question. Lucas is making this stuff up with no thought as to the big picture. When Lucas created the classic trilogy, the Sith rule of two did not exist. The reason Lucas came up with this idea is because he had to explain why the entire Star Wars galaxy only had two Sith during the classics. Lucas has told me that he would have included additional Sith in the classic trilogy if he had known Star Wars was going to become so popular. You need to remember that the success of Star Wars stunned Lucas beyond all comprehension. To this day, Lucas pinches himself thinking that all this good fortune must be an illusory dream. Hahaha.)
Been bugging me for awhile. (SuperShadow: We have to accept the fact that Star Wars has a countless number of factual errors. It would take an extraterrestrial mega computer to compile all the mistakes. Perhaps, not even the Miraders have the kind of heavy-duty technology necessary to tackle such a daunting and monumental task. Hahaha.) Please post and thank you so much. (SuperShadow: Being SS is the greatest honor any Human can have.)
|
I think Lucas should do a movie to tell the story of Darth Vader destroying the left over Jedi, his Sith training and his rise in the Empire. The movie should be called: RISE OF DARTH VADER (Power of the Dark Side). (SuperShadow: This movie will never happen. Instead, LucasArts is creating a video game where you act as Vader's secret apprentice and hunt down the remaining Jedi Knights after Revenge of the Sith. This video game is called The Force Unleashed.) Also it can show how Obi-Wan finds out that Vader didn't perish on Mustafar.
Plus it can show Obi-Wan talking to Qui-Gon Jinn. Plus in an updated version of Return of the Jedi at the end, you can have Yoda telling Luke Skywalker: "With the Sith now defeated, more training I have for you, Master Skywalker." A confused look on Luke's face, then appears through the ghost of Anakin, Yoda and Obi-Wan: MACE WINDU! (SuperShadow: Pure perfection. This idea will be given to Lucas instantly.)
I just read the Indiana Jones 4 Exclusive and I would just like to say please, please, please convince Lucas/Spielberg to not use a digitally-animated Indiana Jones. (SuperShadow: Harrison Ford is way too old to do the stunts himself. A computer-generated Indiana Jones is required.) I don't think it's right for the franchise since none of the others had CGI in them. (SuperShadow: All of the Indiana Jones movies had special effects. Perhaps not the modern computer animation, but still it's the same thing.) I mean that's just my opinion, in the end, it's Lucas' decision. (SuperShadow: SS is the one who really decides these things.)
You don't acknowledge the Expanded Universe, but Ben Skywalker is in the Episode 7 script? How come? Thanks. (SuperShadow: The SS UNC Tar Heels demoli-crushed the Lucas USC Trojans. Next up is the Georgetown Hoyas from Washington D.C., where the FBI headquarters is located. By the way, Lucas wanted Ben Skywalker in Episode 7. Lucas created Ben, not the expanded-universe writers.)
You once posted saying that there was gonna be a STAR WARS EPISODE 4 EDITION, which shows Alderaan getting destroyed, the impact of the explosion and INTERIOR shots, etc. Whatever happened to that? It never came out on DVD. (SuperShadow: Lucas is too busy with Indiana Jones 4 and the Star Wars TV shows to make serious changes to the classic trilogy. It will be about twenty to twenty five years before Lucas makes the Alderaan additions to A New Hope.)
|
I had known for almost 20 years that Anakin's injuries were from a lava planet. (SuperShadow: As did we all. Only SS knew that the planet was named Mustafar.) Where could I possibly have read this? (SuperShadow: The first mention of Anakin's catastrophic injuries, suffered at the hands of Obi-Wan, was the 1983 novelization of Return of the Jedi.) Was it rumour back then or possibly a Star Wars novel? (SuperShadow: Exactly. An old, old novel.)
Hey Shadow. Quick contribution for your thoughts. In the later and upcoming Star Wars TV series (the one with live-action roles), could you possibly add Qui-Gon Jinn as sort of a cameo appearence once in awhile? (SuperShadow: Bank on it. SS will make this happen.) Now that may seem odd since you plan to try not to include Obi-Wan and Vader and all those main characters, but since Qui-Gon is a Jedi ghost and is literally one with the Force now, couldn't he appear to the characters anyway? (SuperShadow: I agree. Qui-Gon could commune with secondary Star Wars characters we're not familiar with yet.)
Since the TV series will show stories about characters from the old movies and the stories of characters from the later movies and since Qui-Gon is apart of the Force, couldn't he act as a guide? (SuperShadow: This is a stunningly ingenious idea.) So everyone needed to re-align the Force and destroy the Sith. Does exactly what they are suppose to do in order for fate to take the right course? (SuperShadow: This is accurate.) Just a small little thought. Thanx for your time. (SuperShadow: Your idea will be forwarded to Lucas.)
|
I don't think Jedi spirits should be fighting in the upcoming episodes. (SuperShadow: Speaking of fighting. The SS UNC Tar Heels battle the Lucas USC Trojans in the NCAA Basketball Tournament. Guess who's gonna win? Hahaha.) My thought is if they could fight, then why didn't Obi-Wan help Luke Skywalker in Episode 5 and Yoda in Episode 6? (SuperShadow: Excellent point.)
I'm really glad to hear Mace Windu didn't perish because I told my son he could have lived because Anakin fell through the air to catch that speeder ship in Episode 2 so Mace could have done the same thing. Thank you. (SuperShadow: It is Lucas' vision for Windu to survive Revenge of the Sith. It's official that Windu will have a role in Episode 7, 8 and/or 9.)
In Attack of the Clones, when Dooku pulled the column off the wall to crush Obi-Wan and Anakin, wouldn't it have been easier for Yoda just to pull Obi-Wan and Anakin out of the way, rather than redirect the column? (SuperShadow: Yoda had to react in a split second. There was no time for complicated machinations.) And why didn't Obi-Wan and Anakin just do it themselves? They were still conscious. (SuperShadow: They were in shock to say the least.)
Anyway, it shouldn't have taken Yoda any more effort to move the column than it did the smaller objects that Dooku had thrown at Yoda. Remember in The Empire Strikes Back, when Yoda was critical of Luke for distinguishing moving rocks versus his X-wing fighter. (SuperShadow: Again you have found yet another plot error in Star Wars. For Lucas, the nightmare never ends as it should be. Hahaha.) Yoda said that it was no different, just different in his mind. (SuperShadow: Lucas forgets these things. You need to remember that he doesn't watch the Star Wars movies in his spare time. Lucas wants little to do with Star Wars outside of counting the cash it brings in to Lucasfilm.)
|
Hello SuperShadow! I was just reading the plot synopsis for Episode 7, 8 and 9. (SuperShadow: The greatest of all the Star Wars trilogies.) It was VERY interesting. (SuperShadow: Best of the best.) I also researched your Midichlorian List. Luke Skywalker is listed at 14,500. Now in the Episode 7 or 8 script, Luke plans on going to Mon Calimari in search of Kyber Crystals. What will this make his midichlorian count? (SuperShadow: Luke is not trying to obtain the kyber crystals for himself. Anyone, who possesses the kyber crystals, becomes extremely evil and totally dedicated to the dark side. Luke wants to get the kyber crystals so that the Dark Jedi will not be able to make themselves ultra powerful. By the way, when you wear one of the kyber crystals around your neck, the crystal boosts your midichlorian count by about 7,000.)
How about a new scene in Episode 3? Anakin and Sidious visit Padme when she is sleeping after the attack on the Jedi Temple. They use Sith powers to cause her not to perish in child birth. (SuperShadow: Awful idea.) (She later learns this and is upset that nature has been tampered with.) (SuperShadow: Very corny. That is not a genius-level idea we expect here at SS.com.) It is then Anakin's throttle that causes her pain on Mustafar contrary to the end of Episode 3 Padme lives secretly on Tatooine as Organa's hand maiden for a few years and Keira Knightley's deceased character replaces Padme in the funeral on Naboo. (SuperShadow: This is terrible beyond belief. Is this real?)
Also Obi-Wan approaches Vader on route to The Devastator in two escape pods and suggests they go into hiding together before Obi-Wan goes to Tatooine. (SuperShadow: This makes me ill. Can it get any worse?) (This explains Leia's scene in Episode 6. Leia's mother perished when she was very young and Vader saying to Luke that Obi-Wan once thought as you do. Jedi John. (SuperShadow: You're not even trying to be inventive. Lucas thinks your ideas would ruin Star Wars. Thanks for nothing.)
Hi SuperShadow, I was wondering if George Lucas had any ideas or preferences when it came to Blu-Ray or HD-DVD? (SuperShadow: Lucas has no interest in such things.) I personally think that Blu-Ray would be perfect for all of the movies on High Definition. Could you perhaps forward www.*******.com to him so that he could see the progress of Blu-Ray and why it would be so beneficial to his movies? (SuperShadow: Lucas rarely uses the Internet. You bore him to tears.)
Just read the INDIANA JONES 4 summary. (SuperShadow: SS.com is the only place that Lucas will allow to post plot spoilers about Indiana Jones 4.) I know it's not the entire script, but it sounds VERY familiar to the previous three Indiana Jones movies. It took them 10 years to copy the last 3 movies? (SuperShadow: Where have you been? SS revealed many years ago that Lucas uses a strict plot formula to create all his blockbuster films. Lucas is never original. Episodes 1 - 6 are basically the same Star Wars movie done over and over again. Same with the four Indiana Jones movies. Lucas is very, very superstitious. He rarely, if ever, deviates from his plot formula. When Lucas does use a new idea, Lucas prefers to rip off other people's ideas like Herbert, Tolkien and McKean. Lucas has amassed countless billions of dollars by stealing from other science-fiction writers.)

Hey SS. Great site, props to you. (SuperShadow: SS rulz all for eternity.) (Say "hi" to the folks in Ontario). (SuperShadow: Canada is killer cool.) First Q: What's with the new pics at the top of the site? (SuperShadow: Those awesome SS banners totally dominate.) Second: At the end of Return of the Jedi, Anakin is wearing the light-brown Jedi attire and has no mechanical hand. (SuperShadow: That was done on purpose by Lucas.) Shouldn't Anakin be wearing the black outfit he had in Episode 3 and have the black glove on?
I know that when you perish and come back as a spirit, you are like you were right before you left the light (or good, whatever you wanna call it) side. (SuperShadow: Not exactly true. As a Jedi ghost, Anakin appears in his most perfect Jedi form. Anakin is NOT literally the same person he was at the end of Revenge of the Sith before his fall to the dark side.) I was just wonderin' about that. (SuperShadow: It's a fantastic question. One that I haven't come across before too often.) Peace and send my regards to Lucas. These movies rock! (SuperShadow: Star Wars is a special kind of genius. Lucas loves receiving compliments from the fans.)
Hey SS. How can one get in touch with LucasBooks with a Star Wars book that I'm currently writing? (SuperShadow: You can't. LucasBooks laughs at the fans who "write" fan fiction. The average Star Wars fan fic is so horrible that they will NEVER consider signing the fans to write Star Wars stories. You have no chance of ever getting your book published by LucasBooks.) I have been working on it for some years now and I am almost done writing it. (SuperShadow: You're wasting your life. Nobody will read your book.) Please post this. It would mean the entire universe if you would. A.B. (SuperShadow: You might want to spend your future more productively.)
Why did Obi-Wan and Yoda's bodies disappear after they perished? Qui-Gon Jinn and many other Jedi did not vanish. (SuperShadow: This is one of the worst plot blunders of Star Wars. Lucas is making this stuff up with no thought about the repercussians. Lucas just counts the money. He could care less if it makes any sense. A technical answer to your question is that Qui-Gon and the prequel-era Jedi did NOT know the secret of vanishing at the end of one's life. This was a Force technique discovered by Qui-Gon in the afterlife. Subsequently, Qui-Gon taught this knowledge to Obi-Wan and Yoda after Revenge of the Sith.)
Hey Supes, 2 things. Are they ever going to revive the X-wing video game series on the PC? (SuperShadow: Very doubtful. LucasArts ran that franchise into the ground so badly that it left a permanent foul stench in the air. Nobody would buy new X-Wing video games if they made them. LucasArts is ruled by the bottom line. They only make Star Wars video games that their research convinces them will sell in the millions of copies.) That was one of the best Star Wars video games ever. (SuperShadow: It was fun.)
Also, Lucas said he wanted to wait a long time in the High-Def DVD arena for Star Wars until he knows which version will win, right? (SuperShadow: Hahaha. Absolutely false. Lucasfilm only releases the Star Wars movies in digital video formats that have fully matured as a market. The reason it took so long for Star Wars to hit VHS and DVD was because greedy Lucas waited until both formats had maxed out in numbers of people owning the VHS and DVD machines. It will be at least ten years before you see the six Star Wars films on the new high-def formats.)
Why not put them out on both versions and let the chumps who chose wrong buy them again on the other version when their version goes obsolete? (SuperShadow: Your idea is not economically feasible because nobody owns the new formats be it either Blu-Ray or High-Def. Lucas will wait and wait until he finally releases the Star Wars movies on a new digital platform. You'll be dating super models before what you suggest happens. In other words: No chance. Hahaha.) He makes twice as much money! (SuperShadow: Not enough money. Lucasfilm is all about maximizing profits to the detriment of the fans. Your opinion on this subject is beyond meaningless.) Keep scoring! (SuperShadow: Heaven is on Earth for SS.)

Hey SuperShadow, first I must say you guys rock! (SuperShadow: The happiest days of our lives. Hahaha.) Allowing the fans all this great info and being able to voice their opinions and even ask the one and only 'George Lucas' a question is awesome. (SuperShadow: It all depends on SS. We owe him everything and more.)
But my question to you guys is not an every day 'run of the mill' Star Wars question. It's actually quite a serious one. Here it is:
I've recently finished writing an amazing story for a character that I created called 'Owen Sun.' (SuperShadow: Simply irresistible.) In a nutshell, he's a very unique Jedi whose life story I wrote from his birth to his end. His life story follows along the lines of the first three movies, that is Episode I through III, not getting in the way of the plot at all only adding to it. (SuperShadow: That's a fantastic idea.)
The question I ask is I noticed a while back you guys were asking for character names for the Star Wars TV series and even the sequel movies starting back up in 2015, so it's a simple question I pose. Can I at all submit my character's story to you and allow SuperShadow and George Lucas to gadge whether or not you'll use my character in any way? (SuperShadow: Yeah, of course. The fans literally built the prequel trilogy, but remember Lucas offers absolutely no kind of pay or wage.) His story is quite amazing and his character is 'one of a kind.' I guarantee it's a read you won't regret. So get back to me via the web site or email me at *******@hotmail.com, if you wish. (SuperShadow: We're waiting for ya.)
I'll print out my story and send you guys a copy to read or e-mail it to you. Trust me, the feedback I've received from several publishers tells me I've got a winner of a story and character on my hands. (SuperShadow: Then why do you need us? Go for it.) I look forward to seeing Owen used by you guys in any way possible. I'm quite serious about this so please get back to me as soon as you're able. I assure you you won't be disappointed, ***** from Canada. (SuperShadow: SS.com solely exists to help the fans get their ideas directly to Lucas.)
Your girlfriend's hot. (SuperShadow: SS dates only super models.) Nice page just for her. (SuperShadow: Bank on it.) SuperShadow, when it comes to your web page, you may want to consider cutting the excess fat. (SuperShadow: Never. The mere suggestion is heretical. Hahaha.) Example, on your Navigator section for the main page at SS.com, you have a long column which lists Episodes 1 - 3 scripts. Why don't you try just one link that says Prequel Scripts and then link it to a page that lists the script drafts? (SuperShadow: That's not very convenient. People want the scripts to be as accessible as can be.) It may clean up some of the clutter. How do you feel about this suggestion? Hmm? (SuperShadow: Passing on this one.)
What's up with Yoda? I want his back story. Yoda is the most interesting Jedi of all time. What adventures did he have his whole life? He was pretty old. (SuperShadow: Lucas promises that the history of Yoda will be explored in the upcoming Star Wars TV shows. Expect greatness as usual. SS can do no wrong in the eyes of Lucas.)

Hey SuperShadow! I'm new to this web site and WOW I love it! (SuperShadow: It is hard to believe that one person is responsible for all the mind-bending genius of SS.com.) Been a Star Wars fan since I was old enough to comprehend TV! (SuperShadow: Countless millions of fans share your sentiments.) I have a question: how come Darth Sidious had such a harder time fighting Master Mace Windu then Yoda, since Yoda is supposed to be stronger then Windu? (SuperShadow: Well, we need to understand that Windu is not much more weaker than Yoda. They're practically equal in strength. It's like comparing the powers of Ra vs. Zeus. Both Windu and Yoda are so massively strong in the Force that there is practically no difference between the two. To be fair, neither Windu nor Yoda had it easy against Sidious.)

What's up, Supes?! (SuperShadow: It's astounding. Time is fleeting.) Awesome work with the site, yo. (SuperShadow: We always satisfy. Hahaha.) I'm very into light-saber fighting and I was just wondering if you are a good swordsman? (SuperShadow: SS was a fencing champion in college.) And I also have to say I adore the poster of Episode 7 and I've got one question. Is that guy on the left Dustin Hoffman from Steven Spielberg's work Hook? (SuperShadow: Hey genius (deep, deep sarcasm), there is no Episode 7 poster.)
That would so kick ***, man! (SuperShadow: Hoffman? Hahaha.) I collect Darth Maul stuff by the way and as a huge fan of him (I won't become a Sith), I have to say: Wouldn't it be awesome if he appeared again in Episode 7 or 8? THANX FOR AN AWESOME SITE! (SuperShadow: Darth Maul appears as a Sith spirit during the sequel trilogy. For the only time in your life, you get your wish. Hahaha.)
HELLO? Can you hear me? (SuperShadow: It's cold outside. There's no kind of atmosphere.) I was thinking how cool it would be if Episodes 7 and 8 began in space like the rest. Episode 7 could begin with Shindor plotting the attack on Cloud City and Episode 8 with the Republic vs. Mandalorian battle, like Episode 3? (SuperShadow: Your ideas will be sent to Lucas.) I would be drooling if you posted this. (SuperShadow: Doctor Who is pretty killer cool.) Please help another Star Wars addict in distress and TALK TO ME! (SuperShadow: Rage on.)
Hey SuperShadow. How are ya? (SuperShadow: Owning life by the horns. Hahaha.) I have a quick couple of questions for you. Think you can do it? What am I thinking? (SuperShadow: You're probably doing the only kind of simple thinking you're capable of. Hahaha.)
1. In the new movies (Episode 7 - 9), are there going to be any new vehicles or planets? (SuperShadow: Yeah, we have to create new things to sell tons of Star Wars collectibles and assorted merchandise.) 2. Will this be before or after the Yuuzhan Vong invasion? (SuperShadow: What on Earth are you talking about? Nobody has ever heard of the Yuzak Fuzz. They don't exist.)
Because that would determine if Chewie and Anakin are in it! (SuperShadow: You live in a fantasy world that is NOT real. Get back to reality!) 3. Will the Dark Jedi have any special colored light sabers? (SuperShadow: Yep, that's an affirmative response.) I think that would be pretty cool if they had like blood red or some deep and dark color even like black. Thanks in advance! (SuperShadow: The Dark Jedi possess every possible color of light-saber blade.)
Shadow, dude, 2 words: NEW GIRLFRIEND. You're still awesome though. (SuperShadow: You will unfortunately find that in life your opinion will always be extremely meaningless. Nobody cares what you think. You're not the almighty SS.)

How could Star Wars be in a galaxy far, far away and a long time ago when they constantly say things like go to **** when Christianity was made 2,000 years ago? (SuperShadow: Hahaha. Totally hilarious. I guess Lucas wanted to convey something that would make sense to us even though you are technically right. Few things about Star Wars make sense. Lucas basically made it up all on the fly with little thought, which is why there are literally hundreds upon hundreds of plot mistakes.)
Lucas, why will it take so long for Episode Seven because when I get older I'm afraid I'm going to grow out of it? (SuperShadow: Hahaha. I know what you mean. You need to remember that Star Wars is designed to entertain children. So Lucas doesn't really care what you do when you're an adult. Star Wars is NOT intended for you in your old age.)
What are the main colour markings on Anakin's Jedi star fighter? (SuperShadow: Those are the war insignia of the ancient Jedi Order, first used by Kaja Sinis (who was the first Jedi).)
How did Darth Plagueis learn about the ways of the Rodar Wizards before becoming a Sith lord? (SuperShadow: Sith holocrons contain the history of the entire Star Wars galaxy. These holocrons revealed to Sidious all the known information about the Rodar Wizards.) Did he know a Rodar Wizard who made him an apprentice for a short time? (SuperShadow: No, the Rodar existed about 500 million years prior to the events of The Phantom Menace. The Rodar are godlike extraterrestrials who disappeared suddenly. No one knows why they left. Most info about the Rodar is mythological in nature. It's difficult to find accurate data about the Rodar because they were so unfathomably enigmatic.)
|
S.S., in your opinion what's the best Star Wars video game? (SuperShadow: The ol' X-Wing vs. Tie Fighter dogfight simulation video games were the golden age for Star Wars in the video-game arena. It's been all down hill since then as declining sales of current Star Wars video games would attest to.) I would really appreciate a posted answer. (SuperShadow: It is my solemn duty to serve the Humans of Planet Earth until the day we are mercilessly subjugated by the immense might of the Mirader Empire.) I know a lot of people must be interested. Thank you. (SuperShadow: It really is tres cool to be the most envied Star Wars fan of all time. I totally deserve this role that has no end.)
Hey SS. I have an idea for a scene you can use in Episode 7, 8 or 9. (SuperShadow: Sounds alright to me.) I know that it is going to be about 10 years before anything starts on the new trilogy, but hey it's worth a shot. (SuperShadow: All of your ideas will be forwarded directly to Lucas.) Many people have been discussing the script errors with C-3PO in the original trilogy compared with the prequels. (SuperShadow: Who are these insane individuals? Hahaha.) I know that in Episode 3 his memory was supposed to be wiped clean and C-3PO isn't supposed to remember anything from the prequels.
I was thinking that a small scene could be incorporated to have C-3PO's memory restored by someone accessing a hidden memory backup file that works as a redundant system by accident as they were doing repairs or something. (SuperShadow: Pure genius.) Is it possible that Anakin built this into C-3PO and nobody knew about it? (SuperShadow: Highly likely. Anakin was very clever.) I know that you get TONS of ideas like this, but I had to pose this idea. (SuperShadow: You will be rewarded both here and in Heaven. Hahaha.) Please post this because I would like to hear your views on this. Thanks for the memories. (SuperShadow: SS makes all things possible.) Jacob from AZ. (SuperShadow: Phoenix rages big time. I score there often. Hahaha.)

I have a lot of great ideas and would like you to relay some of them to George. (SuperShadow: Will do. All my pleasure.) My name is Christopher Hathorne. I live in Maine and I am a part-time writer. I love Star Wars and I devote a lot of thought to the world. (SuperShadow: You're special.) Mace Windu's light saber is purple bladed, but there was never a really good explanation for it. (SuperShadow: Purple is Samuel L. Jackson's fave color.) The story should have went like this. Mace had a blue-bladed light saber, but when Mace finished all the Jedi Master levels he completed a Sith level of training. (SuperShadow: Not possible. None of the Jedi know the secret training methods of the Sith.)
This is why Mace is the second most powerful Jedi and when Mace completed the Sith training, Mace added a red crystal to his blue crystal, creating a purple blade and symbolizing his status and level as a Jedi Master, who has completed both dark and light side training and was able to retain his good Force status. I have a million ideas for the TV show next fall. (SuperShadow: The live-action Star Wars TV show is still a few years from airing. The Clone Wars computer-animated TV series is currently in production. No air date has been set for it either. Your ideas will be sent to Lucas.)
For goodness sakes, Shadow, print my post at least once will ya! (SuperShadow: No problem.) You never do! (SuperShadow: We get thousands of submissions per day so we're swamped.) Anyway, Obi-Wan says to Anakin in Episode 2: "If you practiced your saber skills as much as you do your wit, you'd rival Master Yoda as a swordsman!" I think this line makes it clear that Yoda was the best swordsman in the galaxy, not Mace! (SuperShadow: Excellent point.) Otherwise, Obi-Wan would have used Mace Windu's name in that line. (SuperShadow: I agree. I love your reasoning.)
I think that was a pretty clear line from Obi-Wan suggesting Anakin could become the best warrior! (SuperShadow: Anakin had plenty of potential to be the best Jedi ever.) Also end of the day, Mace Windu was a minor character. (SuperShadow: True to an extent.) Mace would never be in the end light-saber fight of a Star Wars film like Yoda was. (SuperShadow: Yoda is da man, er, I mean, the Whill. Hahaha.) So I doubt Lucas would make a minor character the best warrior in the galaxy, over the main characters like Yoda and Obi-Wan. (SuperShadow: Perfect analysis.) I mean let's face it. Mace was nothing more than Yoda's side kick during the prequels! (SuperShadow: Very witty. Hahaha.)

Hey SS, your site rocks. (SuperShadow: That's why we are the most visited Star Wars web site of all time.) It really is the best place for the fans to share ideas and comments! (SuperShadow: SS.com is the ONLY place where your opinion matters.) My question for you is in Episode 5 Vader comments: "the Force is with you, young Skywalker, but you are not a Jedi yet." To me this sounds like Vader knows the will of the Force is with Luke Skywalker definitely not with himself, Sidious or Yoda. (SuperShadow: Luke was a key catalyst in destroying the Sith. The will of the Force cannot be denied.) It all rests with Luke. I think Vader came to the conclusion that the only way for either the dark or light side of the Force to triumph, Luke would have to be on that side. (SuperShadow: That's a true statement.)
That's why Vader offered Luke out to the dark side. I think Vader was immersed in the dark side enough to kill Luke no matter the way he felt, as Vader knew that either Vader would have to side with Luke against the Emperor (light or dark) or with the Emperor against Luke. "He will join us or die, master." Vader decided his time to betray Sidious was now though his first choice was to do it with the dark side. Vader gave up the dark side to join Luke against the Emperor. Plz plz post, SS. (SuperShadow: Vader had no qualms following Sidious until Sidious threatened to end Luke's life. Vader was unwilling to sacrifice yet somebody else he loved to the dark side.)
Hello SS. Please do you have any info when Episode 7 will start filming? (SuperShadow: Tentatively, Episode 7 will begin filming sometime in 2017 with a May 2021 theatrical release date. Rejoice that day is at hand. Time flies you know.)
Why did they make General Grievous perish in Episode 3? (SuperShadow: Have you not listened to my preachings for the past 15 years? I revealed long ago that Lucas uses a strict plot formula when writing the Star Wars scripts. Check out the link dedicated to the Star Wars Plot Formula. After you read that page, you will realize why Grievous perished. All villains eventually perish in Star Wars. Lucas is an absolute slave to the Star Wars plot formula.)

Dear GL, 1. How powerful was Anakin Solo before his fateful end? (SuperShadow: Anakin Solo is not deceased according to Lucas' official vision of Star Wars. Anakin Solo will have a major role in Episodes 7, 8 and 9. Anakin Solo is about one fifth as powerful as Luke Skywalker.) 2. Does Anakin have more potential than his cousin Ben Skywalker? (SuperShadow: Not really. They are basically equal in Force potential.)
3. Is Anakin going to come back in the Legacy of the Force exile proving that he did in fact survive the bomb and that the body that everyone found was a clone of himself since they were at a cloning factory? (SuperShadow: Even though nobody reads the Star Wars novels, I still don't provide spoilers for the books. Each Star Wars novel sells about 15,000 copies. It would get even more dire if I gave away secrets on SuperShadow.com.)
4. If Anakin Solo does come back, does he become a Sith and fight both his Uncle Luke Skywalker and Cousin Ben? (SuperShadow: I doubt it. Anakin Solo had basically a pure heart.) 5. Does Anakin Solo hate his grandfather (Anakin Skywalker)? (SuperShadow: Not at all. Anakin Solo always thought it was killer cool to have the legendary Darth Vader as his grandpa.)
Since Sidious killed his master, does Sidious limit his time around Vader in fear the same will happen to him? (SuperShadow: Sidious is too arrogant to fear a cripple like Vader. Sidious has a massive, unlimited ego just like SS.) Like does Sidious not let Vader know where he is most of the time? (SuperShadow: Sidious never tells Vader where Sidious is going to be. Sidious keeps many secrets from Vader. However, Sidious requires Vader to give Sidious regular updates of what Vader is doing.)
Do they discuss how to run the Universe (SuperShadow: The evil Galactic Empire reigns over a single galaxy with 500 billion stars. The Universe is comprised of hundreds of billions of galaxies. Hence, Sidious and Vader certainly do NOT rule over the entire Universe. Remember that the Mirader Empire is the extraterrestrial super civilization that controls every single galaxy in existence. The Miraders are infinitely more powerful than Sidious and his puny Empire.) Face to face and Sidious also told Vader they'll learn new Force powers together. Did that ever happen? (SuperShadow: Yeah, Sidious taught Vader many new tricks like Force vanish and Force insanity.)
Hey Shadow, how's it scoring? (SuperShadow: Beyond belief. Where is Ripley when you need him? Hahaha.) I was just wondering who would win in a fight between a young Anakin (the one that was on Mustafar) and Luke Skywalker (from Return of the Jedi)? (SuperShadow: Luke would win by a hair.) That is when they were at their prime so it would be a good battle. (SuperShadow: I'd pay to see it.) It would be hard since Anakin is the chosen one and Luke is the most powerful Jedi and perhaps the heir of the chosen one. Thanks for answering. (SuperShadow: We're never alone.)
Do you think the CIS (Confederacy of Independent Systems of Count Dooku and General Grievous) is the best army in Star Wars? (SuperShadow: Is this a joke? The Republic clone army totally decimated the CIS army and the Jedi Order. The CIS are crap. Hahaha.)

Indiana Jones 4 Exclusive: It's time for an Indiana Jones 4 update. Filming begins in June 2007 for a theatrical release in May 2008. CLICK HERE to get a glimpse of what to expect from the Indiana Jones 4 script. Major spoiler warning!
Hey SS. Of course, I'm a fan of Star Wars. Just do me a quick favor: Give some props to the people in Maryland. (SuperShadow: Hats off to ya.) I know that GL is planning on doing Episodes 7, 8 and 9. However, we have heard Qui-Gon Jinn tell Obi-Wan that Obi-Wan has yet to pass the Jedi trials and Obi-Wan expresses that to Anakin. (SuperShadow: He's a leader is his field. Hahaha.) Is there anyway possible that in the next series of Star Wars movies that we may possibly see what it is that a Jedi has to go through during the Jedi trials that promotes him or her to Jedi Knight? (SuperShadow: This might happen. Your idea will be sent to Lucas with great haste.)
I think that this would help some of the fans understand what kind of discipline is involved. (SuperShadow: Point taken.) Maybe showing Ben Skywalker in the Jedi trials with Luke Skywalker watching on, of course without Luke's guidance. Even in Episodes 1 through 3, we saw Obi-Wan climb the ranks relatively quickly, but we never saw a Jedi go through the Jedi trials. Just food for thought. (SuperShadow: Obi-Wan was allowed to skip the Jedi trials because he proved himself worthy of being a Jedi Knight by destroying a Sith Lord. Lucas didn't have any extra screen time to show the Jedi trials during the prequel trilogy. Perhaps this issue could be explored in one of the upcoming Star Wars TV shows.)
I noticed in your list of the Most Powerful Jedi Knights of all time, Luke Skywalker is first, then Yoda. Why? (SuperShadow: Lucas wants things his way. The vision of Lucas has Luke Skywalker at the pinnacle of all Jedi.) I would think Anakin would be at the top, then maybe Yoda followed by Luke. (SuperShadow: Anakin succumbs to the dark side before reaching his full potential as a Jedi.) Or is this ranked in their skill level of the Force? (SuperShadow: The list is overall skills including light-saber abilities and Force powers.) Which doesn't seem to make much sense since Yoda knew more than Luke. (SuperShadow: You are being narrow minded. Luke learns much about the Force after Return of the Jedi.) You probably have already have been asked this numerous times. (SuperShadow: Travel in time like the Time Lords.)
Hey SS or GL! Have an important question. What is Lucasfilm doing right now? Can you update us on what kind of things you are working on for Star Wars? What keeps you so busy? (SuperShadow: Tons of stuff related to Star Wars is currently ongoing at Lucasfilm. LucasArts is working on many Star Wars themed video games. LucasBooks is working on more novels based in the Star Wars galaxy. Lucas Licensing is approving new Star Wars collectibles. ILM is working on the computer-generated Star Wars TV show set during the Clone Wars. Lucas is personally overseeing the production of Indiana Jones 4 as executive producer.) Please post this (with a cherry on top). Thank You! Score away SS. (SuperShadow: I can't keep from scoring. Thank you God with special gratitude related to the Mirader Empire.)

Are there any species in the Star Wars galaxy who look like eagles? (SuperShadow: Yeah, most certainly. There is a species called the Bloresis that resemble American eagles. They are sentient and very technologically advanced.)
Hey SS! Wasup!? (SuperShadow: This car is fast.) I have a question/comment. In The Empire Strikes Back, Vader’s exchange with the Emperor was changed (nothing new). Vader apparently knows nothing of his son. BUT, earlier in the film when the Rebel base on Hoth is found, Vader says: "The Rebels are there and Skywalker is with them!" So, what, is the name Skywalker as common as Smith? (SuperShadow: Very witty and an astute concern.) If not, Vader has to know Luke Skywalker is his son. Or was Vader pretending to be ignorant of Luke’s existence when talking to Palpatine? (SuperShadow: Vader hides his cards very carefully from Sidious. Vader doesn't want Sidious to figure out that Vader wants to betray Sidious by becoming the Sith master and making Luke Skywalker the Sith apprentice.)
I've been searching the web and the Star Wars books, but what is the actual cannonical stats for Vader's flag ship star destroyer, the Executor. (SuperShadow: Officially, Vader's personal star ship is over 3,000 feet in length. It is the crown jewel of the Imperial fleet.) Also, if you know of a good source for stats on Star Wars ships, that would be an immense help. (SuperShadow: You need to check out one of the Star Wars books dedicated to the star ships of Star Wars. You can find this source book at most major book sellers.) Just out of curiosity, is there a cannonical book for the stats, some of the books are vague or vary in the specs. Thanks. (SuperShadow: None of these books are based on the vision of Lucas. It's just made up by people who write the books. Lucas has no input in such matters, which is why the specs may vary from source to source.)
Hey SS, wuts up? (SuperShadow: They've been here for years friends of mine.) LOVE u'r work! (SuperShadow: All Star Wars fans idolize and adore SS.) One quick Q, if Yoda was more powerful than Mace Windu, why would Mace defeat Sidious when Yoda would not? (Yoda himself admits he has failed at the end of Revenge of the Sith). Please answer this. It's been eating at me since I first saw the movie. Thanx so much! (SuperShadow: There's not much diffence between the Force powers of Yoda and Windu. Yoda is just a little bit more powerful. In fairness to Yoda, Windu had Sidious cornered whereas Yoda didn't have the chance to get Sidious in a bad position. Also Yoda was outnumbered by the end of the duel with Sidious.)

Hey SS, I have an idea. (SuperShadow: Let there be rock. Hahaha.) How about when Luke Skywalker gets his hand back in Episode 7, Luke also gets his father's light saber. (SuperShadow: Tres cool idea. This will be sent to Lucas immediately.) It would still be blue bladed and maybe after the dark side is destroyed, Luke can give it to his son. (SuperShadow: That would be an extremely touching scene.)
First: How could Luke Skywalker ever be the best Jedi? (SuperShadow: So sayeth Lucas. The keeper of the secret keys of knowledge. Hahaha.) It is impossible in my opinion. (SuperShadow: Don't be consumed by your tiny I.Q. See things from the eyes of Lucas just for an instant.) Next, why do you continue the Star Wars saga in the sequel trilogy when Anakin is the chosen one, the one who destroys the Sith for once and for all? (SuperShadow: Does time end at the closing of Return of the Jedi? I don't think so. We need to tell the ultimate stories about the later days of the lives of Luke, Leia, Han and Lando.) Any Sith after Anakin's death would be non-canon due to Anakin being the chosen one. (SuperShadow: Lucas has stated many times that the Sith NEVER return after Return of the Jedi. The Dark Jedi are the primary villains of Episodes 7, 8 and 9. The Dark Jedi are NOT Sith.)
Are you ever going to make a Star Wars Episode 7? (SuperShadow: 10-4, good buddy. Pre-production on Episode 7 is officially scheduled to begin by 2015. Actually filming of the movie will take place around 2017 with a world-wide theatrical release in May 2021. We need about four years to complete the special effects of Episode 7 because it will be the most complex and spectacular film ever conceived. We will finally see the full genius of SS. Too bad none of you knows how to create a working time machine because the wait is gonna be killer. Hahaha.)
|
Dear Mr. Shadow, your site is so cool. (SuperShadow: Dominators are us. Hahaha.) Anyway I have two questions for you. (SuperShadow: Roll them bones.) (1) In Episode 6 (Luke Skywalker vs. Vader), when Vader throws his light saber at Luke and cuts down the walkway, I think it would be really cool if Anakin throws his light saber at Obi-Wan in Episode 3. (SuperShadow: Killer cool to the extreme. This idea will be forwarded to Lucas.) (2) In the new Episodes 7, 8 and 9, I think it would be really good if you design a new ship for Leia. (SuperShadow: Masterful idea.)
Bail Organa's Tantive IV (Blockade Runner) should be crossed with Padme's starship in Episodes 1, 2 or 3. (SuperShadow: Holy storm of Heaven. Pure genius.) I have designed a starship for Leia. If I can, I would really like to show you. Here's my e-mail: *****@yahoo.com.au. (SuperShadow: I look forward to hearing from ya. Thanks in advance.) It's cool if I can't send it. (SuperShadow: Flood the gates, my dear friend.) Thanks a big fan, Scott. P.S. keep up the good work. (SuperShadow: SS.com is forever just like the Mirader Empire.)
Hey S.S., representing the G.A. In your opinion, who is the strongest Jedi in the whole Star Wars universe? (SuperShadow: Luke Skywalker. Nobody else is even close. After all, Luke destroys the dark side for all time.) How about the strongest Sith Lord besides Darth Sidious? (SuperShadow: I'd have to say that Darth Rage was the second most powerful after Sidious. Vader would be a close third.)
I just thought of something, SS: What if Valorius' a cloning planet, which was created by the casualties of the Sith (or some other dark-sided people)? (Note: this idea's a lot easier than destroying the dark side of the Force.) (SuperShadow: Idea rejected. Episode 9 is always gonna end with the destruction of the dark side. Lucas will not hear any discussions about changing the nature of that planet.)
I love your web site. It is so freaking cool. (SuperShadow: We're the most visited Star Wars web site of any kind due solely to the mega-divine, super intelligence of SS.)
When is the Mirader Empire going to introduce themselves to the six billion people of Earth? (SuperShadow: Never. Official full disclosure is never going to happen. When a godlike extraterrestrial species reveals itself to a very primitive civilization like Earth, the primitive society's natural evolution is shattered. Lower life forms are unable to fathom the greatness of the Miraders.)
|
Will films of Episode 7, 8 and 9 be made? (SuperShadow: Yes, definitely without doubt. Lucas has officially given SS the legally enforceble right to produce Episode 7, 8 and 9.) I remember when I first saw Episode 4 in 1977, there was talk of 3 separate trilogies. (SuperShadow: That is correct.) Why has that talk stopped? (SuperShadow: Lucas is burned out making Star Wars movies. He invests ten years of his life everytime he makes a new trilogy. Lucas has decided to hand the job over to SS since SS achieved godlike results helping Lucas write the prequel scripts. Pre-production of Episode 7 is scheduled to begin by 2015.)
|
Hey S.S., how’s your day going? (SuperShadow: Controlling the fate of Mankind by my every action. Who else would you trust with your fate? Hahaha.) Ask'n the impossible here. (SuperShadow: Nothing is impossible, almost.) Think you could get me a date with Natalie Portman? (SuperShadow: Unfortunately, you have a better chance of becoming the leader of the Mirader Empire (the extraterrestrial uber civilization that rules the entire Universe) than even getting a glimpse at Nat. You'll never be within 100 miles of her. In contrast, SS scores at will at all times for all eternity. Something that you can't even dream about.) Your # 1 fan. (SuperShadow: The hottest super models in the world are my biggest fans. No hyperbole at all. Hahaha.)
|
Sup Homeboy? (SuperShadow: Just radicalizing the world for the Mirader Empire. Hahaha.) How's it hanging? (SuperShadow: We own the world.) Right so I was wondering, what's the deal with the language Jabba the Hutt speaks and is it possible to learn the language? (SuperShadow: Lucas did not create an entire Huttese language. Just enough words for the movie dialogue for Return of the Jedi. This ain't distilled crap like Star Trek.) If so give us a sentence, please! (SuperShadow: Give me a break, please. We're much too cool for that.) You'll make my day. (SuperShadow: That's what she said. Hahaha.) I'm a great fan of the web site. (SuperShadow: 200,000 plus SS addicts can't be wrong.) Keep up the great work, buddy. (SuperShadow: This has no end. Go celebrate your Heaven on Earth.)
|
George Lucas just announced his retirement from big-budget films, focusing solely on television. Does this mean Episodes 7 - 9 are out? Tell me it isn't so. (SuperShadow: The reason Lucas is getting out of the blockbuster motion picture business (at least temporarily) is because of financial risk. It costs over $ 175 million dollars to finance and promote films as big as Star Wars and Indiana Jones. Lucas doesn't believe any of the ideas he has left are worthy of such an investment. Hence, Lucas is now turning his time to making Star Wars for the television audience. TV shows are cheap to produce (compared to theatrical motion pictures) and reap huge awards through national and international syndication. However, Episode 7 is NOT deceased. It is just on the back shelf for now. Come 2015 and Lucas will be ready to invest a huge sum of money in Episode 7. With SS in complete control over the sequels, Lucas will earn untold billions from the unlimited genius of SS.)
|
Hey Supes, just a response to those people who call themselves Star Wars fans?! Sidious' face was disfigured because he was over exherting himself. (SuperShadow: Good call.) Mace Windu was much more powerful in holding off the Sith's attack thus pushing Sidious into overkill. It's like when you get stressed your hair goes grey! (SuperShadow: Ancient folks rule. Hahaha.)
This also proves a point that it was not a set up to lure Anakin Skywalker to the dark side in pretending to be beat. Why would you deliberately cause your self to be disfigured? (SuperShadow: I see your point.) Sidious was pretty confident he was going to kill Windu just as easily and quickly as he did the other 3 Jedi, but obviously underestimated Windu's mastery with the Force. (SuperShadow: Pure genius analysis.)
It is also said that Windu had a skill that bordered on the dark side of the Force with his light saber and perhaps this helped him. Any way, if he knew Skywalker was going to arrive to save him, he obviously did not know that he would arrive so late! You might also note that when Skywalker cut off Windu's hand Sidious was very quick to fire Force lightning at Windu again because he knew that Windu was too powerful and could quickly Force throw Skywalker away and escape if not finish Sidious off! Light saber or no light saber. There. I've said my piece. (SuperShadow: We can be like they are.)
|
You told someone that our equipment (i.e., technology) is millions of years behind Star Wars, then how come it's "a long time ago" even if it is a universe far, far a way. (SuperShadow: What I mean is that it would take us countless millions of years to develop the technological prowess seen in the Star Wars movies. It might have all taken place eons ago, but still their technology remains far beyond our grasp. We may never equal Star Wars because there is no guarantee that Human Earth civilization will last for millions of years.)
I think this is an awesome web site! Now that I know about Episode 7 - 9, I can't wait 'till they come out! (SuperShadow: Hang on, friend. You're in for a wonderful ride. The adventure continues forever at SS.com. Star Wars goes on for eternity.)
|
Someone posted the other day that Lucas should direct the 6th Harry Potter film. (SuperShadow: At the moment, Harry Potter is vastly more popular than Star Wars. Not even close.) Are you out of your mind? Lucas should have never directed any of the Star Wars prequels. (SuperShadow: Lucas is perhaps the most influential film maker of his generation. Thanks to SS the prequels are superb in every facet.) He's a terrible director and an even worse screen writer. (SuperShadow: What have you ever accomplished? Lucas has directed some of the most successful films of all time. Morever, he is worth billions and billions of dollars.)
That's not to say he's not a genuis for creating the Star Wars Universe. (SuperShadow: Always remember that Lucas did NOT create Star Wars. The extraterrestrials of the Mirader Empire created Star Wars hundreds of millions of years ago.) For that he's brilliant, but if Lucas never directs anything the rest of his life, I will not shed one tear. (SuperShadow: You must have a sad life that is quite delusional and unrealistic.)

You know what LucasArts needs to do. Make an open-ended game like "Morrowind" like when you start off as a kid and can become a bounty hunter or Jedi or something else. (SuperShadow: No one at LucasArts has the necessary brains to create a video game as complex as Morrowind.) (If you become a Jedi someone can discover your Force signature and send you to the Jedi Temple to train under Yoda or whoever) (SuperShadow: Mega-fantastic idea.) and you can, of course, decide to be good or bad or be an outlaw or try to take over the world. (SuperShadow: Conquest is killer cool. We should all aspire to be just like Genghis Kahn. Hahaha.)
I think this would generate unending cash for George Lucas. (SuperShadow: If Lucas could use this idea to steal even more cash from the fans, then obviously he would do it without thought. Unfortunately, Lucas pays the incompetents at LucasArts minimum wage so none of them knows how to engineer a great video game.) I know you have the online Star Wars video game, (SuperShadow: Nobody plays Star Wars Galaxies anymore.) but that's not really what I was thinking about. (SuperShadow: Your idea will be passed on to LucasArts. I doubt they will be able to comprehend my message being as dumb as they all are.)
Hello! Please respond! (SuperShadow: Settle down. The all-knowing one has heard your cries.) Why is it so hard for anyone to admit that by recognizing that Mace Windu defeated Sidious and that Windu probably was the greatest Jedi warrior (even though Yoda was more powerful). They give more substance to the Sidious and Vader characters. It shows how important the manipulative powers of Sidious are (which are more apparent in the original trilogy than his ability with the Force or a light saber) and it makes Vader's betrayel of the Jedi more dramatic. Thanks, rock on. (SuperShadow: Sweet kidneys of temptation. You have given us something to ponder for days.)

I hate your ideas to change the versions of the classic trilogy. Will burn my Star Wars stuff and I hate the trilogy never before seen, even I can write 50 better scenes. (SuperShadow: Lucas continues to make changes to the classic Star Wars films simply to make beaucoup bucks. It's always about the bottom line. Lucas' extreme (some would say) insane need to make billions upon billions of dollars will never end. For the fans of Star Wars, the nightmare never ends.)

Didn't Sidious tell Anakin that his master was so powerful with the dark side of the Force that he could create life? (SuperShadow: Sidious' statements about Darth Plagueis were extremely ambiguous and open ended. Technically, no mortal can create life. You can use the dark side to extend your life, but that's about it.) And wouldn't it be reasonable to assume that Anakin could have been created by one of them for the sole purpose of becoming a Sith apprentice? (SuperShadow: This is ridiculous. Lucas says this is absolutely false with no truth at all.) I mean if they have the knowledge it seems it would be easier to create an apprentice instead of finding one. (SuperShadow: You can't plan who is going to be your Sith apprentice 20 years in advance. You're being absurd with this argument.)
I have a question. In Episode 3, when Anakin was burned and all Obi-Wan said: "you were suppose to destroy the Sith, not join them!" Well, I think Obi-Wan (and all the other Jedi) did misread the prophecy. Anakin wasn't supposed to destroy the Sith, he was supposed to bring balance to the Force, right? (SuperShadow: Hahaha. You exist because you amuse us. Lucas is never going to explain the Jedi prophecy in full. It is useless to debate this topic.)

Shadow, you think by June of 2021 just 1 month after the release of Star Wars: Episode VII - The Fallen Hero, LucasArts (are you ready Shadow) can release for Nintendo DS, next Gameboy console, Playstation and so on: "LEGO STAR WARS III - THE SEQUEL TRILOGY (Lego Star Wars: Episode 7, 8 and 9). What do you think Shadow? (SuperShadow: By 2021, the failures at life, who control LucasArts, will have run the Lego Star Wars video games completely into the ground. In other words, that series will be long deceased before Episode 7 even begins the script writing phase of production.)
Shadow, new pictures are coming soon. My last set of Katarn. Money is tight right now, but I'm saving. Oh the play is going good just 1 more month until The Tempest. (SuperShadow: Rock me Amadeus.) Also I did some choreography with my little 7 year old brother's plastic light sabers. I find this childs play to be sort of helpful for when I audition come 2012 or so. (SuperShadow: Sweet. You rock. Your participation in Episode 7 is all but guaranteed.)
I was babysitting him and I figured "gee I got a great idea" since I want to audition for the Kyle Katarn role (SuperShadow: Katarn may NOT appear in the sequel trilogy. Stay tuned.) and I want to anticipate what Nick Gilliard (SuperShadow: Nick is too expensive. We'll have to use some eighty-year-old grand master from Hong Kong who works for minimum wage or even less, hopefully.) has instore for the actors. Maybe it would be useful to study choreography so I know what the character acts and turns out. (SuperShadow: If you work real cheap, we might hire you. We pay with Monopoly money so you will get paid real well (relatively speaking). You will be the richest person playing Parker Brothers games. Hahaha.)

Why does Obi-Wan fight so slowly in Episode 2 against Dooku, compared to the fight in Episode 1 against Darth Maul and against Anakin in Episode 3? (SuperShadow: Obi-Wan adjusts his fighting style to match the opponent. Both Maul and Anakin are quick and agile. Therefore, Obi-Wan had to move quickly to keep from being vanquished. In contrast, Dooku is an ancient man, who moves very slowly. Hence, Obi-Wan did not need to fight spectacularly against Dooku.)
Sir SuperShadow, if Sidious had failed in bringing Anakin to the dark side, would Anakin still be destined to fall to the dark side in some other way? (SuperShadow: No, not at all. If Anakin had resisted Sidious' offer to join the dark side, then Anakin never would have succumbed to the dark side. Destiny does not exist in the Star Wars galaxy.)
With so much power, I don't see how Anakin could control it. (SuperShadow: Anakin would have become the greatest Jedi ever if Revenge of the Sith had played out in the Jedi's favor.) Would Luke Skywalker have become a Sith? (SuperShadow: Absolutely never. Nothing can tempt Luke to the dark side.) I think Sidious actually helped the Jedi. (SuperShadow: How so? Sidious destroyed almost the entire Jedi Order in a matter of hours. The Jedi don't need this kind of help. Hahaha.)

Yo SS, well again just thought of something. The fact that the Jedi could not marry made me think that the Sith may have had some influence in the rules of the Jedi. (SuperShadow: Not likely.) And here's my reasoning: please let me know if I'm missing information which would make this wrong. 1) Not marrying would have greatly reduced children born with the ability to use the force. (SuperShadow: Absolutely false. Birth rates have nothing to with the number of Force users in the galaxy. The Force takes care of such details.) and 2) Things like love would give the Jedi more reason to become stronger in order to protect there loved ones. (SuperShadow: The Jedi tend to ignore their emotions. They are stronger by not falling into emotional traps.)
SS, you failed to post the the only logical reason for Luke Skywalker surviving Sidious' Force lightning unscathed: Lucas had not yet come up the idea of Palpatine's disfigurement being the result of Force lightning. I mean, come on, you know George so you know it's true, but thanks for doin what you're doin! (SuperShadow: You're implying that Lucas is making this stuff up as he goes along without much planning or thought. Hahaha. I love it.)

I have 3 questions for you, Lord Shadow. (SuperShadow: SS knows all. No hyperbole here.)
1) According to the New Essential Guide to Characters, Boba Fett dissappeared after stopping the hunt for Han Solo and taking a few more bounties (at that time he was piloting the Slave star ship. What happened to him? (SuperShadow: The crap expanded-universe stories are NOT real. Ignore them. After The Empire Strikes Back, Boba Fett continued to hunt down the most wanted scum in the galaxy. This comes directly from Lucas.)
2) What happened to Mace Windu after he fell down the window in Episode 3? (SuperShadow: Windu immediately fled to a back-water planet and hid there until the time of Episode 7.)
3) Is it possible for Sidious to reincarnate after his falls down the death-star-reactor core? (SuperShadow: No. Sidious is deceased for all time.)
Hey SS. Is it possible Darth Plagueis created Anakin because in Episode 3 Palpatine calls Anakin to the theatre and tells the story of Darth Plagueis the wise and how he was able to manipulate midichlorian to create life, with a smug look on his face? (SuperShadow: Hahaha. Can't stop laughing. This is the single biggest fallacy created by the fans. No truth whatsoever.) Perhaps Palpatine could have found out Darth Plagueis had created a new apprentice, not knowing who, and slew him? (SuperShadow: Not even possible in the slightest.)
I was wondering if George Lucas is planning to release an editor's copy of the new Star Wars movies. (SuperShadow: Lucas says there will never be special editions of the prequel trilogy because they are already perfect. They represent his final vision.) There are so many scenes that have been deleted and I would like to see the entire movie as it shows in the plot scripts provided online. (SuperShadow: Not gonna happen. The deleted scenes were completed purely to sell Star Wars DVD's.)
