Shadow, you must halt your scoring for a minute (SuperShadow: Not likely. Scoring is always at the top of my list.) because it is time to stop George. He claims people who try to find plot errors are losers! (SuperShadow: You expect me to say these kinds of fans are winners?! Who wastes even one second looking for plot mistakes?)
Indirectly he is offending you too! (SuperShadow: Criticism is the best form of flattery. Lucas worships the ground I walk on.) P.S. I think you are the coolest guy on the planet, but George has some major issues! (SuperShadow: SS is legendary. I’m the only famous Star Wars fan on this planet. Everyone knows about me and my unparalleled genius. Lucas is frustrated with some of the fans because they are never happy. No matter what Lucas does he can’t win all the fans all the time.)
First off I'd like to say how awesome your site is. (SuperShadow: We are the most visited Star Wars web site. There is no close second.) Your truly are the greatest. (SuperShadow: Tell me about it. My ego is larger than the Universe.) I have a question that have been on my mind since I saw Episode III. In Episode IV, Obi-Wan tells Luke Skywalker that Vader helped the Empire hunt down and destroy the remaining Jedi.
In the movie, Vader only killed the Jedi in the Jedi Temple and that was more of an ambush than a hunt. The clone troopers (under Sidious' order) seemed to slaughter more Jedi than Vader. My question is, were there remaining Jedi that the movie didn't show, that Vader hunted down after the movies end? (SuperShadow: Yes, exactly. We only saw a few Jedi killed by the clone troopers on screen during Revenge of the Sith. Vader spent several years hunting down dozens of a Jedi, who were hiding all over the galaxy.)
Maybe something along those lines could be a subplot to the television series? (SuperShadow: This is possible, but Lucas is reluctant to show the Sith in the TV series. Probably won’t happen anytime soon.) Could you put a good word into George for me? (SuperShadow: Your comments will be sent directly to Lucas.) I would greatly appreciate a reply from the Master. (SuperShadow: Lucas can’t provide personal replies. Remember he has many super models to whoo.)
Revenge of the Sith or Return of the Jedi are two of the best films of Star Wars. (SuperShadow: Yeah, definitely. Return of the Jedi is the most action-packed film in the classic trilogy, which makes it many times better than the slow-and-boring The Empire Strikes Back.) Marquand did a better job than Kershner at one of the classics even though it wasn't Lucas' vision. (SuperShadow: Bless Marquand’s soul. He did his very best, which still falls well short of Lucas.)
The reason I liked Return of the Jedi better than the other two prequel movies is that in this film the final battle for freedom is really won. I have my own theory which in my opinion is the best as to why the Force lightning affects Palpatine's face and not Luke's. When Palpatine attacks Mace Windu with Force lightning, Palpatine does so with so much energy and if you add that energy plus the one where he stood resisting death and his age, that would give him that horrible appearance. (SuperShadow: Most excellent.)
And plus he was a 60 something year old man with wrinkles. I think he even had more wrinkles than Yoda. Luke doesn't get affected because the Emperor wasn't using the Force lightning on him continuously as he did with Windu. (SuperShadow: Pure genius. You are correct.) If you notice in Return of the Jedi, Palpatine pauses for a moment to give a sort of dark side lecture to Luke every time he stops. (SuperShadow: Yep, I see this. Very brilliant on your part.)
And Luke wasn't trying hard to resist. Hey S.S., do you think the people in charge of making the Star Wars game will make a Jedi Knight 4 game? (SuperShadow: The LucasArts honchos say no.) I think it would be cool, especially if they add the expanded universe characters since the games in that series are not a part of Lucas' vision. (SuperShadow: Never gonna happen.)
They should also work on a game in the future when Episode 9 is released that is about the entire Star Wars saga. (SuperShadow: Sweet idea.) How cool would that be playing through the game all the way from The Phantom Menace to Victory of the Force? (SuperShadow: Heaven on Earth, my good friend.)
I know it might be a long game, but it might also be interesting and fun. Also Shadow do you know if there is an important role in the sequels about an adult Jedi because I'll be in my late 20s to early 30s when work on the sequels begins? (SuperShadow: Not sure. I won’t know what specific roles are available until we see a script. The sequel plot summaries don’t reveal very much.)
Also could you tell big G to work on the sequels nine years from now at least? (SuperShadow: Your comment will be forwarded to Lucas.) Maybe this is an assumption, but I think people that have worked with Lucas like you get early copies of the DVDs. (SuperShadow: I have several dozen copies of the Revenge of the Sith DVD including a special six pack of all the Star Wars movies.)
If there were one day when Lucas would make a raffle over something all over the nation for people to get early copies of the DVD I would take that chance. (SuperShadow: Nice idea.) Thank you for your time Master Shadow you and Lucas both rock, make sure he knows I told him that. (SuperShadow: Lucas realizes he is great beyond mortal words.)
Shadow, please post this. (SuperShadow: Anything for you.) In the History of the Jedi & the Sith, it states that Jedi were originally taught both the light and dark sides of the Force because the Force, as a whole, has two parts to it. (SuperShadow: Hmmm. Yeah, I guess so.) So if the dark side is part of the over all Force, and it is destroyed at the end, how come Episode 9 is entitled Victory of the Force? (SuperShadow: The dark side is a corruption of the Force. It must be destroyed for the Force to be whole. The dark side is not natural.)
How could something destroy itself? (SuperShadow: Just as God will vanquish the devil, the Force brings the evil side of the Force to an end.) I would think that if the two sides co-exist, the dark side couldn’t be destroyed? (SuperShadow: This is all paradoxical.) If there are two sides to it, one should not be able to exist without the other. It would be like killing off all the women in the world and expecting the human race to still prosper. (SuperShadow: Not a good analogy.)
I know Lucas is always rethinking his titles (i.e. Revenge of the Jedi becomes Return of the Jedi) and that this is also a rough draft, so I am sure he will think of something. (SuperShadow: I don’t expect Episode 9 to change very much. Lucas may change the way in which the dark side is destroyed.) Also, one more thing. Although I hate to do so, I agree with the guy who said that The Phantom Menace was a let down. (SuperShadow: Heresy!)
Personally I loved it, as well as the Star Wars fans all over the world did. However, I don’t think the general public did. It may have grossed more even without the inflation factor from 1977 to 1999, but the reason for that was The Phantom Menace was the first Star Wars movie in 16 years. (SuperShadow: I see your point.) Lucas could have run a British Soap Opera up there and the world would have still gone to see it. (SuperShadow: That’s an exaggeration. The Phantom Menace is a great, great film. Jar Jar Binks is pure genius.)
I think that people don’t take so well to The Phantom Menace or Attack of the Clones because everyone wanted to see Vader. (SuperShadow: Point taken.) No one wanted to see Anakin as a 9-year-old or a teenager. However, I think that it was pure genius on the part of Lucas by showing Anakin as a child in Episode 1, a teenager in Episode 2, then finally a man and soon to be father in Episode 3.
This way, the audience had the chance watch Anakin grow up. (SuperShadow: That’s what Lucas intended to tell the whole story of Anakin.) They had the chance to learn that even though Anakin has some flaws, he is still a good person who loves the people close to him. This helped to make his eventual downfall much more tragic.
Before Lucas even decided to film the prequel trilogy, Lucas knew that everyone who saw it would know how it ultimately ends, so he had to do what he could to make it as emotional as possible. (SuperShadow: Agreed.) So even though you knew what was coming, you were still moved. Anyway, sorry this message was so long. Just a huge Star Wars fan, that’s all. Love the site. (SuperShadow: SS loves you all.)
Man, you got this stuff down. I never go anywhere else for info. (SuperShadow: SS.com is the focul point for Star Wars on the Net.) As far as the Star Wars TV show goes, I would like to see some Sidious beat downs of Vader. I mean Vader is still a bit torn at the end of Revenge of the Sith even though he commits some horrible acts. I'd like to see something that makes Vader really just say the **** With IT! (SuperShadow: Hahaha. Goodness gracious.) If I can't beat him now, I'm going to join him FULL FORCE! Thanks for everything! (SuperShadow: Take it on the run.)
Hey SS, superior job at managing and keeping this website interesting. (SuperShadow: We do our best to entertain.) I have a small suggestion for you and Lucas. Some time in the future you guys should do a TV series based on the events between Episodes 6 & 7. (SuperShadow: This could happen. If the TV show is a big success. Lucas would love to cover the events between Episode 6 and Episode 7. Let’s pray the TV show has high ratings and maintains very high ratings for many, many years.)
This show would be like an introduction to the characters of Episode 7 to 9 and it would give us fans a little update on the lives of our classic heros after Return of the Jedi and how they established the New Republic. (SuperShadow: I absolutely love this idea. It will be sent to Lucas.)
SS, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE have GL include the Qui-Gon Jinn scenes with him telling Yoda about returning as a Jedi ghost in the Revenge of the Sith DVD! (SuperShadow: These scenes were never actually filmed.) We all were waiting for that scene in the movie, as your site said it would be there and were tremendously disappointed with it not being in the movie. (SuperShadow: You can’t have everything. Hahaha.) I have seen Revenge of the Sith 10 times (literally) and really want to see this scene - PLEASE! (SuperShadow: Use your imagination. Lucas is never going to film a scene showing the Qui-Gon ghost talking to Yoda or Obi-Wan.)
I have sent you and Mr. Lucas several intelligent and pertinent questions. Time and again, I have checked your site with the HOPE that ONE of them would get answered. Yesterday, I saw a question that, obviously, addressed a statement made only DAYS prior. I then realized that it doesn't take months for you to answer a question. You had simply disregarded mine. I'm not mad, just discouraged. (SuperShadow: Lucas receives countless thousands of comments and questions from SS.com each day. Lucas reads 99 % of them, but he can only give answers to a few. Lucas is a very busy man and does the best he can for us.)
Why do you entertain questions that people could easily answer for themselves if they read the material provided on your site? (SuperShadow: I don’t have anything to do with the questions Lucas chooses to answer. I can’t control everything. We are at the mercy of Lucas.) Why do you address the SAME questions in various forms? I ask because I don't understand. (SuperShadow: Lucas does as he pleases. He answers to no one, not even to the intimidating SS.)
Hey George! Believe it or not I'm a young fan who likes the originals much better than the originals. (SuperShadow: This is hilarious. SS.com receives thousands of comments and questions from fans from all over the world. Hundreds and hundreds tell me each and every day how much they love the prequels. Only one or two ever mention that they like the classic trilogy better than the prequels. You need to realize that most fans disagree with you. The prequels rock.)
Don't get me wrong the prequels are good, I just happened to enjoy the originals more. I know you said that you didn't like the work Kersh did on The Empire Strikes Back, but do you think the director of Return of the Jedi did a good job? Please post and God bless. (SuperShadow: Lucas says that Richard Marquand did a million times better with Return of the Jedi than Kersh did with The Empire Strikes Back. Marquand was able to bring the film in under budget. Kersh was a financial failure for Lucas. Kersh nearly ruined Lucas.)
Hi Shadow. Please post! (SuperShadow: O.K.) I have a question. Did Obi-Wan have an affair? (SuperShadow: Obi-Wan never had an affair with Padme. However, it is true that Obi-Wan had intimate relations with many women even though such liaisons were directly forbidden by the Jedi Code. You can’t keep a guy from scoring.)
And what do Force fireball and earth quake, etc. do? (SuperShadow: Force fireball is a burst of energy in the shape of a sphere that is launched from the hands. It is like a concentrated version of Force lightning. Force earth quake causes a giant chasm to open up in the ground and swallow up your adversaries. Very few Jedi, Sith or Dark Jedi know how to properly use Force earth quake.)
What in The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi would Lucas have made different? What are some major things Lucas wanted in them that weren’t there? (SuperShadow: The major problem that Lucas has with Kersh and Marquand’s direction of the films is the fact that they would change dialogue without getting Lucas’ permission to change the script. Lucas wanted the directors and the actors to follow the scripts strictly as written by Lawrence Kasdan and Lucas. It terrified Lucas when he would watch the film dailes and the dialogue was completely different. Lucas believes these changes ruined his vision for the movies.) Please post, I have to know the answers! P.S. who came up with the line: "Luke, I am your father"? (SuperShadow: There is no such line spoken by Vader. Lucas coined the phrase: “I am your father.” Fortunately, Kersh didn’t change this classic.)
Hey Lucas - the other day I was walking to my sky rise in the city when I noticed a person standing in the rain selling copies of your latest incantation of Star Wars for $3.00 each. (SuperShadow: This greatly irritates Lucas.) How does that make you feel? (SuperShadow: It makes Lucas boil with anger.) And also - how does it feel knowing that after I had called the police on this person to simply get them off my property he had already sold each and every copy he owned? (SuperShadow: This DVD pirate might have cost Lucas several hundred dollars. Lucas will never be able to sleep peacefully again.)

Suggestion. If all six episodes of Star Wars could be condensed into one opera, then this would make for a great 3-D exhibit. (SuperShadow: Simply brilliant. Lucas should make Star Wars into a Broadway musical. Hahaha.)
Hi SuperShadow. I read somewhere on your site that someone wrote in that they thought The Empire Strikes Back is the best movie. (SuperShadow: This person is deranged.) It is not. The Phantom Menace is. (SuperShadow: Many agree with you.) By the way Yoda is so cool in that movie.
Another question: Why did the director of The Empire Strikes Back not direct it with Lucas' vision? (SuperShadow: Lucas gave Kersh autonomy to do the film the way Kersh wanted. Lucas couldn’t be on the set 24/7. Lucas was distracted by many things during the filming of The Empire Strikes Back.)
I would think that Lucas should have told the director of The Empire Strikes Back what Lucas wanted done. (SuperShadow: It’s not that easy. You need to let a director follow their own vision. Otherwise Lucas should have just directed the film himself to achieve his vision.)
Lucas wrote the screenplays and I think that Lucas has the right to tell the other director his vision and how he wanted it done. Thanks and May The Force Be With You, Chris. (SuperShadow: I will dominate the Force always and forever.)
In Revenge of the Sith how close is Anakin to actually being a Jedi Master? (SuperShadow: Very, very close. Anakin had done everything necessary to earn the rank of master. It seems that some on the Jedi Council wanted to deny Anakin this honor for unknown reasons. It is possible one or more of the Jedi Council were part of the Sith conspiracy.)
Why is Revan so far down your list of strongest Sith Lords? (SuperShadow: Lucas believes the Sith in front of Revan are much more powerful.) Revan should be like 4 or 5 or something. He brought war to the madelorians, defeated them brought war on the Republic. Survived a shot from a Sith dreadnaught and killed an entire army of Sith Masters & Apprentices on the Star Forge. Not to mention creating a new Sith Order. (SuperShadow: All impressive accomplishments, but the Sith ahead of Revan are still better overall.)
YODA DEFEATED HIMSELF! Palpatine had nothing to do with what Yoda did. If you look, it is quite obvious towards the end when Palpatine is fighting that he is going to lose until Yoda makes a slight mistake in the Force lightning part. Yoda knocks himself over that ledge. (SuperShadow: Fantastic point. Perhaps it was luck that allowed Sidious to prevail over Yoda.)
Hey, Shadow. Please post this time. (SuperShadow: As you so wish.) Why didn’t I read anything about Jaina and Jacen Solo in the sequel trilogy plot thing? (SuperShadow: Lucas hasn’t added all the children to the sequel plots yet. Jaina and Jacen may not exist in Lucas’ vision.) Also, I found a plot error in the sequel trilogy.
Ten thousand Jedi from the prequel trilogy shouldn’t be able to be able to come back as ghosts. If Qui-Gon Jinn can’t appear in Return of the Jedi Qui-Gon shouldn’t be able to come back in Episode 9. (SuperShadow: Intriguing theory, but you are mistaken. With the destruction of the dark side, there are no more limitations on the Jedi. The deceased Jedi can now easily make contact with the living.)
And did ALL of them even know how to come back? (SuperShadow: The will of the Force allowed them to return as spirits to celebrate the final end of the dark side.) Thanks. SS rocks. (SuperShadow: SS rages on that hottie road.)
Here's a plot error: all the rebels in Episodes IV and V and all of the Empire in the original trilogy are humans. What do you think? (SuperShadow: Obvious plot mistake. Lucas couldn’t afford to make alien-looking creatures to appear in the films as rebels and Imperials. It’s kinda funny really. Lucas did the best he could with no money.)
One more comment on the Palpatine/Force lightning disfigurement debate. Maybe the Force lightning interacted with the kyber crystal around his neck and caused the disfigurement. (SuperShadow: Pure genius on your part. The crystal could have caused what happened to Sidious. I love this idea. It will be forwarded to Lucas.)
The Phantom Menace the most popular of the Star Wars films? (SuperShadow: It’s beloved by countless millions.) HA! You are kidding me! (SuperShadow: No joke.) Yes it made $400 + plus million dollars in the theaters. So what? (SuperShadow: The only way to objectively compare movies is to compare their respective box-office grosses from around the world.)
When a movie is costing $ 8 - 10 per ticket in the late 1990s, it is a lot easier to do than in 1977. (Incidently, Star Wars: A New Hope sold twice as many tickets as your precious Episode 1 $2.25/ticket). The Phantom Menace is known as one of the most over-hyped movies of all time. (SuperShadow: Not true. Something is over hyped if it doesn’t meet expectations. The Phantom Menace blew people away and disappointed not a single soul.)
No, I won't ***** at George Lucas for this. The Phantom Menace was a story of exposition that needed to be told to move the prequel trilogy along. And now that the trilogy is complete, Episode 1 is a better movie, but it cannot stand along as anything "Star Wars worthy" because it was easily the worst one in the series. (SuperShadow: Bad movies don’t make close to one billion dollars at the box office. You live in a strange little world where nobody cares about your insipid opinions.)
Now you are entitled to your opinion, Mr. Shadow Man, but pawning off your opinions as fact (especially by using movie gross dollars as a measuring stick) is stupid, irresponsible and makes me question your intelligence. (SuperShadow: The greatest genius of all time can never be questioned. In case you’re wondering: I AM the greatest genius of all time.)
Whether my opinion is important to you or not, the two top Star Wars movies (TO ME, I HAVE NO PROBLEM WITH FOLKS DISAGREEING WITH THIS) are The Empire Strikes Back and (although there are many plot holes) Revenge of the Sith. Does this bother you? Well, I don't care. (SuperShadow: Does it bother me that one tard out of millions of fans thinks the way you do? No, it doesn’t bother me. It makes me laugh. How lonely you must be.)
O.K., great site. (SuperShadow: We rule all. SS.com gets more hits in an hour than most other Star Wars fan sites get all week.) I have a question. I read the Episode 9 write up and it states that the Jedi enter a 1,000 year period of peace.
Now I know that GL states that evil is gone forever, and if it is, wouldn’t the peace go on for ever, not just 1000 years or am I misunderstanding something? (SuperShadow: The dark side is destroyed. Not all evil is destroyed. There are still evil people in the galaxy. What happens is that with the end of the dark side, these evil people can no longer utilize the dark side to make themselves powerful. The Jedi have an easier time keeping the peace now that evil people are a lot weaker.)
Please post this. (SuperShadow: Sure thing.) You did not post the last one (doesn’t matter). (SuperShadow: Matters to me. I want all your wishes to come true at least for today.)
Hey Shadow , did you ever notice that the city lights of Coruscant from space look somewhat like crop circles? Or was that intentional? (SuperShadow: Glad you noticed. Lucas and I decided to make it look like Coruscant had giant crop circle shaped things on the surface of the planet. A little inside joke between Lucas and I. We often joke around about extraterrestrials because we know said aliens can’t do anything to us for mocking them.) And where is the hidden 1138 in Episode III? (SuperShadow: 1138 can be seen under the bottom of one of the star ships in the opening space battle.) Is it Obi-Wan's use of "emergency code 9-13 "? (SuperShadow: No, denied.)

Where can you find vintage Star Wars toys sealed since you’re a Jedi Master? (SuperShadow: Lucas forbids all fans from buying the old toys because he doesn’t make any money from old toys that are resold. Please buy only new Star Wars collectibles.)
You sure love Shadow for putting you down a lot. I don't get it? (Scratching my head). (SuperShadow: Lucas owes SS everything. Imagine the prequels without Shadow.) Are you that insecure that you must bow down/put up to someone who insults and shames you via the Net to an entire nation of fans? (SuperShadow: Lucas knows I love him.)
I can still recall: George is fat, obsessed with money, money, money, his vision, vision, vision, has no wife, no kids to call his own, ha ha ha. (Lucas had to adopt in order to have a family, does not date (although now Shadow swears you do), is a big loser, is a ugly homey man, his ex-wife should take half the profits, he ruined Marcia's life and so forth. (SuperShadow: Sadly all true, except the no dating part. Lucas does partake in super models.)
How do you put up with this bull****? George! (SuperShadow: Lucas is addicted to SS just like everybody else.) Where is your pride and your integrity? (SuperShadow: Hahaha. What a baseless claim. Lucas has plenty of ego and such.) Dude, you seems so arrogant when it comes to money. Why not bash Shadow with the same stone? (SuperShadow: SS cannot be bashed because he is perfect in all respects.)
A true friend would respect you as you are. It seems Shadow is also in it for the fortune rights he will obtain when you die. I'm so sorry you call him your friend. (SuperShadow: It is good to profit handsomely from your friends. You would all do the same if you were in my enviable position.)
Hey Shadow, do you think Mace Windu could take down Count Dooku in a light-saber fight? (SuperShadow: Yes, probably. Windu was able to stick with Sidious during Revenge of the Sith so I suppose this means Windu could take down Dooku.)
Hey SS. I'm a huge fan, currently collecting everything possible of Star Wars. It's not easy. (SuperShadow: Buy as many Star Wars collectibles as feasible. Lucasfilm sorely needs the money to create the new Star Wars TV shows.) But I have one question. In Episode 3, right at the end, Yoda tells Obi-Wan about communing with Qui-Gon Jinn.
Why didn't you show us what happened in that part, and can you explain what significance Qui-Gon played in Obi-Wan’s exile? Many thanks, Daniel. (SuperShadow: Qui-Gon is the one who teaches Obi-Wan how to vanish at death and return as a Jedi ghost. Obi-Wan communicates with Qui-Gon quite often during his time on Tatooine. Lucas and I decided not to show Qui-Gon in Revenge of the Sith because the fans didn’t deserve it. Too many complainers about Jar Jar Binks. Lucas got his revenge in the end.)
Previously on SS.com, a fan wondered why the Force lightning that disfigured Palpatine's face didn't disfigure Luke Skywalker's face. There are different ways to approach this issue. For one, you could say that Palpatine was slowly being ravaged by the dark side over time and that by the time of Return of the Jedi, he was weaker than he was in Revenge of the Sith, meaning that the Force lightning was not powerful enough to disfigure Luke. (SuperShadow: Ingenious. This could be so. Sidious could be a lot weaker.)
Or, as you've said, the light side has become more powerful with the rise of Luke and maybe the light side protects Luke from the harmful effects of the Force lightning, (but not Palpatine or Vader). (SuperShadow: This could be true.) Or, you can also avoid the Force lightning explanation entirely. I choose to think that Palpatine became disfigured because he was trying his hardest to tap into the dark side to kill Mace Windu. (SuperShadow: I love this idea. It makes sense.)
When Palpatine's best moves and powers couldn't stop Mace, Palpatine became desperate, calling upon the dark side with much more intensity than he had ever done before, which ravaged his body and made him ugly (and also gave him permanently yellow eyes). (SuperShadow: Sweet. This sounds so cool. Thanks for the comment.)
Dude, what is wrong with you? I've been visiting this site forever (coolest site, btw) and you've been kinda contradicting yourself. Pre the release of Episode III, you had been saying that Obi-Wan is at the top of his game, that he was THE greatest swordsman in galactic history and that he was the most powerful Jedi at the time of Episode III.
So, why the *%#" are you contradicting yourself now, saying that the Sidious or Mace Windu are the greatest with a light saber in galactic history and that Yoda and Mace overpower Obi-Wan? (SuperShadow: Excellent question. I guess Obi-Wan is the best ever.) I mean, at least Obi-Wan won his battles in Episode III. Obi-Wan didn't run away with his tail between his legs or something. (SuperShadow: Yoda did act like a scaredy cat.)
Anyway, just wanted to point that out, and to let you now that I will keep sending you this message everyday until you post it. (SuperShadow: Oh great. Hahaha.) Thank you very much, chosen one. P.S.: Obi-Wan is the greatest. (SuperShadow: I agree wholeheartedly.)
How long has this sit been currently on the web? (SuperShadow: SS.com went live on the Net on July 7, 1992. We were the first Star Wars web site of any kind.) P.S. thanx for inventing Grievous Shakar. (SuperShadow: All my pleasure.)
Hey SS, asking from sunny California. (SuperShadow: Rage on.) What I find peculiar is that how come in Episode 8 Anakin Solo, Ben Skywalker and Paron Lighton use Force avalanche and Force fireball to take out the thugs, but those powers are dark side powers (SuperShadow: They are NOT dark side Force powers. Completely incorrect.) and according to the History of Jedi and Sith they banned dark-side teachings. Please post this so I can see your answer. (SuperShadow: You are mistaken. All I can say about this topic.)
Hello from Wellington. What are the most major few events in between the Third and Fourth movies? (SuperShadow: Those events have yet to be written. Expect the live-action Star Wars TV show to answer this question in the coming years.) From Angus S. (SuperShadow: Angus Young of AC/DC totally rocks.)
How does Shaak Ti die? (SuperShadow: Clone troopers shoot her in the back.) When Yoda is talking to the Jedi Council on the hologram on Kashyyyk, you can see the back of her head so Grievous couldn't have killed her because he was battling Obi-Wan. (SuperShadow: I guess so.)
Hey Supes, awesome SITE! (SuperShadow: Tell it like it is.) Is it true Sidious had two other Sith apprentices after Maul and before Dooku during the Clone Wars? (SuperShadow: Just one called Darth Rage.) And one of them was killed by a Jedi Master I think? (SuperShadow: Correct. Plo Koon killed Rage.)
And what of the other? (SuperShadow: You must be thinking of Darth Voltres.) If this is true, wouldn't the Jedi Council thought then that the Sith were destroyed at that point? (PLEASE POST!) Thanks and keep rockin! (SuperShadow: The Jedi were always clueless about the Sith. Very depressing for the good guys. Hahaha.)
Hey Shadow, I have an alternative ending for Return of the Jedi. When Vader is pondering which side to take when Sidious is electrocuting Luke, Vader masks the Force, like Sidious did to the Jedi, so that Sidious can’t sense that Vader summons Luke's light saber and strikes Sidious down. (SuperShadow: Killer cool.) Then Vader says (yes, I am taking this line from the Fantastic 4): “****, I've been waiting to do that.”
Luke, sensing that Anakin Skywalker has returned, takes him to a medical center, so Vader can get some up-to-date armor, only white and a lot cooler. (SuperShadow: Tres cool idea.) Something not as bulky. Something aerodynamically shaped. Anyway, Anakin then completes Luke's training, if Luke needs it. Now, a comment totally unrelated to this: the prophecy. This would probably show that, clearly, Anakin is the chosen one. (SuperShadow: Get it in gear.)
SS.com Exclusive: Today Lucas talks about his alleged passion for money, are the Jedi to blame for Anakin's fall, Greece, auditioning for the sequel trilogy, plot mistakes, inspiration for the Tatooine cantina band, General Grievous, Spielberg ripping off Star Wars, infinite praise for SuperShadow and many other interesting topics. The reason why Palpatine became disfigured is because he was using all of his power to shoot out the Force lightning and combine that with the heat of the light saber and Force lightning that would disfigure anybody. (SuperShadow: Good show, my dear friend. Simple yet credible answer.)
Hey Super, you are the greatest. (SuperShadow: It is so heavenly being me. All my days are over-pleasurable.) I wanted to ask, in all of Jedi and Sith history who is the best swordsman of all time? (SuperShadow: According to most sword experts, Obi-Wan Kenobi is considered the best with a light saber in the history of the Star Wars galaxy.)
Hey SS! Any word yet on whether or not there will be a prequel box set when Revenge of the Sith comes out on DVD? (SuperShadow: No, prequel box set. Still a few years away.)
Hello from Vermont. (SuperShadow: V-Land rocks.) I saw that someone posted a question as to why the Force lightning did not change Luke’s appearance like it did Palpatine. Here is my theory. Palpatine used the Force to maintain his humanistic appearance. (SuperShadow: Intriguing theory.)
As soon as the Force lightning started to hit Sidious, he had to use the Force, draining his ability to keep the appearance. (SuperShadow: Killer cool.) After, instead of using the appearance of Human, Sidious used his new look to make the others in the Senate feel sorry for him and that made it easier to use the Force to sway them because there were already feelings aimed at him from everyone, mostly pity. (SuperShadow: Sweet.)
That gave him an opening that he could use to push them over to make them easier to rule. That is my opinion. This site rocks! (SuperShadow: SS.com rulz all eternally.)
Hey SS. I am a huge Jedi fan, however, one aspect of the movies continues to haunt me. As a young Jedi Anakin displays abilities that impress Obi-Wan and Yoda. Sidious is convinced that the Force is and will be stronger with Anakin than anyone else before. Even when confronted by Yoda, Sidious states that his own death would be irrelevant as Vader will become more powerful than both of them. (SuperShadow: Very true.)
Due to Anakin’s choices we never get to see the true power of the chosen one "Anakin." Is it reasonable to think that had he not been dismembered by Obi-Wan or had he chosen the path of a regular Jedi that Anakin would have grown to become the most powerful Force user of all time? (SuperShadow: Yes, I agree with this. Anakin was fated to be the most powerful Jedi in history until he fell to the dark side. Destiny can be denied.)
Thanks, love your site. (SuperShadow: SS is the most beloved Star Wars fan ever. No close second. In fact, there is no second. Hahaha.) Please expound on this. (SuperShadow: Or I could go score. Hahaha.)
Hey SS! Just wanted to say you are a god walking among men (SuperShadow: Understatement, don’t you think?) and we should all say thanks. (SuperShadow: You need to praise SS day and night for all time.) O.K. so I’m curious about The Empire Strikes Back. How long does Luke Skywalker actually train with Yoda? (SuperShadow: Difficult question. Lucas is never going to definitively answer this question because it could lead to a monstrous plot error. Luke probably trained with Yoda just a few days or a couple of weeks at most.)
I never really got a feeling for it. Secondly how much time passes between Episode 5 and 6? (SuperShadow: A couple of years go by.) I've always been curious. Because Luke grows in leaps and bounds and I wanted to know how much time it really took him. (SuperShadow: A few years. Enough time to become powerful in between The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi.)
On a side note, it’s ironic that another person mentioned Harry Potter. Because I was going to suggest that you should mention to Lucas that he should direct the 6th Harry Potter film. I think his genius is what is needed to bring the dark events of that story to the big screen. (SuperShadow: I just bought the Half-Blood Prince on compact disc. Will listen to it after I finish listening to the Order of the Phoenix. I skipped the Goblet of Fire all together. Might see the film this November.)
Keep rocking the Force! (SuperShadow: The Force will always be my slave. Completely dominated by me.) (P.S. PLEASE post this question!) (SuperShadow: As you wish. SS answers prayers at this web site.)
I know that Darth Plagueis was Darth Sidious' master, but then how old would Sidious be if Darth Plagueis was one of the ancient Sith. (SuperShadow: Perplexing question. We really don’t have any idea how old Sidious really is. It is a safe bet that he is only about 60 or so years old, but he could very well be ancient for all we know.) SUPERSHADOW RULES! IT'S BETTER THAN SCHOOL! (SuperShadow: SS is the master of all things.)
Hey SS, I probably check you site everyday, so I'll let that speak for itself as a REAL compliment. (SuperShadow: Hahaha. Brilliant. Quite stunningly ingenious. Better words have never been spoken.) Despite this question being asked several times, please explain why Obi-Wan just vanishes instead of being lacerated by Darth Vader's light saber in Episode 4? Regards, Rob. (SuperShadow: Yoda reveals to Obi-Wan in Revenge of the Sith that Qui-Gon Jinn has found a way to become immortal and to exist as a Jedi spirit. Yoda explains to Obi-Wan that Yoda will tell Obi-Wan how to commune with Qui-Gon. Presumably Qui-Gon instructs Obi-Wan on how to become a Jedi ghost after death. This is the best explanation we will probably ever get.)
Why won't George Lucas answer the ultimate question about Episode 3? The question being, did Mace Windu get the upper hand on Sidious or did Darth Sidious just let him to see if Anakin would join the dark side of the Force? (SuperShadow: Tough question. Lucas purposefully made the scene ambiguous to drive us crazy.)
I believe Lucas won’t answer the question because it will open up a whole can of worms. (SuperShadow: Excellent point. We have enough plot mistakes as it is already.) Totally different question: Is Jennifer Love Hewitt’s career kind of in a limbo? (SuperShadow: No, Jen was recently in the hit film called Garfield, based on the comic-strip cat.)
She hasn’t had a hit since the ‘I Know What You Did Last Summer Movies.’ (SuperShadow: Garfield was a pretty huge hit.) I would like to see her back in the spot light. (SuperShadow: I believe Jen will be appearing in a new TV show this upcoming season. Can’t remember what it is about though.)
Hey Supes, a quick comment on the suggestion about Luke Skywalker not getting disfigured by Sidious' Force lightning. Is it maybe possible that Luke didn’t get disfigured because the will of the Force protected him, declaring that Luke becomes the most powerful Jedi ever? (SuperShadow: Pure genius on your part. I absolutely love this answer. The Force could have protected Luke. It seems that way to me.)
It must have been a sign of some sort that if Luke handled the full intensity of Sidious, then Luke must have been more powerful than Sidious at that time because the Force protected Luke. (SuperShadow: Yes, I believe so.) I don’t know what the heck I just said. I just woke up and typed some random crap. (SuperShadow: Hahaha. You are amazing in the mornings.) Anywayz, what do you think? (SuperShadow: Love it all the way. Hahaha.)
|
Hey Supes! I think there is a plot blunder in the fact that Luke Skywalker doesn't get disfigured by the Emperor’s Force lightning when the same lightning disfigures the Emperor! (SuperShadow: Pure genius on your part. This is a huge plot fiasco. Great job.) Can you explain this? (SuperShadow: Lucas says that Sidious‘ lightning was not being concentrated like it was when Sidious fired lightning at Mace Windu. I‘m not buying it. PLOT MISTAKE.) Thanks. Keep on rockin. PLEASE, PLEASE POST! (SuperShadow: Sure thing. Just doing my duty to all fans, which is to serve you all day and night for ever and ever. Amen.)
There are many legendary quotes from the Star Wars films like: "I am your father." I got chills when I heard Obi-Wan Kenobi yell: "You were the chosen one!" (SuperShadow: Fantastic line.) That is my favorite quote so far. I was just wondering, what are yours? (SuperShadow: Every single line of dialogue is my fave. I love everything that Lucas and I wrote for the prequel trilogy.) By the way, I just found SS and I love it! (SuperShadow: SS.com receives more hits in an hour than starwars.com gets all day long. The web masters at starwars.com are extremely jealous of my mega success.)
I have a question about Sidious' two fights in 'Revenge of the Sith.' How is it that the second greatest Jedi (SuperShadow: Mace Windu.) in that time was able to take down Sidious, but the greatest Jedi (SuperShadow: Yoda.) couldn't? It's been bugging me since I saw the movie and my friends keep telling me it's because Yoda was weaker then Windu. So please tell me so I can give my friends an honest answer. (SuperShadow: Lucas says that Sidious tricked Anakin into thinking that Sidious was losing his battle against Windu. Sidious foresaw that Anakin would intervene and save Sidious from Windu. This was all a part of Sidious’ plot to get Anakin to succumb to the dark side.)
In Episode 2, Mace Windu says that the ability to use the Force has diminished. What exactly is he saying? Is he actually saying that they are weak now? Does this mean they are playing it off for the most part? (SuperShadow: Lucas says that the Jedi are no longer able to tap into the Force with full power. This means the Jedi are a lot weaker than normal. The dark side is essentially blocking their Jedi abilities.)
When Windu says "I will take what Jedi we have left" does this mean that the battle on Geonosis was actually ALL the Jedi? (SuperShadow: No, Windu meant he was going to take all the Jedi currently at the Jedi Temple. Most Jedi were not at the Jedi Temple. Instead they were off in various star systems trying to keep order in the galaxy.)
If so, they must have really been diminishing. Jar Jar Binks is the case of the extermination of the Jedi. Due to his suggestion to give emergency powers to Palpatine, the war began and the used the clones. But then again if they didn’t do it that way, would the battle droids have killed off the Jedi anyway? (SuperShadow: It is true that Jar Jar helped Palpatine achieve great powers beyond what a normal Supreme Chancellor would have. You can blame some of what happens on Jar Jar.)
Leading up to Episode 3 you always had the big mystery of who the Jedi Traitor was. I noticed this whole concept was abandoned. Did Lucas re-write something? Please do not tell me the traitor was supposed to be Palpatine or Anakin, cause I mean jeez, we all know that. And if anything it’s Dooku. Lastly, who the heck is Sifodius. (SuperShadow: The mystery of the Jedi Traitor and Sifo Dyas is revealed in the History of the Jedi and Sith section of SS.com.)
Shadow, your site rocks, (SuperShadow: SS.com is so addictive.) but I have a question that doesn't revolve around Star Wars completely. I think the question on everybody's mind is who would win in a fight. Anakin or Harry Potter? Let's see how you answer that one! I love your site. (SuperShadow: Hard to say. I‘m not familiar with just how powerful Harry Potter has become. He‘s still just a kid so Anakin should be able to take him down. Difficult decision. I would have to give the edge to Anakin.)
Much gratitude to you, Shadow, for all the insight given to the many disciples, like myself, of Lucas' immortal craft. (SuperShadow: Thanks. Just following my heart.) As one of the most loyal of followers, I would humbly request clarification as to the officially of solely the history and story related material of the Mastermind's said ingenuity. Is said information direct from the one true forge? Many thanks. (SuperShadow: The information found on SS.com comes directly from George Lucas. Everything about SS.com is official.)
Hi SuperShadow. I am a huge Star Wars fan and I have seen Episode Three 6 times. I wanted to ask, 1. Who is the most powerful Jedi ever? (SuperShadow: Luke Skywalker.) and 2. What is the most powerful Force power including powers from the Expanded Universe? From Bart. (SuperShadow: Force storm is probably the most devastating Force power.)

Greetings exalted one. I just saw Episode 3 for the 7th time over the weekend. (SuperShadow: I applaud your enthusiasm for Star Wars.) I enjoy it more and more each time. After analyzing the battle between Yoda and Palpatine, it appears that if Yoda hadn't dropped his light saber, he may have indeed won that battle. (SuperShadow: I don‘t think so.)
I was also so pleased that you and Lucas changed the very end where Vader folds his arms (while he and the Emperor view the Death Star being built). (SuperShadow: Pure genius on our part.) On the very first trailer it was foam and you could see his (Vader's) chest plate bend.
It looks soo much better now. Thanks for fixing that Shadow. (SuperShadow: It‘s my job.) My friends and I deeply appreciate this. I don't feel that the fact that Anakin and Obi Wan are not sweating on Mustafar was a plot error. Perhaps it was so hot that the sweat actually evaporated before it was visible. (SuperShadow: Exactly. You win the prize.)
You may disagree, but just my little 2 cents. Shadow, we all out here in the O.C. love you and absolutely live for your web updates. (SuperShadow: The addiction to SS.com is intense.) My life would not be the same were it not for this greatest website of all time. (SuperShadow: All agree.) Keep up the great work, Shadow. You are our only hope. LOVE ALWAYS. (SuperShadow: Love ya right back over and over again.)
Whaddup SS. (SuperShadow: Come on mamma light my fuse.) I was wondering, does Anakin Solo actually die in Episode 9 or is he just injured? (SuperShadow: Anakin doesn‘t perish. He is just severely injured.) And before the original Sith were discovered on Korriban did they use their magic stuff for evil or were they corrupted by Dark Jedi or something? (SuperShadow: The original Sith species was kind and pure. The Dark Jedi corrupted the ways of the Sith.) Thanks. Score one for Lynchburg, Virginia. (SuperShadow: Been there and done it many times, my good friend.)
Since Boba Fett didn’t die in Return of the Jedi, will he be in Episodes 7, 8 or 9? I really want to know because Boba is my favorite Star Wars character of all time. (SuperShadow: Yeah, Lucas has already written a scene where Boba Fett and old man Han Solo have a hand-to-hand combat fight. To settle old scores.)
Hey SS. Great site. (SuperShadow: Never gets old. I‘m so great. Thank you, extra-terrestrial overlords.) ROCK ON! I'm writing a parody of Star Wars for summer camp and I have a pretty good start. Got any ideas? (No offence to Star Wars whatsoever in my play. Star Wars is the greatest movie ever. Period.) (SuperShadow: Bring up all the cliché plot mistakes like Obi-Wan and Owen Lars not remembering the droids. Point out that Vader is unable to sense that Leia is his daughter during the torture scene on the death star.)
Hey SS, first off I would like to say that I am only 17 years old. BUT, I have seen Star Wars so many times over again that I have come to cherish them in my heart as part of my family. So I was hoping that you would answer 1 little question (please, please, please!) (SuperShadow: With pleasure.) How come my favorite Jedi, the one and only Kit Fisto, got taken out so easily?
I know it was Palpatine and all, but it was like he just stood there with his thumb up his butt. (SuperShadow: Hahaha. Fisto had no idea that Palpatine is the best swordsman in the galaxy. Fisto was just sleeping and it cost him dearly.) Any clarification would be a glorious gift. (SuperShadow: The will of the Force was not with Fisto. Unfortunately.) Sincerely, your humble servant, Riven Murc. (SuperShadow: Serve me well. I expect only the best.)
Again in The Empire Strikes Back when Luke Skywalker fights Vader like 10 seconds before Luke loses his hand Luke strikes Vader in the arm. What was the reason Luke didn’t slice it off or what? (SuperShadow: Vader‘s shoulder is made of a special material than can resist a direct blow from a light saber.) PLEASE POST AND ANSWER THIS IT IS VERY ANNOYING QUESTION TO ME THAT MUST BE ANSWERED. (SuperShadow: You don‘t know what we can find.)
Okay, I had two questions. My friend and I argue about this all the time. In a duel between Darth Maul and Count Dooku who would win? (SuperShadow: Maul would win by a whisker.) I said that Darth Maul would since he was a master at the light sabre and dedicated himself to martial arts. However my friend argues that Dooku had more knowledge of the Force. Ex: Dooku can use Force Lightning.
What do you think? (SuperShadow: Knowledge of the Force isn‘t too important during an up close light-saber battle. Maul‘s close corner training makes him too tough for Dooku.) By the way the site is amazing. (SuperShadow: I get thousands of comments each day where the only thing the person says is how great SS is, that they can‘t live without SS and that SS is by far the best thing to ever happen to Star Wars. We all have to agree with these facts of life.)
If you don't want Lucas to wait for 15 years to make the sequel trilogy, then use your powers to convince him otherwise. (SuperShadow: Lucas hangs up the phone just as soon as I mention the words “Episode 7“ or “sequel trilogy.” Lucas is serious in not wanting to discuss the next trilogy right now.) You have enough reasons as to why he should do it now and you've changed his mind in the past. You can do it! (SuperShadow: Yeah, Lucas has caved in to many of my demands in the past, but they were minor demands. And remember Lucas would not include a Mechanical Darth Vader fighting the Jedi at the end of Revenge of the Sith. There are some things about Star Wars Lucas will not compromise on.)
Hi. I demand to know why Palpatine's voice starts changing long before he's disfigured by Windu? Where does he get off? (SuperShadow: The Sidious voice begins to change as Sidious reveals his true persona to the world.) And where do you get off with not answering this question sooner? (SuperShadow: Hahaha. You must be kidding. I get over 3,700 comments and questions per day. It takes me three hours to read them all. The best appear on SS.com.) Thanks, Darth Bercury. (SuperShadow: She-Daisy.)
Hey, Supes, I love the site. Someday, when I die, maybe Heaven will be where we get to live as you for one second. (SuperShadow: That would be something beyond even Heaven. Only those of perfect purity will get to experience the life of SS in Heaven.) Anyway, here's my query: is Attack of the Clones a chick flick? This antagonistic girl that I know asserts that it is. What is truth? (SuperShadow: Yes, Lucas intended for the romance between Anakin and Padme to draw in the female segment of society that usually avoids Star Wars like the plague. Attack of the Clones flopped at the box office so this strategy failed miserably.)
Is it possible to have a Jedi with a multi-coloured light sabre? (SuperShadow: Yes, a light saber constructed with red, blue and yellow crystals will yield a very mixed color. This mixing is not allowed by the Jedi Order. Only Dark Jedi can mix the color of their light sabers.) Please show this message. (SuperShadow: Congrats. You win.) P.S you're great. (SuperShadow: You have no idea how fantastic it is to be me. Always In Like Flynn. Hahaha.)
Why is it that in light-sabre battles in Episodes 1, 2 and 3the Jedi take off their cloaks and forget to pick them up again? And then they magically get them back again. Huge error I think. (SuperShadow: Hahaha. Very clever you are. This is a massive plot mistake. Lucas is pulling his hair out of his head. For Lucas, the nightmare never ends.)
Hi SuperShadow. Master Shadow (the second one) here. Well, I've heard so much about the auditioning for playing in the next trilogy. I am 16 years old now (I turned 16 today. Gosh I love birthdays) (SuperShadow: Happy Birthday!) and figure by the time you guys do film the next trilogy I will be a perfect age to do any kind of background work or even have any major roles. (SuperShadow: You are very smart. You may get to play one of the lead characters.)
So my question was, what does it take or will it take for me to try out for being in the films? (SuperShadow: We will announce cities where we will be coming to do auditions. Just show up and my people will give you a number and I will audition each person one by one.) Any information would help (because I REALLY would like to participate). Thank you so much and may the Force be with you. (SuperShadow: Keep on Rock ‘N Me Baby.)
I think the EU is just begging for Callista to turn to the dark side. (SuperShadow: What? You‘ve lost me. Hahaha.) I mean, she can only use the dark side, her old bf has gotten married and had a kid and I bet she didn't even know it for a while, so that'll generate a lot of anger, it would be awesome for Callista to turn to the dark side. (SuperShadow: Are you referring to Callista Flockhart the girlfriend of Harrison Ford?)
Maybe she could be turned back to the light or maybe she could die (preferably in a duel with Mara Jade). I wouldn't mind because I don't like her much anyway I'd rather marry Mara than Callista P.S. What do you think of Jennifer Garner playing Mara? May the success and glory rage on forever Darth Onslaught. (SuperShadow: Garner is pretty cool. She has the physical prowess to use a light saber, but she will be close to 50 years old when we begin filming Episode 7 in another 15 years. Of course, Mara would be an older character.)
I know you've heard this oh maybe only once or twice in your lifetime, but great site, with lots of great info and I commend you for your fan interaction. (SuperShadow: I love the fans more than anything. The countless thousands of positive comments I receive each day really prove how beloved I am by all Star Wars fandom.)
I was just wondering that when the time comes for your to create your vision of the trilogy, will you consider using models? I feel that as much as CGI has progressed and will progress in the coming years, they add a far more realistic touch to the film, offering greater detail. (SuperShadow: No, we will probably use miniatures only sparingly. In 15 years, computer animation is going to be so sophisticated that you will be blown away by the photorealism of the special-effects images produced.)
Perhaps I'm old school, but, I feel they just add a sense of realism that CGI can't capture entirely or at least not yet. Another thought, do you have any cameo appearances in any of the films or do you plan to have one in the upcoming trilogy? (SuperShadow: I have three cameos in the prequel trilogy. 1. Man standing in the stadium watching the pod race. 2. Man sitting behind Obi-Wan in Dexter‘s Diner. 3. Nebar Foxis, Jedi Knight, perished defending the younglings from Anakin at the Jedi Temple.)
Anyways, keep up the outstanding work, I tip my hat to you, and with my next beer, I'll toast. (SuperShadow: By the Order of the Empire: SS.com will endure for all time. This is never, ever gonna end. You can sleep well for the rest of your life knowing that SS.com will always be here for you each day.) A fan from the Great White North. (SuperShadow: Rage on.)
In The Empire Strikes Back, why does Obi-Wan tell Luke Skywalker that if he rushes off to fight Vader without completing his training that: "he will do it alone. He [Obi-Wan] cannot help him." Is there something about that fight that would prevent Obi-Wan from making his ghost appearance? (SuperShadow: The Force will not allow Jedi ghosts to interfere physically in the real world. Hence, Obi-Wan and Yoda can‘t use their near omnipotent powers on the Sith. They cannot interfere with the real world.)
If Luke completed the training as Yoda wanted, would Obi-Wan be able to appear? (SuperShadow: No, even if Luke got full training, Obi-Wan and Yoda could still not help Luke fight Vader and Sidious. When you become a ghost, you become one with the Force and have some of the powers of the Force. This makes Obi-Wan and Yoda millions of times more powerful in death than they were while living. However, the Force will not permit those who become one with the Force to use their incredible powers in the real world. They cannot interfere.)
Hey S.S. One question, you said that Lucas gave permission for the writers to kill off Anakin Solo in the New Jedi Order series, right? (SuperShadow: That‘s correct.) Then it's said that the sequel is set after the New Jedi Order series and Anakin Solo is still alive. How can this be? Is it a plot error? Great site and may the Force be with you. (SuperShadow: The events depicted in the Star Wars novels do not represent Lucas‘ true vision of Star Wars. Lucas has the right to resurrect Anakin Solo for Episode 7 and beyond if he so chooses.)

Why didn't Luke Skywalker just find out what transpired in Episodes 1 - 3 by reading R2-D2's memory? (SuperShadow: It‘s true that Bail Organa might not have wiped R2‘s memory at the end of Revenge of the Sith, but who‘s to say that Bail didn‘t erase R2‘s memory when the Civil War against the Empire began. Anyway, the Star Wars galaxy has quantum computing which is a lot more advanced than anything we know about. R2 might have been able to hide the data he had about Episode 1 to 3 from Luke and anybody else who searched his memory core. Otherwise we have a huge, mega plot error.)
Hey Supes! What’s it like being able to and most likely doing as we speak score whenever you want? (SuperShadow: No big deal. Just a normal part of my life.) Must be great! (SuperShadow: You have no idea.) Anyways I’m a huge Star Wars fan biggest in my school and most like biggest in my high school. (SuperShadow: Congrats on being such a special fan.)
And wondering could I create a Jedi character and audition to be him as a minor role in Episode 7 - 9? (SuperShadow: Yes, you may. Sounds awesome.) That would be a amazing! (SuperShadow: Another dream brought to life by SS.) Truly being part of the movies I have grown up on! (SuperShadow: Wish fulfilled.)
Yo, Double-S, you mention that you have spoken to the actors about reprising their roles in Episode 7. Do you realize how old those actors are going to be? (SuperShadow: Yeah, but we still love them.) Most will be in their late 60's to mid 70's. How can you expect young people (the Star Wars target audience) to watch a movie full of old people? (SuperShadow: The older actors will appear in the sequels, but most of the action will focus around the Skywalker and Solo children as Lucas has so intended.)
Hey SS, big fan, I think you put the old GL to shame! (SuperShadow: SS is much more important to Star Wars than Lucas. We all know this.) My question is why is Mace Windu's light-sabre blade purple? I know in real life Sam Jackson wanted to have a unique color, but that doesn't help me in the Star Wars universe. (SuperShadow: Windu was on a special Jedi mission when he came upon some exotic purple gem stones. Windu brought some of these gems back to the Jedi Temple and found out they could be used to construct a light saber. Windu made several light sabers from the purple gems.) Thanks a lot from Nick in ROCKIN' Alaska. (SuperShadow: Alaska is so boss.) *ahem**up to 4 oz. legally in your house!* (SuperShadow: Party on forever. Amen.)
In regard to the New Jedi Order, I thought Lucas sat down in a table discussion with the writers and told them this is how he wanted it to go, this was an afterwards in one of the books (can't remember which and the wife threw em all away). (SuperShadow: Hahaha. This is absolutely false. Lucas has never dictated what the plot line of the New Jedi Order series should be. Lucas had practically no involvement with the series.)
Lucas himself had to approve of the plots and who died in the books, not that I won't watch the movies because of this, but then why would Lucas let these books go if they weren't part of the "Universe"? (SuperShadow: Lucas did give permission to kill off Chewbacca and Anakin Solo, but that‘s it. Lucas did not tell the authors what to write. The books and comics are created to generate revenue for Lucasfilm. These sources do not represent Lucas‘ official vision of Star Wars.)
Hello, Master Shadow. What would Star Wars fans do without you? (SuperShadow: Star Wars fandom would collapse without me.) I saw Revenge of the Sith 3 times and it totally rocks! (SuperShadow: Razzle dazzle time.) The final fight between Anakin and Obi-Wan is just amazing. (SuperShadow: Killer cool.)
Did the actors use doubles? (SuperShadow: Not really. Most of the fight is Hayden Christensen and Ewan McGregor doing their own stunts.) Anyway, my congratulations to Hayden Christensen and Ewan McGregor, they did a wonderful job and they're both so hot! That's all. Thank you for reading the message. Bye. (SuperShadow: Rage on.)
Hey SS. I don't really understand why you should wait 10 to 15 years to shoot Episodes 7, 8 and 9 of Star Wars. You should really start casting people now and start shooting the episodes in 2 to 3 years. (SuperShadow: That‘s what I would like to do, but you must remember that Lucas owns 100% of Star Wars. We can‘t begin production on Episode 7 until Lucas gives permission. Lucas wants to wait at least 15 years to begin the next trilogy.)
|
Will Jar Jar Binks be in the Star Wars TV show between Episode 3 and 4? (SuperShadow: Yes, more than likely. Lucas says he would love to get Jar Jar involved in the live-action Star Wars TV show. Jar Jar is a massive hit with most fans and Jar Jar is probably the most fave character from the prequel trilogy.)
Hello SuperShadow, I must say, I like the site. (SuperShadow: I spend 3 hours each day sifting through comments and questions at regular SS.com. Then I spend an additional 4 hours analyzing comments and questions submitted to George Lucas. This is like a full time job. Don’t say I don’t love you all. I’m totally dedicated to Star Wars.) I was reading through your History of the Jedi and the Sith and saw mention of races known as the Civians and Bomewrights.
I had never heard of them and was wondering what they looked like, what their home worlds were like (Ophuchi and Sullest perhaps?) I would hope you post this thanks for your time. (SuperShadow: Lucas has never given me species descriptions for those species in question. Lucas doesn’t have enough free time to create great details about what all the species look like and where they are from.)
Why is Lucas waiting so long to start on the sequel trilogy? (SuperShadow: It’s tradition. It took 16 full years for The Phantom Menace to reach theatres around the world after Return of the Jedi. Likewise, it will probably be another 15 years before Episode 7 hits theatres. Lucas believes in taking long breaks in between the trilogies in order to re-energize the fan base. This wait introduces Star Wars to a brand new generation of young fans.)
Will the same actors reprise their roles from episode 6? (SuperShadow: Yes, I’ve already contacted Harrison Ford, Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher, Billy Dee Williams, Peter Mayhew, Anthony Daniels, etc. Each is very excited about working on the next Star Wars trilogy.)
Obi-Wan not remembering owning any droids in Episode 4 is not a plot error. (SuperShadow: I agree wholeheartedly.) He did not own any droids, R2-D2 or C-3PO. I know it's tough, but we should let Lucas off the hook on this point. (SuperShadow: Yep, I’m with you.) There are many more errors we can highlight. Rock on and score for Scottsboro, AL! (SuperShadow: The Deep South totally rocks. Best looking women of them all.)
I was wondering if you guys know who will be the director for Episodes 7, 8 and 9? If it’s not George L., it should be someone as good as him. (SuperShadow: James Cameron has already agreed in principle to direct Episode 7. It’s not a done deal, but Cameron seems very enthused about working in the Star Wars galaxy. The directors for Episode 8 and 9 will be chosen by the fans. So if the fans want Steven Spielberg to direct one of the sequels, then we will approach Spielberg about doing one of them. I’m not sure if he is even interested in doing Star Wars anymore.)
In the Episode 7, 8 and 9 plot scripts, I noticed that the "New Jedi Order" series was not acknowledged. (SuperShadow: The New Jedi Order book series does not represent Lucas’ personal vision of Star Wars.) "No mention of Yuuzhan Vong and Anakin Solo and Chewbacca are suppose to be dead and Ben Skywalker still a very young child." (SuperShadow: This stuff is not in accord with Lucas’ vision.)
So are they to be forgotten in the future of the movies or will it change? (SuperShadow: Yes, theses plot points from the New Jedi Order series will be changed. We will go with Lucas’ vision of what happens many years after Return of the Jedi.)
Wat up SS? (SuperShadow: Rockin’ them all to pieces. If you know what I really mean. Hahaha.) Episode 3 was great, but I think it would of been better if we saw Anakin kill more of the Jedi and a longer fight between Sidious and Mace Windu. (SuperShadow: Fantastic ideas. This will all be forwarded to Lucas.) P.S..Natalie Portman is the fittest movie bird in the world. (SuperShadow: She’s pretty hot for a woman with a micro chest.)
Long time reader, first time questioner. (SuperShadow: We welcome your comments and questions. You are the reason SS.com exists.) In the beginning of ROTS (Revenge of the Sith), what exactly is Obi-Wan's plan to rescue Palpatine? Anakin and Obi-Wan are each flying one man space craft.
If all goes according to plan they would have 3 people after the rescue, Anakin, Obi-Wan and Palpatine, but only seating for 2. (SuperShadow: Presumably, Palpatine could have ridden in the storage area in Obi-Wan’s star ship. It is large enough to hold Human-sized cargo.) How are they getting Palpatine off the ship? (SuperShadow: Cram him in the cargo area of their tiny star ships.)
Is this yet another plot error or am we expected to believe that they were planning to use and escape pod? (SuperShadow: Potential plot blunder. Using an escape pod would have been extremely dangerous.) But, as in the film there are none left, now how are they getting Palpatine off (if the ship was not crashing)? You site rocks - Please Post. (SuperShadow: As I said, the cargo hold of Obi-Wan’s star ship had enough room to carry one Human. Lucas seems to think this makes sense.)
Mr. Shadow sir, pls pls pls post this. (SuperShadow: Most certainly. Your wish is my command.) I would love your opinion and any other diehard Star Wars fans on this. I think Obi-Wan is the most powerful Jedi because: 1. Obi-Wan defeats Anakin. 2. Obi-Wan defeats Grievous (with multiple light sabres).
3. Obi-Wan defeats Darth Maul who has a double-ended light sabre and I think Obi-Wan could have beat Sidious (that’s why Obi-Wan asked Yoda to send him to kill Sidious, Obi-Wan knew he could beat him). What do you think? (SuperShadow: You make a brilliant argument. Pure genius on many levels. Obi-Wan does appear to be the single most powerful Jedi during Revenge of the Sith. Yoda should have take Obi-Wan to fight Sidious.) P.S. Love your site. Visit every day. (SuperShadow: I’m glad you enjoy all my hard work.) Daz U.K. (SuperShadow: Man, I love the United Kingdom. You all party hard.)
Previously on SS.com: (SuperShadow: Lucas never reveals the entire prophecy to us so we have no idea what the prophecy is all about.)
Well, duh, Supes, he (Lucas) has no idea what he's talking about either. (SuperShadow: Hahaha. This is so true.) You said it yourself Lucas makes this stuff up as he goes along. (SuperShadow: All the time it would seem.) The prophecy is like an open-ended question with no answer and I sincerely doubt we'll ever get a straight answer from Lucas. (SuperShadow: Bank on this. Lucas has absolutely no desire to go into great detail about the prophecy. It’s a quagmire.)
I truly think that he made this up to keep the fans in check. If we the viewers find a "plot error," we'll give him so much free publicity by trying to expose it that we'll make fans watch the movies over and over again. (SuperShadow: Very cynical. I love a conspiracy.) This is a genius move by Lucas and he deserves a nice pat on the back. (SuperShadow: So you’re saying that Lucas’ incompetence actually works in his favor. Hahaha.) So for old time sake score one for George, Supes! (SuperShadow: Scoring at will is beyond Heaven. Thanks you, God.)

Hello SS, in Episode 4 Obi-Wan acts if he's never seen Artoo Detoo and C-3PO. My question is does he really not remember them or is he playing some Jedi mind trick game? Thanks, John. (SuperShadow: Lucas says that the situation is ambiguous at best. It had been a long time since Obi-Wan had seen the droids. Any droids in fact. There are so many astromech droids like R2-D2 and protocol droids like C-3PO that it is easy to understand why Obi-Wan might not recognize them. After all there are millions and millions of droids just like them all over the galaxy. The odds of Obi-Wan stumbling across the droids from the prequel trilogy were pretty remote. Or else you could call this yet another plot error. Hahaha.)
Hey SS. Your site is wicked awesome! (SuperShadow: I never get tired of hearing how great I am. It so rocks being me.) Please, please, please, please post this! I have read many comments on the duel between Mace Windu and Sidious. I have seen the Revenge of the Sith movie 17 times already. (SuperShadow: Wow. Impressive. You are a dedicated fan.)
I have to say that with out a shadow of a doubt that Windu had Sidious beat. (SuperShadow: Hmmm.) But because Anakin was the Chosen One, it was set up to where Windu was going to fail in destroying the Sith because that was not his destiny. I think things would have been completely different if Windu would have listened to Anakin and turned him into the Senate. But then again that wouldn’t make much of a story line. (SuperShadow: Very true.)
It just shows how much of a genius Lucas really is. If Windu was somehow the Chosen One, then we all would have seen him defeat Sidious. To me, I think this was a major role in Anakin bringing balance to the Force. If Windu would have in fact killed Sidious then and there, who knows if Windu would have succumbed to the dark side and not Anakin. (SuperShadow: Excellent point.)
Please, please post this! (SuperShadow: Wish granted. I live for the fans.) Thanks for your time and keep scoring! (SuperShadow: The scoring never ends. Too much pleasure for one brain.)
Sup SS. I have been visiting your site for over a year now. (SuperShadow: The addiction feels great, right? Hahaha.) I have never sent in a comment before. (SuperShadow: Touchdown. You win.) Your responses to questions humor me often, but this one cracked me up, lol:
(SuperShadow: Having to be Rick McCallum would be one of the worst fates that a man could get in life. Rick is ugly, fat, dumb and clumsy. He never scores. His life would be an utter nightmare with no end. Say a prayer for Rick tonight.)
This had me laughing very hard. Keep your sense of humor. It's great stuff! (SuperShadow: You have no idea just how pathetic Rick McCallum really is. Imagine the worst possible existence in the Universe and you are only one billionth the way to what Rick has to live through each day. God have mercy on his loserville soul.)
Hey Shadow, this site rocks my socks! (SuperShadow: Total global domination is our aim. Join the fight.) I am a total Star Wars fan. (SuperShadow: We’re together on this.) I love it with a burning passion! (SuperShadow: Yes. I feel it.) I saw Revenge of the Sith 8 times! (SuperShadow: Bonus.)
I just have one question. Will Revenge of the Sith: The Video Game ever be coming out on PC? (SuperShadow: My LucasArts sources tell me that it is too expensive to port the Revenge of the Sith game over to the PC. They can’t make a game unless it makes Lucas tons of money. Sorry.) I don’t have an X-Box or PS2 and I would LOVE it if it came out on PC! (SuperShadow: Wish denied. Hahaha.)
Also, I think it would be so totally rad if LucasArts made games for each episode of Star Wars. (SuperShadow: They basically already have. Get in the game.) I KNOW people would buy it! Rock on, Shadow. Love you! (SuperShadow: Love ya back.) P.S. please post! (SuperShadow: You got it in overtime.)
Awesome site. (SuperShadow: We will rock you. It is so fantastic being the legendary SS.) I have a question regarding the Jedi prophecy of the Chosen One. I know for sure the Chosen One is to bring "balance" to the Force, but does the prophecy ever say that he will destroy the Sith? Obi-Wan refers to the chosen one destroying the sith many times in Revenge of the Sith, but I don't know if this would really bring balance to the Force.
Thanks Shadow. Keep it comin. (SuperShadow: Lucas never reveals the entire prophecy to us so we have no idea what the prophecy is all about. It would appear that the chosen one destroys the Sith Order for ever and ever. Hard to say though until we get a hard copy of the written prophecy.)
Greetings George Lucas. I have been a huge fan of your superb Star Wars movies ever since their inception. Though, I would like to know more about the so-called "expanded universe" facet of Star Wars involving novels and other methods of story creation. Do you have to approve the content of the novels before they are published? (SuperShadow: No. Lucas has very little involvement in the creation of the Star Wars novels and comic books. He has a real life outside of Star Wars.)
That would seem to be too difficult for you with your many time constraints. (SuperShadow: Lucas can’t do everything himself. That’s why he has hundreds of employees to do the work for him.) So, how do you keep the novels from contradicting your vision of the Star Wars universe? (SuperShadow: Lucas doesn’t care about that. He just over rules the novels in the movies.)
Also, in the "History of Jedi and Sith" article written on SuperShadow.com, is all of that info. part of your actual vision? (SuperShadow: Yes, that summary was condensed from official information given to us by Lucas. Everything on SS.com is officially from Lucas.)
How can fans get access to your original concepts (history of the story, etc), without having to rely on authors of Star Wars novels or comics, which very possibly do not follow your original ideas very closely? (SuperShadow: Not possible. Nobody is allowed to read Lucas’ yellow notebooks, which contain the history of the Star Wars galaxy.)
How detailed is your original concepts of the time line of happenings in the Star Wars universe (not necessarily just what results the fans see through the movies)? (SuperShadow: Lucas has revealed very little of his true vision. Stay tuned to SS.com for more revelations. SS.com is your only source for Lucas’ true vision of Star Wars.) Sorry for the disorganization in the questioning and thanks for your time and extreme creative talent. - Luke (no, not that one. It's my real name). (SuperShadow: Brilliant.)
What do Vader and Palpatine do in between Revenge of the Sith and A New Hope? Please answer my question! (SuperShadow: Lucas says that Vader and Palpatine kill billions of people after Revenge of the Sith. Palpatine ruthlessly establishes his Empire over the next twenty years. Nobody is spared the persecution. The live-action Star Wars TV show might eventually reveal some of the adventures that Vader and Palpatine had after Revenge of the Sith.)
Hey Shadow! I have one quick question. Why is it that in the age of STAR WARS there is space flight, hyperspace, lasers, hover cars and so on but Padme didn't know that she was having twins? (SuperShadow: Some people prefer not to know anything about their unborn children.)
I can understand not wanting to know the gender of the child, but still you would think her OGBYN would have at least told her. (SuperShadow: Obviously, the Skywalker twins have to remain a secret or else Vader would have learned from Padme that there were to be two Skywalkers. Lucas painted himself into a corner.) Awesome site, keep up the good work. P.S. could you list the deleted scenes in the Revenge of the Sith DVD? Thanks. (SuperShadow: Soon. Real soon.)
Supes, you rock! (SuperShadow: Guaranteed.) Please forward this to Lucas. (SuperShadow: Bank on it.) In Return of the Jedi when Vader throws the Emperor to his death maybe Lucas can jazz up that scene in the Ultimate Edition. How about having Vader summon Luke’s light saber, catch the Emperor off guard and slice one the Emperor’s arms off! (SuperShadow: Marvelous indeed.)
Shocked, the Emperor turns his attention to Vader and starts shooting Vader with Force lightning. Weakened, Vader drops his light saber, lifts up the Emperor (betrayed, shocked) is still firing down into Vader, who throws him to his death! You know Lucas can do this, please post! (SuperShadow: Magnificent. This will all be sent to Lucas.)
Hi SS. Greetings from Bangalore, India. (SuperShadow: India is so cool.) I'm a huge Star Wars fan and am real glad George Lucas did an amazing job with Revenge of the Sith. It was definitely a dark and sad movie. Shame what happened to all those Jedi getting blasted by them twisted clone troopers! (SuperShadow: Hahaha. Rage on.)
Anyway great site you got here. Lots of details and info. (SuperShadow: Thanks.) Star Wars ain't big here in India, so getting merchandise and books are difficult. (SuperShadow: Too bad.) Only a few Dark Horse graphic comics are available. Wow, I would love to see them all either in an animated format (like Clone Wars) or full-length feature film. (SuperShadow: Great idea. This will be forwarded to Lucas.)
Couple of questions: does Lucas plan to make Episodes 7, 8 and 9? (SuperShadow: The sequel trilogy will get made. One day. Long time from now.) And does he support/approve of the expanded universe books and comics? (SuperShadow: Yes and no. Lucas approves the money he gets from the expanded universe, but he does not accept the expanded universe as his vision.)(Does he contribute to it)? (SuperShadow: No, never.) Keep up the good work on your site. (SuperShadow: Thankfully, this is never gonna end. Amen.)

Hey Shadow. Callin’ from the U.K.! (SuperShadow: Majorly cool nation.) Firstly I’ve seen Revenge of the Sith 3 times now and it rocks. (SuperShadow: Kinda obvious. Don’t ya think? Hahaha.) I especially love what John Williams has done with the film. (SuperShadow: Williams is in top form as always.)
In response to those plot mistakes regarding Vader and the droids in all the original films, Vader never had a scene involving R2-D2 and C-3PO so George is in the clear for that one at least. (SuperShadow: Vader shoots R2 at the end of A New Hope and C-3PO is located on Chewbacca’s back in front of Vader in the Carbonite freezing chamber.) Score one for England! (SuperShadow: I score for all.)
Shadow, congrats on doing something that every Star Wars fan wished they could. (SuperShadow: SS will always be the greatest envy of the Universe.) Are there any plans for Star Wars-only theaters? (SuperShadow: No, never. Not enough demand. To generate constant revenues, a movie theatre has to constantly book new films. Showing the same films over and over again will lead you straight to bankruptcy.)
A place to go in and watch any episode at will? (SuperShadow: Great idea, but not practical in real life.) This would be a fabulous revenue generator. (SuperShadow: NOT.) DVD's are nice, but you haven't seen Star Wars if you haven't seen it on the big screen. (SuperShadow: Agreed. Lucas will release the Star Wars saga on the big silver screen every 15 to 20 years or so.)
SS, this is the best site ever keep it up. (SuperShadow: This is never, ever gonna end. Go rejoice.) I have a very serious question about Luke Skywalker. In this site Lucas says Luke never turns to the dark side; however, I remember listening to an expanded universe audio tape about 7 - 8 years ago that said that Luke did consider turning to dark side in attempt to defeat it. (SuperShadow: Events that take place in the Dark Horse comic books do not represent Lucas’ true vision of Star Wars.)
(This was the same series of tapes in which he discovered holograms of Palpatine describing his ability to create storms). (SuperShadow: Not legit. Just made up stuff for the fans.) PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE POST THIS! (SuperShadow: By your command.) YOU KICK ***! (SuperShadow: That’s what she said. Hahaha.)
SuperShadow, first off, I would like to say thank you for continuing Star Wars. (SuperShadow: Just doing my job. My duty to all fans.) It has greatly impacted my life and I look forward to seeing it in the future. (SuperShadow: SS is one of the biggest influences ever.) I have two questions: Why is Anakin Solo alive in the plot script for the sequels? (SuperShadow: According to Lucas’ vision, Anakin Solo does not die.)
And, how will there be no dark side after Episode Nine when Vergere states that the "dark side" doesn't really exist, it is just the darkness in the Force users? Thanks in advance. (SuperShadow: Hahaha. You read something in the expanded universe and take it for granted. Hahaha. How naive you must be. Nothing from the expanded universe is real. It is made up to generate profits for Lucasfilm. Nothing more and nothing less.)
In A New Hope, if Obi-Wan never saw Luke Skywalker and company could he have beat Vader? (SuperShadow: Excellent question. We simply don’t know because Lucas will not answer this question. It seems that Obi-Wan might have been able to beat Vader if he really tried hard enough.)
And how about when Luke fought Vader in Return of the Jedi if Vader would have fought his hardest, what would Luke’s chances of survival be? (SuperShadow: Hard to say really. Lucas has always stated that Vader never really tried to kill Luke. However, the will of the Force was with Luke so there is nothing Vader could have done to defeat Luke.)
I noticed Mr. Lucas said that prequels were more successful then the originals. I do not really agree with that. Looking at the box-office totals on the prequels and looking at the ones for the originals is not fair considering it was cheaper to get into a movie theater and drive ins during the time the originals were released. (SuperShadow: Hahaha. Only losers adjust for inflation.)
Also is Lucas also counting the box-office totals from when he re-released the originals in theaters in the 1990s? (SuperShadow: Yeah, the prequels defeat the classic trilogy even after you add the revenues generated by the special editions.) The prequels would not be half as successful as they are if it was not for the originals. (SuperShadow: Doubtful. Most prequel fans have never even heard of the classic Star Wars trilogy. The average 12 year old has no idea the classics exist. Fact of life.)
I did enjoy Episode 3 though. I think it was the best out of all of them. (SuperShadow: Due in large part to the genius of SS.) But to say Episode 1 and 2 were better than the original is laughable. (SuperShadow: You’re the one being laughed at. Everyone here knows that the prequels are far superior to the amateurish classic trilogy.)
They are pretty good movies, but I enjoyed Episodes 3, 4, 5 and 6 more than them. Give Lucas some advise for me. Tell him a good story is often better then flashy effects. (SuperShadow: Special effects are what make Star Wars so great. Never forget that.)
In time, do you honestly think you will produce Episodes 7 - 9? (SuperShadow: Yes, definitely. It’s just a matter of time.) If so, what’s stopping you from making them now? (SuperShadow: Lucas likes to take long breaks in between the trilogies to re-energize the fan base. By waiting 15 years to begin the sequels, we will have a new generation of fans to appreciate Star Wars.) (Seems a shame to wait when there is so much potential and profit). (SuperShadow: Star Wars is not about money. The money is a side effect.) Your site rocks by the way. (SuperShadow: We all know this.)
Master Shadow, PLEASE, PLEASE POST! (SuperShadow: Settle down. You get your wish. Lucky as you are.) I was recently given a pirated version of Revenge of the Sith on DVD. In this version, I can actually see Yoda throw his light saber at the clone, before jumping on him and pulling it back out. (SuperShadow: Wow. Big deal.) In the theater, however, I just saw the end of the scene as the light saber is going in, followed by the subsequent pull out. (SuperShadow: Sweet. I guess. How does this matter?)
Was the scene either extended on the DVD or shortened in the theatrical version and which version will be shown for the actual DVD release in November? (SuperShadow: Lucas says not to worry about such things. There is a slight difference in the digital and regular film prints of Revenge of the Sith.) Thanks from a lifelong fan in Michigan! (SuperShadow: Rage on.)
Hey Shadow, only a short question. I wrote to Lucas several times and he never responded. Do you think he's too busy? (SuperShadow: You think? Lucas is swamped with questions and comments from the mega popular SS.com.) How much e-mail does he receive per day? (SuperShadow: On slow days, Lucas gets on average about 2,700 e-mails from SS.com. On peak days, Lucas is flooded with over 4,500 e-mails per day. Lucas says he reads as many of them as possible, but can only respond to a handful.)
Hello there, I am merely curious about the Episode 7 script. (SuperShadow: There is no Episode 7 script. All we have right now is a Lucas-written plot summary.) 30 years after the Battle of Endor, young padawans Ben Skywalker (born in the Yuuzhan Vong wars) and Anakin Solo are to become Jedi?
I see only one error. Anakin Solo is tragically killed during a mission in to the heart of Yuuzhan Vong territory. (SuperShadow: Hahaha. This is not Lucas’ vision. This is something silly from the New Jedi Order series of books. Don’t waste my time with such nonsense.) Also, apparently, Chewbacca is killed saving the young Solo's life in an earlier event. (SuperShadow: Hahaha. Again this is not Lucas ‘ vision of Star Wars. Chewie never dies. Never.)
The Yuuzhan Vong wars take place 21 years after the Battle of Endor. I don't want to cause trouble, but I attempt to follow the story as close as possible. (SuperShadow: Hahaha. How much time have you wasted reading about Star Wars? Go score with women, please.) Please, clear this matter up. (Oh, and btw, awesome site). (SuperShadow: Of course, I rock. Forever and always.)
