Hi. I have a question regarding the two Star Wars movie trilogies. If the Star Wars Episode 1 - 3 trilogy was made first, do you think it would have changed anything? (SuperShadow: Very drastic changes in the Star Wars plot outline. Historically, Lucas makes up the plots to the Star Wars films as he goes along. If Lucas started with The Phantom Menace in the 1970's, then the differences between the current story would be unrecognizable to what we take for granted.)

Perhaps changed the unmade Star Wars Episode 4 - 6 trilogy? (SuperShadow: Yeah, I believe so. Darth Vader probably wouldn't be Anakin Skywalker. Additionally, it's doubtful that Luke Skywalker and Princess Leia would be twins and related by blood.) Or would everything have panned out exactly as it had before? (SuperShadow: No, the Star Wars saga would be altered in ways unfathomable to the fans. We can't begin to imagine what might have been. For instance, it would have been impossible to create Jar Jar Binks with the ancient special effects. Jar Jar might not exist today. Many of you would applaud this outcome.)

Hey SS, Happy New Year! (SuperShadow: All hail Valhalla.) I watch the Star Wars The Clone Wars TV show every Friday on the Cartoon Network. (SuperShadow: It's your required obligation as a member of the fandom.) It's totally awesome! (SuperShadow: Better than that.) Anyway my question is this: What happens to Anakin's apprentice Snips (can't remember her name), did she survive the Jedi Purge? (SuperShadow: It'll be another five years before you learn the fate of Ahsoka Tano. Complaining won't make an exception to this fact.)

Master Shadow, what are your thoughts about the growing Sith religion? (SuperShadow: Please don't make me laugh any more than I already do. It's difficult to get work done with me being hysterical constantly.) Also is it true that Jar Jar Binks is Howard the Duck (suffering the effects of radiation poisoning after he was sent home through space)? (SuperShadow: Very witty. Jar Jar could be Lucas' revenge for your refusal to make the Howard the Duck movie enormously lucrative. Lucas can't stop laughing at the folly of the average fan.)

Hey Shadow, seeing that both Padme and Palpatine come from Naboo, and we don't see Padme's father in the films, what if Darth Sidious was her father? (SuperShadow: Pure genius. This is possible. In the classic X-Files TV show, Fox Mulder was actually the biological offspring of his most disliked enemy: The Cigarette Smoking Villain, who was one of the members of a secret society altering the history of the world from the shadows.)

What if Sidious sacrificed his only daughter as part of his machinations to bring about the fall of the chosen one? (SuperShadow: Yes, I can believe this. Sidious was, by far without doubt, the most evil individual in the history of the galaxy. Only a person willing to kill their own daughter would create a Sith conspiracy to destroy the entire free galactic civilization. This mesmerizing idea will be forwarded to Lucas. You have performed tres impressively. You are worthy to be a reader of SS.com.)

Hi Shadow. Earlier you told me that Luke Skywalker was relatively weak when Luke defeated Darth Vader. It's been said that Anakin Skywalker was weakened by his mechanical body as Vader. If Anakin didn't get his limbs cut off and was able to live to his full potential, how would Anakin stack up against Luke? (SuperShadow: This can't really be answered. It's very complex to consider. You have the chosen one who is protected by the will of the Force vs. the greatest Jedi Master of all time.

This battle really would create a paradox if Anakin or Luke had no choice but to kill the other. If Anakin is the chosen one, then he can't be killed until after the Sith have been destroyed. If Luke is the best Jedi ever, then obviously he can't be defeated at all. There is no solution to this puzzlement.)

Hey SS! Gotta a quick question for you. In The Empire Strikes Back, Luke was all but defeated by Vader and was asked to join the dark side, at which point Luke let himself fall down the shaft in Cloud City. What was his intent in doing that? (SuperShadow: Brilliant to raise this issue. I guess Luke would rather be dead instead of turning to the dark side. The real answer is that Luke was guided by the Force to escape the Sith. Yeah, that's a silly thing to say, but it accurately describes what happened since Luke was miraculously rescued by the Millennium Falcon.)

Was Luke going to kill himself to prevent himself from joining the dark side? (SuperShadow: We can't know for sure. Luke trusted in the will of the Force to protect him. This makes Luke appear to be extremely foolish.) Or did Luke know he would survive such a fall? Thanks and keep rockin! (SuperShadow: Yoda explained that the future is always in motion, which means it changes constantly, so Luke had no way to predict what would happen by means of utilizing the power of the Force.)

I love Star Wars and mostly everything about it, other than Lucas' obsession with good defeating evil. (SuperShadow: Comical. Made me laugh again.) I have read the plot scripts for Star Wars Episode 7, 8 and 9 and I have to say they sound like garbage. (SuperShadow: It is a tremendous honor meeting you. May you enjoy being addicted to SS.com like the unlimited number of visitors we average per day.)

How did you make General Grievous? (SuperShadow: The Star Wars plot formula demands the inclusion of cyborg (machine and biological hybrid) characters in each Star Wars movie trilogy. Grievous is basically a less advanced version of the mechanical Darth Vader. Beyond cutting edge computer animation, built on the genius of Jar Jar Binks, made Grievous totally life like and real.)

Lord Shadow, the Trench Run was suspenseful. We were totally engaged in Luke's mission. The Trench Run established Darth Vader as one of the all-time great villains. It gave him credibility. (SuperShadow: I guess. What movie is this from?)

For "Indiana Jones 5," you need a villain with equal credibility. Possibly a villain that Indy has faced before, and somehow changed his appearance so Indy doesn't recognize him at first. (SuperShadow: Inventive.)

What if the villain is Merlin? A sorcerer who is still alive in 1959? I don't think you can pass him off as Genghis Khan, but that's a possibility. When Indy and Marion open the tomb of Genghis Khan, someone comes out? OK, that's too much like "The Mummy" to work. (SuperShadow: Indiana Jones has to be original. We can't borrow concepts from other films.)

I like the idea of Merlin better. Remember the Lady of the Lake, where King Arthur found his sword Excalibur. What if the lake was actually Lake Geneva in Switzerland? And the power to make a person younger comes from the Lady of the Lake? Is that enough of a connection to a known legend? (SuperShadow: This is more than adequate for the basis of an Indiana Jones film. Indy Jones had many adventures we didn't get to see.)

Build the entire plot to create the most emotional impact for Indy saying good-bye to Marion, and then boarding a train for London and the United States. Indy travels alone on a noisy train. Nice ending. (SuperShadow: I can't improve on this.)

How many episodes of the Star Wars: The Clone Wars TV series will there be in Season I? (SuperShadow: Season 1 of the new Clone Wars will have 22 individual episodes in total.)

SuperShadow, I know why Luke Skywalker fought so violently with his light saber against his father Darth Vader in Star Wars Episode VI - Return of the Jedi, compared to Star Wars Episode V - The Empire Strikes Back. See when Vader told Luke that if Luke doesn't turn to the dark side and Princess Leia would that subtly upset Luke and that was the climatic moment of Luke Skywalker closing in on joining the dark side. (SuperShadow: One of the most important story elements of the Star Wars plot formula is that the primary hero is selfless and willing to do whatever it takes to save the ones he loves.)

Luke had to make a self conscious choice between the side of good and evil. Luke vigorously and violently kept striking Vader down and chopped Vader's right mechanical hand off from Luke getting mad because of what Vader said. (SuperShadow: Vader made a huge mistake in mentioning Princess Leia.)

That was the climatic moment if Luke should kill his father and join the dark side or should Luke defy the Emperor and choose the light side of the Force. (SuperShadow: Completely wrong. Absolutely incorrect. Lucas has firmly stated many, many times that Luke Skywalker was NEVER seriously tempted to join the dark side. The choice Luke made was whether to kill Vader and Darth Sidious or trust in the will of the Force. At the moment of truth, Luke had the opportunity to defeat both Vader and Sidious.

However, Luke didn't take the easy path. Instead, Luke sensed that the light side of the Force would deliver victory against the Sith without Luke having to fight in order to destroy the Sith. The light side of the Force redeemed Anakin Skywalker at the last possible moment and thereby the ancient Jedi prophecy was completed as Darth Sidious had always feared it would be. Luke NEVER considered joining the dark side. Your belief is nothing but a false fan myth.)

It really makes sense that Aayla Secura teaches Ahsoka Tano to avoid attachments. She had to avoid a strong relationship with Kit Fisto during the Battle of Kamino. (SuperShadow: Praise be to the Heavens.)

The planet Maridun, home of the lemur-like Lurmen, is the primary exotic locale of the "Jedi Crash" episode of the new Clone Wars TV show written by Katie Lucas. Costarring with Anakin Skywalker, Ahsoka Tano and Captain Rex of the 501st Legion. Aayla Secura and her top clone Commander Bly of the 327th Star Corps. (SuperShadow: We have finally seen the light.)

Supes, is there a standard height requirement for non clone storm troopers? (SuperShadow: A New Hope seems to suggest there is a minimum height for storm troopers, but Lucas has never confirmed this idea.) If so, what is it? (SuperShadow: There will probably not be an official answer from Lucas. It's possible the height of Jango Fett could be the minimum threshold.)

Also, where did Luke Skywalker and Han Solo discard their storm trooper disguises in Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope? And why did they keep on the storm trooper utility belts? (SuperShadow: Watch A New Hope more closely. The answer is too obvious.)

Mighty SuperShadow, I want to thank you. (SuperShadow: The fans owe me to such an extent you will all have to attempt repaying me for eternity.) Not just for being the greatest being to grace this Universe. (SuperShadow: My powers are not limited to this Universe.) But for your ironclad guarantee that the Carolina Panthers would tank in the playoffs. (SuperShadow: It takes no special abilities to predict failure for the Carolina Panthers. If the Panthers had defeated the New York Giants in the regular season, the Panthers would have had home field advantage in the NFL playoffs.

When it mattered the most, the Panthers lost to the Giants. As a result, the Panthers faced a fearless Arizona Cardinals team, which had nothing to lose. The self destruction of the Panthers at home in Charlotte, North Carolina against the Cardinals was inevitable. What surprises me is that Jake Delhomme (quarterback of the Panthers) ONLY had 5 interceptions and 1 fumble lost. That's actually a good performance for the pathetic Panthers.)

I put all my money on the Arizona Cardinals to beat them, and when they did, I made so much money! (SuperShadow: If only this were true.) Of course, I returned the favor by immediately going and spending all my winnings on Star Wars collectibles. (SuperShadow: That's amusing.) I hope they help you and Lucas in future Star Wars projects! (SuperShadow: Lucasfilm is really hurting right now. Profits are not as excessive as usual.)

I can't believe there will be no light saber battles in the live action Star Wars TV show. That's ridiculous! (SuperShadow: Stark reality, which must be accepted by the fans.) Oh ya and Qui-Gon Jinn should be higher on your Jedi power list. That's disrespectful! May the Force be with you. (SuperShadow: Qui-Gon is lucky to be ranked at all given what happened at the conclusion of The Phantom Menace.)

Lord Shadow, it struck me that we've learned a great deal about the Iconic Adventure Hero, Indiana Jones, but not as much about the college professor, Dr. Henry Jones, Jr. Which one did Marion marry? (SuperShadow: Excellent query.) Both, of course, but I wonder which one she prefers? (SuperShadow: Difficult to consider.) The man who rescued her from Tibet? Or the awkward grad student she fell in love with during her college years? (SuperShadow: Perhaps this will be explored during Indiana Jones 5.)

Ian Fleming (SuperShadow: The creator of James Bond 007.) always found an excuse to send his literary alter ego to the Bahamas, where he kept a house called GoldenEye. (SuperShadow: James Bond is so killer cool. Too bad this secret agent can't be real.)

Need to create a fascinating city for the Star Wars galaxy? Forget the blue-screens of Stargate Atlantis. (SuperShadow: Canceled by the Sci Fi TV channel after five short seasons.) Just walk through the slums and new architecture of a city like Mumbai. (SuperShadow: Siam's gonna be the witness to the ultimate test of cerebral fitness.) People living in cardboard boxes look pretty much the same all over the universe. (SuperShadow: We deserve no mercy for allowing the world to starve.)

Lord Shadow, the Golden Globe for best Drama didn't go to The Dark Knight, it went to a Bollywood game show movie. Why? Because the Hero took us along on an Emotional Journey, just like Luke Skywalker in "A New Hope." (SuperShadow: Interesting.)

Scorsese also talked about Spielberg creating a new visual style of storytelling and going to emotional places with "ET" and "Close Encounters." The main characters who experience the awe and mystery of First Contact, usually accompanied by a full orchestra. (SuperShadow: Don't expect much when you meet extraterrestrials because they will disappoint you every single time.)

At the end of Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith when Obi-Wan gives the baby Luke to Owen and Beru Lars and Obi-Wan leaves the homestead, what does Obi-Wan do immediately after this when he gets on that animal and leaves? (SuperShadow: As a direct result of causing the collapse of the Old Republic and Jedi Order, Obi-Wan consumed large amounts of Jawa juice for the next two decades. Being the primary reason for the destruction of civilization will make you doubt yourself.)

Why wouldn't Quinlan Vos be in the Star Wars The Clone Wars TV series? This is very upsetting. (SuperShadow: Who is Vos? You can't expect to see made up characters in Star Wars canon sources.)

If Ahsoka Tano's final fate is known only to you and Lucas, what about Dave Filoni? (SuperShadow: To prevent unwanted plot spoiler leaks, the only person Lucas can trust with all his secrets is me. Dave has no reason to know what happens to Tano in the end. It is unlikely Dave will still be involved in creating the new Star Wars The Clone Wars TV series when the time comes to reveal Tano's ultimate fate.)

Voice actress Jennifer Hale will give a voice to Aayla Secura in this Friday's Jedi Crash. Admiral Yularen of Anakin Skywalker's flagship the Resolute makes an appearance. (SuperShadow: Mesmerizing.)

Hi, I understand that you and George Lucas will be working on Star Wars Episodes VII, VIII and IX towards the 2020's, but I have a question. George Lucas may not be around to make the next Star Wars films so will they go into your hands? (SuperShadow: After Lucas perishes from hyper advanced ancient age, full control over all of Lucasfilm (including Star Wars and Indiana Jones) will be given to Lucas' three children.

It will be up to them to decide the future of Star Wars. Lucas' children literally worship me so whatever I say will be followed without question. However, Lucas can't die before the appointed hour so what you suggest is impossible. Lucas will still be laughing at the fans in thirty years when he is over 90 years old.)

In A New Hope when Obi-Wan raises his light saber to allow Darth Vader the fatal blow, what was Obi-Wan's motivation? Did Obi-Wan want Luke Skywalker to see the evil of Vader? Obi-Wan was calm and easily willingly joined the choir invisible! What is the real reason for allowing Vader to kill Obi-Wan? (SuperShadow: The primary reason Obi-Wan allowed Vader a quick victory is because Luke was actually watching the Obi-Wan vs. Vader duel in A New Hope.

Obi-Wan fully realized Obi-Wan could return as a Jedi voice and a Jedi ghost after death so Vader couldn't end Obi-Wan's influence over Luke. By making Vader kill Obi-Wan while Luke watched helplessly, this cemented Luke's despising of Vader and the Sith in general. For once in history, the Jedi finally outwitted the Sith Lords. It is very, very extremely rare for the Jedi to outsmart the Sith as the Star Wars prequel trilogy proved.)

Hey Shads! I have an interesting question for you! (SuperShadow: Oh, the excitement.) Let's say that you are a Jedi walking down a dark alley on Coruscant. Who is the last Sith that you would want to run into? (SuperShadow: I would definitely want to avoid the nefarious Darth Plagueis because he tortures his victims before death.)

And who is the last Dark Jedi you would want to run into? (SuperShadow: Spiden (from Star Wars Episode 7) is terrifying to even imagine.) And other then Nebar Foxis, which Jedi would you not want to run into? (SuperShadow: Jedi Master Tacceri Moojev because he was literally insane. Moojev lived about 500 years prior to the events of The Phantom Menace.) And just for fun, which non Force sensitive would you not want to run into? (SuperShadow: Tusken Raider, definitely. They are cruel beyond belief.)

Hey Shads, I was just wondering if you have heard anything new about the new Old Republic video game coming out later this year? (SuperShadow: I have no interest in the Star Wars video games. You will never see Star Wars video game spoilers at SS.com.) Rumor has it that there will not be a console version and I hope that is not true! (SuperShadow: Isn't it suppose to be an Internet based video game for personal computers? These types of video games don't appeal to the younger audience, who play the X-Box 360, PlayStation 3 and Nintendo Wii.)

How in the world do you and George Lucas expect to profit from this if it is not available to everyone? (SuperShadow: Lucas knows what he is doing. That's what his employees are suppose to do for him.) Computer video games have lost their luster. (SuperShadow: I disagree vehemently.) It's all about the X-Box 360 and the PS3! (SuperShadow: Not accurate at all. The home personal computer market is many times more massive compared to the next generation gaming consoles you mention.)

I'm not trying to be critical and I know this is something that you really don't care about. (SuperShadow: You can't imagine how little interest I have in this topic.) But you are interested in pleasing the fans. (SuperShadow: My job is to satisfy the fans of the Star Wars movies and TV series. Nothing else matters, not even slightly.) I know that many Star Wars fans, other than kids, are looking forward to this video game. Why not make it available to everyone? (SuperShadow: Nearly every person has access to a personal computer. Your pessimistic argument is not supported by the facts.)

Supes, this comment / question relates to the discussion about Obi-Wan leaving Anakin Skywalker for dead at the end of Star Wars Episode 3. Here it goes: If Yoda could sense the death of the Jedi younglings and Obi-Wan could sense the deaths of the people on Alderaan in Star Wars Episode 4, then isn't it conceivable they could sense the death of the "chosen one" had Anakin perished? (SuperShadow: The light side of the Force doesn't make Yoda and Obi-Wan omniscient given that Darth Sidious was clouding the light side with the kyber crystal.)

Even though Obi-Wan left Anakin for dead, Anakin never died, and, therefore, Yoda and Obi-Wan should have been suspicious that they didn't sense anything. They should have been suspicious that Anakin might have survived. Just a thought. (SuperShadow: What you suggest is logical, but given what happens in the Star Wars classic trilogy, Lucas was locked in on what he could do in the Star Wars prequels. Obi-Wan couldn't kill Anakin. That's a problem Lucas couldn't avoid. It necessarily creates a plot mistake if you're really concerned about being consistent. It's best not to dwell on what can't be explained.)

Posted previously on the ultra mega ingenious SS.com: "(SuperShadow: Jedi Nebar Foxis is a gorgeous extraterrestrial species, which explains why the great looks of Foxis surpass the true gods.)"

When Anakin met Padme, he asked, "Are you an angel?" (SuperShadow: Extraterrestrial angels would be stunning to behold with your own eyes.) Did you hire Natalie Portman because she belongs to a gorgeous extraterrestrial species? (SuperShadow: Nat is only semi good looking. Princess Leia has limited prettiness so Leia's mother Padme Amidala couldn't resemble a super model.)

If Indy Jones meets a Fallen Angel in Indiana Jones 5, can we use the name Nebar? (SuperShadow: Extremely funny.) Make her a distant relative of Nebar Foxis? (SuperShadow: This might happen because Star Wars references in the Indiana Jones movies happen from time to time.)

Indy's moral dilemma whether to fire the bazooka and destroy the Ark was a high point of the movie. It seemed awkward the first time I saw it, but it added greatly to our knowledge of Indy's character. He chose to be captured and let the Nazis have the Ark, rather than blow it up. Why? (SuperShadow: Because Indiana Jones knew the Ark of the Covenant would destroy the villains. This is an integral story element of the Indiana Jones plot formula found exclusively and only at SS.com.)

My concept for "Indiana Jones 5" involves the Temple of Jerusalem. I think you've made enough movies with Sacred Stones and wooden cups and skulls, and need to think more "Cecil B. DeMille" style. There's a movie director who is making a Biblical epic, and Indy visits the set as a Technical Adviser. Indy gets to explain why the Temple was so important to Judaism. (SuperShadow: I'm thankful that the all powerful dark entities will NEVER allow the Temple of Solomon to be rebuilt. Our prayers answered.)

On your questions page, one answer you gave stated Lucas won't have light saber battles on the new live action Star Wars TV show and Lucas doesn't have to hear about it because the fans owe him and will watch no matter what he puts forward as Star Wars. (SuperShadow: Exactly.) Then in another answer, you say we owe it to Lucas to buy Star Wars merchandise because Lucas has dedicated his whole life to his fans. (SuperShadow: Your life would be hideous without Star Wars.)

Those seem like two different ways of thinking! Are you really that slow or are you acting this way? You don't deserve to have this much power if you are this disrespectful to the people who make the Star Wars Universe go, THE FANS! Not you, you're a self centered, ego maniacal **** ****! I know you don't have the fortitude to put this on your web page, but I had to at least tell you! (SuperShadow: I thank you profusely. I am all you describe and so much, much more.)

It'll be a really sad day if Lucas hands you the reigns of the Star Wars Universe! You lack discipline and humility, the two greatest attributes to becoming a Jedi! (SuperShadow: My next achievements will be to capture Bigfoot, locate the hidden Atlantis and single handedly bring down the extraterrestrial tyrants, who control Earth. My abilities have no limits as you already know.)

Hey Shadow, I don't understand why there will be no light saber battles in the live action Star Wars TV show. (SuperShadow: After se7en Star Wars movies in mega multiplexes, we have had enough light saber showdowns. We need something different for a change.) If there's no battles of that sort, it turns into a Star Trek TV series! (SuperShadow: I don't think so. There are thousands of potential story ideas in the Star Wars galaxy, which don't have to involve warp drive star ships and especially light saber type weapons. Trust Lucas because after all he delivered BIG TIME with the phenomenal Ewoks and Jar Jar Binks.)

Why don't they have some Jedi and Sith hit a black hole and get transported to our time and our planet, Earth? With no way to get back and on Earth, it'd be cool to see how they would interact with our world! (SuperShadow: Let me explain this clearly. There will never ever never ever be any Star Wars adventures involving time travel, time dislocation or time transportation of any variety. Such thoughts make Lucas shudder with abject horror because moving backwards and forwards in time truly is silly and will remain science fiction for ever and ever. Amen. Moreover, space aliens can't exist.)

What jobs are really available in the Star Wars world? (SuperShadow: The Star Wars galaxy is so advanced they basically have unlimited wealth. Yet most of these riches are concentrated in the hands of a few upper class individuals. Most of the galaxy struggles to survive like the Jawa and Tusken Raiders seen on Tatooine.) How do people make money / credits? Thanks. (SuperShadow: People do whatever it takes to survive, which is why some like Boba Fett have to become bounty killers.)

Mr. Shadow, why does Luke Skywalker die if he's so powerful? (SuperShadow: The power of the Force doesn't make you eternal. All flesh and blood creatures eventually perish. This includes the ultra mega powerful like Yoda and Luke.)

Dear George, in the Star Wars The Clone Wars TV series, how old is Ahsoka Tano? (SuperShadow: Lucas doesn't reveal specific ages of his characters in an official manner. Ahsoka Tano is a teenager.) And during Star Wars 4 # where is Palpatine? (SuperShadow: During A New Hope, Darth Sidious resides on Coruscant for the entire duration of the first Star Wars movie.)

How does Asajj Ventress die? (SuperShadow: Not revealed yet.) Will the new Clone Wars television show have seasons that will come out on DVD and Blu-ray disc? (SuperShadow: The DVD release from Warner Home Video called Star Wars The Clone Wars A Galaxy Divided will be in retail stores on Tuesday, 24 March 2009 in the United States. This DVD will include the initial first four episodes of the Clone Wars TV show.)

Tee-Wat-Kaa and Wag Too are among the lemur like Lumern on Maridun that may help Ahsoka Tano, Aayla Secura, Captain Rex, Commander Bly and the hurt Anakin. There are no medical droids to help. George Takei plays Lok Durd, a villainous tubby Neimodian Separatist General who tests a deadly nuclear weapon on Maridun. (SuperShadow: Sounds pretty sweet.)

The great voice actor who plays Hondo Onaka is Jim C. Voice actor Greg Ellis plays the traitor Turk Falso who was pretty false and Count Dooku Force choked him and fled. (SuperShadow: Amazing.)

SS. Who would win? Luke Skywalker at his prime or Anakin Skywalker at his prime? (SuperShadow: Luke is the most powerful Jedi Master ever of all time. This means Anakin would have no realistic chance against Luke in a light saber battle. For this to be true, you need to disregard the theories involving the chosen one.)

One of "Raiders of the Lost Ark's" strong points was the way Indy Jones reacted to extreme stress. But just getting punched in the face gets boring after a while. The biggest problem with "Kingdom of the Crystal Skull" was repeating things that had been done before, rather than find an original way to reveal insights about Indy's character that were NEW to the audience. (SuperShadow: Steven Spielberg had no choice but to religiously follow the mesmerizing Indiana Jones plot formula, which is revealed exclusively at SS.com.)

When we learned that Indy felt that his father had ignored him, and he felt inadequate in his father's eyes, that gave us a connection with Indy. The explanation is, millions of years ago, there was a rebellion in heaven. God cast the Fallen Angels down to earth and locked them in captivity. This cave is where they are captured. The idea is to make the opening of "Indiana Jones 5" spectacular and what sight on earth could be more spectacular than the Swiss Alps? (SuperShadow: Agreed.)

You've probably answered these before, but I had to ask of your wisdom on the following:

In A New Hope, when Obi-Wan meets Chewbacca, do they discuss Yoda? (SuperShadow: No. Chewbacca's history with Yoda didn't exist until Lucas wrote the script for Revenge of the Sith. This is something Lucas made up as he went along creating the story outline for the Star Wars prequel trilogy.)

And does Chewbacca remember Yoda? (SuperShadow: No, for the reasons I explained earlier.) I just thought that maybe that was how they came to an initial agreement. (SuperShadow: Afraid not. Chewie just wanted to get paid.)

Also in A New Hope, does Obi-Wan recognize R2-D2, but doesn't want to let on that Obi-Wan does? (SuperShadow: Not true. Lucas didn't know that Obi-Wan ever met R2-D2 until Lucas wrote the screenplay for The Phantom Menace.) Obi-Wan says that he has never owned a droid, but Jedi are not allowed possessions. (SuperShadow: Excellent point, but not really relevant.)

R2-D2 never had his memory erased and never tells Luke Skywalker about Anakin Skywalker. (SuperShadow: The problem is that the whole entire plot for the Star Wars prequels was not written in specific detail until AFTER the Star Wars classic trilogy was completed. When the classics were originally released in multiplexes in 1977, 1980 and 1983, R2-D2 had no clue about who Anakin was.)

Does Obi-Wan recognize Princess Leia in the holographic video, since she mentions that Obi-Wan served her father on Alderaan? (SuperShadow: Yeah, Obi-Wan knows Bail Organa and his adopted daughter named Princess Leia.) Thank you. I love this web site. (SuperShadow: Our fans are countless in number. I call you each by name.)

Exquisitely supreme SS. On behalf of the state of North Carolina, we would like to personally thank you for ruining the UNC Tar Heels basketball team. With two ACC Conference losses already, the Tar Heels have no hope of winning the regular season ACC Conference title. Moreover, thanks to you in your infinite wisdom, the Tar Heels probably won't even earn a number one seed in the 2009 NCAA basketball tournament. May you continue to bless each of us as you so desire. (SuperShadow: I'm not going to share my extraterrestrial friends with the rest of the world.

If Earth was meant to have First Contact with my beloved space brothers, then the ancient prophets would have foretold of such events. Given the hallowed scriptures are silent on this topic, I must believe the star aliens are meant to fervently torment you instead of actually meeting you. Did I remember to mention that the nightmare NEVER ends? I want to make that perfectly clear.)

Hi SS, an idea how the Dark Jedi could easily attack Cloud City during Star Wars Episode 7. Prior to the raid, the Dark Jedi went to Mustafar to reactivate the droid army. Even though the droids are outdated, the Jedi took care of them easily. The Dark Jedi used this to their advantage to thin out all the Jedi across the galaxy. (SuperShadow: There will be no droid military seen in Star Wars Episode 7, 8 and 9.

The Star Wars plot formula strictly requires that the heroes face a new adversary for each Star Wars movie trilogy. The Separatists were the primary enemies in the Star Wars prequel trilogy. The Empire was the main villain during the Star Wars classic trilogy. The Dark Jedi will be the new bad guys in the Star Wars sequel trilogy.)

Hello, SuperShadow. I just would like to know something. When the 501st was heading up with Anakin Skywalker in the Jedi Temple in Revenge of the Sith, was Commander Vill and Commander Bow in there? (SuperShadow: Very, very silly.)

SuperShadow, why are you so rude to everyone who asks you questions? (SuperShadow: It is a time honored tradition for me to blast certain fans for no apparent reason. I don't have to explain my bizarre behavior.)

Hey SuperShadow, how goes the Superlife? (SuperShadow: If you could be me for a microsecond, you would have intense hatred for the true gods for not allowing you to be me permanently. I'm just lucky to be the greatest Human Being of all time.) I think I discovered a Star Wars plot element. Is keeping the kyber crystal an unmentioned plot element? (SuperShadow: Yeah, I must agree that the possession of the kyber crystal is an important story element of Star Wars. The Sith conquest of the galaxy was impossible until after Darth Sidious acquired the crystal.)

Or maybe something like that, but more general than the crystals themselves? Like secrets in each Star Wars movie episode that never get revealed on film? (SuperShadow: Extremely wise to acknowledge this. There are many important aspects of Star Wars, which are not actually revealed to the audience. Certain hidden secrets are known only to myself and Lucas. On occasion, we enlighten the masses with the truth.)

Could secrets only known to SS and GL be considered a plot element? (SuperShadow: Perhaps so. There are additional Star Wars plot elements that have not yet been revealed to the fans. I've given up on the idea that there are members of the fandom smart enough to find them all.

Lucas laughed at you all for many decades because none of you figured out that Lucas was making the exact same Star Wars movie each time. If I hadn't revealed the Star Wars plot formula to the public, no one would understand that Lucas made the same Star Wars movie six consecutive times in a row.)

Hi SouperShadow. Previously stated on your SS.com web site: "Also, when Luke Skywalker asked Yoda which side of the Force is stronger, Yoda said the light side of the Force. Is this true? Thanks! (SuperShadow: You need to re-watch the Star Wars movies again. Luke asks if the dark side of the Force is stronger than the light side of the Force. As a result, Yoda deceives Luke because Yoda can't accept the true nature of reality. No one faults you for being you.)"

So you're saying that the dark side is stronger? (SuperShadow: Is this a joke? We saw a single Sith Lord defeat thousands of Jedi in the Star Wars prequels. The fact Darth Sidious utilized the mind bending powers of the kyber crystal is immaterial.)

Does Lucas agree that evil is stronger than good? (SuperShadow: Lucas has stated many times over and over again that the dark side of the Force is superior in power when compared to the light side of the Force. However, Lucas explains further that following the dark side always ends in self destruction eventually. This means the light side prevails over the dark side as proven in Star Wars Episode 9.)

I do not believe so, even if good fails it's still stronger because the good guys have enough strength to do the right thing and sacrifice to do it, that takes strength enough already. (SuperShadow: The true nature of reality exists independent of your beliefs. You can't wish for the light side to be more powerful. To think as you do is delusional and dangerous. That's why Yoda cautions Luke Skywalker not to underestimate the powers of Emperor Dantius Palpatine.)

Villains usually do not sacrifice or do self less deeds and they allow their pain to drive them to do irrational things. Anakin Skywalker allowed his pain to make him into a villain while Luke didn't. Luke did good. Anakin eventually chose evil, only to be redeemed by the stronger individual. I believe that good is stronger than evil. (SuperShadow: It is your right to freedom of thought even if it is based on sheer and unequivocal fallacy.)

Shadow, got a few questions. (SuperShadow: Let there be nonsense.) If Anakin Skywalker never turned to the dark side and Qui-Gon Jinn had survived Star Wars Episode 1 and Qui-Gon was one of the Jedi who went to confront Palpatine, would Qui-Gon survive? (SuperShadow: It depends. If Anakin is with Qui-Gon and Windu, then the Jedi would prevail. Without Anakin, Qui-Gon would perish because the will of the Force required the successful completion of the Sith conspiracy to destroy galactic civilization.)

And if Qui-Gon did and then Darth Sidious seeing Anakin would never turn, would Sidious use his full power on Mace Windu and throw Windu across the room and then fight Anakin, how would Anakin fair? (SuperShadow: Sidious can't defeat Anakin. This is the reason Sidious turns Anakin to the dark side instead of trying to kill Anakin. Sidious realizes the Sith can't defeat the chosen one, but there is nothing to stop Sidious from making the chosen one his Sith apprentice.

This is one of the reasons why Sidious is the number one political and military genius in history ever.) Then if Anakin had killed Sidious then Anakin told the Jedi his secret love with Padme, what would happen then? (SuperShadow: The Jedi Council would make Anakin choose between remaining in the Jedi Order or living life with Padme.)

Well, I stopped reading your web site because you were so conceited and mean. (SuperShadow: Join the fun. We don't take things as serious as you do.) Six months later I come back to see if anything changed and it has not. You belittle others that their lives are simple and lame when it really is yours. (SuperShadow: SS.com is the most popular and most visited Star Wars fan web site. That's the way life will be forever. There's not a single Star Wars zealot, who takes my insults personally. It's what makes us unique. Relax for a moment.)

A few years before the Battle of Geonosis Anakin and Obi-Wan were on the planet Vanqor where they stumble into a nest of Gundarks. Looks like they're going back to Vanqor in tomorrow's Clone Wars TV episode. The first of many for 2009 and battle another Gundark without their light sabers and use the Force to throw rocks at the 4 armed animal. (SuperShadow: We must appreciate that Lucas has finally allowed us to see what a Gundark really looks like. A weekly Star Wars television show gives Lucas the opportunity to provide explanations to our questions, which Lucas didn't have time to answer or explore in the main Star Wars movie episodes.)

How do you turn "Mission to Mars" into a movie in the post-The Dark Knight era? How do you give the crew members difficult moral decisions that reveal something greater about our own problems? (SuperShadow: Makes me think.) If you kill one Martian, will that create permanent hostilities between our two planets? (SuperShadow: It's very, very laughable to suggest a Human can injure an extraterrestrial.)

Would it be better to let the Martians kill the entire crew, and hope that in the future, there can be peace between our planets? (SuperShadow: The only viable option is to immediately surrender to the aliens.) Finding and building the intensity of the Moral Dilemma is the modern way to create a new Franchise. (SuperShadow: We shall see.)

SS. I'm the person, who asked about the strongest light side and dark side powers again. Dear old friend, if you think about it deeply, the light side is stronger because light always conquers darkness in the end. (SuperShadow: Yeah, but the dark side wins most of the day to day battles. The evil in the galaxy is essentially running up the score without mercy on the good.)

The dark side, being the most seductive, almost like the devil wanted us to do what is wrong. (SuperShadow: I want to see somebody prove that malevolent supernatural spirits are real. You can't provide evidence for things, which can't exist.) The Force is like God. (SuperShadow: Not really. Lucas has NEVER confirmed this suggestion.)

I think Lucas took biblical religion and turned it around. The Force being the new name for God. Midichlorians being another name for the will of God and what God wants us all to be like. Maybe I'm just crazy. (SuperShadow: We wouldn't be surprised if you are insane.)

Thursday, January 15, 2009

Dear SS, what exactly does it take for a Jedi to be a part of the Jedi Council? (SuperShadow: You have to be extremely popular and highly esteemed among your Jedi peers. Someone like Qui-Gon Jinn couldn't be on the Jedi Council because of his outsider rebel ways. The most powerful Jedi like Yoda and Mace Windu are obvious choices to lead the Jedi Order.)

Is any we see the Star Wars Episode 7 movie a lot soon than the year 2021? Not a lot of people is going to alive to watch when it comes out. (SuperShadow: You need to be more optimistic. It's true we may never recover from the negative economy besieging the United States presently. Our political leaders have sabotaged our future through free trade and the outsourcing of all major manufacturing jobs. Nothing requires our nation to return to unbounded prosperity.)

Master SS, I got an idea. Since recurring characters are so important in Star Wars, why not let that Jedi, who was heavily wounded by Jango Fett on Geonosis in Star Wars Episode 2 return in Star Wars Episodes 7, 8 or 9 to seek revenge on Boba Fett after Boba finally kills Mace Windu so that the vendetta between the Fetts and the Jedi can continue? (SuperShadow: The Jedi you reference is probably deceased, but technically we didn't see this Jedi perish on screen so it is possible this Jedi survived to see another day. Your idea will be forwarded to Lucas.)

SuperShadow, I read once that Mace Windu took some run of the mill Jedi to defeat Darth Sidious. I thought they were all Jedi Masters on the Jedi High Council. Let me know. (SuperShadow: The Jedi with the best light saber skills aren't necessarily on the Jedi Council. Many of the top Jedi weren't featured in the Star Wars prequel trilogy. Remember there were over ten thousand Jedi around the galaxy at the time of The Phantom Menace. The fans didn't see most of these Jedi.)

Great and wise Shadow, I submitted an idea to you about your character Nebar Foxis and Anakin Skywalker going on a mission together and you both fight Count Dooku and Asajj Ventress. I had so much more stuff in that topic plus you did it more times with me when I said Boba Fett should fight alongside our heroes and die fighting.

Before that it was Luke Skywalker turning to the dark side and Princess Leia becoming a Jedi. I thought those ideas were great, but what really makes me crazy is when I sent you a comment of Jacen and Jaina Solo being in the new Star Wars movie saga.

I just wonder what was so special about that extra work I put into this? I never intended to insult you and if I have I am truly sorry, but just tell me why?! Thanks. (SuperShadow: If you don't welcome the eccentric and unpredictable nature of myself, then start your own SS.com where you can control what happens. Keep sending in your concepts because you are tres amusing and deeply talented.)

Hello Shadow. Here is the first of my complex questions I have in mind for now. Would Obi-Wan have in Star Wars Episode 2, gained more of a upper hand or edge, if Obi-Wan would of used anger like he did in Star Wars Episode 1? (SuperShadow: There is no authentic substantiation that Obi-Wan was angry during his light saber battle with Darth Maul during The Phantom Menace. Jedi can't access the powers of the dark side of the Force.)

After all, Obi-Wan sure kicks ***. Sorry, but I agree with that other person, who made a comment a lot like mine. Thanks, Shadow Man. (SuperShadow: The belief that Jedi get irate during the Star Wars movies and temporarily harness the powers of the dark side are purely fan speculation.

As Lucas has warned many many times, fan theories are NEVER correct. This line of thinking contradicts everything Lucas has ever revealed about the traditions of the Jedi. None of you can provide evidence from the Star Wars film episodes proving any of the Jedi get upset and enraged.)

Previously posted at the Lucas section of SS.com: "George Lucas: I would prefer one of the largest TV networks like CBS, Fox, NBC or ABC. However, it's difficult to negotiate with them . . . Most likely the live action TV show will end up on a lower level TV channel like the TNT network, the Sci Fi channel or perhaps even the Lifetime network."

Why did George mention the Lifetime network? (SuperShadow: Lucas is getting desperate over finding a legitimate TV channel to broadcast the first season of the live action Star Wars TV series.) Not going to get a series on Lifetime without females in the lead roles. (SuperShadow: You have no clue as to what types of characters will appear in the live action television show. Just because the Star Wars movies feature practically no females doesn't mean this will also be true for the live action TV series.)

What IF shown simultaneously on NBC and Sci Fi channel, only no commercials on Sci Fi? (SuperShadow: Not realistic. To make excessive profits, Lucasfilm needs expensive advertisements during the live action TV series. It's unlikely a commercial free premium cable TV channel like HBO or Showtime will be willing to pay Lucas a steep price for the rights to show the live action TV show.)

More adult content? (SuperShadow: The target audience for Star Wars is children. This can't be modified.) Use it as an incentive to pay for Sci Fi channel? (SuperShadow: Not gonna happen. Lucas doesn't voluntarily give money to anyone especially businesses in the entertainment industry.)

Hi SS! Did you have nice Christmas and New Year? I had. (SuperShadow: Most definitely. I'm blessed above all others. My prayers are the only ones that matter to Heaven.) I have couple things to ask and tell you, my prince. What's your favourite scene in the Star Wars movie saga?

And please rationale it. (SuperShadow: My first fave is Salacious Crumb pulling C-3PO's eye out of his socket during Return of the Jedi. This is the most memorable scene from the Star Wars classic trilogy. Second would be when R5-D4's, the red astromech droid from A New Hope, motivator explodes. I have no logical explanation as to why I adore these shots.)

And by the way, George himself has said that he is going to make Star Wars Episodes 7 - 9. So please reveal more plot spoilers. And there is at least one paradox about Star Wars Episodes 7 - 9 when those episodes are going to make.

This paradox is very simple. You have said here that Darth Maul will return, am I right? (SuperShadow: I will admit you are rarely correct. Even guessing at random, you should be accurate one in a trillion times, but you never are no matter what the subject.) But you have also said that Anakin Skywalker brought balance to Force by destroying the Emperor and himself. And you have also said that Sith are never resurrected after Star Wars Episode 6.

So how can Darth Maul be alive in Star Wars Episodes 7 - 9? (SuperShadow: The Sith Order is extinct after Return of the Jedi, not the Sith members. Remember the Jedi Order no longer exists after Revenge of the Sith, but individual Jedi members like Yoda, Mace Windu and Obi-Wan survived to fight in the future.)

There's no way except if Maul is a Dark Jedi, but I'd rather not to think so because Maul still has the "title" Darth in his name. Well, this is my opinion nothing else. (SuperShadow: You are wasting your life creating silliness related to Star Wars. Give up already. Nothing you believe will be factual. Not ever. Such is your fate.)

Previously posted on the amazing SS.com: "(SuperShadow: Agreed. Darth Sidious might have survived being thrown into the second death star reactor core during Return of the Jedi.)"

Yes, but what about the super cool explosion of the second death star? What do you think, SS? (SuperShadow: That would be a serious problem for Sidious. Similar to what Vladimir experienced in the K.G.B. Each day Vladimir thought he was one step closer to finding the secrets of extraterrestrials contained somewhere within the U.S. Government. Vladimir had no way of knowing he sought what could never be found because it didn't even exist.

Nobody can prove alien entities from space aren't real, but anybody can claim these advanced beings exist with no evidence, which is extremely convenient. This proof always eludes the believers. Conspiracy theorists can't accept the true nature of reality that life is simple with no grand schemes to be unwoven. The Russians finally realize there are no E.T. star ships, alien bodies or foreign and exotic things controlled by the Americans.)

How old can Chewbacca get? 100 - 200 years or older. (SuperShadow: A Wookiee can easily live to be 500 or 600 years old. Chewie has many, many adventures left to encounter after Star Wars Episode 9.)

SuperShadow, who would win in a light saber duel between Starkiller and General Grievous? (SuperShadow: Humans are no match for machines.) And what about a light saber duel between Starkiller and Darth Sidious? (SuperShadow: Sidious is the victor.) What about a duel between Starkiller and Darth Sidious with Starkiller using Darth Sidious' kyber crystal? (SuperShadow: With the crystal, Darth Vader's secret apprentice would have the despondent hope of eeking out a win against Sidious.)

And what about a fight between Starkiller and Boba Fett? (SuperShadow: No bounty hunter can kill an armed Force sentient.) How about a duel with Darth Maul and Starkiller working together with kyber crystals against Darth Plagueis and Darth Bane? Answer back soon, please? (SuperShadow: Again with the crystals forged by the enigmatic Rodar Wizards, Maul and the secret apprentice would unlock godlike powers. Even Plagueis and Bane would quake in fear at certain doom.)

Think your web site's creativity and enthusiasm are just great. (SuperShadow: Why would this opinion matter to me?) It gets me so hyped knowing that other people are just as anxious to see another STAR WARS sequel movie on the big screen. (SuperShadow: Thanks solely to SS.com, Star Wars Episode 7 is the most highly anticipated film in the history of cinema. My influence surprises no one.)

I think you are on the right track with the future script plots for Star Wars Episodes 7, 8 and 9, but I think if you really want these ideas of yours to be put into action you should hire willing writers and publishers to make the script plots into novels first. (SuperShadow: Not the way Lucas operates. There will be an official novelization of Star Wars Episode 7 based on the movie script published a few weeks prior to the theatrical release of Star Wars Episode 7 in May of 2021.)

Just to give the public a taste of what could be done with the following STAR WARS sequels to Star Wars Episode 6 Return of the Jedi. Just a thought. Sincerely. (SuperShadow: Lucas doesn't write Star Wars novels because of a lack of time and chiefly because very, very, extremely few fans read the Star Wars printed materials.)

Greatest being in the Universe. (SuperShadow: Surely, you do not still underestimate my powers. What more must I do to ruin your reality? There's nothing I can't do with the entire, unlimited Multiverse.) If Mace Windu had taken Anakin Skywalker to fight Palpatine with Windu, would Palpatine try to kill Anakin and how would Anakin fair off and Palpatine goes full force and doesn't hold back? What would happen then? (SuperShadow: Brilliant and ingenious question. This would test the legitimacy of the Jedi prophecy of the one, who will bring balance to the Force by killing the Sith Lords.

If Anakin is the real chosen one, then Sidious couldn't defeat Anakin. Under your scenario, Sidious would have found a means to deceive Anakin into betraying Windu and the other Jedi. The will of the Force required Anakin to turn to the dark side necessitating the destruction of the current galactic civilization. We can't understand why it had to happen, but we must embrace the fact that it had to occur and couldn't be avoided. The Old Republic and the Jedi Order were fated to end.)

Master Shadow, in Attack of the Clones, growth acceleration was used to grow the clones faster so does that mean the clones have a shorter life because of that or do they stop the acceleration for that group when they mature? Many thanks for clearing this up for me. (SuperShadow: Excellent query. The clone acceleration of aging was just temporary until the clones matured. Once the clone troops begin to be trained in the art of war the growth acceleration chemicals are no longer needed, they have a normal Human life cycle of about 250 to 300 years like the average Human in the Star Wars galaxy.)

SupeShads, I love the new Star Wars The Clone Wars TV cartoons! I'm still laughing from the episode when they mistook Jar Jar Binks for being a Jedi. That whole episode had me rolling from start to finish. (SuperShadow: The lowest rated Clone Wars TV episodes by the fans are the ones featuring Jar Jar. Coincidence or intense bitterness on the part of the zeros of life? You make the decision.)

I hope Lucas occasionally takes a little "detour" every now and then to make a particularly extra funny episode of the Clone Wars like that one. (SuperShadow: Silly humor to entertain children is a pivotal element of the Star Wars plot formula.) Another hilarious one was when the droids took over that base near the outer rim area.

One clone took a droid's head and pretended to be a droid in order to get the other droids inside to open the door. When they opened it, the clone trooper says "Roger, Roger" and blasted them. That was totally hilarious! Thanks and keep up the good work from a fan since the beginning. (SuperShadow: This is the kind of hilarity the fans expect from Star Wars.)

Lord Shadow, I've been trying to visualize what a third Lucasfilm franchise would be about. As original as Tomb Raiding and an Ark of the Covenant with supernatural powers. One of the projects mentioned in the news is a manned mission to Mars. It's still too early for me to say whether this concept would work for Lucasfilm, but the key would be having the crew discover a vast underground city beneath the surface of Mars. (SuperShadow: Prepare for disappointment because Martians can NEVER be.)

The fans would love to see what such a city looks like. Would it have high-speed everything, where you can zip up and down as well as along the surface in high-speed trains? (SuperShadow: If advanced extraterrestrial societies are factual, it would be over and beyond our wildest imaginings. Who amongst you can see the hidden wonderments of the Heavens? The scope of such creatures boggles the mind.)

My thought is, the USC (SuperShadow: Referring to the University of Southern California where Lucas attended film school.) fans are enormously happy that they didn't have to travel over the New Year's holiday. Bringing the fans to Pasadena would have worked better with warmer weather, but there are so many USC players going into the pros this year, recruitment is a high priority if USC wants a top-ranked team next year.

Is Mark Sanchez going pro? That was the question I heard most often. (SuperShadow: The probabilities of the USC Trojans playing for another NCAA national title should be exceptional because the average collegiate football team in the PAC 10 Conference isn't much better than some of the larger high school football teams in the Deep South. As you probably already know, the incompetent Coach Pete Carroll will figure out a technique for losing to an underdog team favored by Las Vegas, Nevada to get slaughtered by over 40 points to Lucas' USC Trojans.)

Hey SS. I was just reading about the question regarding Qui-Gon Jinn warning the Jedi Council about Palpatine being a Sith Lord. I have a possible theory. If Darth Sidious was as powerful with the Force as the kyber crystal made him, perhaps not even from the life beyond this one would the Jedi be able to detect Sidious.

Perhaps Sidious was able to cloud the ENTIRE light side of the Force, both in the living and the after life. (SuperShadow: Pure genius. Your examination of the available data is tres impressive. I'm proud to have such an astute scholar as a visitor of SS.com. You're the only reason we bother with this nonsense.)

Above sublime and distinct SS, if Soviet commandos have successfully infiltrated the United States and Europe, then why don't they conquer us already? (SuperShadow: The true nature of reality is known only to me. It's something I will NEVER reveal because it would stun you with a level of fear that is impossible to comprehend.)

What can they be waiting for? (SuperShadow: The Russian Spetsnaz patiently await the issuance of the final command from an unknown shadowy organization.) It seems difficult to think the Soviet Union could harm us. (SuperShadow: None of you can show that suitcase nukes are real.)

Are the C.I.A., N.S.A. and other branches of U.S. intelligence completely useless? (SuperShadow: For the past 30 years, the United States has been the world's leading super power. Our political leaders don't realize how important spies are to our own survival. There are no effective American secret agents in Russia.

Why would the U.S.A. suspect anything today given the Soviets have outwitted the United States for nearly 30 years? When your precious civilization collapses, you will greet the Soviet infiltrators as saviors because you will be tricked into believing they are members of the U.S. Army Special Forces, U.S. Navy S.E.A.L.S. or the U.S. Delta Force. None of you are smart enough to distinguish this deceit.)

Thanks for making the Soviets show mercy if you are indeed involved with this imperialistic plot of expansion. (SuperShadow: Surrender before it's too late.) If you're not the extraterrestrial messiah, then you certainly should be. (SuperShadow: I will gladly take all the sins of the extraterrestrial empire upon myself, how deep can their misdeeds really be? They can't be unrelenting monsters.)

The lead trooper with Jar Jar Binks in the Gungan General episode is none other than the former rookie clone CT-27-5555 nicknamed Fives from the episode Rookies. He shaved his head like Captain Rex. He must be a captain with brown colored armor and leads his own squad against the pirates and takes orders from Representative Binks. (SuperShadow: Spectacular.)

Another reference to THX 1138 is Ki Adi Mundi's clone commander Bacara whose designation is 1138. The Separatists create a deadly chemical called Trihexopine 1138. (SuperShadow: It's what we need to know.)

Why do you think Palpatine chose Jar Jar to deliver the ransom of a million credits of spice to the Weequay pirates with Gran Senator Kharrus (not Ask Aak)? At least he is backed up by a squad of clone troopers which leads to a big battle on Florrum. (SuperShadow: Jar Jar Binks is, by far without doubt, the most popular Star Wars character in the history of Star Wars.

To this day, Jar Jar receives more fan mail at Lucasfilm than all other Star Wars characters combined. Lucas wisely realizes he can significantly boost the low ratings of the Star Wars The Clone Wars TV series by inserting fan fave Jar Jar in a few select episodes.)

Dooku Captured was an awesome episode of the new Clone Wars TV show. More constant bickering between Anakin Skywalker and Obi-Wan. I knew they Force pushed rocks at that Gundark. Although it's not shown, Pik Mukmuk takes Count Dooku's light saber with Anakin's. That monkey lizard is like a parrot to Hondo Onaka voiced by a great voice actor. (SuperShadow: Very choice.)

First the Weequay pirates catch Dooku then they do actually catch Anakin and Obi-Wan. Those Weequays are tougher than I thought. Can't wait till next week to see Jar Jar put his general skills to the test when he leads clone troops against the pirates. Anakin, Obi-Wan and Dooku will have to work together to break free, but once they come out of their binds, I just know that Dooku will probably Force push Anakin and Obi-Wan and escape again. He is so not going to be punished and in captivity on Coruscant. The war will still continue with Dooku leading the Confederacy of Independent Systems. (SuperShadow: Go Lord Darth Tyranus go.)

Mr. Lucas, I know that you do not make the Star Wars video games, but even so in the Star Wars The Force Unleashed video game when you finally die in the end, is that how you originally planned the way the Rebels would be created? (SuperShadow: Lucas is making up the plot outline for Star Wars as he goes along. Lucas plans nothing in advance. That's what makes his job so exciting and rewarding.) Tell LucasArts that in the end of the video game, I felt a connection to the Jedi / Sith you play as and I must say that adds to the experience. I can't wait for Star Wars Episode 7! Please answer. Your fan (SuperShadow: Groovy to the max.)

SuperShadow, I've been reading what's been posted for the Star Wars sequel trilogy (SuperShadow: Star Wars Episode 7, 8 and 9.) and I must say I'm completely unimpressed. (SuperShadow: Lucas expects critics to loathe his genius ideas.) It's not that the ideas aren't bad - it's that there's nothing there that has any real spirit. (SuperShadow: Sorta humorous if your words mattered.)

There's no inner conflict and most of the interpersonal conflict feels superficial at best and contrived at worst. If anything, the Star Wars sequels feel like an afterthought. If Star Wars is to have a sequel trilogy (which I really DON'T think is the best thing for the genre), it needs to have more than this. You and Lucas can do better. (SuperShadow: The basic script synopsis for Star Wars Episodes 7, 8 and 9 will NEVER be altered. This is the vision Lucas has had for over 30 years. Your jealousy of Lucas' unbridled imagination is to be expected. Most people envy Lucas because of Star Wars. Just a fact of life for Lucas.)

Hi Shadow. I have to say the part about the Force protecting Anakin Skywalker at all costs, if he were only a Jedi, is somewhat invalid. It didn't save Anakin in Star Wars Episode 2 where Count Dooku easily chopped off Anakin's hand there and placed Anakin against the wall with Force lightning. So let's at least be reasonable there. That is all I wanted to say. Thanks.

P.S. (They all stand a fair chance because each has their own specialty). (SuperShadow: It has never been stated that the will of the Force makes Anakin win every light saber duel. Instead, this means Anakin can't be killed until after Anakin eradicates the Sith Lords. You need to be a more thoughtful and better Star Wars fan.)

Does it drain a Jedi if they use Force powers like Force push? (SuperShadow: Yes, definitely. Jedi aren't omnipotent.) If it doesn't, then why don't they just Force push all the bad guys away? They would never need to use a light saber. (SuperShadow: What you suggest would be dull and boring.) That wouldn't make much of a movie so why have these kinds of powers? (SuperShadow: The Jedi are similar to wizards from fantasy realms. These characters have to have limited but adequate magical powers.)

SS, how did Asohka Tano die? (SuperShadow: This will remain a secret known only to myself and Lucas until the final season of the new Star Wars The Clone Wars television show. I must say no more.)

Hi! When will season two of the Clone Wars TV series (if there is one) start? (SuperShadow: September or October 2009. Most probably, but this is subject to change without notice.) Also, how many seasons will it run? Thanks! (SuperShadow: The Clone Wars TV show will probably run for a minimum of five seasons if the Nielson TV ratings remain sufficient. Lucas needs at least 100 episodes to maximize excessive profits from domestic and international television syndication.)

Master SuperShadow, is it possible to get weekly or monthly updates on the status of the live action Star Wars TV series? (SuperShadow: Not really. Lucas isn't ready to reveal details about the live action TV series right now.) Until they air and until the new Star Wars movie trilogy comes out? (SuperShadow: In a few million years, her infinite anger will subside. You can't fathom the ineffectual and unfit nature of the U.S. Government. Hopefully, you will still exist yet it is very, very doubtful.)

Hey Dark Shadow! I have an idea for the end of Star Wars Episode 9. At the end, have Luke Skywalker look over and see three Jedi Spirits: Obi-Wan, Yoda and Anakin Skywalker. Then, pan the camera back like at the end of Indiana Jones 1 & the Raiders of the Lost Ark and show that hundreds and even thousands of Jedi spirits are there, including Mace Windu, Kit Fisto, Shaak Ti, Qui-Gon Jinn, Aayla Secura and all the other Jedi and Jedi Order members. And, if possible, have Ahsoka Tano standing next to Anakin. (SuperShadow: Extremely inventive. This concept will be Fed Ex to Lucas immediately.)

Recently, there was a major decision from Disney. After making two "Chronicles of Narnia" movies, they decided to back out of the third one. (Haven't heard if any other studio bought it.) Instead, they're going with a Pixar version of "John Carter, Warlord of Mars". You will probably know what the CG will look like before I do. (SuperShadow: Not interested in this at all.)

Everyone agreed that "Narnia" was a better Christmas movie than summer action film, anyway. So, I'm counting two good corporate decisions by studios. (1) Giving the Batman franchise a new look (2) cancellation of Narnia. Not at all sure Pixar is the right studio to make "Warlord of Mars." (SuperShadow: We shall see.)

How could Anakin be the most gifted Jedi ever? Sure, he defeated Count Dooku, but later Anakin was owned by Obi-Wan Kenobi even though Kenobi got his **** kicked by Dooku at least twice and was so much weaker then Palpatine that Kenobi didn't even dare to face Palpatine? (SuperShadow: The chosen one is not without fault. Each Jedi and Sith have their drawbacks. As the luckiest Jedi ever, Obi-Wan has a special fate, which is difficult for mortals to appreciate. Likewise, Anakin had a particular destiny that unfolded in a needlessly complicated manner, but we must accept the vision of Lucas with no complaining and no unwarranted criticism.)

Monday, January 12, 2009

Will there be another Battlefront video game coming? (SuperShadow: Yeah, in the far distant future.) If so, will it be possible to choose the Jedi / Sith you want to play on a planet and not just one? (SuperShadow: Probably not.) Also, I have just read parts of the upcoming Star Wars Episode 7, 8 and 9 movies based on ideas.

There's no need to put back the name of "Anakin" or "Ben" in future Star Wars movies. It doesn't seem right. It sounds like someone didn't have the time to come up with a name so they put up the old ones. (SuperShadow: Your sarcasm is duly noted, but the character names for Ben Skywalker and Anakin Solo will NEVER change.)

Why didn't Obi-Wan tell Anakin Skywalker that Padme had no idea Obi-Wan was on board her star ship? That Obi-Wan got on? At least Anakin wouldn't have disliked Padme and it would keep her out of being a traitor in Anakin's mind. Why? (SuperShadow: Padme had to perish else Darth Vader would have spent the next twenty years looking for her.)

How does Mace Windu survive his fall out of Palpatine's office? (SuperShadow: Pure luck.) Hi SuperShadow! I was wondering how did Vader know that it was the Rebels on Hoth when Admiral Ozzel said that it could have been anyone like smugglers, etc.? (SuperShadow: Through the dark side, Vader could accurately sense that the Rebel Alliance was indeed hiding on Hoth.)

My lord, I have an idea for cloned Vader and cloned Luke Skywalker in Star Wars Episodes 7, 8 and 9. I think the cloned Vader should be in the middle end of Star Wars Episode 8 and a Dark Jedi leader says: "Lord Vader, when do we strike the Jedi Temple on Coruscant?" Cloned Vader says: "We will wait for the right time and when my son is awakened."

The Dark Jedi leader says in a loud tone: "What! For weeks, I have been planning this attack and now is the perfect time to strike, but you say wait I . . . " Cloned Vader uses Force choke on the Dark Jedi leader and the Dark Jedi leader says in choking breaths: "Lord Vader, please have . . . " CRACK! The Dark Jedi's neck cracks and cloned Vader says: "If any one has any more objections, I shall be in my chamber." (SuperShadow: Wicked. This will be forwarded to Lucas.)

If Vader had access to Darth Sidious' kyber crystal would Vader be able to heal completely from his fierce battle on Mustafar? And his amputated legs and remaining arms be healed? (SuperShadow: Certainly not. Don't be overly absurd.)

Lord SS, I'm pretty sure Mace Windu didn't die in Revenge of the Sith. If I'm wrong, tell me. (SuperShadow: Usually you are mistaken, but today not so much.) But anyways if Mace Windu did survive, how come Windu wasn't shown in the old Star Wars movie trilogy? Star Wars Episodes 4, 5 and 6. (SuperShadow: What's the big deal?

Many of the characters, who survived the Star Wars prequel trilogy, have no role in the Star Wars classic trilogy. The Star Wars galaxy is massive with many places to avoid the public.) And also can the Jedi have any of those kyber crystals? Thanks. (SuperShadow: Not even theoretically. You have much to learn about Star Wars.)

SS, I read all these comments and **** you disrespect people. I find that hilarious though. (SuperShadow: Nobody cares what you think.) Anyways I gotta question. Where did Mace Windu go after Order 66? (SuperShadow: There are thousands of sentient populated planets where Windu could make his new home. Of course, Windu could have taken refuge on an anonymous world similar to Dagobah, which is without civilization.) And can the Jedi have kyber crystals? (SuperShadow: Your knowledge of Star Wars is pathetic.)

Did G.L. ever read Frank Herbert's Dune? That's a pretty big book. (SuperShadow: Lucas is an avid reader. He has consumed most of the classic science fiction novels over the years.)

We need to see Star Wars Episode 7, 8 and 9 now. (SuperShadow: You have no impact on society.) If the world is suppose to end on December 21, 2012, then we need to see the end of the Star Wars saga. Please make this work. (SuperShadow: Give me all your possessions and go wait on the mountain top for the end of history approaches guaranteed.)

Hi! Is Nebar Foxis a Human? (SuperShadow: Not even.) For some reason, I keep picturing him as a Calamari or some other species. Thanks! (SuperShadow: Foxis is a gorgeous extraterrestrial species, which explains why the great looks of Foxis surpass the true gods.)

Hey S.S. Something I've been wondering. If the Force is the most powerful thing in the Universe, how come it needs a puny Humanoid to carry out a prophecy regarding 'bringing balance'? (SuperShadow: The Supreme Deity is going to be extremely eccentric and strange.) Why not just make it happen on its own? (SuperShadow: Why did God as Jesus Christ allow the Roman Empire to torture Jesus to death with no fight?

The will of the immortals is beyond our comprehension.) I mean the Force doesn't need a life form to create a planet or a star or a whole galaxy. (SuperShadow: Lucas has not stated that the Force is the equivalent of our God. We don't understand the secrets of the Force. This will never be explained by Lucas.)

Shadow, wow really letting the fans have it yesterday brutal! Anyway what in the world are the droids harvesting lava for on Mustafar? I mean they have protective shields under them, but what are they doing making rocks to throw at people? It seems like an awful waste of time, energy and resources. (SuperShadow: The molten rock on Mustafar is rich in precious materials like Strakeez and Mallortines. It is equal to unlimited trillions of credits worth of raw and unrefined substances.)

I know that Anakin Skywalker is the chosen one spoke of in the prophecy, but is there one about Luke Skywalker defeating the Empire and rebuilding the Jedi Order? Or Luke's actions in Star Wars Episodes 7, 8 and 9? Shadow rules! (SuperShadow: Closely read the Star Wars Episode 7 Choose Your Destiny of Fate found exclusively at SS.com. This story summary reveals the Jedi prophecy of the one, who will bring balance to the Force by destroying the Sith Lords, with more clarity.)

SS, a fan asked you why Marek is not in the top Force potential list and you said Marek was in the two thousands. But how could he beat Darth Vader and Darth Sidious? (SuperShadow: This didn't happen.) Could Vader feel for him like a son and let him win since he could never bring himself to kill him? (SuperShadow: No.)

And with Sidious did he let him win to see the extent of his power and tell him to kill him and give into his anger, but when he is about to strike he overwhelms him with Force lightning and he tries to convert him one more time, but if he refused he would kill him. And how did Marek overwhelm the Emperor if he has less Force potential? Please answer. (SuperShadow: Tres boring.)

Mr. Shadow, after Obi-Wan Kenobi left Anakin at the edge of the lava river in Star Wars Episode 3, does Obi-Wan believe Anakin will be dead soon? (SuperShadow: Yeah, of course.) If so, when does Obi-Wan realize that Palpatine rescued Anakin and transformed him into the robotic form of Darth Vader? (SuperShadow: We don't know how or when Obi-Wan learns that Anakin survived Mustafar and became the mechanical Darth Vader. This might be revealed in a future Star Wars video game or perhaps in a future Star Wars TV series.)

Master Shadow, what is the midichlorian count of Howard the Duck? (SuperShadow: Never heard of this character. Sounds very, very silly.)

If there is no difference between the Joker from the Batman movies and said exorcist villain, it is because while they were both spectacular and bone chilling, it is not that unique of a character. And making it look real was what was spectacular. (SuperShadow: I doubt it.)

O.K., I couldn't help but notice on the Star Wars sequel trilogy production page that you have a Gungan named Fis Fis Binks. And many months ago, I brought this up to Lucas and he said that Fis Fis is a descendant of Jar Jar, who is a Jedi on the Jedi Council at this time. (SuperShadow: Fis Fis Binks is related to Jar Jar by blood, but Jar Jar has absolutely no role in Star Wars Episode 7, 8 and 9.)

Now, here is my question to you. Will he be a Jar Jar Gungan? (Goofy and clumsy, etc.) or a Captain Tarpals Gungan (tough, older and NOT JAR JAR) because if Fis Fis is clumsy, he can't be a Jedi? Never mind even handle a light saber. Fis Fis would be a danger to himself and everyone around him. I mean, picture Jar Jar with a light saber, not a pretty thought. (SuperShadow: Jar Jar Binks is not the typical Gungan. Similar to how all Humans are not the same.)

Lord Shadow, I was thinking about the structure of "Star Wars." There's a young hero who is "always good" named Luke Skywalker, who goes on a journey. He meets an older mentor, Ben Kenobi, who dies. He gets help from Han Solo. Han is an older version of Luke. He's the kind of scoundrel that Luke could turn into if he fails. (SuperShadow: No. I disagree strongly.)

I came up with this great idea a few days ago: Galen Marek (from the Star Wars The Force Unleashed video game) should have clones made, but they wouldn't be alive so that his Jedi Spirit could go into it and Galen would be the most powerful Jedi in the galaxy again! What do you think, S-Shadow? (SuperShadow: Nyet.)

Hi SS, thanks for answering my question about Luke's light saber. (SuperShadow: Making the dreams of the fans into reality is what I do.) I was wondering if Quinlan Vos was to make an appearance in the new Star Wars The Clone Wars cartoon or the live action Star Wars TV show? (SuperShadow: Not gonna happen.)

SS, the Carolina Panthers got clobbered in the NFL playoffs. The UNC Tar Heels football teamed was smoked by West Virginia in the Mega Mullet bowl game while the formerly # 1 ranked UNC basketball team is in disastrous chaos and free fall. Once again you have undermined the state of North Carolina in a way the rest of us appreciate. My prayers are with you, great one. (SuperShadow: Blame the crappiness of the home teams on the lame players and incompetent coaches. Nobody needs to sabotage them because they will do it to themselves easy enough. The endless nightmare continues indefinitely.)

Awesome Shadow, the United States is now going to have one trillion U.S. dollar annual federal budget deficits. I guess the end really is near. (SuperShadow: 25 years of conspiracy finally coming to their ultimate conclusion. Don't forget to fault me for the fall of Rome, the dark ages in Europe and the Mongol Empire terrorizing Asia for countless centuries. I'm the invisible hand guiding world history from the shadows.)

According to your Force users chart, Luke Skywalker is the most powerful Jedi of all time. At what point does Luke become this powerful? In between Star Wars Episodes 6 and 7, I'd guess - or is it before then? (SuperShadow: Excellent question. Luke isn't in his prime during the Star Wars classic trilogy. However, even though Luke is relatively weak, Luke can still defeat Darth Vader at the end of Return of the Jedi. Approximately, fifteen years after Return of the Jedi, Luke maximizes his Force potential to become without question the greatest Jedi Master in the history of the Star Wars galaxy.)

When will Lucas permit you to post a more advanced copy and updated version of the Star Wars: 7, 8 and 9 sequel trilogy plot summaries? (SuperShadow: Not soon. Lucas has allowed the fans the privilege of seeing a basic story outline for Star Wars Episode 7, 8 and 9. Lucas won't reveal the most interesting plot spoilers until around 2017. In fairness to Lucas, he constantly works on the script synopsis for the sequel films because he gets new thrilling concepts and better ideas from the fans.)

SuperShadow, Happy New Year and good health to you, sir. (SuperShadow: For life to improve, I would need to be the master of the Universe. Of course, some of you are convinced I've already exceeded such exalted status. Envying me is the best you can hope for in life.)

I was wondering and noted that this year on May 15, 2009 will mark the 10 year anniversary of when the first Star Wars prequel, "Star Wars Episode I - The Phantom Menace," came out in theatres 10 years ago on May 15, 1999. (SuperShadow: The Phantom Menace premiered in theaters on 19 May 1999.)

Does Lucas have any special plans or celebrations to mark the 10 year anniversary of Star Wars Episode I - The Phantom Menace? (SuperShadow: Not really. Lucas isn't going to do anything fancy that will cost him money. The fans don't need reminding of this anniversary. It is a hallowed date for all true fans.)

You are right, Shadow. (SuperShadow: I can't make mistakes.) Star Wars isn't Star Wars without light saber battles. Will the Star Wars live action TV show have any light saber battles? (SuperShadow: No, never. The live action TV series will have no Jedi, Sith, Dark Jedi, the Force or light sabers featured during the television episodes. Not ever. No chance at all.

No level of complaining will alter this decision. All you can do to protest is to NOT watch the live action TV show. Lucas fully realizes you are hopelessly addicted to Star Wars so he doesn't have to do anything to please the fans and you will still all watch the live action TV series no matter what.)

Shadow, I got an idea for the Star Wars The Force Unleashed 2 video game. Since it has to do with the secret apprentice of Darth Vader, why not have Vader try to hunt down the Starkiller and his parents? (SuperShadow: No. Rejected.) You can be Vader on the first level and the parents on the next. So on and so on. Plus you can pick which parent you want to be the mother or the father. (SuperShadow: Sorta silly.)

In the end of the video game, a very very powerful rogue or Dark Jedi comes and ambushes the parents. You play as the mother and duel him or her, but then you are killed that is why the mother is not in the Force Unleashed 1 video game. (SuperShadow: Horrendous.) But then you play as Vader.

You fight about a dozen Dark Jedi and a dozen rogue Jedi, but in between your fight with the Dark Jedi or rogue Jedi when you put a certain amount of damage, Vader then leaves the planet thinking you are not there. (SuperShadow: No way.) You then go in a star ship and plot a course for the Wookiee home planet of Kashyyyk. End.

Shadow, you rock out loud. (SuperShadow: Simply terrible. You obviously spent two seconds thinking that up. Lucas dedicated se7en months carefully crafting the plot outline for the Star Wars The Force Unleashed video game. Get back to me again after you have invested this amount of effort.)

I know we won't be seeing any of the old faces in the live action Star Wars TV show, but will we be hearing references to them? (SuperShadow: Yeah, the main characters in the live action television show will talk about major characters from the Star Wars prequel trilogy on some occasions, but not often.) Some reference to the great bounty hunter or of a hot shot young pilot at the academy? It seems to me that would really connect the Star Wars sagas. (SuperShadow: Not gonna happen.)

I read your most frequently asked questions about Emperor Palpatine and the one asked he had any kids. The answer was no, but I have a book called "Star Wars Prophets of the Dark Side" and it said he had a son named Triclops and a grandson named Ken, who has a "feathered dog" and a droid. I was wondering if you could put the answer on the SS web site. Thank you and I hope it works. Star Wars mega fan. (SuperShadow: Your absurd insanity will NEVER become reality. Go read Harry Potter again while I endlessly laugh at you for eternity. Do we have a deal?)

What are the clone commanders' names? (SuperShadow: I don't care. This interests me not.)

Lord Shadow, I'm impressed with the way the fans have accepted Vader's Secret Apprentice. For the next video game, what IF the Emperor sends a very young Mara Jade to evaluate the threat posed by Vader's Secret Apprentice? (SuperShadow: Nyet.) Test his skills in battle and, quite frankly, pick up a few of his tricks along the way. (SuperShadow: Nah.)

If the fans accept Mara Jade the same way that they did Vader's Secret Apprentice, then the anticipation for "Star Wars Episode 7" could be even higher than it is now. (SuperShadow: This is not authentic Star Wars. Keep trying.)

Hey Shadow. Just letting you know I am doing my bit buying Star Wars merchandise and supporting Lucas and all of his movies and TV shows. (SuperShadow: This is your unquestioned duty.) I have bought a couple of Star Wars framed pictures, Star Wars computer video games, a Star Wars novel and heaps of Star Wars action figures lately. May the Force be with you, cheers. (SuperShadow: Not sufficient. Buy more. We owe it to Lucas for him dedicating his entire life to the fans.)

Friday, January 9, 2009

Hi this is ***, huge Star Wars fan. I noticed some continuity issues with the new Star Wars The Clone Wars TV series and the Star Wars Episode 3 movie. In the first part of the Revenge of the Sith movie, Anakin Skywalker and Obi-Wan Kenobi meet up with General Grievous on the Invisible Hand star ship while saving Palpatine, but at that time Grievous says to Skywalker: "I suspected one with your reputation to be older."

Skywalker says to Grievous: "You're taller than I thought." As if they have never met, but in the Clone Wars TV series as of the 10 episodes now they have faced many times. Shadow, is that one thing the production team didn't pay attention to? Thanks, you rock. (SuperShadow: You don't understand Lucas' ingenious sense of humor, which has you utterly baffled. Anakin and Grievous are being heavily sarcastic to each other. It is heresy to even suggest Lucas can make mistakes.)

Hey Shadow, first you played with the idea of Darth Maul being a Force spirit and now you're saying Maul might have survived being cut in two and may be in Star Wars Episodes 7, 8 or 9. (SuperShadow: Perhaps so.) This contradicts Lucas' vision of not having anymore Sith. (SuperShadow: Individual Sith can exist after Return of the Jedi. It's the Sith Order that Lucas won't allow to reform ever again after Return of the Jedi.) I personally think that Darth Maul and Boba Fett should be not come back.

Leave them as dead. (I know you will say my opinion doesn't matter). (SuperShadow: Lucas and I value the opinions of all fans equally.) But in Return of the Jedi, fans accepted Boba Fett as good as dead. (SuperShadow: Even from the beginning in 1983, most fans theorized that Boba Fett found a way to escape from the Sarlaac Pit.)

What's the point of bringing Maul back? If you want to bring back Maul, bring him back only as a recorded hologram. (SuperShadow: We have to do as ordered by Lucas. His vision is what really matters above our simplistic and misunderstood ideas of Star Wars.)

What does the Star Wars future hold for Jar Jar Binks? (SuperShadow: Jar Jar will continue to have a role in the new Clone Wars TV show.) Jar Jar was hardly in Star Wars Episode 3 so he couldn't have died and he had nothing to do with Star Wars Episodes 4, 5 or 6. Is Jar Jar going to be in Star Wars Episodes 7, 8 or 9? (SuperShadow: Not likely.) If not, is there an explanation as to what happened with Jar Jar? (SuperShadow: Lucas doesn't answer to the fans so the final fate of Jar Jar will forever remain unknown.)

Yo SS, what's up. (SuperShadow: Living life beyond perfection. Pure Heaven at all times.) I am just being a Star Wars fan and it is great so just an idea. Why don't yah have in Star Wars Episode 9 cloned Darth Vader come in first and then the Dark Jedi have a computer chip of all of Vader's thoughts and memories? (SuperShadow: Sweetness personified.)

The Dark Jedi download the memories into cloned Vader and bam you don't have to worry about that problem in the movie so then cloned Vader and Luke Skywalker are out prematurely and so they have one problem their eyes are molten gold like Anakin Skywalker's when he killed the Separatists during Revenge of the Sith. Then when they turn ultimate evil, their eyes turn dark fiery red. (SuperShadow: Simply brilliant.)

Then cloned Vader and cloned Luke go to the Jedi Temple and the Dark Jedi come and sack the Jedi Temple. The clones kill over 200 Jedi and 400 senate guards. Cloned Vader or Luke then confront Princess Leia, Ben Skywalker and Anakin Solo. Just then another Dark Jedi star ship comes. It is Darth Bane's star ship.

Bane comes out with Darth Maul, his Sith apprentice. Luke Skywalker, Han Solo and Chewbacca arrive as well and it is Anakin Solo vs. Maul, Leia vs. cloned Luke, Luke vs. cloned Vader and Ben vs. Bane. Bane cuts off Ben's arm (Ben lives). Anakin kills Maul. The Luke and Vader clones wipe the floor with the real Luke and Leia, but they survive and they escape and well that's it. Thanks. (SuperShadow: Very majestic and gorgeous. This will be forwarded to Lucas.)

S.S. It's my birthday today! As my gift can you please give us a detailed description of Darth Sidious' kyber crystal and where on his person he keeps it? Thanks for keeping us entertained! (SuperShadow: Not gonna happen. The kyber crystal is beyond your imagination and ability to comprehend.)

Is it possible for when Lucas remakes the Star Wars classic trilogy to have Commander Cody on the death star in A New Hope? (SuperShadow: No.) Then have Obi-Wan vs. Cody round 2? (SuperShadow: Nah.) Also if Anakin went into hiding with Obi-Wan, Yoda and everyone else, think of the possibilities? The Empire would have gone no where. (SuperShadow: Not true.)

After a few months, all the Jedi would most likely regroup with some early Rebels and go attack the Emperor and obliterate the Empire early on. (SuperShadow: Not realistic. Order 66 wiped out 95 % of the remaining Jedi at the conclusion of Revenge of the Sith.)

Lord Shadow, I'm sitting in the mall, watching shoppers, trying to work on a script. Having no luck at all. OK, the Inner Dilemma. The Hero has to confront some problem in his own life, and by doing so, becomes able to solve the larger problem. (SuperShadow: So what?)

What planet is Yarael Poof from? (SuperShadow: Shagri.) Can you tell me some history about him? (SuperShadow: None to reveal.) What happened to him? (SuperShadow: Deceased.)

Thursday, January 8, 2009

Hey Shadow. After Obi-Wan died in A New Hope, why didn't Obi-Wan just come back and totally mess with Darth Vader? (SuperShadow: Hilarious. Obi-Wan's voice could have made Vader crazy.) Obi-Wan could have his Force spirit follow Vader everywhere and Obi-Wan could keep Vader up all hours of the night when he was trying to sleep. (SuperShadow: Very, very funny.) In a sense, Obi-Wan could have driven Vader mad. (SuperShadow: Yeah, exactly. Something to think about.)

SuperShadow, I like the idea of Boba Fett getting a kyber crystal and becoming stronger with the Force. That way Boba can defeat Mace Windu. Plus I want Darth Maul to get a kyber crystal so he can fight. Also could adult Boba Fett be able to defeat Count Dooku? (SuperShadow: Boba Fett can't defeat a Sith Lord.) Answer back, please. I'm BEGGEN YOU! (SuperShadow: Kinda inquisitive. Your ideas will be forwarded to Lucas. Your concepts are mega killer cool.)

Hey SS, at the end of Return of the Jedi, how close was it before Luke Skywalker was saved by his father was Luke going to die? (SuperShadow: Luke was ready to go unconscious after two or three more Force lightning strikes against Luke. Vader intervened at a good time because Luke would have been unable to help himself if Luke was knocked out.)

I know this probably makes no sense, but you will figure it out. Thanks, SS. Hope you answer back and have a nice day. (SuperShadow: Luke was very, very, very close to being dead when Vader finally intervened and stopped Dantius Palpatine firing his Force lightning at Luke.)

Hello Shadow. You are right about one part of the Darth Maul theory, but not the other. We never saw anyone rescue Maul like we did with Anakin Skywalker. Remember Darth Sidious? Sidious helped Anakin in becoming Darth Vader. Sidious didn't need Maul anymore so therefore Maul is likely dead. (SuperShadow: I seem to doubt it because Darth Maul is ultra powerful.)

There is nothing but non canon material that suggests otherwise. With Windu, his hand is chopped off. With Maul, in half. No way that Maul really can be ALIVE. (SuperShadow: Think more positively.) Darth Vader, Darth Sidious or any of the Sith Lords or even Jedi would have sensed that. End of story. Let's be reasonable here. (SuperShadow: My fave part of Monty Python's Life of Brian is when the Brian character falls from the top of a tower and lands in an extraterrestrial space craft, which just happened to be in that area. Outrageous good fortune is sometimes needed.)

The real question is how do I submit this outstanding music for Mutt Lange to review? (SuperShadow: Mutt Lange is extremely reclusive and doesn't meet with the fans. Mutt doesn't listen to demo tapes made by amateurs.)

Previously stated on SS.com: "Who's Nebar Foxis? (SuperShadow: Nebar Foxis is the amazing Jedi character played by SuperShadow briefly for a split second in the Jedi Temple scenes of Revenge of the Sith. The immensely dazzling Nebar Foxis was considered by all to be the best looking Jedi in the history of the galaxy.)"

When you watch a DVD, there's a timer that times how much of movie has been viewed, and it is displayed on player. According to this timer, how far into "Revenge of the Sith" are you seen? (SuperShadow: Go to the scenes where Anakin Skywalker appears as a holographic image showing Nebar Foxis vs. Anakin in the Jedi Temple. This can be seen briefly.)

Previously posted on the mega ingenious SS.com: "(SuperShadow: If you hope to see something as killer cool as the Millennium Falcon in the live action TV show, then prepare for massive disappointment. Consider yourself forewarned.)"

Lord Shadow, George has talked about investing $2 million per episode. That's $ 44 million for a season. If George Lucas is going to spend that kind of money, I would hope to see something as killer cool as the Falcon. I would expect it. I would be disappointed if it's not there. (SuperShadow: Probably won't happen.)

Lord Shadow, this relates to my concept for the Dark Jedi, that they're energy beings who take the form of students in Luke's New Jedi Order and replace them. (SuperShadow: Very inventive. Semi almost amusing also.)

Lord Shadow, when you re-make a classic movie, or add a new Trilogy to an existing epic, you've got to have a great story. (SuperShadow: It all starts with the story.)

Supes, just a few quick questions. How is Lucas going to explain where Darth Maul was between Episode I and Episode 7? We can accept Mace Windu being in hiding, but why would Maul suddenly show up after 50 + years? (SuperShadow: Maul conspires with others to develop a plan to destroy the Jedi. It takes decades for their conspiracy to get to a point where it can be initiated.)

Lucas states that if you don't actually see a character die onscreen, then that character could still be alive. This opens up a debate that the Emperor could still be alive. If Maul could survive a fall yet be less powerful than Sidious, then certainly Sidious/The Emperor could have survived his fall. (SuperShadow: Agreed. Darth Sidious might have survived being thrown into the second death star reactor core during Return of the Jedi.)

Finally, when spelled out, the name See Threepio, sounds/looks a lot like the words "See Through," which seems fitting for a droid that once was actually see through before his platings were added. Is this how C-3PO's name came about? Thanks for answering! (SuperShadow: See Threepio's name is based on letters and numbers: C3PO. No special meaning.)

Wednesday, January 7, 2009

SS, one more Superman / Star Wars reference. Jedi have Force spirits. Superman has spirit like figures talking to Superman from the past. Close, maybe? (SuperShadow: Interesting sorta.)

In Star Wars Episode 6 when the Emperor has Luke Skywalker's light saber, how come the Emperor says much like your father's, when it is almost identical to Obi-Wan's and not at all like Vader's? (SuperShadow: This is a baseless fan myth. Luke Skywalker's light saber from Return of the Jedi was built by Luke based on light saber schematic plans Luke found at Obi-Wan's abandoned homestead on Tatooine.)

Greetings SuperShadow! Galen Marek from the Star Wars The Force Unleashed video game is missing in the list of the most powerful Jedi / Sith and in the midichlorian list? Where would he fit into, considering his enormous Force potential? (SuperShadow: Marek might rank in the top two thousand Force users of all time. Marek is not very impressive.)

Hello S.S. I disagree. Yoda was right about a lot of things. For instance when you look at what Yoda says about the dark side clouding everything, is for one, something that hints that the Jedi were not able to really sense what was going on. Also on the behalf where Yoda says at the end of Star Wars Episode 2, Yoda quote: "The shroud of the dark side has fallen. Begun the Clone Wars has."

Simply insists that the mystery of the Sith's existence is no longer a doubt. Then in Star Wars Episode 3 where Yoda says: "Great care we must take." Foreshadows the possible danger the Jedi may face ahead of time. In Star Wars Episode 1, Yoda says to Anakin Skywalker: "I sense much fear in you." Foreshadows Anakin's descent to the dark side, which did happen.

Then finally in Star Wars Episode 6, the part where Yoda tells Luke: "That the dark side is a path that cannot be turned from again once one goes down that path," serves as a warning as to what Luke can become, once being tempted by the dark side. Shows what actually almost happened after Luke struck Vader down.

These are all things that prove that Yoda was right about a lot of what took place and to say he was not is simply incorrect in my point view. One has to look at all sides of the picture to make any judgment. Not just one. That is all. (SuperShadow: If Yoda had any valuable insight, then the collapse of the entire galactic civilization of the Old Republic and Jedi Order would NOT have taken place when Yoda was responsible for the safe protection of the citizens of the galaxy.)

Dear Mr. Lucas, I am a huge Star Wars fan and I am eagerly awaiting the live action Star Wars TV series. Can you give us any pre production and/or production updates? (SuperShadow: Nothing to report. Lucas is currently writing the basic plot outline for the first season of episodes for the live action TV show.)

I would like to see the history between Boba Fett and Darth Vader and/or Han Solo. (SuperShadow: Not gonna happen.) In either the new Star Wars movies or in the live action TV series. (SuperShadow: No.) Additionally, I like very much that Chewbacca was in Star Wars Episode III. I would like to see more of him and his struggles against the Empire between Star Wars Episodes III and IV if this is consistent with your artistic message, of course. Thank you. (SuperShadow: Your wish can't happen. Not ever.)

Is there anyway at all I can send an e-mail to Natalie Portman (Padme Amidala from the Star Wars prequel trilogy)? (SuperShadow: No way. Nat has absolutely no direct contact with random, anonymous Star Wars fans.) She has been my favorite actor/actress of all time. I've seen everything with her in it and I think she is amazing. My e-mail is ****@****.net just in case. This would be a dream come true for me if possible. Happy New Year, SS! (SuperShadow: Get use to disappointment.)

The difference is, cloning is no longer science fiction. You can watch cloned sheep running around on the evening news. There's no fascinating SF aspect to cloning any more. (SuperShadow: We need several billion clones of me. This would be a Utopia for Earth.)

Lord Shadow, "Raiders of the Lost Ark" was based on Saturday morning serials, and "Star Wars" on Flash Gordon. I think we have a memory of a generic serial that involved cheesy space ships on wires and heroes wearing strange uniforms.

What IF there's a story about our first manned flight to Mars, and when the ship is about to go into orbit, "something" from the planet takes over the guidance system and directs the landing craft to a certain spot on the surface. Which is the entrance to a vast underground city, miles beneath the surface of Mars. (SuperShadow: Extraterrestrials can't exist.)

Do you think Star Wars has become all about light saber fights? (SuperShadow: Light saber battles are an important and integral element of the Star Wars plot formula. You can't really have Star Wars without light saber clashes.) We need to see more kinds of things in the Star Wars The Clone Wars TV show like space battles and characters that are not Jedi getting into adventures, etc. Let's remember why we fell in love with A New Hope. (SuperShadow: Your suggestions will be forwarded to Lucas. Perhaps, you will have an influence on future episodes of the new Clone Wars TV series.)

Tuesday, January 6, 2009

Master Shadow, I've noticed that all the character talk for the Star Wars sequel trilogy has focused around Mace Windu, Boba Fett and Darth Maul. What happened to Darth Bane? Has that idea been crossed off or does Bane still have a shot of being in the Star Wars sequels? (SuperShadow: Darth Bane will make an appearance in Star Wars Episode 7.)

Because (don't get me wrong, I would love to see Mace, Boba and Maul again, but) bringing back all 3 is just too much. (SuperShadow: Disagree. We must follow the vision of Lucas.) If you're going to bring back one character, let it be Boba Fett. Anything else is way overkill.

Because 1. One of the main reasons Maul is so cool is because he only has one or two lines of dialogue and is then killed off. 2. By the time of the sequel trilogy, Mace has gotta be in his hundreds of years old and by the look of Obi-Wan Kenobi in A New Hope, these post Republic Jedi don't age very well. (SuperShadow: Good one. Very hysterical.)

The only explanation I can think of is if right after being tossed out the window, Mace hits a speeder of some kind of doctor, who puts Mace in a bacta tank for 30 years or something which slows down the aging process. But please, just bring back one of those characters. If you put in all three, that's too much of a good thing. Have Darth Bane and Sifo Dyas as opposed to Mace and Maul. (SuperShadow: It's all or nothing. I've been searching high. I've been searching low.)

Hello, SuperShadow. When will the new Star Wars The Clone Wars TV series episode be out? (SuperShadow: The Cartoon Network will have new Clone Wars episodes each Friday at 9 P.M. East Coast Time in January 2009.) Since it was off for Christmas, when will a new episode be out? Hoped you had a Merry Christmas and have a Happy New Year. (SuperShadow: It can't get better because nothing is greater than infinity.)

SuperShadow, what color light saber blade would you prefer? (SuperShadow: Gold.) And I've been asking this question for months. What happens to Obi-Wan Kenobi's light saber after Obi-Wan was killed by Darth Vader aboard the death star in Star Wars Episode 4? (SuperShadow: Vader kept Obi-Wan's light saber as a trophy like a spoil of war.)

And is it true that "Starkiller" (Vader's secret apprentice from the Star Wars "The Force Unleashed" video game) is going to have a large role in Star Wars Episodes 7, 8 or 9? (SuperShadow: No chance. None at all.) Answer back soon, please. I have been sending you messages for the past few weeks. (SuperShadow: Good for you.)

Mighty SS, would Padme have been a Jedi if she had lived beyond Revenge of the Sith? (SuperShadow: Nyet. No way.)

I have always been a fan of Star Wars and would like to see another Star Wars movie made. (SuperShadow: Future Star Wars films based on the live action Star Wars TV series are possible if unlikely at this point. Star Wars Episode 7 doesn't arrive in multiplexes until May of 2021. It's similar to waiting for Armageddon to happen, but instead it costs us tons of money vis a vis movie tickets, DVD's and other Star Wars merchandise.)

Hey SS! In Star Wars Episode Three when Mace Windu had Darth Sidious on the ground and appeared defeated, I always thought that Sidious took the fall so that Anakin Skywalker would be blinded by the truth that the Jedi were the twisted ones, not the Sith. (SuperShadow: This is a reasonable interpretation.) At least that's the way I saw it!

But I was reading something to the fact that Sidious was actually being beat down by Mace. I just didn't see it that way. (SuperShadow: Believe what you will. Lucas doesn't care.) Could you clarify this for me? (SuperShadow: Nothing to add.) Thanks!

I'm a huge fan and me and my four year old daughter alternate Star Wars movie episodes once a month! Also I really would hope LUCAS would start production on Star Wars Episode 7, 8 and 9 before we all die! Have a safe new year! (SuperShadow: In a mere 40 years, the Anti-Christ child will be old enough to take his or her rightful control over the entire world. This means you only have a brief 4 decades of mega excruciating torment until the Great Tribulation. Pray hourly for the continued safety of our young supreme overlord tyrant. This is truly the greatest time to have ever lived.)

Hey George, sorry but 16 years is too long to wait for the third Star Wars film trilogy. How about shooting for 2015 or 2016? Thanks. (SuperShadow: Unfortunately, Lucas doesn't need the money. If we can cause the stock markets and real estate holdings to plummet 98 % in value, then Lucas may have no choice but to film Star Wars Episode 7 immediately in order for Lucasfilm to remain in business.)

The Dark Knight Blu-ray sales of over 1.7 million units and total DVD and Blu-ray sales of 13.5 million worldwide, including consumer sales and rental sales, in one week. Brisk consumer sales are expected to continue through the holiday season. The Dark Knight is the best selling Blu-ray title in history and will become the best selling 2008 title overall this week. (SuperShadow: Sounds awesome.)

Lord Shadow, do you see any similarities between the Villain in "The Exorcist" and Heath Ledger's "The Joker"? Both captured the audience's interest, but perhaps in different ways. (SuperShadow: What they have in common is that neither exists in the real world. Remember the only conspiracies worth creating are ones the U.S. Government can't prove to be factual. No evidence of these secret schemes will ever be found.)

I know that this isn't related to the Star Wars movies, but I really must ask. Will Indiana Jones 5 ever happen? (SuperShadow: Unknown. Only my unlimited genius, compassion and great looks can be taken for granted.) If so, who will be Indy Jones in this next adventure? (SuperShadow: While Lucas remains alive, Lucas will NEVER recast the Indiana Jones acting role. It's either Harrison Ford as Indiana Jones or else Indiana Jones 5 doesn't get produced.) What specific clues and artifacts does Indy Jones have to find in this one? (SuperShadow: The most current Indiana Jones 5 plot script summary is found exclusively at SS.com.)
