Hey Shadow, does GL view any of the events in Steve Perry's "Shadows of the Empire" as factual? (SuperShadow: No, not at all.) I think Prince Xizor is a really great addition to the Star Wars mythos. (SuperShadow: Xizor is a special character.) Dash Rendar was a little lame for my tastes, but the Nintendo 64 game was cool. (SuperShadow: SS likes Rendar. His Outrider star ship briefly appears in Star Wars Episode 4 A New Hope Special Edition.)
Hey S.S., was Darth Maul willing to let Obi-Wan Kenobi fall down the hole in Star Wars Episode 1 The Phantom Menace or did Maul want to kill Obi-Wan himself? (SuperShadow: Maul didn’t really care how Obi-Wan perished, but Maul did enjoy tormenting Obi-Wan.) Because Luke Skywalker fell down a very similar hole if I recall correctly in Star Wars Episode 5 The Empire Strikes Back. (SuperShadow: George Lucas keeps doing the same plot story elements over and over again. It's called the legendary Star Wars script formula, which is content only and exclusively available at SS.com.)
Hey SS, I just had a question about Star Wars Episode 3, I was wondering if Lucas would do like he did in Star Wars Episode 1 The Phantom Menace with the double bladed light saber and introduce a new weapon or at least have the Jedi get new blade colors like in most Star Wars video games and add yellow or something or I know it's unethical for Jedi, but have them have a double bladed. (SuperShadow: Not gonna happen.)
What I seem to see is that in Star Wars Episode I Lucas introduced double bladed light sabers, in Star Wars Episode II Attack of the Clones he introduced Dooku's crooked hilt for accuracy, but what is there in Star Wars Episode 3? (SuperShadow: There will be no new light sabers in Episode 3. It's basically what you have seen in previous Star Wars movies.) Well, I hope you post this and I hope you keep complete global control going forever! (SuperShadow: Always. There can be no doubt. The New World Order has already arrived. Hahaha.)
Hey what's up, SS? (SuperShadow: Rage on.) Two things, in Star Wars Episode 3, the people and some senators have to know the Jedi are the heroes and we have to see some Imperial evil against the citizens so when the Rebellion forms the New Republic, there won't be a rebellion against that too. (SuperShadow: Sweet.) People seemed to support the Rebels more than the Empire, give them reasons to.
Finally, you say the Sith and Dark Jedi cannot be Force spirits. Well if the Knights of the Old Republic video game is part of the story, than what about Ajunta Pall's spirit on Korriban or was it because he regretted his fall? (SuperShadow: That was officially a hologram projection and not a Sith ghost.) Thanks SS and keep ruling the world. (SuperShadow: On top perpetually. The Illuminati is eternal. Hahaha.)
SS, what’s the chance the story for Star Wars Episode 3 will change yet again before the movie is finished? (SuperShadow: None.) I think it’s all great, except for the light saber duel between Mace Windu and Anakin Skywalker / Darth Sidious. Why would Mace go to Palpatine by himself if he suspected him to be the Sith Lord? (SuperShadow: Windu takes several Jedi with him, but Sidious kills these well known Jedi Masters in a matter of seconds.)
Mace's a member of the Jedi Council for cryin’ out loud, if the apprentice killed Jedi Master Qui-Gon Jinn, wouldn't he think the Sith Master would be deadly enough to kill him? (SuperShadow: Point taken.)
I hope this finds you feeling healthy, SS. O.K., yet again, with the topic of a Mechanical Darth Vader fight scene. We NEED to see this. There are over 10,000 Jedi in the galaxy and storm troopers would only be able to deal with so much and locate so much without the Force. I’ve got a simple idea. Change the end of the Star Wars Episode 3 movie.
Instead of what it is now, just add a scene after wards showing Vader taking down a couple of Jedi, rather quickly and violently, and give him a line of: "Let the purge begin" or something half corny like that, but that Star Wars fans have come to love. (SuperShadow: Nice.) It doesn’t have to be anything epic, just 2 to 5 minutes at the end, and then fade to black with the Imperial March hearing a faint sound of Sidious cracking a laugh.
Problem solved. Simple and everyone can be happy. (SuperShadow: This will be forwarded to mastermind genius creator George Lucas.) We need to see Vader because that was pretty much the point of the first 3 Star Wars movies, the rise of the Empire and Vader. Ask all fans that have gone to these Star Wars prequel movies and over 90 percent would all say, I can’t wait to see Vader fight. Lucas: GIVE US THE VADER FIGHT! And 3 last things, I wish people would stop asking Star Wars expanded universe questions here involving the Star Wars novels and Dark Horse Star Wars comic books, no bearing on anything. (SuperShadow: True enough.)
2. Will we see the Imperial guards ever do anything other than stand there? (SuperShadow: Hahaha. Yoda fights some of the Supreme Chancellor guards before the Yoda vs. Darth Sidious light saber duel from Star Wars Episode 3.) 3. I gotta go with Yoda as the greatest Force user of all time. His knowledge of the Force to me would be far more vast than Luke Skywalker’s, giving Yoda a slight advantage in battle. Thank you, SS. I know this is long, but I don’t get to post much. Be well. (SuperShadow: Rock it. Yeah, satellite of love.)
What's up, Shadow? I am a fan from Durham, NC. I really enjoy the website. (SuperShadow: All do.) I have a few questions regarding Star Wars Episode 3. 1. Will the light sabre staff or double light sabre fighting forms be used? (SuperShadow: Probably not.) 2. Will many of the Jedi battle sequences show use of multiple Force powers? (SuperShadow: Yes.) 3. Will any Jedi survive or escape the Rise of the Empire without Vader or the Emperor 'sensing'? Please post, wise one. (SuperShadow: As far as we know, only Obi-Wan and Yoda survive the Jedi Massacre, but this topic could be explored in future Star Wars TV television series shows set after the Jedi Purge of Star Wars Episode 3.)

In essence, George Lucas is Darth Vader. Think about it. First he made great movies, in essence being a Jedi. The he turned to the dark side of the Force and made movies that weren’t that great (story and epic wise). Now if he can be turned back to the light side and give us a Vader fighting scene. He must be turned back. GIVE US VADER! (SuperShadow: Hahaha. Yeah, it would be great if Lucas actually cared.)
Darth Shadow. Thanks for putting out the best website on the web! (SuperShadow: The SS service to the world for eternity. Hahaha.) My questions are about the Star Wars sequel trilogy. (SuperShadow: Direct reference to Star Wars 7 8 9 Episodes 7 8 9.) Why will it take so long to produce (2014)? (SuperShadow: Lucas is burned out on Star Wars . . . yet again.) If Lucas is not going to do it, why must we wait ten years? (SuperShadow: Lucas wants a break between the Star Wars movie trilogies. It is a hallowed tradition for Lucas to wait 16 years between each Star Wars film trilogy.)
Also you mention the Star Wars original trilogy cast will come back? Are you guessing or have they expressed some sort of interest? (SuperShadow: From time to time, all have shown an interest in returning especially including Harrison Ford without doubt or question.) Is James Earl Jones coming back to do Vader's voice for Star Wars Episode 3 or will it be an imitator? (SuperShadow: It will be Jones.)
I hope it’s not like the "fill in" voice that was used for the special edition Star Wars Episode 5 The Empire Strikes Back that didn't match! (SuperShadow: Superb point, but is it actually possible for Lucas to make mistakes even theoretically? Hahaha.)
Lastly, you say the Star Wars expanded universe of novels and comic books doesn't represent real Star Wars history. But many things you refer to were established in the expanded universe - Coruscant, Mara Jade, Luke Skywalker and her getting married, their son Ben Skywalker, Han Solo and Princess Leia getting married, their kids Jacen, Jaina and Anakin Solo etc.
Why are these things real if they all came about in the expanded universe? (SuperShadow: Lucas likes to borrow certain ideas from the expanded universe in particular including what you mentioned. However, the expanded universe is official only if it appears in the Star Wars movies.) Keep deciding the daily fate of Humanity, but not at the expense of the best website on the web! (SuperShadow: Conspiracies and bizarre machinations always come first. Sorry. Hahaha. Wait a second. This indeed is no joking matter ? ? ?)
What’s up SS? (SuperShadow: All things.) A couple of weeks ago you commented that GL didn’t accept that Yoda killed a Dark Jedi in the cave on Dagaboh. This is supposed in Timothy Zahn’s Thrawn Trilogy of Star Wars books. But, awhile back you said GL accepted the 5 Thrawn books by Zahn as Star Wars history. Does he really accept them or not? (SuperShadow: Lucas accepts certain portions of the Zahn books as actual Star Wars history after they officially appear in the Star Wars movie trilogies.)
I’m confused. Does he accept the books, but not all the stuff in them? Please help me out here. Also could you name 2 or 3 more books GL accepts as Star Wars history. Thanks and may the Force be with you. (SuperShadow: The Zahn books are the only Star Wars expanded universe material that Lucas really likes except The Force Unleashed video games, which have their plot script story written by Lucas himself.)
If Luke Skywalker is the most powerful Jedi of all time, why was Luke getting his *** handed to him by the hero of the show, Palpatine? (SuperShadow: Luke believed that the will of the Force would save him from the Sith.) If it wasn’t for Benedict Vader, Luke would be dead but instead he used Force sneak (SuperShadow: Hahaha.) to throw the poor Palpatine, never done anything to anybody down a hole, did Vader forget all that the Palpatine had done for him? (SuperShadow: Vader didn't appreciate the true nature of reality. Hahaha.)
So the question is shouldn’t Palpatine be considered the most powerful Force user in the galaxy? (SuperShadow: Palpatine is probably the most powerful Force user until the rise of Luke Skywalker because Palpatine alone possesses the kyber crystal.) Because not only did he destroy the Jedi, he was also beating *** on the Jedi hero and his turncoat father.
Wouldn’t the rebels be considered nothing more than terrorists since Palpatine is the legit power? (SuperShadow: History is written by the winners.) If anything, Palpatine should be considered a hero for all he did for the Republic. (SuperShadow: Genius is rarely understood in its own time.)
What's shakin’, SS? (SuperShadow: SS has the best life ever.) So I absolutely have to know, are Darth Sidious and Palpatine the same person? Just kidding. In seriousness, has there ever been an explanation as to why Dark Jedi and Sith Lords, etc. haven't reappeared as Force spirits ghosts like Obi-Wan Kenobi and Qui-Gon Jinn, etc? Is it just one of those unspoken aspects of the dark side? (SuperShadow: Once an evil Force user leaves the living world, they are permanently obliterated from existence and have no way to return as dark side spirits or ghosts. There is no bodily resurrection or afterlife for the Dark Jedi and Sith.)
Also, I apologize in advance if you're asked this question constantly, but is there even the slightest chance Lucas will ever release the original Star Wars Episodes 4 - 6 as maybe a "Classic Edition" set. Some days, old timers like me feel like the old, sometimes the new. Thanks for the cool website, SS. (SuperShadow: In order to guarantee excessive profits for Lucasfilm, Lucas will eventually release the 1977, 1980 and 1983 theatrical versions of the Star Wars classic trilogy on DVD, but with absolutely no modifications. It will literally be the lame garbage crap originals you witnessed in your childhood nightmares in cineplexes theaters multiplexes worldwide. There will NEVER be a digital remastering of the pre 1997 Star Wars movie episodes.)
Hey SS, how's the New World Order Illuminati Supreme Global Puppet Masters world domination? (SuperShadow: Not what you expect in the end.) Anyway, I have heard heaps about how good the Anakin Skywalker vs. Obi-Wan duel is from Star Wars Episode 3 and how awesome the Yoda vs. Darth Sidious duel is as well, but what about Mace Windu vs. Anakin / Sidious? Please tell me Mace puts up a good fight before he dies, as he is supposed to be one of the most powerful Jedi. (SuperShadow: The Windu vs. Anakin showdown is totally rad. Windu goes down with all guns blazing. It's pretty amazing. Another mega classic George Lucas moment with no equal ever.)
Hey SS, what’s up, my SS (from Korea serving in the U.S. Air Force)? (SuperShadow: SS loves the United States Military.) Question. What exactly is the spice that is smuggled by Han Solo for Jabba the Hutt? (SuperShadow: Spice is a forbidden commodity banned by the Imperial government although Emperor Palpatine receives personal shipments of spice for his own reasons.)
Also, does Jabba the Hutt lick Princess Leia's face in Star Wars Episode 6 Return of the Jedi when C-3PO says: "I can't watch?" (SuperShadow: Not sure when this happens in the movie because you can't expect SS to watch the Star Wars saga films for the quadrillionth time. Hahaha. It's real. Watch Return of the Jedi to see it . . . again.)
Does he just like messing with his slave girls? (SuperShadow: Hahaha.) Thanks for giving me something to look forward to while I serve overseas. (SuperShadow: Just doing the SS duty as instructed by the Galactic Alien Extraterrestrial Overlords, who are very, very extremely much a given fact.) Rock on and God Bless AMERICA. (SuperShadow: Yeah, exactly as planned. More or less. Hahaha.)

Does the Force (partially at least) protect Anakin Skywalker when he falls into the lava in Star Wars Episode 3? (SuperShadow: Yes, the dark side of the Force helps protect Anakin from the lava flow until rescue is forthcoming in the form of the minions of Darth Sidious.) One minute in a super hot pool of noxious, flaming liquid which would obviously burn right through skin and organs, etc? (SuperShadow: The damage would be horrifying.)
Anakin has not yet totally fallen to the dark side so the life saving qualities of the light side of the Force can still protect him, right? (SuperShadow: Intense hatred, anger and the dark side combine to keep Anakin alive after he makes contact with the molten lava at the near end of Star Wars Episode 3.)
Hey Shadow, a major plot hole I could live with is Qui-Gon Jinn appearing as a Jedi ghost guiding Obi-Wan Kenobi. (SuperShadow: Nice idea.) I know he has not learned the technique to do this yet, but can we rule it out totally? (SuperShadow: Point taken. Qui-Gon might be the one that teaches Yoda, Obi-Wan and Anakin how to come back as Force spirits after becoming deceased. It has been confirmed that there will be no Qui-Gon in Star Wars Episode 3.)
If you already didn't see it, there is a 4 minutes trailer for the original Star Wars trilogy DVD set on ****.com. It's great! (SuperShadow: If it's the one from the official Star Wars website, then most of us have already seen it.)
Does Jar Jar Binks appear in Star Wars Episode 3? (SuperShadow: Yes, of course. Not much of a role though really.) Is the new Jedi star fighter a mix between the old star fighter and a tie fighter? (SuperShadow: Yes. The new Jedi star fighter sorta resembles an Imperial tie fighter to a degree with a mixture of the star destroyer look also.) I MUST HAVE KNOWLEDGE. (SuperShadow: Indeed. Knowledge is king.)
Greetings SS. How about this idea. At the end of the new Star Wars classic trilogy DVDs when Luke Skywalker sees his father, Obi-Wan and Yoda, Luke sees the whole Jedi Council, including Qui-Gon. (SuperShadow: Most excellent. This has been rumored for a very long time. Not sure if George Lucas wants to show more Jedi at the end of Star Wars Episode 6 Return of the Jedi. It most likely won't occur unless the Star Wars Ultra Edition 2017 eventually happens.)
Has Lucas ever mentioned doing these Star Wars sequel trilogies? (SuperShadow: Every now and again Lucas will talk about Star Wars Episodes 7 8 9. Since Lucas is becoming so mega ancient, he doesn't really plan into the far future anymore. Hahaha.) I mean when the Star Wars prequels are over it'll kind of be like the story is only 80 percent complete. (SuperShadow: Yeah, SS agrees. Star Wars Episode 7 The Hidden Circle is the second most anticipated sequel movie in the history of cinema after the Avatar 2 sequel film from revolutionary movie director James Cameron.)
I read the episode ideas on this website and am quite impressed. (SuperShadow: Pure genius. What can SS say? Lucas always saves his best ideas for the last Star Wars film trilogy.) Do you think he'll consider doing them after the Star Wars prequels? (SuperShadow: Lucas is going to leave producing the Star Wars sequel trilogy up to his children since Lucas is not guaranteed to be here by May 2021. For the time being, Lucas is completely focused on producing various Star Wars TV television series shows. Star Wars Episode 7 is in the distant future, which might not ever arrive or even exist.)
Hypothetically, who would be more powerful: Luke Skywalker in his prime or Anakin Skywalker had he been trained by Yoda and never left the Jedi Order? Thanks Supe. (SuperShadow: Obviously, Anakin would have become the most powerful Jedi of all time if Anakin had stayed with the Jedi and had his training completed by Yoda. No Jedi, not even Luke, can be superior in power to the Chosen One from the Jedi prophecy of the one, who will bring balance to the Force be destroying the Sith Lords for all eternity.)
You have mentioned that Lucas liked the story to the Knights of the Old Republic video game so much that he claims it to be actual history. Will the same go for Knight of the Old Republic 2? (SuperShadow: Doubtful. It's not popular enough with the fans.) Along with there additions to the video game such as Force crush, silver bladed light sabers and light sabers with a triangular blade (broad at the base / narrow at the point). (SuperShadow: Lucas does not agree with such new ideas.)
Hey SS. Awesome website. (SuperShadow: The best ever. None are close.) I don't have a Star Wars Episode III question right now, I like suspense. But could you please tell me a little more about how you know Lucas? I heard he was very private and didn't confide his ideas in anyone. Thanks. (SuperShadow: Anyone that claims that Lucas is a recluse does not know the real George Lucas. In the early 1990's, Lucas saw several of the SS produced extraterrestrial alien documentaries on DVD. As a result, Lucas was confronted with the absolutely terrifying truth about all powerful aliens extraterrestrials. He was so fascinated by the subject that he contacted SS for additional info. The rest is well known history, which altered the destiny of the fate for the entire world.)
SuperShadow, greetings from merry old England. I was wondering if you, in your infinite knowledge, could clear this up for me. Is it generally known, throughout the Empire, that Emperor Palpatine is a Force user? (SuperShadow: No, the high ranking members of the Empire do not know that Palpatine uses the Force. Since the demise of the Jedi, the Force has become a joke to the leaders of the Empire. Only Vader is known to still practice the laughable religion known as the Force.) Or does it remain a guarded secret? (SuperShadow: Palpatine keeps his mastery of the dark side a complete mystery hidden from the citizens of the Imperial galaxy.)
I am, of course, referring to the comment made by Grand Moff Tarkin in Star Wars Episode IV A New Hope during his conversation with Darth Vader. "The Jedi are extinct, their fire has gone out of the Universe. You, my friend, are all that's left of their religion." Please advise, thanks. (SuperShadow: Yeah, that's an entirely accurate observation by Tarkin. The Force has become silliness by the time of the Star Wars classic movies. It's great importance has been forgotten as planned by Darth Sidious to make sure there would never be any Force sentients to challenge the reign of the Sith Lords.)
What is thy bidding, my master? I have been brooding for some time now in regards to the Mechanical Vader fight scenes and have come to the conclusion that it is okay with me if we do not see one. What makes Vader so awesome is his intimidation factor, not his light saber duels. Just the breathing alone in Star Wars Episode IV, V and VI would bring me chills. Put that together with his deliberate mannerisms and his propensity for choking people and I would be satisfied.
All I do ask the big man for is significant screen time for our Dark Lord, but I imagine he won’t even give us that. (SuperShadow: Mechanical Vader's time on screen in Star Wars Episode 3 is fleeting. Basically, Mechanical Vader doesn't appear until the final moments of Star Wars Episode 3.) Please tell me this movie is not going to be a huge let down, Master? And may the Force be with you! (SuperShadow: Overall, you are gonna love Episode 3. The action sequences are non stop with many, many light saber action sequences.)
Just wondering that the room in Mustafar is it gray with a table and chairs all around. Also little windows around with lava surrounding. Thanks. (SuperShadow: The planet Mustafar is an intensely hostile environment, which is the perfect birth place for the Mechanical Darth Vader.)
A question for you oh great SS, does Lucas watch the original Star Wars trilogy anytime to get ideas to parallel in the Star Wars prequels, like have you noticed in Star Wars Episode II Attack of the Clones how when at Anakin and Padme's wedding, they are both looking forward with See Threepio and Artoo Detoo beside them, just like when Luke Skywalker and Princess Leia are looking out at the stars in Star Wars Episode 5 The Empire Strikes Back. Threepio and Artoo are there also. (SuperShadow: Lucas doesn't really need to watch the classic trilogy given he has watched it dozens upon dozens of times since the inception of Star Wars Episode 4 A New Hope.)
If Lucas does refer back to the Star Wars originals at all, why can he not do a better job of not creating plot errors? Thanks! (SuperShadow: Superb question. It seems that Lucas doesn't really care about making plot mistakes. He seems to just do whatever he wants regardless of how it contradicts the classic trilogy. Lucas doesn't care what we think.) Control reality for me, Shades. (SuperShadow: As it will be forever and ever. Amen.)
Hey Supes, nice AC/DC reference yesterday: "number one with a bullet? You're a power pack!" (SuperShadow: AC/DC rulz.) Speaking of bullets and power packs, how would a light saber do at deflecting / stopping a bullet? (SuperShadow: A light saber could easily stop a bullet.) I wonder if the lead would bounce off, vaporize or shoot right through? (SuperShadow: Probably vaporized.)
Does a light saber blade have mass? (SuperShadow: The blade has the mass of ordinary plasma energy.) Does it generate heat (I think not on its own, only when in contact with something)? (SuperShadow: Yes, the light saber blade is somewhat hot, but the light saber handle protects the Jedi and Sith from the intense heat of the light saber blade itself.) What, exactly, is the blade made of (don't say "energy", you can do better than that!)? (SuperShadow: Plasma based origin.)
All I know for sure is that they are made of an "arcing" type of energy, running around to complete a circuit (kind of like a chainsaw blade). No stop signs, speed limits. (SuperShadow: To the max.)
SS, the DVDs of the Star Wars classic trilogy better have the special editions. Please tell me they do. (SuperShadow: Yes, the September 2004 DVD release of the classic trilogy showcases the 1997 special editions. The original version of the classic trilogy from 1977, 1980 and 1983 will not be made available on DVD until later on. Only the special edition represents Lucas' true vision of Star Wars.)
Also, have you seen all the art? Not just the DVD box, but the individual boxes of the movies. (SuperShadow: Most certainly.)
All Hail the Planet King! (SuperShadow: SS is the New World Order.) Just a quick question regarding Star Wars Episode 3. Will the Anakin vs. Obi-Wan light saber duel be non stop or will the movie go back and forth to other scenes like in Star Wars Episode 1 The Phantom Menace? (SuperShadow: The Anakin vs. Obi-Wan light saber duel is interrupted by other happenings around the galaxy.) Dominate reality for Texas! (SuperShadow: Will do. Consider it done.)
Here's a response to the fan's comments about the classic trilogy blunders. 1. Obi-Wan used his light saber in the cantina because there was no other way to defend himself from the alien's blaster. (SuperShadow: SS guesses so.) Obi-Wan had to do it or else he would have been killed. (SuperShadow: Perhaps.) 2. Obi-Wan didn't bother to change his surname because he lived in the middle of nowhere in peace for twenty years.
Then again, I'd actually prefer he'd change his surname and Luke would be Lars instead of Skywalker while on Tatooine. (SuperShadow: All their names should have been changed. Lucas is making up Star Wars as he goes along so not much of it will make any sense.) 3. Yoda and his species have a unique speech pattern that they cannot change, so they must say their sentences backwards their whole lives. You even told us that. (SuperShadow: Yeah, you're right.)
Hey SS, is it safe to believe that Obi-Wan and Yoda could’ve defeated Darth Sidious together in Star Wars Episode 3? (SuperShadow: Yes, SS knows this to be true. Obi-Wan and Yoda together could probably defeat Sidious.)
Hey SS. I read on your website recently that Lucas is going to completely redo the Vader vs. Obi-Wan duel from Star Wars Episode 4 in CG (SuperShadow: Computer generated imagery.) for the Star Wars Ultra Edition. (SuperShadow: Very correct.) I am thinking that Lucas is doing this so he can make a better and faster light saber duel. (SuperShadow: Exactly.)
So, since Lucas is doing this, there would be no inconsistencies having Vader fight amazingly with a light saber in Star Wars Episode 3. (SuperShadow: Point taken.) So there is no reason now for Lucas not to include a Mechanical Vader fight in Star Wars Episode 3, right? Thanks SS! (SuperShadow: Your reasoning makes sense, but Lucas is very, very extremely hesitant of creating the greatest action sequence of all time in history ever. If Lucas included a Mechanical Vader vs. Jedi battle in Star Wars Episode 3, it would overshadow the entire movie.)
The worst plot error of all the Star Wars movies has the potential to be cleared up in Star Wars Episode III if Lucas knows what is good for him! The Separatist battle droids in the Star Wars prequels totally rule compared to classic storm troopers. If the Sith take control so handily, why do they abandon these dominant droids? (SuperShadow: Hmmm. Interesting.)
Especially, the destroyers and the super battle droids. (SuperShadow: Good point.) I guess it is true that the classic trilogy never shows any ground battles on a planet controlled by the Empire and there would be no need for these crazy droids to be on the death star. Either way, Lucas should show another scene (parallel to Star Wars Episode 1) that shows the Jedi figuring out a way to stop the droids electronically, rendering them useless. (SuperShadow: Sweet.)
Kind of like what the Jawas had to stop R2-D2 in his tracks in Star Wars Episode 4 A New Hope. If the Jedi had this, they could achieve a small victory for a dark Star Wars Episode 3 and the Empire would a have a logical reason for going with the obviously inferior storm troopers. By the way, in Lucas' defense, there is not a single plot hole that cannot be explained away by the Force, luck or coincidence (all central themes in Star Wars). Even the one that I just outlined! Thanks for posting my insightful comment. Your wisdom is clear to all. (SuperShadow: Thanks for your contribution to SS.com. You will become legend.)
Perhaps this has been offered before, but someone asked for an explanation as to why in Star Wars Episodes 4 - 6 the technology in the galaxy seems to be in decline. One reason could be that all the available resources and tax funds are being used in the creation of two death stars. (SuperShadow: Brilliant deduction. This could be the reason. Maintaining the Imperial military across the galaxy would be expensive.)
If Emperor Palpatine is comparable to a Roman Emperor in Rome's period of decline, high taxes were affecting every aspect of life for the common person (alien life form) during his reign. (SuperShadow: Pure genius on your part.) This would also explain the need for smugglers like Han Solo and others.
Not that Star Wars should be like Rocket Robin Hood, but it would be interesting if they mentioned that galactic taxes would be increased as an announcement in a Senate scene perhaps just as the Senate is being diminished by decree and regional control is to be given to hand picked Imperial Overlords. It would also explain why the Emperor would be so loathed even in the outer rims. (SuperShadow: Great examination. Your ideas will be sent to the mastermind genius creator in charge.)

Hey Supa Dupa. Got an idea to relate Coruscant to Star Wars Episode 4, 5 and 6. How about if Coruscant is so war torn by the formation of the Empire that it is no longer inhabitable, so the planet has to be evacuated using city escape pods. These pods are the size of entire cities that take off into the galaxy. One of these pods could be Cloud City in Star Wars Episode 5 The Empire Strikes Back. (SuperShadow: Sounds like a Boston music album cover from the 1970's. Anyway, you have an excellent idea. It will be forwarded to the one and only.)
Hey, hey, hey SS, will General Grievous have any dialogue or a voice in any form? (SuperShadow: Yes, Grievous has a voice and also has several lines of dialogue in Star Wars Episode 3.) If so, do you have any idea what he sounds like? (SuperShadow: Grievous sounds very foreboding in the same category as Darth Vader with a slight cough.) And if not, how does he communicate his strategies and orders to his droid machine army? Thanks. (SuperShadow: Grievous can download his strategic plans through his cyborg brain to his Separatist military.)
I just want to know what Star Wars special edition ad ins have been altered and any confirmed additions? Thanks SS. (SuperShadow: As of today, Lucas has made no changes to the special edition of the classic Star Wars trilogy for the September 2004 DVD release. Eventually Lucas will add a new Darth Sidious for Star Wars Episode 5 The Empire Strikes Back and Hayden Christensen as the Anakin Skywalker Jedi ghost from Star Wars Episode 6 Return of the Jedi. The prayers of Star Wars fans actually answered for once. Hahaha.)
Hey SS, I feel like I'm beating a dead horse, (SuperShadow: Guns N Roses song.) BUT we don't necessarily have to see Mechanical Vader wielding a light saber to kick ***. (SuperShadow: Interesting.) He could be just extremely vicious with his Force powers, which wouldn't be inconsistent with the original Star Wars trilogy either. (SuperShadow: According to the SS Star Wars Episode 3 plot summary, Vader does unleash great Force powers near the end of Star Wars Episode 3 related to the fate of Padme Amidala.)
Vader doesn't have to do any flips or anything, just be slow, methodical and mean. (SuperShadow: Good show.) It would also be a nice contrast to see him more patient and methodical rather than the headstrong Anakin we've seen so far. Also, the guy's missing a lot of his original limbs, we don't expect him to come flying out of the gate.
It would be cool just to see Vader striking down one Jedi with his light saber too (after applying a Force choke or doing a light saber throw - just like in Return of the Jedi). This could take one minute tops and still give us what we want to see as well as preserving the consistency between the two Star Wars movie trilogies. (SuperShadow: Sounds pretty tangular.) Thanks SS and have a good one. (SuperShadow: The next one is for you.)
Hey SS, it’s Australian Michael from Monaco. Just discovered your website a week ago. I think you could be a clone of George Lucas! (SuperShadow: SS is much too good looking to be Lucas.) This is how you know so much. Anyway think I have an error in Star Wars Episode IV A New Hope. Why do they orbit the moon with the death star at the end and not just destroy it so they can destroy Yavin and the rebel base? (SuperShadow: The official explanation is that the planet in between the death star and Yavin 4 was a gas giant that could not be destroyed by the death star’s turbo laser.)
Hi, Sups! Continuing to hit the political machinations for the whole world as usual? (SuperShadow: As expected and much more.) Anyhow, how do you think would all the six Star Wars movies look like if each one had been filmed as long as Godfather II (192 minutes) and contained the same complex depth for each character? (SuperShadow: If the Star Wars films copied the Godfather plot formula, then Star Wars would be lame garbage crap with negative box office grosses. The Godfather films are slow and boring. The Godfather trilogy performed poorly at the box office compared to the Star Wars movie franchise.)
This way, we could have more light saber duels in them too. (SuperShadow: SS would love for the Star Wars films to each be over 3 hours in running time length, but this is not Lucas' style because it's too expensive.) For example, we could have Prince Xizor integrated as a lateral story in Star Wars Episode V, adding another villain and more insight about Vader, by which at the middle of the movie we would have more action.
A Xizor vs. Vader duel, the destruction of the Skyhook and so when Luke Skywalker went to confront Vader we would be more excited as we would already have seen how severe was the 45 years old experienced Sith Lord against Xizor and how he just escaped him! Can Lucas add these super scenes to the 2017 edition? (SuperShadow: It's possible, but probably no Xizor from the Shadows of the Empire.)
Lucas can do this because he will only add them, not make any changes to the original scenes. Rock on! (SuperShadow: Changes of this magnitude might have to wait until the time ILM (Industrial Light and Magic) develops photo realistic computer animation at bargain basement prices. This kind of technology might not exist until 2030 or later (if ever).)
Hey SS. I wrote a great script for an episode between A New Hope and The Empire Strikes Back, which could be used for Star Wars cartoon TV shows or something like that. (SuperShadow: Killer cool. It would be nice to know exactly what takes place in between each episode of the Star Wars classic trilogy.)
But I don’t know how to send it to you because it’s too long to write you just here in this forum. I can just tell you that it's going on about rebels escape from Yavin 4 and Yoda’s revenge fight with Darth Sidious. The storyline is awesome too. Please post this. (SuperShadow: Fantastic. You must be a massive mega genius.)
I heard of a rumor about a death in Star Wars Episode 3. Supposedly, the Jedi with the big head and white beard who (SuperShadow: Ki Adi Mundi) is on the Jedi Council gets hit by a star ship on purpose and dies. Is this rumor true? (SuperShadow: Plo Koon is killed while piloting a Jedi star fighter. Ki Adi Mundi is apparently eliminated by clone troops.)
Hey SS, please post this. (SuperShadow: O.K.) I have a question and a suggestion: How long is Anakin in the lava for? (SuperShadow: The Mustafar lava catches Anakin on fire. Pretty intense.) And please ask Lucas to add some mention of Qui-Gon Jinn into the Star Wars Ultra Edition. (SuperShadow: Will do. George Lucas will follow our orders. Hahaha.)
I mean, Qui-Gon did play a pivotal role in the finding of Anakin, etc. Obi-Wan Kenobi could say to Luke Skywalker: "My old Master wanted to train Anakin, when he perished. I fulfilled his only wish" or something like that. Thanks! (SuperShadow: Awesome dialogue. You have a real gift for writing Star Wars adventures.)
I have something that might help LukasMac from St. Louis, if you could post this, SS. (SuperShadow: With distinction. Hahaha.) Greater detail on the history of the Jedi and Sith can be found in the Star Wars comics, which date back thousands of years before the Star Wars prequel trilogy. (SuperShadow: The Dark Horse Star Wars comic books do not represent true Star Wars history based on the vision of George Lucas. SS will NEVER be able to stop laughing at this naivety.) They usually talk about certain characters in detail, which I thought was very interesting. Hope this helps you, LukasMac! Thanks if you post this, SS! Keep up with the hard work! (SuperShadow: SS.com continues until the Fifth Coming.)
(Star Wars Episode 7: "Jason Horne") (Dance music in Dark Jedi Temple for Mind Control). I was at the gym last night, when the theme song from "Footloose" came over the loudspeakers. (SuperShadow: Kenny Loggins.) Lots and lots of bass. (SuperShadow: The SS fave Loggins' song is Danger Zone from the Top Gun movie soundtrack.) A low rumble and then a dance rhythm. (SuperShadow: Hmmm.)
You can't listen to that song without picturing yourself dancing. (SuperShadow: Dance the night away.) It would be cool if Jason came to his father's wedding or went to one of the Temples at night and "Footloose" (or something like it) was playing. (SuperShadow: Hahaha.) And everyone is out on the dance floor, taking turns, as if they're best friends who have known each other for years.
The underlying idea is that the Dark Jedi are using the music to reinforce their mind control, that music accesses some part of our brains that keeps playing the song over and over again inside our heads. (SuperShadow: Mind control is so very, very extremely real. You can control entire worlds utilizing thought control technology exactly as envisioned by The Wall.)
And the music is part of the hypnotic commands, so you're in effect repeating the command every time you hear the song in your head. O.K., I'm sure Kenny Loggins doesn't want the song in a "Star Wars," but that's the type of dance song they're playing. Something that makes you get out on the floor and swing. (SuperShadow: Pop songs in a Star Wars movie would be a total disaster.)
Greetings. I must commend you on this excellent and thorough website. (SuperShadow: SS.com being the number one most popular and most visited Star Wars website is no accident.) I have only just recently discovered you so apologies in advance if any of the following points have already been made.
1. Why is Ben Kenobi, a Jedi fugitive keeping low for fear of Imperial forces bent on destroying all Jedi Knights, so casual about whipping out his light saber to the public view of the Mos Eisley Cantina?
(Enough time has passed to make the Jedi a forgotten thing of the past?) (SuperShadow: Hahaha. Most excellent. It does seem that using a light saber would draw attention to yourself. SS thinks for certain that the reason Obi-Wan utilizes the light saber in the cantina is because it makes for such a superior killer cool scene when Obi-Wan cuts off the creature's arm. This is a potential plot tragedy.)
2. Why does he retain his surname all those years? (Perhaps Kenobi is the Star Was universe equivalent of Smith or Jones.) (SuperShadow: Again, this is hilarious. Obi-Wan is being hunted by the Empire yet he doesn't even bother to take an alias. Plot destruction as usual?) 3. 900 years is enough time for even Chewbacca to learn proper English, let alone a Jedi Master with the third highest midichlorian count.
May I suggest that the mysterious force interfering with the Jedi Council's powers is also responsible for messing up Yoda's ability to form a decent sentence. (SuperShadow: Hahaha. Witty to the max. You are very talented.) Anyway keep up the great work! The world needs you. (SuperShadow: SS is the most important Star Wars fan of all time.)
Hey SS, will the Star Wars Episode 3 Vader sound the same as the Vader in Star Wars Episode 4 - 6? (SuperShadow: Yes, the Episode 3 Vader voice and breathing is identical to the iconic Vader voice and breathing from the classic trilogy.) I hope Vader will still sound bad ***. (SuperShadow: No need to worry.)
SuperShadow, greetings from Portugal. We unfortunately lost to Greece in soccer recently. (SuperShadow: SS was hoping Portugal would win it all.) Anyways, what will General Grievous fighting style be like? (SuperShadow: It's hard to describe. Grievous has a very unique and mechanical fighting style. Grievous twirls his light sabers extremely rapidly. This cyborg is able to fight with four light sabers ignited simultaneously.) Will he overwhelm the Jedi? (SuperShadow: Yes, usually Grievous is too much for the average Jedi to handle until destiny finally arrives with Obi-Wan Kenobi.)
| Wednesday, October 6, 2010 - They started the endless nightmare, but who can end it ? |
|
What's up, SS? (SuperShadow: Controlling the space time continuum, of course. The Carolina Panthers with zero wins and 4 losses. It can only get worse and still even worse if such were conceivable. Hahaha.) I know people have asked you about who would win in light saber battles between certain people. My question has to do with light side and dark side of the Force strengths having to do with Force lightning. I'm gonna ask which light side Jedi could block Force lightning with their hand like Yoda did and which dark side Jedi or Sith can perform Force lightning. (SuperShadow: Sounds fascinating.)
Could Darth Vader in the Star Wars classic trilogy do Force lightning? (SuperShadow: Yes, certainly. No one disputes this proven fact.) Could Luke Skywalker block Force lightning by Star Wars Episode 7 or sooner? (SuperShadow: Luke mastered the ability to block Force lightning within a few months after Star Wars Episode 6 Return of the Jedi.) Could Mace Windu block it? (SuperShadow: Yes, partially as revealed in Star Wars Episode 3.) Could Obi-Wan Kenobi block it by Star Wars Episode 3? (SuperShadow: Yes.)
Could Anakin Skywalker block it by Star Wars Episode 3? (SuperShadow: Probably not. Anakin never became a Jedi Master.) Could Vader do it by Star Wars Episode 3? (SuperShadow: No.) Could Darth Maul do it? (SuperShadow: Yes.) Could Qui-Gon Jinn block it? (SuperShadow: Yep.) Could General Grievous do it? (SuperShadow: Oh yeah with certain ease.) Hope you answer and share your knowledge with us all. One more thing, what's up with Force fireballs? Can any Jedi do it? (SuperShadow: Just about any Jedi and Sith can create Force fireballs.)
Does it come out like Force lightning does from the hand? (SuperShadow: The Force fireballs emanate from the palms of the hands.) How come we haven't seen it on film? (SuperShadow: Lucas wants to save some of these Force powers for a possible Star Wars TV television series show.) Thanks SS, keep owning reality! (SuperShadow: It's what we do.)
(COMING ATTRACTIONS: Ad for the Knights of the Old Republic: Sith War) Just read a short picture book on the Mythology in Star Wars. There are certain classical elements. The hero is often a young, untested boy from a poor family, who has no hope for his future. He receives a Call to Adventure, in form of message delivered by R2-D2. He meets an older mentor (Kenobi) who imparts knowledge and dies.
He goes into a dark place, usually a forest, where he confronts his inner fears and learns a lesson. He rescues a Princess chained to a rock from a ferocious sea serpent (or King Kong.) He receives an amulet, a magic sword or a cloak of invisibility. (SuperShadow: Master blaster supreme.)
Also, I'd like to see a scene where the young boy is holding a sword, senses alert, looking for his opponent, and a door opens silently behind him and there is a huge robot, something too large to be damaged by his sword, with a fierce face or a blinking light instead of a face and the boy never sees the robot reach out with one arm. (SuperShadow: Very scary.)
And then the scene cuts, so we never find out what happened to him. Not sure exactly what these would look like in the Knights of the Old Republic, but those are the classic elements, the ones to focus on. Particularly the heroine chained to the rock as a sacrifice to the huge sea monster. Haven't seen that one before in Star Wars and I have no idea how to work it into a story line. But this trailer doesn't need to follow a plot, it's all a tease. (SuperShadow: Your ideas will be sent to LucasArts.)
Who would win in a fight, Yoda or Jesus? (SuperShadow: Well, since Jesus Christ is a supernatural entity, it would seem unlikely that Yoda would stand a chance against such a Heavenly being.)
What kind of scenes can we expect to see modified in Star Wars Episode 6 Return of the Jedi? (SuperShadow: Lucas is going to show more of Coruscant in Star Wars Episode 6.) I hope the Rancor is given a makeover, but not replaced. (SuperShadow: Yeah, the Rancor needs to be redone with modern computer animation. The current Rancor looks like a muppet. Very silly to look at. An embarrassment for all Star Wars fans.) And something needs to be done with those **** Ewoks. Perhaps they could be given blasters just don't replace them. (SuperShadow: Not sure what Lucas can do with the Ewoks. They're really sorta classic in retrospect.)
Green Lantern asks: Will Anakin at any time in Star Wars Episode III be in Sith robes? (SuperShadow: Doubtful. Anakin basically goes from wearing Jedi robes to the Darth Vader mask and armor.) I don't think anyone has asked this question. Also, how will Yoda (being the weaker of the two) face off with Darth Sidious in the film?
I believe you would agree that Yoda could have easily beaten Count Dooku if Dooku hadn't pulled a ***** move to get away. I'm sure the light saber duel will not only explain why the Emperor is disfigured (already confirmed), but also why he can barely walk in the Star Wars classic trilogy. Peace. (SuperShadow: The Yoda vs. Sidious duel is extremely violent. Both sides are greatly weakened by the intense battle.)
Hey Supes! LukasMac from St. Louis here. Love your website and keep up the good work. A few things to comment on if I may. 1). I am getting the sense (maybe it's my Jedi senses) that this whole supposed future Star Wars Trilogy Ultra Edition and the more future Super Duper Mega Ultra Edition will never be created. (SuperShadow: Who amongst us can see the future with perfect clarity?)
Just your way of saying that GL and his employees will keep remaking and re mastering the Star Wars Trilogy for more cash until there’s not a hint of the original Star Wars Trilogy scenes in the movies. Am I wrong? (SuperShadow: Lucas is planning to continue to alter and change aspects of the Star Wars classic trilogy until the very day he joins the choir invisible.) Just finding it humorous that visitors are submitting ideas as if what you said was gospel.
I do believe with the different movie formats in the future (mini disc DVDs or maybe small microchip movies) Star Wars will adapt. 2). I find your history on the Jedi and Sith intriguing. Where can I find the resources to delve further into it? (SuperShadow: That's it. There is no other source of material explaining the early days of the Jedi and Sith. It's another SS.com exclusive based on the overly ingenious vision of George Lucas.) 3). In the Star Wars prequels, I find the lack of the multiple story lines a weak point (plus some horrid lines).
In the Star Wars original trilogy, you had Han Solo flying off in his star ship, Luke Skywalker battling the dark side of the Force, the Rebellion fights the Empire and C-3PO and R2-D2 beeping and barking at each other virtually at the same moment in the movie. (SuperShadow: Great memories.) This made for great non stop action that gave the viewer a pause for comedy and the occasional serious moment. There was no real extended "downtime" in the movies.
Star Wars Episode 1 and Episode 2 attempted multiple story lines, but unfortunately they had a serious storyline coupled with another serious storyline coupled with another serious storyline. Thus, it gave you a lot of talking. I hope Star Wars Episode 3 has a well mixed multiple storyline format. Thanks Supes. P.S. I know this is long as ****, so feel free to cut out what you want if you do post this. (SuperShadow: SS posted your comment in its entirety with no artistic restrictions. You had a lot of good things to share with your fellow fans. We salute you despite the silliness involved. Hahaha.)
Hey SS, I wonder could you talk a little bit about how the new Star Wars DVDs of the classic trilogy are looking and sounding, but not in general we want details baby details. (SuperShadow: Hahaha. Well, there's not a whole lot to tell you. The visual look of the films has been maximized with digital technology in the form of remastering. Likewise, THX Sound has done a fantastic job with the audio tracks of the classic trilogy. In short, the classic trilogy DVDs will be the best presentation of the Star Wars movies that you will ever experience prior to the Bluray release. SS hopes reality doesn't vanish before they arrive. Hahaha.)
Greetings Shady One. It would be nice to know how Obi-Wan gets Anakin's blue bladed light sabre (some great fan ideas so far), but I don't think we need any explanation of why Ben says: "Your father wanted you to have this." It is most likely just another harmless deception by an aging Kenobi, ensuring that Luke Skywalker doesn't refuse the gift.
Lucas should leave this as is. Rock on S.S. (SuperShadow: Intriguing idea. Maybe less is more. Lucas will create even bigger problems if he tries some kind of original way to explain how Obi-Wan got Anakin's light saber and also why Anakin wanted the light saber to be given to Luke. It's better to have Obi-Wan just pick the light saber off the ground after defeating Anakin at the end of Star Wars Episode 3.)
Hey SuperShadow. Everyone is going on about that Mechanical Vader fighting in Star Wars Episode 3. I think that one person was right about that. Here’s my opinion. They should show the Mechanical Vader in Star Wars Episode 3, but he should not be fighting. Instead have him be in a star ship overlooking the construction of the death star. He should be holding his new light saber with pride since Obi-Wan has the other light saber.
And besides, he shouldn’t fight because, well, he just got burnt to a crisp, revived, went to the dark side of the Force and put on life support. (SuperShadow: These are all valid reasons as to why Vader is unable to fight at the end of Star Wars Episode 3.) I would be pretty tired for quite some time if that had happened to me. Thanks SuperShadow! You rock and it would be an honor if you would post this. I think. (SuperShadow: Your dreams have finally come true. A single prayer is answered by Heaven once every trillion trillion eons. Hahaha to infinity.)
Hey SuperShadow! When exactly will Lucas begin filming new scenes for the Star Wars Ultra Edition? (SuperShadow: 2017.) Will GL take any fan input? (SuperShadow: Yeah, a little fan input here or there. Send in your genius ideas today.) I like two other posters would love a scene involving Boba Fett escaping the Sarlacc Pit. (SuperShadow: Magnificent idea.)
After we see the heroes zoom away on their hovercraft skiffs, the next image we see is the Pit of Carkoon with the wreckage of Jabba the Hutt's sail barge all around. Next there is an explosion from inside the Sarlacc. We hear the Sarlacc itself let out a scream as tentacles and sand go flying. Fett rockets out of the pit and lands feet first outside the pit covered in dust. (SuperShadow: Excellent.)
He looks around at the wreckage about him and removes his helmet revealing the furious face of Jango Fett. That’s my take on the scene. Please make it happen! Keep dominating the planet for eternity, my friend! (SuperShadow: Your idea will be forwarded to the eccentric flanneled one.)
Not to be a party pooper, but I saw some behind the scenes footage of the making of Star Wars Episode III. The whole big rumpus about Anakin’s hair style, how they opted for the 1980's style ala Ug from Critters, over the bald head-with a lil' pony-tail in the middle like Tong-po from Kickboxer. (SuperShadow: Hahaha.)
How General Grievous' ultimate appearance (white) was a last minute decision. (SuperShadow: Tres cool.) I also saw Ewan McGregor and Hayden Christensen rehearsing the epic fight scene. At the end of which George Lucas himself said: "and that’s when Obi-Wan picks up the light saber that will eventually be given to Luke and just walks off." That's it! (SuperShadow: In true legendary Lucas style.)
No big ironic coincidence, no Force pull, no he left it with Padme and Darth Sidious gave him a new Sith light saber, nothing. Anakin drops it when he falls into the lava pit. Don’t believe me folks? Go to *****.com/episode-iii/ and see for yourself. It’s a drag though, my "Force pull in the heat of battle, to turn the tide" idea was brilliant. (SuperShadow: Thanks for the info.)
Greetings oh Shadowy One. I request that you post this. I wanted to add another plot flaw to the many that have been posted. How is it that in Return of the Jedi when Luke and the others get past Vader's star ship that no one on the Endor base questions where the shuttle is? I mean come on. Can you honestly say that the almighty Empire was mistaken enough to let a shuttle get past their shields and not know if it actually got to its destination? (SuperShadow: Hahaha. Good one. Obviously, somebody would have been tracking where that shuttle was going. SS thinks you have found another common sense error in the Star Wars films. The nightmare never ends if it could actually get started. Hahaha.)
Hey SS, c’mon post my comments! Even the Force will bend to the will of the United States Military! (SuperShadow: The Force is our slave.) Please rank the greatest Star Wars light saber duels! Can you also give your special view on where the Star Wars Episode III duels will rank? I put Vader vs. Luke (Return of the Jedi) first, Maul vs. Obi-Wan Kenobi / Qui-Gon Jinn in second, and Vader vs. Luke (The Empire Strikes Back) third. (SuperShadow: 1. Obi-Wan vs. Anakin (Star Wars Episode 3). 2. Yoda vs. Sidious (Episode 3). 3. Obi-Wan vs. General Grievous (Episode 3). 4. Obi-Wan and Qui-Gon vs. Darth Maul (The Phantom Menace). 5. Yoda vs. Dooku / Darth Tyranus (Attack of the Clones). None of the Star Wars classic duels are worth mentioning.)
Supes, I have a question about the Star Wars Ultra Edition 2017. Is GL only gonna rework Star Wars Episode IV? (SuperShadow: No, each original Star Wars film will be modified in an attempt to follow the perfection of the Star Wars prequel trilogy.)
All the scenes you have talked about are in A New Hope. (SuperShadow: True enough if insanity ruled the Multiverse. Hahaha.) Are there gonna be any modifications and additions to Star Wars Episodes V and VI? If so, what are they? (SuperShadow: Beyond the imagination.) Keep on owning the Earth with absolutely no mercy not even theoretically, symbolically or figuratively. (SuperShadow: The aliens extraterrestrials are invincible. No hyperbole.)
Hey Sups, in the Star Wars Ultra Edition, I think they should put Mon Mothma into it and show Palpatine dissolving the Imperial Senate. (SuperShadow: Fantastic ideas.) Palpatine could kill them all using dark side powers. (SuperShadow: Killer cool.) I also think that we should see more of Coruscant and Naboo and other worlds for Star Wars Episodes I, II and III should be seen in the victory celebration in Return of the Jedi. Please say some of these will be done. Thanks and keep the Illuminati on top. (SuperShadow: Your mega fine ideas will be forwarded to Skywalker Ranch immediately.)
Hey SS! I've tried to post many, many, many times, but never got up here, so please post this. (SuperShadow: By your command.) In the Star Wars Ultra Edition of the classic trilogy in 2017, will it be almost the same scripts as the original? (SuperShadow: Yes, almost all the same.)
Also when is Lucas planning to make Star Wars Episodes 7, 8, and 9, if the Ultra Trilogy is coming out in 2017? (SuperShadow: Star Wars Episode 7 won't begin pre production until 2014 at the very earliest.) And in Star Wars Episode 3, why does Anakin have long hair when in Return of the Jedi he has no hair? Are they going to change this on the classic trilogy DVD? (SuperShadow: All of Anakin's head hair gets burned off when Anakin is consumed by fire at the conclusion of Star Wars Episode 3.)
New World Order forever! (SuperShadow: An undisputed given.) Now that I have your attention. (SuperShadow: Hey, you tricked SS. Hahaha.) I have a question. Will Hayden Christensen play off the Vader transformation well? (SuperShadow: Yes, it's intense. Mastermind genius creator George Lucas never makes errors.) Because I don't see how a whining backstreet boy Anakin Skywalker can become the ultimate bad ***. I hope Hayden leaves the pretty boy crap behind and gets in character for Darth Vader. (SuperShadow: Trust me. Vader is no nice one.)
Will Star Wars Episode 4 - 6 ever be redone using today’s modern technology and new actors? (SuperShadow: Probably not. Lucas dreams of completely remaking the classic trilogy with photo realistic computer animation. Such technology does not yet exist and may never exist in Lucas' life time at an affordable price.)
Hey dude, Ant here from Manchester, England. (SuperShadow: Manchester United rocks.) I can’t wait for Star Wars Episode 3 and the Star Wars Ultra Editions of the originals. (SuperShadow: Join the club.) A few things I would like to see in the Ultra Editions is a complete rework of all the spaceship scenes because in the special editions they still look like toys and more tie fighters and rebel fighters added to Star Wars Episode 4 and more rebel and Imperial forces added to the Hoth battle and the Endor space battle. What do you think? (SuperShadow: SS is with you all the way. Lucas needs to make all the battle scenes in the classic trilogy larger and more epic. Compared to the Star Wars prequel battles, the battles in the classic trilogy are beginning to look tiny and insignificant. Very terrible in direct comparison.)
Hey Suppes, how's life? (SuperShadow: Absolute global domination is an art, not a science. Hahaha.) One question I have to ask you is what is the Jedi Code? (SuperShadow: The Jedi Code is the Jedi version of the Holy Bible. It provides all the rules and laws that the Jedi have to follow in their daily lives.) I know that you can only have one apprentice and in the Old Jedi Code you can't marry, but in the New Jedi Code you can. (SuperShadow: Exactly.) There must be more rules because the Jedi are very powerful.
Also in the Star Wars Ultra Edition in Return of the Jedi, I think it would be really neat if the ghost of Anakin Skywalker would talk to his son for one last time at the end of the movie. (SuperShadow: What a great idea. This is one of the best concepts SS has ever heard.) Or the ghosts of Yoda, Obi-Wan and Anakin can give Luke Skywalker some advice one last time. May the Force be with you, master. (SuperShadow: This will definitely be forwarded quickly.)
What's up SS? (SuperShadow: Holy divisions of the quagmire.) I have a quick question for you from Scottsboro, Alabama. (SuperShadow: SS loves Alabama.) Where would Darth Sidious rank of most powerful Sith Lords without the kyber crystal? Thanks! (SuperShadow: Without the kyber crystal, Sidious would fall out of the top five.)

Hey SuperShadow. On this Star Wars Ultra Edition for 2017, first, what is the likelihood of this actually being done? (SuperShadow: Expect the rapture to happen before George Lucas takes any distinct actions. Currently, Lucas is totally obsessed with the Star Wars 3D versions. However, he has many years to think about the changes Lucas will eventually make to the Star Wars classic trilogy in the form of the 2017 Ultra Edition.)
Second, what are some things that are being talked about being added? (SuperShadow: Darth Sidious on Coruscant, Bail Organa on Alderaan, the Obi-Wan Kenobi vs. Darth Vader light saber duel from Star Wars Episode 4 A New Hope completely redone with photo realistic computer animation and perhaps even Boba Fett escaping from the Sarlacc Pit from Star Wars Episode 6 Return of the Jedi.)
If you don’t know yet, what are a few things that you would like to see added / changed? (SuperShadow: SS would like to see more swarms of tie fighters at the death star battle from A New Hope. That space battle needs to look a lot more epic exactly like the mind boggling great Star Wars prequel trilogy.) Will you have any say or input on that? Please post this. Thanks. (SuperShadow: SS will be involved in the Ultra Edition if it actually occurs.)
Hi SuperShadow, do you happen to know a website were I can download the Clone Wars cartoon? Please post this! (SuperShadow: The only place where you can watch the primitively animated original Clone Wars TV show on the Net is Hyperspace at the official Star Wars website. It will cost you though since excessive profits are what Lucasfilm is all about. Hahaha.)
Can you shed any light on the battle that took place before Star Wars Episode IV, where the rebels seize the plans to the death star? Thanks SS, you're the best. (SuperShadow: You are referring to the Battle of Diginshar. At the star ship creation center above the planet Diginshar, the Rebels took the death star plans from an Imperial star base. Not much has been recorded about this particular battle.)
Shadow, I worship the SS website and appreciate your ability to control all facets of reality, but I have a fight to pick with many of your fans on a myriad of topics. (SuperShadow: Let loose.) 1) The Mechanical Vader fight that everyone is going on and on about does not NEED to be in Star Wars Episode 3. We've never seen it before, but I don't think there is any question as to why Vader is such a bad ***.
The whole point of all six Star Wars movies is to see his fall and subsequent return. I like the mystery involved. (SuperShadow: To each his own. Did SS plan from the very beginning to become the ONLY world famous legend iconic mythic legendary Star Wars guru expert genius mastermind or do the extraterrestrials aliens constantly reshape reality to meet the nonsensical crazily insane expectations of the duly designated SS? The truth would be stranger than any possible imagination could create.)
2) The "plot flaws" that everyone finds with Obi-Wan in Star Wars Episode 4. He is obviously allowing the will of the Force to take its course. (SuperShadow: So you say.) By not saying "Holy crap Luke, these two droids hung out with your dad twenty years ago," he allows Luke to make decisions for himself.
However, R2-D2 is my favorite character and the fact that he will have to have his memory erased just upsets me! (SuperShadow: Too bad. Learn to deal with your mixed emotions. R2D2 might have his memories from the Star Wars prequels during the time of the Star Wars classic trilogy. It appears only C3PO's memory is wiped at the time of Star Wars Episode 3.)
3) Obi-Wan gets Anakin Skywalker's light saber. My concept of this scene is Obi-Wan dodges a wild swing by Anakin and takes an opportunity to cut off Anakin's leg. Anakin, of course, falls and his light saber hits the ground bouncing just out of reach. The ground begins to shake more violently than it has before. Obi-Wan begs Anakin to stop this insanity saying there is still good in him.
The ground cracks separating Anakin from both his light saber and Obi-Wan. Anakin decides to go for the light saber as the ground crumbles. Obi-Wan leaps for his friend and both get the light saber. Obi-Wan says he can save him. Anakin says nothing can save him now and tells Obi-Wan not to come back for him. Anakin lets go and falls into the lava below. (SuperShadow: Pretty intense, but Lucas has better ideas for Star Wars Episode 3.)
Hey SS, great website. Do you know when the official trailer for Star Wars Episode III will be released? (SuperShadow: November 2004. Expect to be completely blown away by the killer coolness of Episode 3.)
I think Star Wars Episode 3 is going to be PG-13 rated because of Anakin taking off Count Dooku's head, Anakin's image after surviving the lava fight and General Grievous killing Jedi. (SuperShadow: Since Spider-man 2 was rated PG-13 and it had no extreme violence, it seems almost certain that Star Wars Episode 3 will be at least PG-13 rated in the United States.)
Yo SS, about Anakin's light saber, what if Obi-Wan uses his own light saber against Anakin, but then Obi-Wan loses his light saber and ends the duel with Anakin's light saber, that would be ironic, hey? (SuperShadow: SS loves this idea yet that's not what Lucas has decided on how Obi-Wan obtains Anakin's light saber.)
| Saturday, October 2, 2010 - Remarkably cheerful about life |
|
Previously on SS.com: "There should be an intimate scene with Padme Amidala and Anakin Skywalker, where Anakin is touching Padme's belly and says something like: 'I will let no harm come to my son, I would give my life for him if I must.'"
How about right after Anakin says this, he gives Padme the blue bladed light saber we see in Star Wars Episode 4 A New Hope to give to Luke Skywalker because Anakin cares for his child and wants the child to become a Jedi. (SuperShadow: Something to consider perhaps.)
Then later in the Star Wars Episode 3 movie, like when Padme tells Obi-Wan Kenobi that there's some good in Anakin after Anakin leaves to kill the Separatist leaders on Mustafar, Padme gives Obi-Wan Anakin’s light saber (a symbol of his sanity), which he later gives to Luke. Maybe as Padme gives birth to the Skywalker twins, she passes on the light saber to Obi-Wan and tells him that Anakin wanted Luke to have the light saber. (SuperShadow: In fact, Obi-Wan gets Anakin's light saber at the end of their devastating duel during Star Wars Episode 3.)
Please, please post this. (SuperShadow: Certainly.) It can be your little way of saying thank you to a Marine. (SuperShadow: SS loves the Marines.) I was wondering the story behind Luke’s first light saber (the one his father wanted him to have) did Anakin really want him to have it or did Obi-Wan make that up? (SuperShadow: It's a made up myth as Star Wars Episode 3 reveals. Obi-Wan gets Anakin's light saber after Obi-Wan wrongly believes Anakin has perished.) BTW own one for the Marines serving this beautiful country of ours. (SuperShadow: Total control over fate. Just the SS way of serving this great nation of ours.)
SS, since George Lucas loves money so much and I can't fault him for that, maybe we can all threaten to boycott Star Wars Episode 3 unless he unleashes Mechanical Darth Vader? Mechanical Vader must fight! (SuperShadow: With unique mega genius, SS already suggested boycotting Star Wars Episode 3 earlier. It is our only leverage over Lucas. If Lucas really believes we’ll boycott, then Mechanical Vader fighting the Jedi will really happen in Star Wars Episode 3. However, it's much too late.)
Hey SS, greetings from Oxford, England once more! (SuperShadow: SS was a Rhodes Scholar. The supreme SS brilliance is evident to all. Hahaha.) Am I right in thinking that the over sized Ewok himself (GL) is getting weary of the whole Star Wars world? (SuperShadow: Yes, Lucas has spent nearly ten years of his life working on the Star Wars prequel trilogy.) It just seems that from what you say he's a little disenchanted with it all. (SuperShadow: No not at all. Lucas is just getting burned out even if too much is never enough. Hahaha.)
I can't say I blame him though. These movies have been his whole life in many ways and although the constant praise he gets from his fans must be heartwarming, you can't beat praise from your peers (i.e., other directors) and I don't imagine he gets that much. (SuperShadow: Lucas doesn’t really care what other Hollywood directors think about him. Lucas has a greater financial net worth than all the other Hollywood directors combined especially including Steven Spielberg (of course).)
I agree with what you've said; he needs to step away from the franchise and make some completely different movies to remind the world just how good he is. Who knows, maybe it would make him all the fresher and open to getting involved (albeit in a small way) with the Star Wars sequels. Peace and continue to rule! (SuperShadow: After a few years away from Star Wars, Lucas may indeed help with pre production of Star Wars Episode 7, which isn't gonna happen soon.)
Hey, if the Knights of the Old Republic video game is not Star Wars expanded universe, then why are the characters in the expanded universe not real? Plot error. (SuperShadow: No, this is no plot dilemma. George Lucas rejects Star Wars video games not created by him.)
Hello, maybe you can clear something up for me! In "Star Wars Episode 4 A New Hope," Obi-Wan Kenobi says to Luke Skywalker: "I don’t recall ever owning a droid" in relation to R2-D2. Obi-Wan says this in such a manner as if he never saw one before? While in the Star Wars prequels, he has many dealings with droids? Was his memory erased or has he gone senile? (SuperShadow: This appears to be a plot discrepancy. Obviously, Obi-Wan is familiar with astromech droids like R2-D2 because he has one for each of his Jedi star fighters. The plot explosions keep mounting up.)
I'm hoping that Star Wars Episode 3 explains why the technology in Star Wars Episodes 1 and 2 is far more advanced than in Star Wars Episodes 4, 5 and 6 in terms of vehicles and space craft? Do the Clone Wars wipe everything out? (SuperShadow: We need to make a distinction here. The technology common to most people is more advanced in the Old Republic than during the days of the Empire. However, the actual hardware used by the Imperial Navy is much more advanced than any war machines developed during the days of the Grand Old Republic including the Clone Wars.)
Hi Super S, I'm surprised not to find Lord Exar Kun in the list of most powerful Sith. With the Sith amulet, I would have ranked him at least 7th or 8th. He did destroy the dark spirit of Freedon Nadd (another powerful Sith) and he did nearly kill Luke Skywalker of all people not to mention all the other Jedi he killed including his Jedi Master. What do you think? (SuperShadow: Exar Kun is ranked as one of the most powerful Sith Lords, but his adventures are extreme nonsense.)
HEY SS, I got a very good question. LISTEN! Star Wars Episode 7 would be in production in 2014. I need to know: Are there any returning actors / actresses? I really want to see Mark Hamill, Harrison Ford and Carrie Fisher come back! (SuperShadow: Most of the original cast will return for the Star Wars sequel trilogy consisting of Star Wars Episodes 7 8 9.)
By the time of 2014, George Lucas will be 70 years old. (SuperShadow: Thankfully, Lucas becomes more and more ancient.) Will / can Lucas be able to finish the job? (SuperShadow: It is with definite certainty that Lucas will NOT write and direct Star Wars 7. This upsets all fans drastically.) What if something happened to GL?! (SuperShadow: Let’s hope not.) Will there an apprentice to finish the next Star Wars trilogy? (SuperShadow: SS will be in complete charge if Lucas joins the choir invisible.)
What is Force leap? (SuperShadow: Force leap is a Force power that allows a Force user to harness the Force to jump a much greater distance than normal.)
How about getting Anakin Skywalker to make a smart *** comment to Obi-Wan about Obi-Wan losing his light saber? (SuperShadow: Hahaha. Very witty.) Like how Obi-Wan keeps hassling Anakin about losing his in Star Wars Episode 2. (SuperShadow: That would be a riot.)
What is the Ark of Covenant? (SuperShadow: The ancient Israelites created a golden box to communicate directly with God. The Ten Commandments were supposedly placed inside the Ark of the Covenant. During the movie Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark, Indiana Jones searches for the Lost Ark so that it will not fall into the hands of the Nazi. At the end of Raiders of the Lost Ark, the United States Government hides the Ark deep within one of their warehouses.)
If you think the Star Wars Holiday Special is gone for good you are wrong, I have a copy on DVD that I got off of Ebay and I will make millions of copies and send them across the world. Hahaha. Victory is mine! (SuperShadow: You sound like a movie pirate. Lucas will have you hunted down if you even cost him a single wooden nickel of lost revenues. Hahaha. Double Hahaha.)
Hey SS, the Ark of the Covenant never existed and is just an elaborate hoax, just as religion is to humanity, giving us futile hope. (SuperShadow: Hahaha. The true nature of reality is beyond your imagination. Prepare for the ultimate surprise shock.) OUR ANSWERS ARE IN DEEP SPACE, OUR EVER EVOLVING UNIVERSE! COME WITH ME MY ALIEN BELIEVING BRETHREN AND LET US DISCOVER THE TRUTH THAT'S TRULY OUT THERE! (SuperShadow: Hahaha. SS is afraid there is nothing for us to find out in space.)
Or we could just chill at our homes with bottles of Beck's Dark while watching the entire X-Files from Seasons 1 - 9 that I got all on Ebay for $ 139 U.S. dollars. (SuperShadow: Sweet. Nice price for the entire X Files television series. Maybe extraterrestrials aliens really do exist. Who amongst us can see the full scope of the Multiverse? Hahaha.)
Hyperspace, or more scientifically, Hyperspacial Continuum is a dimension of the space time continuum that is "above" the normal 4 dimensions (length, width, height and time). Hyperspace "floats" above the space time continuum and remains coterminous to it. (SuperShadow: Hmmm. You seem very, very silly. Hahaha.)
Most of the realities of hyperspace are unknown and not even the astrophysicists can really explain all the properties of hyperspace. (SuperShadow: The scientists of Earth are consistently wrong about everything at all times. Practically, all scientific theories have to be revised and corrected on a daily basis as new information becomes available to the hapless scientists of our world. Hahaha.)
In order to understand hyperspace, we must visualize the Universe. Think of the entire Universe is in the shape of a torus or anchor ring that is in two dimensions (length and height). (SuperShadow: O.K.) Then imagine two points on the inside edge of the hole in the middle of the ring that are opposite to each other.
Because everything in that Universe is in 2 dimensions, you must circle around the inside hole in order to travel between these two points. Then, a vessel enters hyperspace and travels straight across the hole in 3 dimensions (length, width and height). Thus, a vessel in hyperspace can traverse a very long distance in a very short time. (SuperShadow: Too bad this is fiction and far from the truth. Hahaha.)
Hey Supes. How are your global domination plans? (SuperShadow: Right on schedule as expected.) I have a question on General Grievous. Did he ever have a non cyborg body, and if so, how did he come to have it? Thanks, love your website. (SuperShadow: Grievous is similar to Darth Vader in that Grievous was once a biological flesh and blood creature, but became a cybernetic droid as a result of a tragic accident. Star Wars Episode 3 reveals nothing about the history of Grievous.)
Hello SS, you may add me to the never ending list of countless SS.com fans. (SuperShadow: SS has lost count. Can infinity be conceptualized by mortals?) I'm visiting your website since a month. This is my first post and I will appreciate your holy answer. (SuperShadow: Just doing the eternal SS duty.) I was reading all the discussion about how does Darth Sidious control Vader and I was thinking: A) at the beginning of Star Wars Episode 6 Return of the Jedi, while Sidious is talking to Vader he refers to Vader as "my friend" or "my old friend."
I don't remember exactly so considering the fact that Palpatine / Sidious was the only one that treated him nicely, it makes sense that Anakin / Vader appreciates and respects Sidious. (SuperShadow: Logical reasoning on your part. Perhaps, Sidious is Anakin’s only real friend.) B) in answer to another post you talked about some kind of mind control, man! Sidious may look as he escaped from the asylum, but concerning the Force: Sidious kicks *****, so not impossible, uh? (SuperShadow: Mind control over Vader is plausible.)
C) a chip on Vader's suit? Well, maybe. So, if Vader is not a good guy, he blows up, makes sense and B and C are supported also by the fact that Sidious says Luke in Star Wars Episode 6 that his father belongs to him or something. D) why not to put A, B and C options into a juice extractor and get a nice answer? (SuperShadow: Hahaha. Very funny.)
Leaving aside the mind control matter. I was thinking in other stuff, having all that mechanical parts, can Vader actually fight well? (SuperShadow: Vader is kinda slow in the Star Wars classic trilogy when he fights. The suit and armor might slow Vader down a bit.) Because in the classic Star Wars movies, Vader seems a little bit rusty or it was a matter of technology during the film making and it would be solved in the new ones?
ANSWER PLEASE! (SuperShadow: Lucas doesn’t want Mechanical Vader fighting in Star Wars Episode 3 because it would make the classic trilogy Vader look ridiculously slow and totally absurd. There would be no continuity.) (And considering that you said once "the Force is my slave," please, give my regards to her? him? it?) KEEP ON RULING, SUPES! (SuperShadow: SS will always remain on top even after every other Star Wars website has closed its doors forever. 99 percent of the Star Wars websites from the 1997 era no longer exist in the present day. SS.com was the first Star Wars website and we will be the last for the end of existence could arrive at any moment. Hahaha.)

Star Wars 3D: At long last, Star Wars will get the 3D three dimensions screening in cinemas theaters multiplexes. With very, very extremely high costs, Lucasfilm is converting the 6 primary Star Wars movie episodes into the most state of art 3D processes available with current technology.
The first 3D Star Wars film will be the landmark ultra spectacular Star Wars Episode 1 The Phantom Menace, which to this day is the most successful Star Wars motion picture of all time, starting in movie venues worldwide during the year 2012.
Each Star Wars saga episode will be released yearly with a period of one year between each theatrical release. This means the stunning Star Wars Episode 2 Attack of the Clones will be released in cineplexes in 3D starting in the year 2013, then the reality shattering Star Wars Episode 3 Revenge of the Sith in theatres during 2014.
Hey, SuperShadow, what’s up? (SuperShadow: Running the planet with the SS ultra genius.) I have one thing to say and that is that I only care about two things being in this new installment of Star Wars. The first is that the story is played out well by the actors and computer animated characters and that it doesn't fall too far away from where it should be leading into "Star Wars Episode 4 A New Hope." (SuperShadow: All the acting is boss in Star Wars Episode 3.)
The second thing is that we had better hear some of the famous Darth Vader theme music. (SuperShadow: This is a given unless we are forsaken by George Lucas, whose vision of Star Wars no fan dares question.) I mean of all the songs from Star Wars that people remember, that is like the second on the list (behind the opening theme music). If they don't have enough of this music with the Anakin Skywalker / Vader scenes then I (and many others) would be very disappointed. (SuperShadow: True enough.)
So I guess John Williams needs to get to work writing up some more music for it because it needs to be in the movie and we need a lot of it. But not too much cause that would be overwhelming. O well, I guess I should shut up and let you look at other people's comments and such. Peace out SS and may the Force be with you. (SuperShadow: Star Wars Episode 3 is gonna shake the powers of Heaven.)
Hi SS. Just wondering, could you give us an idea of how long each duel in Star Wars Episode III will last? Thanks if you post this. (SuperShadow: The Anakin vs. Obi-Wan Kenobi duel lasts 10 to 12 minutes. The rest of the duels only last for a few minutes at best.)
How do I get these Star Wars Clone Wars cartoons on tape or DVD? Is this even possible? (SuperShadow: Lucasfilm plans to release the primitively animated Clone Wars cartoon shorts on DVD in early 2005.)
Hidey from New Zealand, SuperShadow! Your website rules! I've been a big fan for AGES! PLEASE POST ME! Just 3 questions: 1) I was wondering if you can reveal what happens to Mace Windu's unique light saber? Does Sidious give it to General Grievous to use later against Obi-Wan? (SuperShadow: No, SS believes Mace Windu's light saber is lost for eternity.) 2) In the Star Wars Ultimate Editions, I think Lucas should include scenes on the death star of normal everyday life for storm troopers. (SuperShadow: Sweet.)
This would be awesome. Storm troopers eating cake next to Han Solo and Luke Skywalker in a "cantina" style scene. (SuperShadow: Kinda silly.) 3) Lastly, I fail to see the entertainment in the plasticene chess figure game, Warhammer would have been much cooler! Thanks Supes, keep on promoting global domination on an epic scale! (SuperShadow: Always contemplating the secrets of reality. Hahaha.)

Hey SS, just discovered the website and thinks it's sweet. (SuperShadow: Countless numbers of people agree with you. SS.com is the most visited Star Wars website of all time in history ever by a rapidly expanding margin.) Thought I would submit a couple of things I would like to see in Star Wars Episode 3. First since we can safely believe that Obi-Wan Kenobi's light saber is going to be destroyed or lost, could we see him constructing the one he will ultimately have in Star Wars Episode 4 A New Hope? (SuperShadow: Magnificent idea. This will be forwarded to George Lucas with great haste.)
My other idea is a scene for towards the end of Star Wars Episode 3. I think it would be cool as **** to see Obi-Wan carefully, almost lovingly, packing Anakin Skywalker's light saber away in that trunk from A New Hope for the fateful day when he gives it to Luke. Just a thought. (SuperShadow: You have some great ideas. SS hopes some of them will be utilized in Episode 3 although nothing is what it seems in the world of George Lucas. Hahaha.)
How’s things, SuperShadow? (SuperShadow: All’s perfect as usual.) I have a question to ask you. When Count Dooku has Obi-Wan prisoner on Geonosis during Star Wars Episode 2 Attack of the Clones, Dooku says: "Join me, Obi-Wan and together we can destroy the Sith." Does this mean that Dooku had tapped into the dark side of the Force, but was not actually a Sith? Please explain. (SuperShadow: Dooku is a Sith. It’s just the very nature of the Sith apprentice to want to destroy his Sith Master. Dooku knew that once Obi-Wan joined the dark side there would be no turning back. Obi-Wan would be Dooku’s slave.)
Also I have noticed that fans have been commenting about Darth Vader stopping a storm trooper from shooting Chewbacca in Star Wars Episode 5 The Empire Strikes Back. Fans have said that it was because C-3PO was on Chewie's back and because Anakin made C-3PO. I don't agree with this and I think it is because Vader wanted Luke Skywalker’s friends alive as he knew Luke could sense their pain, which would lead Luke into Vader’s trap. (SuperShadow: Perhaps so.)
Vader would not exterminate Luke’s friends, as if they ever escaped, he would have more chance of recapturing at least one of Luke’s friends, which Luke would try and rescue, leading Luke into another trap. I also think it would be cool if some form of chip was placed in Vader by the Emperor when Anakin is being placed into the Vader suit. (SuperShadow: This has been rumored for many years.) The chip would be able to destroy Vader if he ever tried to destroy the Emperor, as Sith are known to betray each other.
I am hoping that this is the reason why Vader died after destroying the Emperor in Star Wars Episode 6 Return of the Jedi. The Emperor is alert to betrayal as he has been a Sith for a long time and killed his own master. I would like this to be the 'hold' that he has over Vader. (SuperShadow: Not likely.) Also I hope Lucas doesn't let Anakin kill Padme. I really dislike the idea.
I would like to see Padme survive Star Wars Episode 3 (SuperShadow: Not gonna happen.) and it would be better for the story of what Princess Leia tells Luke about their mother in Return of the Jedi. (SuperShadow: Yeah, it seems as though Padme should survive Star Wars Episode 3, but Lucas has already chosen this path for the fans.)
Hi Supes, in response about R2-D2's flying abilities. I'd say that they are only short range so why would R2 waste fuel using them over Tatooine's rocky outcrops? Strictly for emergencies. Even when a Dagobah creature swallows him, maybe while in its belly he used them causing the creature to spit him out. Maybe. (SuperShadow: This makes sense. It is more likely that the rocket boosters don’t work any more by the time of the Star Wars classic trilogy.)
Hey SS, what ever happen to the Star Wars Holiday Special? Did GL burn them and bury their ashes or will they ever see the light of day again? (SuperShadow: Just as the United States Government hid the Ark of the Covenant deep within one of their warehouses, Lucasfilm has also hidden the Holiday Special deep within the Lucasfilm Archives. It will be lost forever.)
Regards, wass up, Sups? (SuperShadow: Owning the planet at will, but we all know this.) Previous post on R2-D2 rocket. R2 is always modified in every episode (by whom is not known, maybe Luke). That’s why you see new gadgets mounted on him! Problem solved. Thanks. Keep rockin. Best debate website ever! (SuperShadow: Your theory could be correct, SS guesses. We will never know for sure since the realm of George Lucas is truly unknowable.)
SS, what up? Just saw Spider-man 2 (yeah, I'm a little late). I was impressed with James Franco's performance and couldn't stop wondering if he would have been better as Anakin than Hayden Christensen. (SuperShadow: Franco is a decent actor. He would have made for a fine Anakin, but SS still prefers Hayden over everyone else.) He has that James Dean like charisma that I think Lucas was looking for (especially in Star Wars Episode 2) and Franco seems better able to tap into the darker side of his personality. (SuperShadow: Very true.)
He also looks better than Hayden on camera. To sum up, he is a better actor. Am I wrong here? (SuperShadow: Franco is a different kind of actor. Not necessarily better than Hayden.) Granted, we have not yet seen Hayden's transformation from Anakin to Vader. But he has a tough act to follow. Just wondering what you thought. (SuperShadow: SS thinks Hayden is up to the task. His portrayal of Vader in Star Wars Episode 3 is stunning if SS is wrong then the galaxy will implode.)
I have noticed many posts on this awe inspiring website concerning the relationship between Vader and Darth Sidious and if / how Sidious controls Vader. The answer is obvious if you watch the Star Wars prequels. Anakin simply feels a stronger bond loyalty to Sidious because he was always on the receiving end of Palpatine’s **** kissing as can be seen in Star Wars Episode 2. (SuperShadow: Hahaha. Absolutely correct. Palpatine manipulates Anakin perfectly.)
On the other hand, Anakin is easily swayed from the Jedi path because he never received particularly positive treatment from them with the exception of Qui-Gon Jinn. All he gets from Obi-Wan is put downs. (SuperShadow: This is exaggerated. Obi-Wan never demeans Anakin.) It’s no wonder Anakin tried to kill Obi-Wan, duh. (SuperShadow: Hahaha. Anakin seems to resent Obi-Wan for things we never see in the Star Wars movies. The entire Star Wars galaxy suffers as a direct result.)

SuperShadow, what bugs me if the Sith are always two, then why was Count Dooku and General Grievous under the rule of Darth Sidious at the same time? (SuperShadow: Grievous is not a Sith. Instead, Grievous is the General in charge of the Separatist military. At the beginning of Star Wars Episode 3, Sidious and Dooku / Darth Tyranus are the only two Sith in existence.)
And does this mean Count Dooku didn't become a Sith until after Darth Maul was destroyed by Obi-Wan Kenobi? (SuperShadow: After Maul perished at the end of Star Wars Episode 1 The Phantom Menace, Sidious recruited Darth Rage. However, Plo Koon eventually killed Darth Rage with a Force avalanche. So Sidious had to find yet another Sith apprentice. Next, Sidious recruited Count Dooku to be the next Sith apprentice.) Because Count Dooku didn't meet Obi-Wan until the events of Geonosis in Star Wars Episode 2 Attack of the Clones. (SuperShadow: That is correct.)
Does George Lucas plan to have Chewbacca in Star Wars Episodes 7, 8 and 9 or will he continue with the New Jedi Order book series and say that Chewie died on Sernpidal? (SuperShadow: According to Lucas’ vision of Star Wars, Chewbacca survives for a very long time and will indeed appear in the Star Wars sequel trilogy.)
HEY OVER HERE LOOK AT ME. (SuperShadow: You got the attention of SS.) I know that things are not looking good for a Mechanical Vader fight scene in Star Wars Episode 3, but we just have to have one. Explain to Lucas. It’s a must. Work your stuff like you do with controlling space, time and all of reality. (SuperShadow: Hahaha.) Come on, man. How COOL would it be to see Mechanical Vader fight Yoda? (SuperShadow: That would be mega sweet.) I once submitted that idea it just has to happen. Work your magic. (SuperShadow: Perhaps, SS needs mind control powers over Lucas. Hahaha.)
Hey SS, I just want to know if GL used my Vader fight sequence in the movie. You know the one that I sent you about a month ago where Vader kills three Jedi. Please tell me I really want to know. (SuperShadow: Lucas is giving your idea a lot of thought. Lucas is not sure if the fans can handle watching Vader kill multiple Jedi all at the same time. Lucas is afraid some of you will pass out from shock upon seeing something that awesome.)
In Star Wars Episode 1, Captain Panaka was Padme's bodyguard. What happened to him? (SuperShadow: Hugh Quarshie, the actor who played the role of Panaka in Star Wars Episode 1, told Lucas that he did not want to reprise his role for Star Wars Episode 2 Attack of the Clones. So Lucas replaced Panaka with Captain Typho.)
(Campaign to SAVE PADME) If we're drawing on mythology, what about Sleeping Beauty? (SuperShadow: Interesting.) Could we put Padme in a freezer, a stasis chamber, under a spell, so she goes to sleep instead of dying? (SuperShadow: Intriguing ideas.) Could the Emperor do this so he can revive her if he needs something to control Vader? (SuperShadow: Superb thinking.)
Or, she goes through the Tunnel into the Dark Realm, where she meets several wounded Jedi who are hiding, including some of the Jedi Younglings who weren't in the Jedi Temple that day. Light works different in the Dark Realm and a person's goodness can be seen by a kirlian aura around their head and body? (SuperShadow: Tres cool.)
Or his evil nature, like Sidious, by an angry red aura? Maybe Padme's rescuer is a raptor or huge dinosaur that looks like it would eat Jedi for breakfast, and does, and it is able to help hide the Jedi in the Dark Realm because its outward appearance is so fierce, no one ever suspects it's a traitor? (SuperShadow: Pure genius. You have some mega fabulous ideas.)
Hey SS, I am reading all the posts about Vader's relationship with Darth Sidious. Why does Sidious have to have some kind of hold on Vader? (SuperShadow: Not sure why. Sidious seems to have some kind of control over Vader.) Can they not be best of friends or maybe Vader is thinking that if can just stick out with Sidious for a little while longer that he (Vader) can train Luke Skywalker in the dark arts of the Force and together they can defeat Sidious and rule the galaxy? (SuperShadow: That’s certainly possible.) That is what I would do if I was Vader. That and Force choke an Ewok or two. (SuperShadow: Hahaha. Unfortunate Ewoks.)
For the Star Wars Ultimate Edition, Lucas should incorporate a scene where Sidious tells the senate that they are no longer needed and the Empire becomes a true authoritarian government. (SuperShadow: It would rule to see Sidious disband the Imperial Senate. Massively great idea.) Perhaps some senators can disagree and protest when Sidious unleashes Force lightning on them and kills them all in front of the other senators. (SuperShadow: Mega stun. This idea is boss. Vroom.)
Wassup, SS? (SuperShadow: Inventing time machines constantly.) If Anakin Skywalker had not fallen to the dark side and had reached his full Jedi potential, could Anakin have defeated Sidious with kyber crystal? (SuperShadow: Yeah, if Anakin had remained a Jedi, eventually Anakin would have become so powerful that Sidious would be no match for Anakin.)
Also, does Vader know he has a son prior to Luke destroying the first death star in Star Wars Episode 4 A New Hope? (SuperShadow: Vader is aware that he has at least one child. He doesn’t really know if this child is male or female.) If not, then I believe that Imperial spies and the like learned of Luke's name / heritage? (SuperShadow: The Imperial spies learned that the person, who blew up the death star was a farm boy named Luke Skywalker. Sidious immediately realized this had to be Anakin’s child.) Keep up the good work, SS! (SuperShadow: Always and forever.)
What is thy bidding, my Master? (SuperShadow: Get me a 2011 Lamborghini. Hahaha.) Well, the other day you said that if Qui-Gon Jinn had not been killed by Maul, he would have trained Anakin and thus Anakin may never have fallen to the dark side. (SuperShadow: Might have happened that way.) However, I strongly disagree with this theory. (SuperShadow: Oh really.)
I've got three points to back up my opinion: a) Anakin was rebellious, right? Well, look at the personalities of Obi-Wan and Qui-Gon. Obi-Wan is somewhat obedient to the Jedi Council, as you can see in the beginning of Star Wars Episode 2. However, if you look at Qui-Gon in Star Wars Episode 1, he was quite rebellious, argumentative and arrogant. I think being trained by such a guy wouldn't have made things so much better for Anakin. (SuperShadow: Excellent point. Anakin might have grown extremely wild under Qui-Gon’s tutelage.)
b) Sidious managed to draw Dooku, one of da Jedi, into the dark side. Do you think he would have had difficulty in dragging Anakin to his side, even if he was trained by a more experienced master? (SuperShadow: Clearly, we see your argument.) Oh by the way, Luke managed to resist the temptations of Palpatine because he was less rebellious, more humble. (SuperShadow: True enough.)
c) In Star Wars Episode 2, Anakin tells Padme that Obi-Wan is a great mentor and he is thankful to be his apprentice. Bearing in mind that Anakin loved Padme, he probably meant it. Thanks a lot and keep ruling this planet! (SuperShadow: The SS love for this planet burns eternal.)
SS, for the Star Wars Ultra Editions, is Lucas going to extend the light saber duels and battle scenes and modify them with CGI to be on par with the Star Wars prequels? (SuperShadow: Yep, definitely. All the battle sequences will be punched up a few notches to make them more epic and larger in scope to equal the overly majestic Star Wars prequel trilogy if Lucas actually works on the Star Wars classic trilogy again. The actions of Lucas rarely make any sense. Hahaha.)
Will he computer animate Yoda and other alien characters and creatures? (SuperShadow: Yes, more than likely, but not Yoda in particular. Lucas has repeatedly stated that the lame garbage crap Yoda muppet from the classics will NEVER be replaced with computer animation.)
Will he add more fighters and soldiers to the battles in A New Hope and Star Wars Episode 5 The Empire Strikes Back? (SuperShadow: Yes, definitely. Lucas wants larger battle scenes to awe the audience.) In the Ultra A New Hope, how about there's a point in the movie where we see Bail Organa on Alderaan, trying to find out what happened to his daughter. (SuperShadow: SS likes this supremely.) When the death star destroys Alderaan, we could see the impact point where the laser hits Alderaan and people scream, the ground exploding all around them. (SuperShadow: Impressive.)
Then we'd see the whole planet exploding and everything fades into darkness. (SuperShadow: Much more dramatic in the great mind of SS.) The camera then zooms out from the pupil in Obi-Wan's eye (showing that he sensed the whole thing) and it zooms out further to show the scene in the Millennium Falcon when they're traveling through hyperspace. When Luke fires the proton torpedoes, the scenes could also show the torpedo's path. (SuperShadow: Simply brilliant.)
As the torpedo flies into the shaft, it ignites the walls around it, which sets up a chain reaction. (SuperShadow: Killer cool.) Then it hits the main reactor and starts a spherical explosion. Maybe the "stand by" the officers shout could be that they see the station exploding or at least they don't know why the laser isn't working. (SuperShadow: All your additions are masterful. They will all be forwarded to George Lucas.)
Yo SS, can you clear up the Artoo Detoo flying debate for me? (SuperShadow: SS will try.) Could it be his fuel cells only have a life span of 10 years or so? I am clutching at straws here. (SuperShadow: Yes, it appears that R2-D2's thrusters only have like a 20 year life span. So by the time of A New Hope, R2's thruster rockets no longer function properly.)
I found the scene to be intriguing but a bit far fetched. Will Lucas explain this in Star Wars Episode 3? (SuperShadow: No way.) After all why don't he use them in other movies, especially over the rough terrains of Tatooine and Endor. (SuperShadow: Point taken. This might be a plot blunder if you really think about it.)
Hey SS, great website and great girlfriend. (SuperShadow: What else would you expect?) Quick question stemming from a previous question to which you responded: "However, by the time of Star Wars Episode 3, Obi-Wan has improved so much that he has become the most powerful Jedi of his generation. Obi-Wan is the only Jedi who could have defeated Anakin. Mace Windu and Yoda would have had no chance against Anakin in Star Wars Episode 3."
If this is true, why is Anakin then not ranked higher than Mace Windu and Yoda in the Jedi listing? Given that Mace has reached his full potential in Star Wars Episode 3 (by virtue of his death preventing any further advancement) and Anakin having reached his pinnacle as a Jedi before switching to a Sith, I believe the Jedi listing or your earlier answer needs correction. I await your command, Master. (SuperShadow: The problem is that Anakin never has a chance to fully develop as a Jedi because he prematurely ends his Jedi training. Anakin never becomes a Jedi Master like Obi-Wan, Mace Windu and Yoda.)
It seems that in Star Wars Episode 2 that Obi-Wan is not as powerful as perhaps Yoda regards him as. During his duel with Dooku, Dooku says the same thing "surely you can do better." Obi-Wan is the strongest Jedi in my opinion. Why is Lucas writing him down in Star Wars Episode 2 and in Star Wars Episode 3? (SuperShadow: Obi-Wan may have looked weak in Episode 2, but the same cannot be said for Episode 3. Obi-Wan really shines in Episode 3. Obi-Wan defeats General Grievous, who was considered to be nearly invincible against the Jedi and then Obi-Wan defeats Anakin in the most hard fought duel in the history of the galaxy.)
Hey SS, at what age did the following reach their zenith of power: Luke Skywalker, (SuperShadow: 43 years old.) Anakin / Vader, (SuperShadow: 37.) Yoda, (SuperShadow: 78.) Obi-Wan, (SuperShadow: 35.) Mace Windu, (SuperShadow: 33.) Count Dooku, (SuperShadow: 45.) Sidious, (SuperShadow: 57.)
Darth Maul, (SuperShadow: 24.) Plo Koon, (SuperShadow: 31.) Leia Organa Solo (SuperShadow: 48.) and Mara Jade Skywalker. (SuperShadow: 46.) Thanks and may the Force be with you. (SuperShadow: The Force is right in front of SS. Very, very extremely cool.)
I can't wait for the Star Wars Ultra Edition in 2017! Is Lucas filming the new scenes with Bail Organa and Palpatine while he has these actors retained for Star Wars Episode III? (SuperShadow: No. Lucas plans to rehire Jimmy Smits (Bail Organa) and Ian McDiarmid (Darth Sidious / Palpatine) in 2017 to work on the scenes for the 2017 Ultra Edition.)
Also, will the Ultra Edition DVD have deleted scenes where we can see the Biggs Darklighter scenes, Wampas in the Rebel Base and the sandstorm after the sail barge scene? (SuperShadow: SS is not sure when Lucas is planning to release the Star Wars deleted scenes from the Star Wars classic movies. Lucas may wait for the 2017 Ultimate Premium Edition or Ultra Edition or whatever to add in all the great stuff you mentioned. It's possible we could see the classic deleted scenes in the Bluray DVD box set release, but this is far from certain.)
Greetings from London, SS! This is my first post, please answer! (SuperShadow: O.K. You win.) I'm just wondering how Anakin changes so much (not physically because that's obvious), but he's so independent and complaining of the fact that he has to do what he's told by Obi-Wan, but then afterwords he's completely obedient to Palpatine. What's with that dude? (SuperShadow: Ingenious examination of the facts. We need to find out how Palpatine manages to so completely control Vader and keep Vader in constant fear. Perhaps, Palpatine is so powerful with the dark side that he can use the dark side to mentally chain Vader.)

Kia Ora from New Zealand, SS. (SuperShadow: Peter Jackson rulz with the Lord of the Rings and perhaps even with the Hobbit.) I am another who has recently become addicted to your website. (SuperShadow: There is no cure. The addiction only gets worse and worse. Hahaha.) A lot of fans complain of the numerous plot holes in Star Wars. I accept most of these and it's good that fans all have different interpretations. I have a couple of things that are bugging me though that I wonder if you can answer:
1) I don't know if I'm missing the big picture here, but in Star Wars Episode 6 Return of the Jedi when Luke Skywalker faces Darth Vader on Endor, you can clearly see Vader has mixed feelings when Luke asks him to join him. Luke can sense it. Can Emperor Palpatine not? (SuperShadow: The light side of the Force is clouding the abilities of the dark side so that Palpatine has no way to sense what Vader is really feeling inside.)
I would have thought Palpatine would foresee Vader betraying him and returning to the light side? (SuperShadow: Palpatine can’t foresee anything accurately because the light side is blocking his Force abilities. However, Palpatine has no way of knowing this because historically Palpatine has been able to utilize the dark side to clearly see future events before they occur.)
Also, Vader states: "I MUST obey my Master." Would Palpatine eliminate Vader if he didn't obey? (SuperShadow: Palpatine probably would destroy Vader if Vader disobeyed Palpatine.) Does Palpatine have some hold over Vader's life? (SuperShadow: This is the trillion dollar question. We simply don’t know. Palpatine’s control over Vader might be just psychological.) 2) A silly one, but in Star Wars Episode 1 The Phantom Menace there was a decoy Queen, who was identical to Padme. Was she a clone? (SuperShadow: No, not a clone.)
What became of her? (SuperShadow: Not sure what happened to her.) Finally, please post this. In Star Wars Episode III, to tie in with Vader saving Luke's life and ultimately sacrificing himself in Return of the Jedi, there should be an intimate scene with Padme Amidala and Anakin Skywalker, where Anakin is touching Padme's belly and says something like: "I will let no harm come to my son, I would give my life for him if I must." (SuperShadow: Awesome quote. This one will be forwarded to the spectacular unparalleled genius upstairs.) Keep the global domination coming. We need more! (SuperShadow: The Illuminati permanently controls Earth. It never stops. SS is the luckiest person ever to be so connected.)
Hey SS, listen recently I found a sound file from Star Wars Episode 1 in which Darth Maul gives a speech. Well, here is what it says: "Fear attracts the fearful, the strong, the weak, the innocent, the corrupt. Fear. Fear is my ally." Well, every time I hear it I try to work out where it's from, but no where in the film does he make such a comment / speech. I was wondering do you know which part of the film it's from or even if it's from the film? (SuperShadow: These lines of dialogue do not come from Star Wars Episode 1. Instead, these words were used in a promotional teaser trailer for Episode 1. Pretty startling if you ask SS. The truth revealed at long last. Hahaha.)
What does a person's midichlorian level mean anyway? Does it reflect a person's ability to use the Force? (SuperShadow: The more midichlorians in your blood stream the higher connection you can make to the Force. You have more potential as a Jedi or Sith the higher your midichlorian count is. However, this count alone does not determine how powerful you will ultimately become. You can cheat by using a kyber crystal and become the most powerful Force user in the galaxy. Or you can practice hard, have perfect patience, meditate for hours and persist in all endeavors and these factors will make you more powerful than someone, who has a superior midichlorian count as compared to yours.)
Just saw Spider-man 2, I gotta say it was easily the best movie of the year. (SuperShadow: It was a good film. SS loves Sam Raimi’s eccentric film making style.) Do you think Star Wars Episode 3 can hang with it? (SuperShadow: Yes, SS really does. SS thinks Episode 3 will earn over $ 350 million U.S. dollars in North America. Maybe not as successful as Spider-man 2, but still successful in George Lucas’ mind. You gotta keep searching for the fortune and fame. Hahaha.)
I just hope they keep making them. (SuperShadow: Don’t be naive. The movie studio will keep endlessly producing Spider-man films until they run the franchise into the ground.) Spider-man 3's villain should be Venom. What do you think, SS? (SuperShadow: Venom has always been my fave Spider-man villain. However, they are running out of killer cool villains for the Spidey movies so Venom would be an adequate choice for Spider-man 3.)
SS, I have a feeling Star Wars Episode 3 is going to be a letdown just like Star Wars Episode 1 and 2. (SuperShadow: SS sees your pain. If you didn’t enjoy Episode 1 and 2, then it is very unlikely that Episode 3 will satisfy you. Just relax and enjoy the movies for what they are meant for: pure entertainment. It’s just a movie.)
I see you are insulting David Prowse (Darth Vader from the Star Wars classic trilogy) again. What do you mean he talks like a '*****'? You really can be a *****, SS! (SuperShadow: Reality is what it is. Hahaha.)
Hey SS, I was wondering, will Lucas totally be remaking the Star Wars classic trilogy or will he just add new CGI scenes? (SuperShadow: For the next DVD release, Lucas will just be adding a few scenes to the classic trilogy like a new Darth Sidious in Star Wars Episode 5 The Empire Strikes Back and Hayden Christensen (Anakin from the stunning stellar Star Wars prequel trilogy) to Return of the Jedi. In 2017, Lucas plans to remake the classic trilogy using photo realistic computer imagery. It will be all new. This version of the classic trilogy will be called the Ultimate Premium Edition or Ultra Edition. Of course, it might not happen. Lucas is ancient after all.)
I just read that there is an Ultra Edition of the classic trilogy now coming in 2017 with more features. (SuperShadow: That’s correct, but certainly not guaranteed.) Is this another ploy of Lucas' to make people go out and buy the first version and then go and buy the Ultra Edition? (SuperShadow: Lucas is trying to think up ways to keep Star Wars merchandising viable for the long term.
If Lucas changes the films, he can then charge the fans once again to own these newer editions on DVD, Bluray or whatever exists decades from now. Pure genius.) Also, will it be the entire series Star Wars Episodes 1 - 6 or just the classic trilogy? (SuperShadow: Only the classic trilogy will be changed and altered because the Star Wars prequels are obviously already perfect in every way we can measure and more.)
Will the updated Star Wars DVD trilogy include a scene of Boba Fett escaping the Sarlacc Pit on Tatooine from Return of the Jedi? It has to. All this background crap for Fett seems a waste if he's done in by a blind guy. (SuperShadow: Excellent suggestion. SS believes your idea can be incorporated into the 2017 Ultra Edition.
Your idea will be forwarded to the flanneled shirt mastermind. It should be noted Lucas briefly considered adding Boba Fett escaping from the Sarlacc to the 1997 Return of the Jedi Special Edition, but decided against it due to high costs involving filming new scenes with computer generated special effects.)
Hey SS, greetings from Virginia. Do you remember in the Special Edition of Return of the Jedi when they show that brief moment on Coruscant with them tearing down the statue of Palpatine? (SuperShadow: Truly amusing.) I think old George should put them making it in Star Wars Episode 3 if they haven’t already. (SuperShadow: Superb idea. This one will be forwarded for immediate consideration.) Please post this. May you dominate the Force forever. (SuperShadow: We all know the Force is the SS slave.)
SuperShadow, you’re slacking. (SuperShadow: SS doesn't care what people think. Hahaha.) Why haven’t you answered the countless thousands of mail you receive? (SuperShadow: SS apologizes. SS hasn’t been posting enough comments and questions. SS knows, SS knows. From now on, SS will spend more time updating SS.com so that more of you will get posted.)
I know you have a personal life, but if you’re not a die hard, intravenously fed Star Wars addict like me, then you’re not cut out for it. IT’S NOT BLOODY GOOD ENOUGH! (SuperShadow: You have thrown down the gauntlet and SS accepts your challenge. SS will start providing better daily updates. SS does apologize to the countless thousands of you sending in comments and questions and have not yet been posted on SS.com. SS will make the best effort to post as many of you as possible if such can even be accomplished.)
Hey SS. Do you know what Lucas' plans are on Star Wars Episodes 7 - 9? (SuperShadow: Lucas is going to leave it up to the fans to produce the Star Wars sequel trilogy if Lucas no longer exists by May 2021. However, recently, Lucas has stated he will give away a great deal of his immense wealth to benefit Human civilization. This is very, very extremely doubtful because 99 percent of Lucas' riches are the monetary value of the motion picture and the product merchandising rights to Star Wars and Indiana Jones. Lucasfilm can't survive without excessive revenues from Star Wars.)
I just read all of the plot summaries and they are almost as cool as all of your reality owning! (SuperShadow: Hahaha. Are you prepared to rule the planet in perpetuity?) I would very much like to see these made as they show a lot of new Star Wars ideas that are awesome and have yet to be used. (SuperShadow: The script story summaries of Star Wars Episodes 7 8 9 are some of Lucas’ greatest ideas ever.)
I know Lucas might end up spending the rest of his life doing Star Wars films, but that is already part of his legacy. Also, if they were well planned out, produced and executed in a Lord of the Rings fashion, we could quite possibly be talking about three of the greatest movies of all time. Also, are you excited for the Ultra version of 2017? (SuperShadow: Oh yeah. SS is always happy to serve George Lucas.)
I am just not quite sure about it yet. I liked the original, disliked the special editions and have no idea what to think about the Ultra idea. Please guide us, Oh Great Shadow. (SuperShadow: SS thinks we should embrace the Ultra Edition because it gives us something new about Star Wars to look forward to although the end could arrive momentarily. Hahaha.)
(STAR WARS EPISODE 7: "JASON HORNE") One of the most interesting parts of the original "Spider-man" was watching Peter Parker figure out how to use his powers. Seems like he adapted to crawling up the side of buildings and hanging upside down a bit too fast. In the opening of Star Wars Episode 7, Jason is asked to join the Imperial Air Commandos or Air Marshals, even though he's still a cadet.
(He was able to identify star ships from blurred images in long range scans, even though they were cloaked or partially cloaked.) But the fun part would be seeing Jason master the rocket pack or jet pack. (Billy Campbell did similar in "The Rocketeer”). Eventually, Jason will have to take on Mara Jade and she has a light saber. (SuperShadow: Killer cool.) Does the rocket pack give him enough of an advantage to fight a highly skilled female Jedi like Mara? Probably not. When I watch the Olympics, particularly women's gymnastics, I would never imagine women would be able to do such things, to bounce up in the air and turn a twisting somersault before landing.
Mara needs to have this same level of accomplishment in her chosen fields. (SuperShadow: Tres cool.) Maybe Jason is practicing with his rocket pack and he lands on top of Hanks' Temple and gets a glimpse of the kyber crystal that he couldn't see any other way. Flying with a rocket pack isn't as great as web slinging, but it's in the same ballpark. (SuperShadow: Yeah, being Spider-man rages BIG TIME.)
Nice site! I've never been posted yet, but what do you think of this idea? Why not for the Star Wars Ultra Edition in 2017 add a scene showing BOBA FETT escaping the SARLACC PIT? (SuperShadow: Tremendous idea.) His uniform can be all torn and damaged and he can take off his helmet so we can see that he looks identical to JANGO FETT. (SuperShadow: Nice touch.) He can have a sigh of relief perhaps and curse HAN SOLO. What do you think? Please post. I would love to see what LUCAS and the fans think also. (SuperShadow: Everyone is gonna love your bright idea.)
The reason Princess Leia speaks in an English accent (in Star Wars Episode 4 A New Hope) is the same reason Padme does during the senate scenes in the Star Wars prequel trilogy. It is a form of court etiquette, so it’s not cause of "Lucas humor" this was done on purpose. (SuperShadow: That Lucas. Always joking around. He never takes anything serious. Now what were you saying?)
How's the political machinations beyond the imagination going? (SuperShadow: Exactly as planned 25 (twenty five) years ago and counting. Hahaha.) Hey, can you tell us more about General Grievous' bodyguards, like where they came from and how they fit in the whole scheme of things, etc? Are they users of the Force? (SuperShadow: Grievous’ bodyguards are a species called Hortraki from the planet Ambize. They are usually Force sensitive and can use their special weapons to fend off light saber attacks by Jedi. They are advanced cyborgs being partially real flesh and blood biological and part droid.)
Hey Supashaaaada! I have heard a rumor that Obi-Wan Kenobi uses both his Star Wars Episode II and Episode IV light sabers in Star Wars Episode III. (SuperShadow: No way.) Is it possible that in the battle with Grievous that his Star Wars Episode II light saber is destroyed? (SuperShadow: That could happen.) And when Obi-Wan kills Grievous with a blaster, he takes one of Grievous' light sabers to use for the rest of the movie and this is the one he has in A New Hope? (SuperShadow: Magnificent idea. This will be forwarded to Lucas with haste.)
My thinking is that with all of the wars he simply does not have time to construct a new one so uses one of the General's since he will not be needing it any longer. Is this the history of Obi-Wan's Star Wars Episode IV light saber? (SuperShadow: SS loves this idea. SS would like for your idea to become official Star Wars history.)

Shadow, in 2017, will the Ultra Edition of the Star Wars classic trilogy contain new scenes? (SuperShadow: Yes, definitely. George Lucas will add scenes involving Darth Sidious on Coruscant, Bail Organa on Alderaan and other random concepts similar to prior improvements of the classic trilogy. However, the Star Wars Ultra Edition might not happen given how ancient George Lucas is becoming. Lucas might finally give up trying to make the Star Wars original trilogy the equal of the stunning mega great Star Wars prequels, which can have no rival.) Lucas could add planets like Coruscant or characters like Prince Xizor in the classic trilogy. Please answer. (SuperShadow: Chosen ideas. These will be forwarded to Lucas.)
Hey SS, glad to hear about your round the clock Earth domination! (SuperShadow: It’s great being SS.) I hope you can answer these, perhaps you already have. (SuperShadow: SS can see the future. Hahaha.) Well, here are my questions: when Darth Vader reached the peak of his abilities, could he alone have defeated Palpatine or did he absolutely need Luke Skywalker to accomplish this task? (SuperShadow: Hmmm. Well, as long as Darth Sidious has the kyber crystal, then Vader would really be no match for Sidious. Vader believes that he needs someone very powerful like Luke Skywalker to defeat Sidious.)
I believe that if Vader had converted Luke to the dark side of the Force, then in that case Palpatine would have easily been defeated with the Skywalkers' combined strength. (SuperShadow: Yeah, SS thinks so. The Skywalkers alone can defeat Sidious.) Also, would Luke in his prime be more powerful than Yoda in his prime? (SuperShadow: Oh yeah. Luke in his prime is many times more powerful than Yoda.)
Just watched "Shattered Glass" with Hayden Christensen (Anakin Skywalker actor from the final two episodes of the Star Wars prequel trilogy). Very good. He's a good actor so it must mean that Lucas isn't a very good screenwriter and director to make the performances of Hayden and Natalie Portman (Padme Amidala actress) look so bad in the Star Wars prequels. (SuperShadow: In all fairness, there is nothing wrong with the acting performances of Christensen and Portman. You must be very upset about something if you diss Lucas. You can’t blame Lucas for your misconception of reality.)
Hey S.S., is there a security staff at Skywalker Ranch? (SuperShadow: The security at Lucasfilm headquarters is fairly easy to crack. Come on down. Lucas enjoys meeting the lunatic fringe of Star Wars fandom. Hahaha.) Don't get scared, I'm too poor to travel to California. (SuperShadow: SS is amused. You have an amazing sense of humor. Hahaha.)
Hey SS, I was pretty disappointed with the light sabre fights in Star Wars Episode II Attack of the Clones. (SuperShadow: SS agrees. The light saber duels were much too short in time duration.) What are the light sabre fights shaping up like for Star Wars Episode III? (SuperShadow: You wouldn’t believe how awesome the light saber fights in Episode 3 are gonna be. There are at least five separate light saber battle sequences in the next Star Wars movie. This is a dream come true for the fans. The influence SS has over Lucas is brain shattering.)
Light sabres are one of the main reasons I like these movies and the potential for supremely ace scenes was lost in Star Wars Episode II when Anakin picked up 2 light sabres only to lose 1 of them about 5 seconds later. Cheers mate. (SuperShadow: Hahaha. Yep, Anakin was kinda lame garbage crap against Dooku in Episode 2.)
Yo, SS, what’s going on? (SuperShadow: Check it and see.) Just one quick question. Do you think the Jedi misunderstood the prophecy of Anakin? (SuperShadow: Perhaps so.) The prophecy said he would bring balance to the Force and he did. Before he became Vader, there were 2 Sith and thousands of Jedi, but after he turned there were only 2 Jedi, Yoda and Obi-Wan. 2 Sith and 2 Jedi. (SuperShadow: SS guesses so.)
That seems pretty balanced to me. I guess the Jedi didn't realize that the Force was swayed in their way. Keep owning the planet and keeping us informed. You da MAN! (SuperShadow: There is no one similar to SS. You are all witness to the SS unbound genius.)
Hey SS, 2 quick ones: Why did David Prowse not speak, only act in the Star Wars classic trilogy as Darth Vader? (I agree James Earl Jones' voice was perfect in retrospect, but was Prowse's voice so awful he needed dubbing?) (SuperShadow: Prowse has an ordinary voice with no distinction so there was no way he could portray the menacing Darth Vader voice that Lucas wanted.)
Also, did you ever notice how in Star Wars Episode 4 A New Hope, the scene where Princess Leia is talking to Grand Moff Tarkin, she suddenly affects an English accent? (SuperShadow: Just a little Lucas humor.) Then she reverts back to an American accent for the rest of the Star Wars trilogy! What's up with that? Thanks for posting if you do! (SuperShadow: The more you hyper examine the classic trilogy, the more mistakes you will find. Lucas doesn’t really care what you think, which is ab fab hilarious. Hahaha.)

Luke Skywalker is the greatest Jedi of all time simply because in his time there were two Jedi Obi-Wan Kenobi and Yoda the only two true links to the light side of the Force and the only ones who used it. So when they died, Luke being the only Jedi left was open to use the entire light side of the Force or "the will of the Force" that is why he is the greatest Jedi ever because he learned to tap into all of that power and could control it. (SuperShadow: Perhaps so. The Force chose Luke to rebuild the Jedi Order. It is just the will of the Force for Luke to be the most powerful Jedi of all time.)
How long is the fight between General Grievous and Obi-Wan from Star Wars Episode 3? (SuperShadow: About 5 to 7 minutes in length on a new planet.) And why is it that Grievous is destroyed with a blaster and not a light sabre? (SuperShadow: Grievous manages to disarm Obi-Wan of his light saber so Obi-Wan is forced to use a blaster against Grievous.) My only guess is that Obi-Wan loses his light sabre. (SuperShadow: Correct belief unlike so many in the world today. Hahaha.) Does Grievous also lose his light sabres? (SuperShadow: Not entirely.)
When Obi-Wan goes to Geonosis, why does Count Dooku say all that stuff to Obi-Wan when he is tied up? (SuperShadow: Dooku was hoping to get Obi-Wan to join the dark side of the Force so that with Obi-Wan then Dooku would be able to destroy Darth Sidious.) Dooku couldn't be trying to tempt Obi-Wan to the dark side because he explains that he is fighting against a dark lord, who has overtaken the senate and betrayed Nute Gunray.
Also, how did you manage to get the "scripts" for Star Wars Episodes 7 - 9 off George Lucas? I would have thought that he wouldn't let his own children see them. (SuperShadow: Lucas gave us plot synopsis summaries, not the actual scripts. SS is the only person Lucas can really trust so Lucas felt very comfortable giving SS the Star Wars Episodes 7 8 9 story spoilers.)
Hey Super! If Darth Vader had died a Sith, how would it have affected the Force? Would it still be unbalanced? Please post. I keep trying. (SuperShadow: If Vader remained a Sith at death, then nothing would have changed except that Vader would not be able to return as a Jedi ghost at the end of Star Wars Episode 6 Return of the Jedi. The Force is brought into balance with the destruction of the Sith. This doesn’t change regardless of Vader’s ultimate decision at death.)
Hey Super! I have an odd statement, maybe something you'll find credible. In Star Wars Episode 1 The Phantom Menace, Qui-Gon Jinn explains that midichlorians whisper to you the will of the Force, if you listen close enough. (SuperShadow: False rumor.) Your midichlorian list tells that Palpatine and Vader have the highest count.
Well, if they are indeed being told the will of the Force and they both happen to be bad *** Sith, does that mean the actual will of the Force is the dark side? Thanks! (SuperShadow: You’re just making this stuff up. Midichlorians do not "whisper" the will of the Force to the Force user.)
Hello SuperShadow, you have one of the best Star Wars websites EVER! (SuperShadow: Kinda obvious. No one disputes this hallowed fact.) This is my first time posting and I'm hoping you will answer my questions and post them because a lot of people want to know the answer to this question: HOW COME QUI-GON JINN DIDN'T JOIN THE FORCE WHEN HE DIED? Is this an error on behalf of George Lucas or is there an answer to this question?
Please answer or I might die from wondering. (SuperShadow: This is no error. At the time of Qui-Gon Jinn’s demise, the Jedi did not know how to come back as Jedi Force spirits ghosts after death. Lucas has stated on occasion that Yoda, Obi-Wan and Anakin Skywalker learn a special Jedi technique that allows them to vanish at death and then return as a Jedi ghost. Qui-Gon never learned this technique.)
This question has really been bugging me, Shadow. In Star Wars Episode 2 Attack of the Clones on the DVD, there is the deleted scene of Padme's family. What ever happened to them? (SuperShadow: Padme’s family is alive and doing well. We might see them in Star Wars Episode 3 at Padme Amidala's funeral unless their scenes are cut from the film once again.)
Hey SS, what’s shaking? (SuperShadow: The Multiverse is no match for SS. Hahaha.) Wrote in a couple a times and never got answered so I guess I will try again short and sweet. What and who is the Star Wars expanded universe character they are talking about (not General Grievous) the one that has a minor role in Star Wars Episode 3?
Could you let us in on the delio? (SuperShadow: SS can tell you that this character is NOT Mara Jade, Grand Admiral Thrawn or Prince Xizor. This expanded universe character is a small time character and their scenes may not make it into the final cut of Star Wars Episode 3.) By the way, great website and keep controlling reality, bro. (SuperShadow: Let there be SS. Hahaha.)
Hey. How do you figure that Plo Koon ranks higher than Anakin Skywalker on the most powerful Jedi in history? That’s crazy! (SuperShadow: Plo Koon is a Jedi Master, who reaches his full potential. In contrast, Anakin is just a Jedi Knight, who never reaches his full potential as a Jedi.) And Princess Leia shouldn't even make the list because she never even trained past Jedi padawan it seems. And don't say after the movies she became a Jedi Knight because you don't regard any of the Star Wars expanded universe anyway. (SuperShadow: Hahaha.)
In fact, we never see Luke Skywalker become the most powerful Jedi onscreen so how can you say that he becomes the most powerful Jedi 15 years later? All of a sudden, you are regarding the expanded universe? Please let me know where you stand. (SuperShadow: SS is not going by the Star Wars expanded universe. SS is utilizing Star Wars info that comes straight from George Lucas himself. That is the only SS source.)
At any point in his light saber duel with Anakin and Darth Sidious, does Mace Windu realize he is not going to win and try to escape to fight again with more help? (SuperShadow: No, Mace Windu accepts his fate and goes down with all guns blazing against Sidious and Anakin. Windu never surrenders.) Imagine if Windu had escaped and returned with Yoda, Obi-Wan and all the other Jedi Masters to fight Sidious and Anakin.
It would be the ultimate battle royale! (SuperShadow: Yeah, sounds awesome. That would be just too cool. Lucas doesn’t like to overwhelm the fans with giving them the absolute greatest fights. Lucas likes to hold back some of the best ideas because the fans can’t handle all of them in the same movie.)
Hello SS! What is the Ultra Edition of the classic Star Wars trilogy? (SuperShadow: By around 2017, Lucas is planning to perhaps improve the classic trilogy some more in order to produce an Ultra Edition of the classic trilogy for the 40th (fortieth) anniversary of Star Wars Episode 4 A New Hope.)
This means that GL will change more the classic movies? Do a more homogeneous version of the oldies? GL must add scenes of the Emperor in A New Hope and change many, many things! Cheers! (SuperShadow: Lucas will make many, many changes for the Ultra Edition if it ever happens.)
What's up, SS? (SuperShadow: The SS rides go round and round 24 hours 7 days a week. Non stop. Hahaha.) I keep hearing you say that Obi-Wan is the most skilled Jedi, but on your SS website and other websites I keep hearing that by the time Anakin and him fight in Star Wars Episode 3 that Anakin has surpassed Obi-Wan's skills and the only reason Obi-Wan defeated him was because he was able to stay focused unlike Anakin, who was too emotional and Obi-Wan got lucky because Anakin slips. (SuperShadow: Not true. Obi-Wan remains superior to Anakin all throughout Star Wars Episode 3.)
So basically wasn't it just Obi-Wan's day more then Obi-Wan actually being a better Jedi because Obi-Wan couldn't beat him 20 years later, which is why Obi-Wan sacrificed himself so that he could help Luke Skywalker because if Obi-Wan could have beaten Vader then he would have. (SuperShadow: Some would argue that Obi-Wan could have defeated Vader on the death star. However, it was a part of Obi-Wan’s master plan to sacrifice himself for the good of the Star Wars galaxy. Crazily insane Jedi schemes are an important plot element of the top secret Star Wars script formula.)
If Anakin wouldn't of been so emotional and would of been on steady ground where he wouldn't of slipped, then Anakin would of been the better Jedi. Hope you post this and tell me what you think. (SuperShadow: SS doesn't agree with your theory. With astute observation, SS firmly believes that Obi-Wan’s Jedi skills are far superior to those of Anakin. Anakin never reaches his full potential as a Jedi.) Thanks, love the website! (SuperShadow: Just doing the SS duty for the fans.)
Greetings Lord Shadow. How is it that destroying planet Valorius will end the dark side forever? (SuperShadow: Over the ages, the dark side has become super concentrated in the Valorius star system.) I thought that the Force was neither good nor evil, it is only the Force. (SuperShadow: Not true. The Force has two sides similar to our God and Lucifer.)
It's how people use it that matters. Also, who would win in a fight, Darth Revan or Count Dooku? (SuperShadow: Dooku.) Darth Malak vs. Darth Maul? (SuperShadow: Maul.) Jar Jar Binks vs. C-3P0? (SuperShadow: Jar Jar.) Thanks SS, keep being the hero. (SuperShadow: So it will be.)
Hey SS, greetings from Oxford, England! (SuperShadow: SS loves merry ol’ England especially Doctor Who and Kajagoogoo.) Just in the middle of watching the Lord of the Rings film trilogy (some session!), when it occurred to me: why can't GL put even half the effort into the whole Star Wars 'experience'? (SuperShadow: Lucas is actually working harder on the Star Wars prequels than Peter Jackson worked on the Lord of the Rings movie trilogy. Lucas will have spent 10 years dedicated to the Star Wars prequels whereas Peter Jackson only spent se7en years working on the Lord of the Rings motion picture trilogy.)
As one Lord of the Rings fan to another, the extended DVDs of the trilogy are awesome. (SuperShadow: SS completely agrees. Extended versions of the Lord of the Rings films are pure genius. One of the greatest ideas of all time.) Everything about what Jackson has accomplished is phenomenal, from the movies themselves (especially making extra bits just for the true fans) right through to the presentation of the DVDs. (SuperShadow: All very nice. Jackson has his finger on the pulse of the fans.)
It made me think, how cool it would be if GL did the same thing for both the Star Wars prequels and the originals. Imagine owning the movies in specially crafted boxes with commissioned artwork, hours of insights from all involved, and specially extended versions of the films just for the fans (of which there are millions). (SuperShadow: Never gonna happen. Lucas is more concerned with capturing his vision and not what the die hard fans want to see. We can't question Lucas. Not ever.)
I know the big man is driven by money, but surely he can't fail to see that he'd make a fortune from doing this? (SuperShadow: Lucas is kinda lazy. Making extended versions of the Star Wars films would take many, many years. Lucas would like to temporarily walk away from Star Wars after Star Wars Episode 3 is complete.) If you have any influence over him, please make him do this for us! (SuperShadow: Sorry. SS can’t. SS doesn't want Lucas spending the rest of his life working on Star Wars. It’s time for him to retire from the franchise.)
I, like so many others, would gladly pay extra to have versions of Star Wars anything like the quality of Jackson’s masterpieces. (SuperShadow: SS bets so, but since when are prayers answered by Heaven? Hahaha.) Just comparing the boxes shows just how mass marketed, mass produced Star Wars has become and the difference in the passion of both film makers.
(P.S., I can't imagine anything better than having Jackson put the same level of emotion and excitement into the Star Wars sequels (SuperShadow: Reference to Star Wars 7 8 9.) as the Lord of the Rings! We must convince him to make them!) (SuperShadow: After the smashing success of the Lord of the Rings film trilogy, we can probably no longer afford Jackson’s salary demands. He is simply too expensive to hire for Star Wars Episode 7 8 9.) Peace and continue to rule. (SuperShadow: SS will always rule them all, which none dare doubt.)

Hey S.S. happy July Fourth! (SuperShadow: Remember Sputnik was first. Hahaha.) Will Anakin Skywalker / Darth Vader or anybody block a blaster shot in Star Wars Episode 3 using their hand like Vader did from Han Solo's shot in Star Wars Episode 5 The Empire Strikes Back? (SuperShadow: No, not gonna happen in Episode 3. SS thinks this would be a great idea for the Anakin vs. Obi-Wan Kenobi duel on Mustafar.) Thanks and enjoy all the red, white and blue cupcakes! (SuperShadow: You betcha.)
("THE CREEPING FEAR") (Harrison Ford) In the news today: "The head of the U.N. nuclear watchdog, Mohamed ElBaradei, goes to Israel on Tuesday. Under its policy of "strategic ambiguity," Israel neither admits nor denies having nuclear weapons. But it is believed to have up to 200 warheads, based on estimates of the amount of plutonium Israeli reactors have produced." (SuperShadow: You can never have too many nukes. Hahaha.)
So, right now, in the most volatile region in the world, one country has ~200 nuclear warheads. (SuperShadow: Thankfully, only the Israelis have nukes in the region.) That's the reality. That's "The Creeping Fear" that replaces "Bruce the Shark" as the thing that scares us the most. (SuperShadow: Nukes are very scary. One nuke could destroy New York City in an instant.) Harrison Ford plays the world's most likable star, a man who got tired of the Hollywood scene and retired to a ranch in Montana, where he keeps a Deusenberg in his barn and polishes it whenever he feels lonely.
He's also a pilot with a P-40 and he gets to visit the future. (SuperShadow: Sweet. Time travel is kinda fun.) He gets to see suitcase nuclear weapons being built by terrorists. He gets to see the testing laboratories run by the American government. And he gets to visit places in the future where these nuclear weapons are used on a battlefield, where a silly conflict escalates and not just a few, but hundreds of missiles with nuclear warheads are used in a battle to obliterate the cities within the missile's range. (SuperShadow: Yikes. Holy temptation of Heaven.)
And then he goes back to his own time, the 1940s, and has to figure out how to stop it from happening. (SuperShadow: Good luck.) So, he takes the role of Luke Skywalker, thrown into a situation that he's not prepared for. "Sure, I hate the Empire, but there's nothing I can do about it." (SuperShadow: Positive thinking at its best. Hahaha.) Having seen the future, he knows he can do something about it. And I suppose he comes out of retirement and runs for United States President. (SuperShadow: Mr. President, here are the hidden UFO secrets, which are absolutely terrifying beyond the Human imagination. Hahaha.)
That might be the reason the aliens (SuperShadow: What extraterrestrials aliens? You never said nothing about aliens extraterrestrials. Hahaha.) chose him, that in one possible future, the President is able to, but he knows it's not enough, that the technology is out of the bag, that nuclear weapons are too easy to build (or buy for $ 30 million U.S. dollars on the black market) (SuperShadow: You mean all SS needs is $ 30 mill to get me a nuke in particular a suitcase nuclear device?) and the aliens are right.
We're not smart enough. Humanity is going to blow itself up, within the next 50 years, and the pod people want to take over our planet after we're gone. (SuperShadow: The future is ambiguous at best.) In the real galaxy, there aren't very many habitable planets with breathable atmosphere and if we're imbecilic enough to wipe ourselves out with nuclear weapons, they'd like to live here after we're gone. (SuperShadow: Would Earth be habitable after a large scale nuclear exchange? SS doesn't think so.)
In "Star Wars Episode 6 Return of the Jedi" when Han Solo ignites Boba Fett’s backpack, Boba’s helmet should fly off when he collides with Jabba the Hutt's sail barge showing who he really is. (SuperShadow: Superb idea.) It's a nice way see that he is an exact copy or "clone" of Jango Fett. (SuperShadow: SS loves this idea. It will be forwarded to the mastermind in charge.)
Ties in nicely with "Star Wars Episode 2 Attack of the Clones." Too late for that now because all the DVDs are now ready for the store shelves. What do you think, Supes? Good idea or not? Keep up the great work. (SuperShadow: This is a fantastic idea that George Lucas should add to the future Ultra Edition of the classic Star Wars trilogy.)
Hi SS, if you could be a Jedi who would you be? I would be Obi-Wan Kenobi. He rocks! (SuperShadow: Obi-Wan would be a nice choice. But personally, I would prefer to be Kaja Sinis, the first Jedi and founder of the Jedi Order.)
Happy birthday USA. (SuperShadow: Celebrate our freedom. Unstoppable tyranny could arrive in an instant. Permanent unending defeat for eternity forever and ever.) Hi SS, I'm thinking about a little thing. Star Wars Episode 1 The Phantom Menace was like a Disney film in his ambiance. (SuperShadow: Yeah, I guess so.) Star Wars Episode 2 looked like a teenager movie as the way the love story is told. (SuperShadow: Episode 2 is a tremendously entertaining movie despite the very, very extremely low box office earnings in multiplexes theaters cinemas worldwide.)
That seems that this two movies were for a public with the same age as Anakin Skywalker in the movies. So now, with Star Wars Episode 3, will it be an adult dark and violent movie? (SuperShadow: Episode 3 will be overly dark and depressing. However, it is no more violent than any other Star Wars film.) Congratulations, your website is excellent. (SuperShadow: SS.com is most excellent. Currently, SS.com is ranked as the number one most visited and most popular Star Wars website of all time in history ever. Most important. Most influential. Most ingenious.)
Great Shadow good day. I was wondering: What if a dark side user wanted to once again be able to use the Force after Luke Skywalker destroyed the dark side at the end of Star Wars Episode 9 Victory of the Force? How would they (the former dark side user) be able to do this? (SuperShadow: Not sure. It is difficult for a dark sider to return to the light side of the Force. It is unlikely that former dark side users could ever use the Force again.)
Greetings Shadow, I'm asking me why Coruscant isn't in the Star Wars classic trilogy? It's the most important planet in the galaxy. That's the home of Darth Vader and Darth Sidious! I hope Lucas will insert Coruscant in the remade version of the classic trilogy. I'm waiting for your answer, Master. (SuperShadow: Well, when Lucas was making the classic trilogy back in the late 1970's / early 1980's, the necessary special effects technology to create a planet like Coruscant did not yet exist. Lucas wanted to show Coruscant in the classic trilogy, but he had no way to make that planet for the films. It should be noted a brief shot of Coruscant was added to Star Wars Episode 6 Return of the Jedi Special Edition.)

Hey SS, Please answer this! General Grievous looks too brittle and skinny. He should look a little more burly and sturdy. (SuperShadow: Grievous is a droid. Droids are usually thin.) Maybe for his arms and legs, you could see his muscles through a clear glass cylinder thing, to put a little more meat on his body. (SuperShadow: Sounds major.)
Also I think Grievous should wield two double bladed light sabers instead of four individual light sabers. Thanks. Great website. (SuperShadow: SS is with George Lucas on this one. SS thinks Grievous using four light sabers at once is a tremendous idea. Only Lucas could think up a way to surpass the Darth Maul double bladed light saber from Star Wars Episode 1 The Phantom Menace.)
Ahoy SS! It's my first post. Please post me! I was wondering if you could answer a few questions I have: 1. What would have happened if Obi-Wan Kenobi had escaped from his light saber duel with Darth Vader on the death star during Star Wars Episode 4 A New Hope? (SuperShadow: Obi-Wan would have joined the Rebel Alliance and then taken Luke Skywalker to Dagobah to meet Yoda.) 2. What would have happened if Luke Skywalker had joined Darth Vader after their duel in Cloud City? (SuperShadow: With Luke, the Empire would have quickly crushed the Rebel threat.)
3.What would have happened if Anakin Skywalker had helped Mace Windu to fight Darth Sidious? (SuperShadow: Windu and Anakin probably could have defeated Sidious. Maybe.) 4. What would have happened if Qui-Gon Jinn had not been killed by Darth Maul? (SuperShadow: Qui-Gon would have trained Anakin. Thus, Anakin might not have ever fallen to the dark side of the Force. Again, a big maybe.)
5. What would have happened if Darth Vader had not died after being electrocuted by the Emperor? (SuperShadow: The Rebel Alliance would have severely punished Vader for having the blood of billions of innocent souls on his hands during the Imperial dark times. Sidious and Vader wiped out entire star systems.)
6. What would have happened if Anakin had stopped fighting against Obi-Wan in Star Wars Episode 3 and decided to help him and the Jedi? (SuperShadow: The Jedi might have defeated Sidious. Not sure though.) Please answer these questions as I think they are key moments in Star Wars and I want to know what it would have been like if these things had happened. Thanks SS. See ya! (SuperShadow: Later.)
Hi, Sups. It's been a longtime since I didn't post to you so sorry if it takes long. But in this time, I developed myself and even got the first thread appearing on the official Star Wars website main page: "Main Villain: GG or Anakin?" I'll be honored if you take a look at it. (SuperShadow: Practically nobody visits the official website.)
Anyhow, questions and comments rushing: 1) I looked back at your most powerful lists and saw that Sidious with the kyber crystal is more powerful than Anakin, though Anakin makes 27,700 midichlorians while Sidious does only 20,500 with the kyber crystal.
How's that? (SuperShadow: Your midichlorian count is not the dispositive factor in determining your strength. Sidious is more deceitful and a lot smarter than Anakin, which helps explain why Sidious is more powerful than Anakin. Based on a careful review of the Star Wars galaxy, all historians consider Sidious to be the single greatest military and political genius of all time ever.)
2) It's really fantastic that George Lucas is gonna use the old Vader suit on the fans' pressure. It's just awesome. Thanx a lot, Master! (SuperShadow: Just doing the SS job, which continues merely until the Fifth Coming.) 3) Can you give a clue about which duel will include the last ten minutes miracle? Palpatine vs. Yoda or maybe a Mechanical Vader fight? (SuperShadow: The mechanical Darth Vader in action during Star Wars Episode 3 is a literal impossibility.)
Or is it just Palpatine and Vader watch the space without any duel? That would not be fair! (SuperShadow: The last few minutes of Star Wars Episode 3 are relatively quiet and sublime.) 4) A photo of Hyperspace shows Mace Windu "recoiling from a forceful attack." Does the word "forceful" here means "the Force" or just means powerful? (SuperShadow: That pic shows Mace Windu trying to block Force lightning shot by Sidious.) Because if it is the Force as we understand, than it is not General Grievous and as it is so powerful, it is Anakin or Palpatine.
Which one is it? Who pushes Windu so backward, Master? (SuperShadow: Sidious.) 5) Again, in your most powerful Jedi list, you have Anakin as the 9th. It's the Star Wars Episode II Anakin, no? (SuperShadow: Yeah, Anakin never reaches his full potential as a Jedi.) 6) What about Nebar Foxis' appearance on the big screen? (SuperShadow: Foxis has 3.7 seconds of screen time. To the max.) Thanx for answering all this. Rock on, Great Master! (SuperShadow: On top of it all as usual.)
Lord Shadow: I'm glad to hear about the new editor on Star Wars Episode Three. Star Wars Episode Two was great, but some of the crummy dialogue could've been cut (i.e., Anakin / Padme love story and Jar Jar Binks). (SuperShadow: The Jar Jar Binks backlash reduced the box office gross of Star Wars Episode 2 Attack of the Clones BIG TIME.)
A good movie lasts two hours. Nothing more. Nothing less. (SuperShadow: What about Titanic, Gone With The Wind, the Lord of the Rings film trilogy. Each of those films is at least three hours in length. Even Avatar goes on and on for what seems like forever.)
Star Wars Episode One The Phantom Menace was good, but could've used less Jar Jar and Jake Lloyd (Anakin Skywalker actor) and no midichlorians. However, Star Wars Episode One needed more Darth Maul and Qui-Gon Jinn shouldn't have been so feeble. (SuperShadow: SS thought that Qui-Gon engaged in a **** of a fight against Maul. One of the best fights of cinema in history.)
In Star Wars Episode 4 A New Hope, Vader and a lot of Imperial officers are on the death star and one of them says that the death star is NOW the ultimate power in the Universe. Maybe they spent the last 20 years destroying whatever was more powerful than them. (SuperShadow: Hahaha. Pure genius. You might be right.)
And why does Count Dooku train people like Sev'Rance Tann and General Grievous in the dark side of the Force? (SuperShadow: Dooku wants to use his apprentices to destroy Sidious.) And why does Sidious allow it? Thanks. (SuperShadow: Sidious is unable to detect the fact that Dooku is training his own apprentices.)
Hey SS, why did you stop the time countdown counter to Star Wars Episode 3? (SuperShadow: The actions of SS are always inexplicable with absolutely no explanation.)
Dear SuperShadow, I've just read the plot of Star Wars Episode 9 Victory of the Force. It says that the dark side is destroyed for ever. At that moment of time, if there were any users of the dark side of the Force, what happened to them? (SuperShadow: At the moment the dark side is annihilated, all dark side Force users lose their ability to feel and use the Force. The dark siders become harmless.)
Did they suddenly turn to the light side of the Force or did their body get destroyed instantly? (SuperShadow: No, the lack of the dark side made the dark siders powerless. They became unable to tap into the power of the Force.)
Also, I am not sure about how the Jedi after that are going to learn. If you look at Star Wars Episode 5 The Empire Strikes Back and Star Wars Episode 6 Return of the Jedi, it is reasonable to state that Luke learned the Jedi Arts in the light side of the Force, having known what exactly the dark side of the Force is. In other words, "there is no light without darkness." Can you please answer my questions? Thanks so much! (SuperShadow: The dark side has no influence on the Jedi. The Jedi can train better without temptation from the dark side.)
A found your website recently, Shadow. It is the best, no joke, and I have just one a quick question: how do Jaina and Jacen Solo have a lower midichlorian count than their brother, Anakin? They're all from the same family, so shouldn't they all have the same? (SuperShadow: No, siblings often differ greatly in their genetic make up. Jaina, Jacen and Anakin are not triplets so their genetic profile is greatly different.)
But Jacen is also supposed to play a part in some sort of prophecy, isn't he? (SuperShadow: That is not Lucas’ vision of Star Wars.) So wouldn't he have even more than his brother, Anakin? (SuperShadow: No, not at all. You are incorrect.)
Hey SS, you’ve got the best website on the web by far. Just wondering what you think of all the CGI? (SuperShadow: In general, computer generated imagery is good for film in every way we can measure. It opens the world to greater possibilities.) I prefer models. (SuperShadow: SS doesn't. Real world models of star ships are limited in what you can do.) They look more real because they "are" real, just smaller. And whatever happened to good old matte paintings? (SuperShadow: Matte paintings don’t look as real as computer generated back grounds, which are actually beyond photo realistic.)
Hey Master Shadow, I'm a huge fan of Mace Windu and in your opinion, how do you think his death scene was handled? Punk or Hero. Take your pick. (SuperShadow: Hero. Mace Windu goes down with all gears in rage against Anakin and Sidious. You will be amazed.)
Hey SS, will General Grievous use any Force powers in Star Wars Episode 3 and, if so, what kind? (SuperShadow: Not visibly.)
Greetings Master Shadow. Earlier you posted that there may be a Star Wars TV show that explains how Obi-Wan learns that Anakin is Darth Vader. Is there any truth behind that possibility? (SuperShadow: Just unfounded rumors. No one can predict the next move of Lucas.)
I think that it would be awesome to have a TV show in the fall of 2006 called "Sith Empire" and it shows the events after Star Wars Episode 3. (SuperShadow: Killer cool.) It should show the Jedi Purge and Vader slaughtering Jedi and others opposed to the Emperor.
It should show the Empire taking over the galaxy and why Vader is known and feared across the galaxy. (SuperShadow: Mega entrancing.) It should also include Luke Skywalker as a young boy and Obi-Wan Kenobi watching over him from afar. There should be some scenes showing how Luke already possesses Jedi potential, like Anakin in The Phantom Menace with the ability to fix things easily and pilot Pod Racers. (SuperShadow: Right on.)
Also, I think that Obi-Wan should leave Tatooine for some reason or another to a new planet and come across Darth Vader doing some sort of evil deed. (SuperShadow: Nice idea.) Obi-Wan, being the good hearted Jedi that he is, tries to stop Vader. When this happens, Vader tells Obi-Wan that he is really Anakin and how he survived their duel on Mustafar with the help of the Emperor and the dark side.
Vader tells Obi-Wan that the dark side has made him more powerful, but he also feels that the handicap of having mechanical limbs and the inability to breathe without the help of his suit keeps him from being as powerful as he believes he can and should be. Seeking revenge, Darth Vader attacks Kenobi and a battle, more intense, and more in Vader’s favor than their battle on Mustafar ensues. But Obi-Wan comes out victorious by slicing off Vader’s light saber wielding arm.
Obi-Wan tells Vader that the dark side will never make him powerful enough to conquer the will of the light side of the Force. (SuperShadow: Tres cool.) Obi-Wan then escapes from the planet without being tracked. He then goes to Dagobah and tells Yoda of Darth Vader and that he is really Anakin. This would all help explain how Obi-Wan and Yoda both know that Vader is Luke’s father. (SuperShadow: Makes sense.)
There could even be some insight into young Princess Leia on Alderaan and show her rise in political power by becoming the youngest Imperial senator and how she uses that power to help the Rebel Alliance. That’s my idea on the TV show. Now it’s your fate to help make it happen. Please forward this idea to the almighty one. Thanks! (SuperShadow: All this dazzlement will be forwarded pronto.)
Hey SS! Love the website. (SuperShadow: All do.) Just wondering why you keep calling Darth Vader "Mechanical Vader" when referring to Star Wars Episode 3. Thanks for posting such a terrible question to this grand death star sized website. May the Force be with you! (SuperShadow: Mechanical Vader is a term used to describe Anakin after he starts wearing the Vader mask and armor at the end of Star Wars Episode 3.)
My family recently got a copy of the original VHS wide screen Star Wars movie trilogy. (SuperShadow: Congrats.) I recently watched them and I think they are excellent. I think that models and puppets simply look better than most computer effects because they are actually there. (SuperShadow: SS disagrees. Muppets look extremely fake.) And the special edition computer effects are laughable. (SuperShadow: Not true. Take it back. Hahaha.)
You can't just put computer effects in when everything else is models and sets and puppets. It doesn't have continuity and the stuff Lucas added is unnecessary. (SuperShadow: Lucas knows what he is doing. Doesn’t he?) I don't think people look back on the originals with "rose colored lenses" because most of the effects hold up. The only movie where the effects mistakes are visible is A New Hope.
Other than that, The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi look pretty **** good. The Battle of Endor is incredible (although I will admit that the stuff with the Ewoks gets kinda boring). The only thing Lucas did with the special editions that looks good is the erasing of the black outlines of the star ships. That’s just from the blue screen effects. Other than that, I don't think the special editions look any better. (SuperShadow: The Star Wars Special Editions are billions of light years better than the original versions of the Star Wars classic trilogy. All hail the infinite genius of Lucas for eternity and much, much more.)

Hey SuperShadow, killer cool website you have here! (SuperShadow: Oh yeah.) I have a suggestion. Some people are kind of questioning the age difference of Obi-Wan Kenobi between the Star Wars prequel and classic trilogy, that Obi-Wan looks like he's close to 70 or 80 years old in the old trilogy, yet he only reaches 37 years old or so by Star Wars Episode 3. I think we should see the duel between Obi-Wan and Anakin Skywalker so intense that it actually visibly ages Obi-Wan, like Palpatine might be deformed during his duel with Yoda. (SuperShadow: Superb idea. SS loves this one. This will be forwarded to the Moon Master.)
When in Star Wars Episode II, Mace Windu says: "I will take what Jedi we have left to Geonosis to help Obi-Wan," what did he mean? What had happened to some of the Jedi? (SuperShadow: Around the galaxy, there are about 10,000 Jedi. However, at any given time, there are only about 200 or so Jedi located at the Jedi Temple on Coruscant. The rest of the Jedi are spread out all over the galaxy keeping the peace in thousands and thousands of star systems. Windu took all the Jedi that were at the Jedi Temple and headed to Geonosis.)
You have the ultimate Super Size website! (SuperShadow: Yeah, but you don’t get fat.) Wanted to ask a burning question. When Yoda escapes from Darth Sidious, does he get to Dagobah with the others on the run or does he fly his own star ship? (SuperShadow: You need to read the Star Wars Episode 3 plot summary. According to the SS Star Wars Episode 3 story synopsis, Bail Organa takes Yoda to Dagobah in the Tantive 4 Blockade Runner.)
It would be cool to see Yoda pilot a mini star fighter. (SuperShadow: That would be interesting.) One last thing, does General Grievous look the same in Star Wars Episode III, as he does in the Clone Wars animated television series? Your website is the best! (SuperShadow: No, Grievous looks a lot better in Star Wars Episode 3 with near photo realistic computer animation than in the Clone Wars TV show with primitive technology.)
SS wrote: "People tend to adore the original version of the classic trilogy even though it looks like complete crap."
These intelligent people can actually appreciate what makes a good movie. They like the originals because in every aspect except superficial "effects" they are supremely superior to the Star Wars prequels. (SuperShadow: Obviously, you’re remembering the classic Star Wars movies through rose colored glasses, which is a total embarrassment to all true fans. The films you remember as a youngster no longer exist. The classic trilogy is slow and boring and the special effects are laughable. It all looks completely nightmarish now.)
Why isn't General Grievous on the top 15 Sith list? (SuperShadow: Grievous is not a Sith. Instead, Grievous is better described as a Rogue, Shadow or Dark Jedi. Take your pick.)
I don't see how Leia Organa Solo is a more powerful Jedi than Mara Jade Skywalker: Princess Leia hardly has any Force training and isn't very skilled with a light saber, where as Mara is Jedi Master and is skilled at these things, as well as many others. (SuperShadow: Leia has more Force potential than Mara, but you are probably right that Mara is the superior Force user at this stage of the game.)
Hey SS, your website only gets better and better every day, I can never get through a day without visiting your website. (SuperShadow: Thankfully, there’s no cure.) A few questions. 1) Can you name all the light saber fights in Star Wars Episode III, if you can't release such sensitive info, could you just tell me how many there are? (SuperShadow: Star Wars Episode 3 consists of five separate light saber duels: Anakin Skywalker and Obi-Wan Kenobi vs. Count Dooku / Darth Tyranus, Anakin and Darth Sidious vs. Mace Windu and several notable Jedi, Obi-Wan vs. General Grievous, Yoda vs. Sidious and Obi-Wan vs. Anakin.)
2) How come in 'The Star Wars Insider' magazine all the scenes in Coruscant look like it’s sunset. It makes me kinda sleepy. (SuperShadow: Hahaha. Good question. SS guesses Lucas likes to create the Coruscant scenes at night or dusk.)
Just read that there is a new editor working on Star Wars Episode Three, is this true? (SuperShadow: Yes.) Unlike all the criticisms I have been reading, I really enjoyed the first two Star Wars prequels. Star Wars Episode 2 Attack of the Clones did better than Spider-man over here. In Australia, it does not appear to have been criticized anywhere near as much as in your land. Loved the more complex plot. (SuperShadow: Yes, SS enjoys the very, very extreme complexity of Star Wars Episode 2.)
But I do agree that editing was one area that could be improved. The story building scenes were too slow and a little boring. Tighter editing would help. (SuperShadow: The new editor should be able to make Star Wars Episode 3 stronger in many areas although we all know and accept that George Lucas is unable to make mistakes.)
Yo SS, still kicking it in over drive? (SuperShadow: Always.) Here's a thought. Once the first death star is constructed then blown up, the second one would take no time at all to build. Once you have done something a first time then the second time you do it should be much quicker. (SuperShadow: Perhaps so.) Also, there is no doubt that Obi-Wan knew Vader was Anakin. When he leaves the others to turn off the tractor beam, Obi-Wan tells Luke Skywalker that his fate exists upon a different path.
I always believed he said this because he knew that Vader was on the death star and that that would be the last time he got to speak to Luke while still alive. I have a question though. Why does Vader tell Obi-Wan he should not have come back? (SuperShadow: We don’t know why Obi-Wan’s return was bad. Perhaps, Obi-Wan hides from the Empire and Vader is just telling Obi-Wan it was a mistake to come out of hiding.)
This leads one to believe that the two of them have been on the death star, together, before. Is this just a plot snafu or is it just a mention to their first duel and Vader is trying to intimidate Obi-Wan in an attempt to regain some confidence after being mangled by his former mentor the last time they saw each other? (SuperShadow: Not sure.) Coach K to the Lakers? Peace from ATL. (SuperShadow: Coach K might be a great recruiter, but he is an awful coach.)
Master Shadow, will Star Wars Episode III be co written by the same person, who helped Lucas with Star Wars Episode II? (SuperShadow: No, Lucas fortunately wrote Star Wars Episode 3 all by himself.) And if so, judging by your account, does Star Wars Episode III dialogue flow more easily? (SuperShadow: The dialogue in Episode 3 is pretty sweet. Many memorable lines. Another Lucas classic.)
Also, with regards to the Star Wars sequels, who has been slated to write them or will Lucas choose to have us, the fans, write them? Thank you and may the Force be with you. (SuperShadow: Lucas has written brief plot outlines for the sequel trilogy (Star Wars Episode 7 8 9). Lucasfilm will hire top Hollywood screen writers to make complete scripts out of Lucas’ brief plot summaries. Victory will soon be achieved.)

Hey, just stumbled upon your website a couple days ago. Wish I had found it a long time ago. (SuperShadow: Finding SS.com is like winning the lottery an infinite number of times.) I am not sure if this has been asked already, but where's Exar Kun on the powerful Sith list? Did I miss his name or does he have a DARTH name that I don't know about? (SuperShadow: Exar Kun is now on the list of the most powerful Sith Lords in history.)
And where's Bastilla Shan on the powerful Jedi list? (SuperShadow: This character was not powerful enough to make the current list. Few Star Wars fans even realize such a Star Wars character exists.) Also, do you think George Lucas will bring the Star Wars saga to prime time TV? (SuperShadow: This could happen with several Star Wars television TV series shows.) TV networks and fans would both go for it. (SuperShadow: SS agrees.) I'd personally like to see a series that chronicles the exploits of Boba Fett. He's extremely popular, but his character wasn't really explored in the movies.
And his brief segments onscreen didn't do him much justice (he was accidentally defeated by a blind guy). I want to see why Boba Fett earned a reputation as one of the best bounty hunters in the galaxy. I want to see what makes the deadly mercenary tick. I want to see Fett kick some ***. (SuperShadow: SS would want a Star Wars TV show to cover what happens after Star Wars Episode 3.) Thanks SS, your website is the best. Keep up the great work. (SuperShadow: SS got the fever. SS knows for sure there ain’t no cure.)
Hey SuperShadow. I just have a comment on Lucas' decision to remake Star Wars Episodes 4 - 6. Lucas has nothing to be embarrassed about. It’s true that the special effects aren’t that great, but that’s just by today's standard. You can’t use the same measure for them that you do today's movies. For their time, they were the best looking movies there were. (SuperShadow: This is true.) I would consider that an accomplishment rather than an embarrassment. Why fix something that isn’t broken? I happen to like the movies the way they are.
But this is just my opinion. Thanks for posting this SuperShadow. Your website rocks! (SuperShadow: Yeah, many fans feel like you do. People tend to adore the original version of the classic Star Wars trilogy even though it looks completely horrific compared to the ingenious Star Wars prequels. Lucas hopes to use advanced photo realistic computer animation to make the Star Wars classic trilogy the perfect looking films although Lucas is becoming more and more ancient, which means Lucas might NEVER improve the classic trilogy again during his very, very extremely long life time.)
Hey SS, have you seen the changes Lucas made to THX 1138 on the new director's cut DVD? (SuperShadow: No. You couldn’t get SS to watch that film with a dozen super models at the side of SS. Dysotopian authoritarian nightmare governments are to be avoided.) They look amazing! (SuperShadow: SS bets so. Lucas can perform supernatural miracles with ease.) If you're going to do it to that THX 1138, why not do the same for the original Star Wars trilogy? (SuperShadow: Lucas doesn't really care what we think. Hahaha.)
The most powerful Jedi of all is obviously not Luke Skywalker. It is Anakin Skywalker. Anakin was born from the Force and Luke would be lucky to have half of his father’s abilities. (SuperShadow: Anakin has the greatest potential of all Jedi. However, potential doesn’t mean much if you don’t complete your training as a Jedi. Anakin walked a way from the Jedi Order to serve the dark side of the Force. Hence, Anakin never had the chance to reach his full potential as a Jedi. In contrast, Luke Skywalker spent 15 arduous years after Star Wars Episode 6 Return of the Jedi mastering the ways of the Jedi Arts. Luke succeeded where Anakin had failed.)
Hey SS, where are these comments coming from about Obi-Wan Kenobi recognizing Vader without seeing his mechanical suit? Apart from the fact that 20 years have passed and surely Obi-Wan would have seen a pic or something, Obi-Wan wouldn’t have to see Vader to recognize him. Obi-Wan is a Jedi. Vader recognized Obi-Wan was on the death star before he even saw Obi-Wan. Case closed. Obi-Wan would recognize Vader even if he were dressed up in spandex and wearing hockey gloves. (SuperShadow: Excellent point. SS guesses Obi-Wan can use the Force to determine what form Anakin is now taking. So Obi-Wan is able to sense Anakin inside the Mechanical Darth Vader suit of armor.)
Does Anakin manage to wound Obi-Wan during the final battle? (SuperShadow: SS dares not say. Their battle unleashes every single combat move the Jedi know. Simply amazing, but Anakin is no match for Obi-Wan. Not even theoretically, figuratively or symbolically.) Maybe a light saber puncture wound to the leg or a slice across the chest would be cool and Anakin could give a wicked smile and sneer: "I am an excellent student, aren't I master?" Obi-Wan: "Patience has always been your undoing, my padawan. You failed to learn that lesson." (SuperShadow: Killer cool dialogue.)
Here's an idea for Yoda's escape from Darth Sidious. And since I don't read the Star Wars expanded unverse novels, it might be a new Jedi trick. Force reflection. Yoda has scarred Sidious and is almost wiped out. Yoda then is able to create several, maybe a dozen reflections of himself, confusing Sidious long enough to escape. (SuperShadow: Sounds pretty shocking to me. Most worthy of Lucas.) Here is a question: In the original series, Vader is choking some poor sap, who doubts the power of the Force.
Tarkin orders Vader to stop and he does. Does this mean Vader is third in command behind Tarkin and Sidious? It seems like a plot snafu? Why would Vader take orders from Tarkin? (SuperShadow: Lucas has stated that he did not want Vader to seem like the big boss over the Imperial officers. So it seems that the highest ranking Imperial officers can give Vader orders. This all changes after Luke blows up the death star. Palpatine then gives Vader complete authority over the entire Imperial Navy.)
Hey SS, your website rocks! Have you watched Troy? (SuperShadow: No. SS is going to go see Spider-man 2 instead.) If Eric Bana would turn green and angry and become the Hulk, he would have crushed Brad Pitt to a pulp. (SuperShadow: Hahaha.) Wanna ask you great one, when is Mr. Lucas going to make a Jedi Knight game in PlayStation 2? (SuperShadow: Not sure.) I'm so disappointed with all the Star Wars toys that don't have enough articulation to allow da figure to hold a light saber with two hands. (SuperShadow: Not cool at all.)
Those toys look so stiff and imbecilic. I wish they would do something about da toys. Last question. Can da Star Wars Episode 3 Obi-Wan defeat Count Dooku? (SuperShadow: Not really. Obi-Wan has no luck against Dooku for some strange unknown reason.) What is Luke's light saber fighting form? (SuperShadow: Luke doesn't follow such Jedi traditions.) Thanks SS, DA FORCE IS STRONG WITH U IF U POST MY Qs. (SuperShadow: SS is ready.)

Hey SS. In response to the "trillion dollar question" (does Obi-Wan Kenobi actually see Anakin Skywalker in his Darth Vader suit before the events of Star Wars Episode IV A New Hope), I propose the most logical answer with some valid evidence behind it. No, Obi-Wan does not actually see Anakin again until the death star light saber duel, but Obi-Wan uses the Force to identify Vader as his old padawan learner. (SuperShadow: Interesting take on this subject.)
Here's the proof. Earlier in Star Wars Episode IV when the Millennium Falcon arrives at the death star, Vader orders a scanning crew to have every part of the ship checked even though nobody was initially spotted. Quote: "I sense something. A presence I've not felt since . . . " Vader is obviously referring to Obi-Wan, who is hiding in the smuggling compartments. Vader insists to Grand Moff Tarkin that Obi-Wan is on the death star and does not plan on escaping.
Before the duel scene, Obi-Wan whips out his light saber after the storm troopers run away from the camera. Obi-Wan anticipates Anakin's presence and comes face to face with him during the duel. I hope this answers the question! Peace out! (SuperShadow: Pure genius. It does appear that the Force guides Obi-Wan in these things.)
And another thing, you say the reason Luke Skywalker is the most powerful Jedi of all time is due to his patience and dedication. When does he acquire these virtues? Certainly not during the course of Star Wars Episode IV - VI. Luke is restless and faithless (despite the Emperor’s observation). Luke doubts himself and the Force. (SuperShadow: All very true.)
He doesn’t listen to Yoda's guidance and flies off the handle to rescue Han Solo and Company. And in the final battle sequence, Luke strikes at the Emperor out of anger, he unleashes a flurry of attacks upon Vader because he is afraid for Princess Leia. He is not strong enough to hide her true identity from Vader’s mind probe. Fear, anger and rage. Are these not the tools of the dark side of the Force? (SuperShadow: No, you’re exaggerating. Luke never actually taps into the dark side.)
And yet you count him as the greatest Jedi of all time. Does Luke only reach this pinnacle of serenity and enlightenment after he has no more taxing trials to undertake? (SuperShadow: It is true that Luke does not reach his zenith of power until about 15 years after the events of Star Wars Episode 6 Return of the Jedi. It just takes time to become great.) Still awaiting acknowledgment of ANY of the gauntlets I have thrown your way. Or does the master have no more lessons to teach? (SuperShadow: Hahaha. Thanks for your comment. Good stuff.)
Any chance that we will get to see Anakin's light saber blade turn from green to red in Star Wars Episode 3? (SuperShadow: No chance.) Does Yoda sense Mace Windu's death? (SuperShadow: No.) It would be cool to see a Jedi Wookiee take on Vader. (SuperShadow: Excellent idea. This will be forwarded to the master, but George Lucas has always rejected the concept of Wookiee Jedi Knights.)
Hey SuperShadow, please forward this to GL. (SuperShadow: SS will.) I think when Anakin and Obi-Wan are in their final battle that an awesome opera like symphony should play, almost like Star Wars Episode 1 The Phantom Menace with the fight of Obi-Wan and Qui-Gon Jinn vs. Darth Maul at the end of the movie. (SuperShadow: A new Duel of the Fates would rock.)
But more deep and menacing. This would be cool. (SuperShadow: Tres cool.) Oh yeah, you mentioned Lucas doesn’t know any fans names other than yours so here goes. Alex Penzes. (SuperShadow: Hahaha. Now Lucas knows who you are. Congrats.) Please post this. (SuperShadow: No need to worry.) Everyone who knows me knows my passion for Star Wars. I collect all the action figures new and classic and own a parks saber, which is my pride possession. (SuperShadow: Sweet.)
I know it’s a year away, but I’m pretty hyped up for Star Wars Episode 3 and can’t get enough of your SS website. (SuperShadow: Countless numbers are completely addicted to SS.com.) It really is the best Star Wars website on the Net even though I think more pictures would help. (SuperShadow: As you wish, SS master.) Rock on! Please post this! You rule! (SuperShadow: Rage on.)
Greetings exalted one! I was just wondering if we will hear any of Yoda's famous sayings or if there are going to be new famous sayings? (SuperShadow: No Yoda dialogue from the classic Star Wars trilogy will be used in Star Wars Episode 3. Yoda does have some cool new lines of dialogue. Will these words become keepers? SS doesn't know with certainty.) I still get chills when I hear the "My ally is the Force" speech! (SuperShadow: Killer cool.) Peace! And may the Force be with you, always! (SuperShadow: SS rules the Force with an iron fist.)
Hey SuperShadow! Your website rocks. I come here every time. (SuperShadow: Join the masses.) Can you please explain what you mean by depressing (as in a bad movie) or as in emotionally depressing, since it is so good? (SuperShadow: Let SS clarify. When SS refers to Star Wars Episode 3 being depressing, SS doesn't mean depressing as in an awful movie. It’s just the opposite. Star Wars Episode 3 is such a depressing, dark and disturbing movie that the die hard fans are going to be utterly stunned. Star Wars Episode 3 makes Star Wars Episode 5 The Empire Strikes Back look like a happy Smurf movie.)
Hey SS, my question is in regards to the Star Wars Special Edition DVDs. Since Mr. Lucas is going to re film Star Wars Episodes 4, 5 and 6, why not put the original Star Wars Episodes 4, 5 and 6 without the upgrades on DVD? (SuperShadow: In all fairness to Lucas, Lucas is just too embarrassed by how lame garbage crap the original versions of the classic Star Wars trilogy now look. It is difficult to watch the classic movies in their original form. The 1997 special editions made the classic trilogy watchable again. However, Lucas will consider releasing the original versions in a future DVD release in order to maximize excessive profits.)
Fans like me and others who grew up watching the originals would be ecstatic. (SuperShadow: Secret, secret. We've got a secret.) The star ships looked real not animated. That was what got me hooked at a young age to the Star Wars saga. (SuperShadow: You must accept Lucas’ vision of Star Wars. There is no other choice.)

Hey SS, in Star Wars Episode III how much screen time does Chewie have? (SuperShadow: Chewbacca has less than 5 minutes of screen time in Episode 3.) I hope he never meets R2-D2 or C-3PO because that would make no sense later on. (SuperShadow: Chewie doesn’t get to meet the droids in Episode 3.) Also I was looking at the picture you posted of the disfigured Anakin Skywalker and the droids putting him back together while Sidious looks on. It looks kind of dark and disturbing. (SuperShadow: Foreboding.)
More like they are doing this to Anakin against his will rather than trying to save him. Is this the case? (SuperShadow: Anakin is unconscious so he has no idea what is being done to him. Anakin wakes up as the Mechanical Darth Vader and Anakin is very, very angry.) Will we get an appreciation for Obi-Wan Kenobi's statement: "Anakin is more machine now than man, twisted and evil." (SuperShadow: Perhaps so sorta.)
Hey SS, if Darth Maul had survived Star Wars Episode 1, how powerful would he have become by Star Wars Episode 2? (SuperShadow: Maul would have become extremely more powerful if he had survived Episode 1. The ten years in between Episode 1 and 2 would have given Maul much time to train and master the dark side of the Force.) And could you give some examples of who Maul could've beat? (SuperShadow: By the time of Episode 2, Maul could probably defeat Anakin, Obi-Wan, Plo Koon, Ki-Adi-Mundi and many other Jedi.)
Hey SS, King of all he can see. Here's a thought provoking question for you. In the Jedi lifestyle, it is known a master can discipline his apprentice, through such things as work detail, extra physical training or through suspension of activities. (SuperShadow: This is not official. Lucas has never revealed in the Star Wars movies how Jedi padawans are punished by their masters for doing bad things.)
The question is, how do Sith discipline their apprentices? Surely, Darth Sidious had to have gotten mad at Darth Vader for failing him at least once, if not more times. (SuperShadow: In the Star Wars expanded universe, Sidious is constantly torturing those who fail him. However, this does not apply to Sidious’ Sith apprentice. When an apprentice fails him, Sidious is greatly upset, but he doesn’t actually punish them except for open threats of future harm.)
1- Anakin is the one with more midichlorians, but he is not the most powerful Jedi ever? How's that? (SuperShadow: Anakin leaves the Jedi Order before he can reach his full potential as a Jedi Knight.) 2- Who is more powerful Vader or the Emperor? (SuperShadow: The Emperor is more powerful than Vader because the Emperor possesses the kyber crystal.) 3- Why Luke Skywalker is the most powerful Jedi? (SuperShadow: It’s just the will of the Force for Luke Skywalker to be the greatest of all Jedi and this fact is based on the genius vision of George Lucas.)
4- How you determine who is the most powerful? (SuperShadow: Lucas decides such things.) Please, I really had think about this question and I really don't know the answer. Help me! Thank you! (SuperShadow: It’s my pleasure to answer your questions. Send in some more when you think of them.)
Shadow. How are you? (SuperShadow: In full force.) I have a question regarding Star Wars Episode II. When the clones attack at the end of the movie, where did all the ground vehicles, gun ships and star ships appear from? Are these Republic vehicles that just sit around between major wars and did Yoda just happen to take them along to Kamino when he went to check out the clones? (SuperShadow: When Sifo Dyas (or whoever pretended to be Sifo Dyas) ordered the clone army, this person also paid to have a large military built consisting of many ground vehicles, gun ships and star ships. Through the Force, Yoda sensed that the Jedi were in trouble on Geonosis. So Yoda brought the clones and their military hardware to defeat the Separatists droid military.)
And if Yoda did take them along with him, how did the clones know how to pilot / operate them? (SuperShadow: For many years, the mature clones were practicing each day how to use the various military hardware that was built for them to utilize.) That is the simulations the clones were using on Kamino may have been for Republic vehicles, however; this seems too easy to explain. (SuperShadow: Star Wars rarely makes any sense when you hyper examine it.)
Thanks for your time. P.S. I have been reading your site since February 2000 and have never been posted. (SuperShadow: Today is your day to shine. Feel proud that you have finally been posted on the # 1 most visited Star Wars web site of all time in history ever.) The Force must be with me once in my lowly life. (SuperShadow: Hahaha. You are very modest.) And may the Force be with you and all those Allied military personnel serving in Iraq. Down with Osama! (SuperShadow: We will ultimately win the war on terror . . . eventually in the far, far distant future of the utterly unknown.)
Do you think that George Lucas would ever release an unrated version of Star Wars Episode Three and charge $ 50 U.S. dollars for it? (SuperShadow: Hahaha. Don’t tempt Lucas for he is always chasing the money. I don’t think Lucas would ever produce an unrated movie. Not gonna happen.) Lucas would make ridiculous amounts of money and fans would love it. (SuperShadow: I agree that the fans would love it, but Lucas doesn’t want to court controversy by making an unrated film.) I would pay that amount of money for an unrated version of Star Wars Episode 3, but that’s cause I make enough money that I could afford it. (SuperShadow: Good for you. Fifty dollars for a movie would be much too high especially in the current economic situation.)
Every one knows Lucas loves money more than anything so I see no reason for him not to do this. (SuperShadow: Lucas has now agreed to donate most of his wealth to charity, which signals the eventual arrival of the final doomsday apocalypse. Hahaha.) You could help convince him for us. You may have seen the unrated version, but we haven't **** it. Help us SuperSS. You are our only hope. (SuperShadow: With my genius, I could easily convince Lucas to produce an ultra violent version of Star Wars Episode 3, but it don't really matter so it’s not gonna happen. Don’t be too upset at SS. Hahaha.)
Hey SS, first time writer here (SuperShadow: Congrats on getting posted on SS.com indeed you have achieved the impossible itself.) and I have a quick question for you. First of all, though, let me just say that I love this SS.com website and as a great fan of Star Wars I am glad that this website exists. (SuperShadow: SS.com exists solely to entertain and inform the fans for what remains of perpetual eternity.) But anyway, the question is, in Star Wars Episode II, when Obi-Wan goes to Kamino, he talks to Lama Su and is informed that Jedi Master Sifo Dyas' order is on schedule. So my question is, who is Master Sifo Dyas?
Is it another name that Qui-Gon Jinn went by or is it a totally different person? I know this is a simple question for you so please clear this up for me. I will appreciate it greatly. Thanks and may the Force be with you, SS. (SuperShadow: The answer to this question can be found in the History of the Jedi and Sith section of SS.com.)
What do you think Darth Maul's reaction would have been if he had a premonition and realized what Anakin would one day become? Would Maul have sought to destroy Anakin as competition? Thanks SS! (SuperShadow: Maul did not have the ability to access the dark side to see the future. So it would have been impossible for Maul to foresee the rise and downfall of Anakin Skywalker.)
I have only one simple question. Please answer it on your website: Why didn't Yoda take infant Luke Skywalker to Dagobah with him and train him as a Jedi from childhood on, rather than risk the fate of the galaxy on one person, who was too old to begin the training? It seems foolish to me or is it just another plot hole? (SuperShadow: Technically speaking, this is a major plot error beyond the imagination. However, Lucas’ explanation is that it was not safe to train Luke from infancy to be a Jedi because Darth Sidious would have been able to detect Luke if Luke’s Jedi training had begun at near birth.)
Hey SS, I was just wondering how powerful Darth Vader is in Star Wars Episode 3? (SuperShadow: I think Vader is so powerful in Episode 3 that he can defeat every single Jedi except for Obi-Wan.) Was Anakin even that powerful before he became Darth Vader? (SuperShadow: Anakin becomes more powerful by joining the dark side.)
I mean, it doesn't seem to me that Anakin is considered all that powerful in Episode 3 and then all of a sudden he becomes Darth Vader and he is the most feared person ever. So what's going on? (SuperShadow: Hahaha. Vader is not feared by the people immediately. It takes several mega atrocities committed by Vader before the galaxy infinitely fears Vader.)
Is Anakin really a lot more powerful in Episode 3 then I really think? (SuperShadow: Yeah, you need to give Anakin more credit.) Is Anakin more powerful than Mace Windu? (SuperShadow: Yes, of course. Anakin defeats Mace Windu in Episode 3.) More powerful than Obi-Wan? (SuperShadow: No.) More powerful than Yoda? (SuperShadow: Yes.)
I'm thinking Anakin is definitely more powerful than Kit Fisto, Plo Koon and all those other powerful, but secondary characters in Star Wars. Please answer this post and let me know why Darth Vader is so feared at first. Thanks! (SuperShadow: Like SS said earlier, Vader is not feared at his very creation as a Sith Lord. It takes a few years for Vader to establish his reputation as the second most evil person in the galaxy.)
